The 38 Best Things to Eat at Disneyland

"The perfect mix between hot, crispy fries and potato wedges, this reliable side dish also makes for a filling snack. If you’re hungrier, have them with one of the restaurant’s loaded hot dogs, like the Los Angeles-influenced bacon “street dog,” with red pepper ketchup, grilled onions, roasted red pepper strips, and bacon crumbles, or the plant-based dog with mushrooms, grilled onions and peppers, and cashew crema." - Carlye Wisel

The Baseline: For theme park to-go food stands the food must be tasty, have an experience, reliable service, and be a part of the experience. Food: Hot dogs. They are a bit higher end hot dogs with some niche toppings and styles but it is still a hot dog. The Film strip fries are a must (skip the cutie option). Drinks are theme park standards here (soda, water, etc.). Service: Disney staff are fast and efficient delivering food and the service is great. Ambiance: Good ambiance for the Hollywood street feel. The award and hot dogs thing works for the area but if someone gave me a hotdog for an award I would not be feeling it unless I was starving.

We got the carne asada fries. Absolutely trash, I've been in SoCal for 10 years now and I've never been more offended (dramatic, but seriously, these were BAD). Guacamole had a hint of applesauce taste to it, no clue how they did that. Tastes awful. Fries were okay. Asada was meh, felt like I was eating chilli.

I've been to DCA so many times and always walked past this spot. It never came to mind to try it. Until, a couple weeks ago my husband wanted to try new food and we were ordering drinks here (Baja Breeze is a must try) so decided to try the bacon hot dog with fries. We ordered thru the app and it was quick and easy. The hot dog was so good!!! My husband & i LOVE IT. It's definitely a new snack spot for us two. We recommend it.

Finally tried this place after eyeing it every time I go to California Adventure but didn’t want to wait in the long line. The lines can be long. Cast Members (staff) manage the lines swiftly and there’s always the mobile order option. $10.99 is not bad for a hot dog 🌭 and fries🍟. I shared the Bacon Street Dog. The hot dog was good. We loved the fries more. Cast Members do an amazing job of keeping the area clean. Keep in mind it can be hard to find seating here

Google
This is a walk-up and order or mobile order place. We ordered through the app. The hot dogs smelled amazing. But they didn't serve it in a way that was easy to walk with. They gave it to us with a tray, while we needed to walk and eat to get to our next item on the agenda. The hot dogs were alright. You could tell they were boiled, so not the best taste. But not horrible. We did enjoy that it was texas toast instead of a bun. The fries were weird at first but tasted good.

Google
We needed a quick bite to eat and this place hardly had a wait so we stopped by. Fries were delicious and the dog itself too was so tasty. The staff was friendly and it was so quick. Outside ordering area and then the tables are near the Mickey's Philharmonic show. Plenty of seating available and staff are always working hard keeping the area clean

Google
We got the asada fries and they were pretty good. The fries were nice and crispy, but we wish the toppings were more evenly distributed as once you finish the top layer, there’s no more toppings. The meat was tender.

Google
Very Poor Customer Service by all Cast Members working on July 10th, 2025, 20 minutes before closing. They were out of everything because they were cleaning up with about 30 people in line and we weren't at the front of it. No Chili for the chili dog and the bacon, peppers and onions were cold on my hot dog.... There were a lot of upset customers and no one seemed to care they just kept shutting it down. It literally took 20 min to get the hot dogs ......

Yelp
I really enjoyed the elote dog and filmstrip fries both times but they've really got to fix their mobile order system for this spot! Both times we've ended up waiting 15-20 minutes after arriving. The mobile order lines were really long and it gets confusing because people who do NOT have their orders ready yet get in line and stand in front of those who already have their orders ready for pick up. I'm not sure what causes the hold up for mobile orders but I hope it improves.

Yelp
Posting this a bit late, came here during my birthday trip to Disney in November 2024. We were super hungry and most places had long wait times, so we stopped at Award Wieners and honestly, it did the trick. The food came out quickly and the portions were generous. I got the hot dog and carne asada fries, and surprisingly the fries were the highlight. The meat was flavorful and the guac on top was a nice touch. The hot dog was decent, nothing too special, but still solid. For the price, there are definitely better spots to eat at Disney, but if you're in a pinch and don't want to wait forever, this is a reliable option.

