Awesome Bites Co.’s Vegan Sweets and Ice Cream Will Debut at Sawyer Yards | Eater Houston

"A Houston-born, health-focused bakery opening its first brick-and-mortar this spring at 2313 Edwards Street in Sawyer Yards. Founded by Jennifer Thai after she began selling treats at farmers markets while searching for allergy-friendly snacks for her daughter, the shop specializes in vegan, dairy-free, soy-free offerings that are also free of gluten, refined sugars, eggs, and nuts. Signature items include famed oatmeal chocolate chip muffins baked without sugar and sweetened naturally with coconut, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, and pears; vegan brownies made with black beans; blondies made with chickpeas; and dairy-free ice cream served in gluten-free waffle cones. The beverage program will feature nitro cold brew made with beans from a local Houston roaster, and the bakery is currently expected to open in April." - Amy McCarthy

We love awesome bites! It’s worth the drive wherever you are in Houston. Truely, the best and only allergen friendly bakery in Houston in my opinion. I don’t know how they do it but no other place can beat the flavors, creativity, and TEXTURE of their baked goods and ice cream. It’s truely a miracle walking in there as something who’s gluten and dairy free.

Google
Awesome Bites has the most amazing allergen-friendly treats! I live for the days they make their cinnamon rolls — they’re absolutely incredible. Everything I’ve tried has been fantastic, but nothing compares to their Blackout Cupcakes on Cupcake Fridays. My fiancé doesn’t have any dietary restrictions, and even he says they’re his favorite cupcake. They’re rich, delicious, and impossible to resist. We can never say no to a Blackout Cupcake when they’re available!

Google
This shop has the best GF ice cream and other amazing goodies that my husband who isn't into GF/allergen desserts absolutely loves their donuts, cupcakes and ice-cream. We aren't in the area, but drive from the Clear Lake area for special treats. My favorite must be the ice cream cream, especially: 1. Chocolate Olive oil: soooooo creamy and chocolatety! 2. Lavender earl Grey: strong, aromatic flavors yet well balanced 3. Strawberry 🍋: very refreshing I just tried whay appears to be a new/seasonal flavor, "Vamp" which is dark chocolate and cranberry. Amazing combo I want a whole tub!!

Google
I will tell anyone who will listen that if you have dietary restrictions or food allergies, this is a MUST try. It is so hard to find places that offer quality options and so far, I am obsessed with their cupcakes and cake! I tried the salted caramel cupcake and the cookies and cream cake. They were both delicious! I feel like a lot of gluten free cupcakes/cakes have a really weird, dry texture and these are so moist and flavorful. I've seen people comment on the pricing but 1. If you read their website's faqs page and about their products, you're getting what you pay for and 2. There are many dessert places in Houston that charge similar prices (if not more) and the quality is not as good. They have theme days (cupcake day, cake day, etc.), so you might want to check out their website or IG page before you go in case you're in the mood for trying something specific.

Google
Love the cute store and service, and the ice cream tastes healthy The store is super adorable! Decorated with so much energy and sparks, it is a treat to just look around and discover. Everyone is