Yelp
This review is for my most recent visit. Did a mobile order and waited 30 minutes before our order was ready. That's a normal wait time so I have no issue with that. Then received an alert to let them know when I was there. I clicked that I was there then got a notification that my order would be ready in 3-11 minutes. Ok, not an issue. I finally received a notification that my order is ready at window 4. I showed up only to find all other windows were closed and the line for window 4 went all they back to the other side of the street. I was a bit annoyed because there were several workers standing there while only one was prepping the orders. I questioned why that was and got no response. I waited for a while and the line finally started moving. It would be helpful if they would open up a few more windows.

Yelp
Tried the Street Corn Dog, SUPER FILLING AND DELICIOUS. Tasted quite similar to Mexican street corn, but somewhat has its own kick to this meal. This hot dog came with a side of potato fries, both served freshly hot. All this was almost $12, WORTH YOUR BUCK. They also give free water here in giant cups so that's a great perk too! Highly suggest once again to order on the Disneyland app to speed up the process to go straight to pick up!

Yelp
I love the carne asada fries here they're so good!! They also have great seasonal offerings. I had the milanesa torta which was delicious and definitely big enough to share with another person. They also have some 21+ drinks, I had the strawberry hibiscus margarita. It was more on the strong side than fruity or sweet, but I still enjoyed it. There is seating but it can get pretty full.

Yelp
I was at Disneyland's California Adventure with some friends for the day when they started ranting and raving about how good the hot dogs are Award Wieners are. This place was pretty much right at the front of the park so as soon as we walked in, we headed to the line and awaited our turn to order. Once at the window, I ordered what some might consider the most boring hot dog order of all time, a plain hot dog on a bun. Why did I order this you ask? Because of a place has a boring basic dog, they clearly aren't going to be that great of a hot dog place. The hot dog was handed to me right away and what I took a bite of was one of the most mediocre hot dogs I've ever had in my life. It tasted worse than a ballpark dog, it was less memorable than a gas station hot dog, and it's something I will probably never think of again after leaving this review. Overall, Award Wieners tastes like just another mediocre theme park joint with hot dogs. Disney has a ton of food options, this will not be a repeat for me as a

Yelp
Totally adequate amusement park food. It doesn't really live up to the descriptions, but it's totally fine. It's

Yelp
The vegan hot dog was great and the fries were unique, but I didn't like that the server chose to warn me about it being plant-based.

Yelp
One of our faves for a great, quick meal! Hot dogs - how can you go wrong and they are really tasty! They have good extras and drinks to add to the main event and of course the ambiance of eating in downtown, heyday Hollywood is fantastic! Grab a seat at a show across the road at the Philharmonic or a movie picture or more!?!?? Have fun!

Yelp
Date of visit: February 2, 2025 Selections: Banh Mi Hot Dog Strawberry Milk Tea Macaron Large Diet Coke Experience: I have been here a couple of times before to try items off their normal menu and seasonal items. I was excited this time around to try their Bahn Mi Hot Dog for the Lunar New Year festivities happening around California Adventure. I wanted to place a mobile order, but couldn't find the item on the menu, so I ended up having to wait in line to get the item I wanted. Probably stood in line for 15-20 minutes and then got to place my order. I ended up also getting their Strawberry Milk Tea Macaroon and a large Diet Coke with my hot dog. Had to wait an additional few minutes for my food to be made and was glad that my husband already secured us seats cause I was hangry. I loved the taste of the Bahn Mi Hot Dog and they put a lot of pork belly alongside the halved hot dog that was in there with the pickled veggies. I couldn't finish cause it was a lot alongside the fries and it did fall apart a bit in the end. Also I wanted room to dive into the macaroon, which truly did taste like a Strawberry Milk Tea boba. So excited to eat here again, especially for their seasonal items.
google avatar

Clarissa A.

Yelp
Mediocre. Was so excited to try the banh mi hot dog at lunar new year but they cut the hot dog itself so you're only getting half of it and the pork belly along with the hot dog are super salty. Bun is dense and hard, veggie sauce could be better. The saving grace and why I gave one extra star were the fries. These are delicious. I'd skip this place for some of the better options in the park, plus on mobile order you still end up needing to wait even when they tell you your order will be ready. Casual stand with outdoor seating in the back.

Yelp
Great little food stand located in the DCA park. Seating area is around the corner. They also take mobile orders. I have tried a few of their hot dogs before and they are pretty good/affordable. I kept seeing the Brewery X Baja Breeze on TikTok so we wanted to give it a try. It was good but I didn't think it was as amazing as everyone made it out to be. If you are a fan of seltzers, you will like it.
google avatar

Yelp
My family and I were on a mission this Disneyland/DCA trip to visit Award Wieners to try their new Torta de Milanesa! We finally found the time on our last day and we were not disappointed! We also ordered the Stuffed Pan Dulce as well as their Seaborn Strawberry Hibiscus Margarita and Brewery X, Baja Breeze beverages. Award Wieners is located in DCA down the Hollywood Blvd/Sunset Blvd streets, across from the Disney Jr. theater and Off the Page. They have seating next door that is covered and we usually never have an issue finding a table. The Torta de Milanesa was very flavorful and filling - it even comes with your choice of a Cutie or their infamous fries. My daughter wasn't a huge fan of the Stuffed Pan Dulce, she mostly just ate the strawberries out of it, but I loved the Baja Breeze - it was a Baja Blast soda with alcohol. The service is always so slow at Award Wieners even when they have lots of people working so I definitely suggest mobile ordering if you can to help cut down on some of the wait time. They also offer hot dogs and asada fries - I feel like their menu is always changing too. Check them out!

Yelp
Award wieners 1313 S Disneyland Dr Anaheim, CA October 16, 2024 Food: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Portion size: 5/5 Visit: Came to grab glizzys well at Disneyland California Adventure. Food: We ordered One Uptown Chili hotdog with fries. Service: Dine-in, Service was great and food was prepared correctly and under 15 minutes through the line during Lunch rush, service was fast and food quality was fresh.
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
I saw the Brewery X- Baja Breeze all over my TikTok and gave it a try !! Overall it was pretty mid :-( I'm not a huuuge fan of seltzers but it wasn't bad -- a 7/10. The line for Award Weiners was about 15ish mins (I mobile ordered).

Yelp
Another visit to California Adventure Park deserved another visit to Award Wieners (so good last visit). This visit though was during the Lunar New Year celebration and so...aptly proffered on the Menu, the Banh Mi Dog (actually a Vietnamese Street Food Sandwich). Feeling the vibe of the Park...I opted for this choice and am happy to say, it was delicious. More expensive than the regular/usual Hot Dog offerings but what the hey...it's the Lunar New Year , so ya just gotta go with it. The Fries were as good as previously experienced and yes, still thick and oddly shaped...which probably "adds" to the perceived "goodness". The seating area wasn't as crowded as last visit, so seating was readily available. Only one complaint...(thus the 4 Stars instead of 5) the WAIT! Other orders were "flying" out of the pick-up window...and everyone in my group/party had received their orders and were at the table waiting for me. They waited and waited and kindly...waited some more! Ten minutes later (I'm sure their food was already cold) I finally received my order...with the explanation of "the pickled vegetables were not ready and had to be prepared"....ok, really?! Apologizing to the rest of my family...we finally ate. Yasss...it was yummy, but there was that "long wait" sooo in this Yelper's opinion, on this occasion... Award Wieners in California Adventure Park receives this still "highly recommend" 4 Stars review.
google avatar

Eunie L.

Yelp
Came for the bahn mi hotdog for the Lunar New Year celebration. This was on my list of things to try and it did not disappoint. They make it fresh to order and that really makes a difference. The veggies were crunchy. The bread was not soggy. The hot dog had a slight crunch from the casing and that was another good texture component. And the fries are thin with crispy edges. I waited roughly 10 minutes and it was well worth the wait.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm never interested in hot dogs but the MEATBALL SUB HERE!! Was AMAZING!! Big juicy flavorful meatballs topped with crunchy mozzarella sticks and a side of their crispy film fries (curly fries). The marinara sauce went really well with the fries too. Oh mann I'm thinking about that sandwich again. We used mobile order on our phone so we got to pick up our food within 15-20 minutes! (Avoid all lines at all cost) Great when you're walking from Disney to DCA. Lots of seating around the area too. I would definitely get the meatball sub when I come back! It's worth it
google avatar

Brannon Y.

Yelp
5 stars and here's why: I ordered the meatball sandwich. To whoever thought about adding FRIED MOZZARELLA STICKS into that sandwich... I just wanna say THANK YOU! It's a textural masterpiece and the flavors don't miss a beat. Comes with Film Strip fries (aka sidewinder fries), and that might be my preferred way to eat fries now. The service is going to be dependent on the crowd, but I got my meal in about 15 min with a small line (maybe 3-4 people ahead of me). The process is similar to food truck style where you order from a window and they call your number out to retrieve your meal. It might not be the easiest sandwich to eat while walking, but thankfully there is plenty of shaded outdoor seating. I was lucky enough to find a spot in the shade with fans as above my head, so keep an eye out for those if you tend to get hot easily like me :). Safe to say I'll be back for more!
google avatar

Christine H.

Yelp
This place is DCA's best kept secret! At least, it was to me before my date brought me here... Generally, I'm not a huge fan of hot dogs (just ask my dude), but once I had my first bite it was a whirlwind romance I could not escape! In the last week I've eaten here TWICE! Yes, it's that good and is a great bang for your buck while you're enjoying your day at Disney California Adventure! A specialty hot dog with their iconic film strip fries will only set you back about $12! Even cheaper if you're an annual passholder! The fries are always cooked to perfection and the sourdough bun is perfect addition to this absolutely tasty treat at DCA! The line moves fast and you'll always have your order within a minute or two!
google avatar

Matthew U.

Yelp
I love the play on names here, Award Wieners definitely lives up to their name. Being in Hollywood Land, it definitely fits in. I had been all over the park, with my food restrictions still in place, and I was starting to worry that I wouldn't be able to find anything to eat. I came here in hopes that I might be able to get something fried without it being fried with other foods that might contain the restriction. I was in luck here as they only fried potatoes of various variety. It was a nice way to finally get a bite to eat. The menu was simple and focused. Hot dogs and fries with a few side items and drinks. I went with a simple hot dog and fries. The hot dog was an all beef and came with your choice of fries or Mandarin oranges. Of course I went with the fries as I am a potato fiend. The hot dog is your plain jane type of dog, but it is of a hefty size. I did not have it topped with anything, so I really did go plain jane on it, which is completely fine. What I liked most were the fries. I understand why they call them film strip fries as they are thick spiral cut fries. If I had anything for dippy, this would have been the way to get the most amount of dip of your choosing. When I added a drink this equaled out to about what you would pay outside the park at a conventional fast food spot. It was about $15 total, so I didn't feel like I paid way too much for this quick, walkable meal.
google avatar

Britney M.

Yelp
The BEST wiener around! Don't tell my fiancé I said that haha The Plant-based Philly Dog is my go-to hot dog here! It is a vegetarian hot dog with mushrooms, onions and vegan cheese. Comes with those little cutie oranges or French fries. The hot dog is delicious. Honestly, it is exciting to have plant-based options at the park. And it doesn't taste like weeds from the garden lol It actually tastes really good!! The French Fries are yummy too. This is a great spot. They give discounts for AP holders. Awesome! :)
google avatar

Cathrine S.

Yelp
Carne Asada fries in Disneyland? 5 stars. Now, don't expect these to be like the carne asada fries you'd get at a taqueria, but if you're in California Adventure and find yourself craving some asada fries? Award Wieners got you. This location is a counter service/quick service, they also offer a ton of different hot dog options as well as Magic key discounts. Tons of shades seating behind the ordering counter, ask for a cup of water - it's free!
google avatar

Jason B.

Yelp
These are some of the best hotdogs I've ever had in my life. The weiners themselves, the buns, the toppings, the fries, all are just incredible. Even though I'm not vegetarian anymore, I always get the plant-based hotdog. It's just simply that good. The bell peppers and sweet onions on top with the crispy bread and great hot dog, *chef's kiss.* The unique thick spiral fries are just fantastic, too. Crunchy while soft on the inside. The price is great, too! If you ever go to Disney's California Adventure and you want a darn good hotdog for a decent cost, I can't recommend this place enough.
google avatar

Yelp
I love the mobile order feature when the line is too long! Super convenient. I got the Asada fries they were $12.49 and I do believe the portion was worth it! So flavorful I just wish they spread the toppings a bit more
google avatar

Denise D.

Yelp
This was a fun, fast place to eat. The fries were thick and curly which the toddler seemed to enjoy. We tried the chili dog which they also sprinkled some corn chips on. Because the parade was going on, there were plenty of places to seat
google avatar

Katie D.

Yelp
Finally tried this place after eyeing it every time I go to California Adventure but didn't want to wait in the long lines. Cast Members (staff) manage the lines swiftly and there's always the mobile order option. $10.99 is not bad for a hot dog and fries . I shared the Bacon Street Dog. The hot dog was good. We loved the fries more. Cast Members do an amazing job of keeping the area clean. Keep in mind, it can be hard to find seating here. They don't have a designated seating area. You use the benches and tables in the surrounding area.
google avatar

Ariana N.

Yelp
Do not do mobile order! Food is good enough but mobile order takes longer than the regular line 1/5 Plant based Philly dog: comes with fries or a mandarin orange. I got fries- very filling and sandwich also decently good! Watch out it tips over easily and it teeters in the plate so easy to spill the toppings off the plate if it tips over. 4/5
google avatar

Robert O.

Yelp
I've always passed by this place while in the parks, but after seeing some park food reviews, I was interested in trying the Asada Fries. This is a hole-in-the-wall, but I believe there is a dining area on the right of the service windows. I tried mobile order, but It felt as slow as going up to a window. If you try mobile order, probably do it well in advanced. I got the Asada Fries. I was surprised at how much you get, but the dish is about $13. It was also a bit more flavorful than I was expecting as well. You get thick cut fries, topped with steak, salsa, guacamole, onions, and cilantro. I was surprised that I was filled up with this alone, but I do wish there was more steak compared to the amount of fries you get. It's a little expensive, but it's worth a try.
google avatar

Geronimo T.

Yelp
Visited Disney California adventures. Ordered some hotdogs through the Disneyland App. Very convenient to do. You will be notified when ready for pick up. I recommend instead of ordering and waiting at the front counter. Hotdogs is the best the. park has to offer. Did not dissapoint. If you want some greasy hotdogs, do so at the happiest place on earth.
google avatar

Yelp
Holiday Beef Dip - This thing is MASSIVE and tasty. A ton of beef AND there is a hot dog in there (which isn't needed honestly). You taste alot of beef, hint of caramelized onion, and the fried pickle crunch. I couldn't finish it, so huge. Good for 2 people. The fried pickle inside is delicious too. Nice avocado spread, melted cheese. Bread was fresh, flaky outside, fluffy inside. The jalapeño au jus was tasty too and not spicy. The only thing that was missing was some lettuce tomato and onion on it to give a balance to all that meat. The fries are always fresh here and very similar to thick steak fries. You can see a video review of it on You Tube Disneyworld Vacationer.Get this dish and skip those Festival of Holidays overpriced food booths (except the milk and cookies hot chocolate, that is so good!) Mobile order takes a while though because its very popular so click "Im here" 20 minutes before you are ready to eat. The place is always clean, customer service excellent, but seating is limited since its so popular right now and people from the surrounding food booths are using the seats too.

Yelp
And the reward goes to the Best Wiener In a supporting roll Location: Located inside of Disney California Adventure, on the way to Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout! ride. Service: Friendly and fast Food: Ordered the all beef hot dog with a side of sauerkraut. The order came with fries. It was so good. Maybe because I was hungry. Got a discount with my pass! Yay, it was a win win situation. Definitely will support the supporting roll!
google avatar

Ben H.

Yelp
Te Ka Dog (seasonal): Get! Whoa, a messy overstuffed hotdog with a kick! Stuffed in a roll bun and not really a hotdog bun, this hotdog is spicy, saucy, and very in your face if you're into that (I am). The hotdog itself is so much longer than the bun and topped with these crispy fluffy chips. Honestly, you'll probably have to move to knife a fork. Fries are not bad but unremarkable It's not cheap and for $16 dollars it's not really worth it either. But as a seasonal offering I don't regret my choice and maybe I'll come back for their normal menu items next time. Food: 8/10 Value: 4/10
google avatar

Sabrina C.

Yelp
These asada fries were delicious!! I loved the texture of the French fries and the guacamole and meat was so plentiful! I loved the additional toppings added which just made the flavor all around yummy. This was a big win and satisfying purchase at award wieners.
google avatar

Linh P.

Yelp
Although award Weiners is known for their food, I usually come here for the drinks! I love the seltzers they have available here, my staple is the wine seltzer and they have some seasonal seltzers too. It's a good bang for your buck, since most of the seltzers are 10% ABV. I recommend mobile ordering as the lines can get pretty long!
google avatar

Dan B.

Yelp
Grabbed the specialty Carne Asada Fries during the Latin Heritage Month. While I've enjoyed the hot dogs from this stand in the past, these fries were just a flat miss. The meat is ground beef that was lightly seasoned, unappetizing cheese and topped with a dollop of guacamole. I enjoyed the style of fry used. Overall, glad to have tried it but I'll stick to the regular menu next time!
google avatar

Jo W.

Yelp
We came here for dinner and certainly enjoyed the wiener hot dogs and fries. We also got Halloween special drinks from Hollywood Lounge not too far away, and an Oogie Boogie dessert during the Halloween season, which was really just thick green frosting topped with gummy worms. Just bought it for the cheap novelty. This is located right in front of the entrance for Mickey's Philharmonic, so right after eating here, we went into the theater.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
If all you're looking for is a yummy hot dog and some fries, come here! The hot dog was large and the fries were yummy and crispy wedges. We shared it between 3 of us for an afternoon snack and it hit the spot!
google avatar

Zarifa A.

Yelp
Award wieners is a great option to get a quick, filling meal at DCA. They have about 4 different hot dog options and carne asada fries on their regular menu, however, they usually also have seasonal items as well. During my last visit, I ordered the pastrami Reuben hot dog, which was a seasonal item. It is an all beef hot dog with pastrami, carmelized onions, pickled cabbage, thousand island, spicy mustard, provolone, and pickle spears. I was surprised by how delicious this combination was! I'm usually not a fan of mustard but it worked really well with the hot dog and all the flavors in the hot dog in general worked together really well. This hot dog is huge and is honestly enough to feed 2 people. Because of how big and loaded the hot dog is, it is really messy trying to eat, so be sure to grab extra napkins! All the hot dogs come with filmstrip fries. The filmstrip ones are definitely a unique shape of fry but it actually tastes really good. During prior trips, I've had a couple of their hot dogs on the regular menu which were also good, but didn't blow me away like the Reuben hot dog did. Despite this, I would still say that they're still solid options if you want a hot dog. I would say service here is similar to the service at most quick dining options at Disneyland, so not the best but also not the worst. It's really obvious that the employees here are just really busy. The wait for food can be pretty long so I definitely recommend mobile ordering. There is an ample amount of outdoor seating by the restaurant. If you have a magic key pass, be sure to use it here to get a discount.

Yelp
I finally felt in the mood for a hot dog and seeing the art deco look of Award Wieners my husband and I decided to have lunch here. I was wondering where the dining area was and I saw a group of tables under cover of Mickey's Philhar Magic. That was perfect for me because I was debating whether or not to get the chili dog. Instead of doing mobile order with the line not being overly long I ordered at the counter. I got the plant based Philly dog and fries for my husband and ordered the bacon street dog for myself. The bacon street dog comes with red pepper, grilled onions, ketchup, bell peppers and bacon crumbles. The Philly dog is topped with mushroom, grilled onions, and peppers with a crema. Regular all beef hot dogs are also available to order. The hot dogs come with a side of fries which are filmstrip shaped. If you want to doctor them up then you could order it as a side known as Asada. It took about 15 minutes to get the food and we sat down to enjoy it. This was one of the best hot dogs I had in a long time! The fries were good too. Not too greasy and loved the shape of them. My husband enjoyed his vegan Philly dog and told me it tasted good. The food wasn't overly filling and I was glad since we had a big dinner ahead of us. Mobile ordering is available here. Located in Hollywood land next to Mickey's Philhar Magic.

Yelp
Award Wieners, located in Hollywoodland at Disney California Adventure, offers one excellent vegan option, the plant-based Philly hotdog! It is delicious topped with grilled mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and a crema. The bun was the perfect amount of toasted. The fries were perfectly crispy too, and an interesting shape. The meal costs $10 making it one of the best bang for your buck to get a filling vegan meal at Disney California Adventure. Pricing is honestly on par for what I'd expect a vegan hotdog/fries combo outside of the theme parks to be. Mobile ordering is offered at this location. Be sure to stay nearby as you wait to pick up your order because the employees do not have microphones and it may be hard to hear when they call you.

Yelp
We've never actually eaten here until recently when we went for the Lunar New Year event! This spot doesn't have any exclusive event food but I believe they rotate items on their menu every once in a while like the rest of the park. We actually ended up having dinner here because it was one of the few spots still open after 9pm. We came out of Radiator Springs so late (2 hr wait even tho it was initially only 75min) and really wanted to grab some boba and Korean food but they were already closed by the time we got out. So, we ended up here and getting a Cubano Dog and Blueberry-Maple Bacon Funnel Cake Fries. We placed a mobile order which is common around here nowadays and it came out rather quickly, maybe because it was already the end of the night? I wasn't very hungry since we ate A TON of lunar new year food throughout the day! We definitely didn't expect a full meal either since we were used to the small servings from the kiosks. We ended up taking the Cubano Dog home after a few bites. It's definitely a mouthful but really tasty! The mustard is super strong just fyi. The funnel cake fries were delicious! Love the fries form of it and the maple bacon complimented it well. Love a good sweet and savory balance. Can't wait to try their other items in the future! IG: @ammysalamii

Yelp
came to california adventure on a random wednesday for the holiday season and decided to stop by this joint to pick up some food. ended up getting the hollywood beef dip just because it is a seasonal item, so chances are i'll probably never have it again. the hollywood beef dip is a sandwich consisting of beef, onions, fried pickles, avocado sauce and their award wiener. i will say this about the sandwich. each one of the ingredients on its own was bussin. the fried pickles were awesome (i wish they sold them on their own). beef was juicy. wiener was tasty. onions were perfectly caramelized. each ingredient so well made. buuuuuuut when put together into one massive sandwich, it kind of misses in my book. something about these ingredients together doesn't mesh well. maybe its just me, but i'd still say it is worth a try. side note - the fries were great. uniquely cut. never seen fries like this before. crispy and potatoey at the same time.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place because they had a plant-based dog, but it was a total miss besides the film strip fries. In the future, I'll skip the dog and just get the real winner - the fries. Mobile order is available, so order to skip the line.

Yelp
Honestly, I have always passed up Award Wieners as a dining option since I usually feel that the Refreshment Corner's seasonal hot dog offerings are much more interesting than what they have here. My friends wanted to get something to snack on and this was the closest food spot that wasn't a cart, so we opted to get the Uptown Chili Dog. It's a regular sized chili cheese dog with pepper jack cheese, chili, and Fritos between a toasted bun. There's a side of spiral potato wedges. The chili cheese dog itself was alright, for what it was worth, nothing particularly special in comparison to something you'd get at a fast food chain outside. The fries were really crispy and fresh, but were super bland. Overall just alright, better eating options at Disney California for sure.

Yelp
I didn't go the hot dog route so I'll probably update this review when I do. I ordered the Asada Fries for my first time at this place. The fries were good, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The toppings which included diced onions, cheese, guacamole, and carne asada were all good quality. This place didn't have sour cream so they probably could have put a little more guacamole to it. Serving size was decent. There is lots of outdoor seating right next to it. Service was mediocre as you order through a window so there isn't too much interaction, but the servers could have been nicer and more attentive. Overall, good experience. Next time I'll get a hot dog.
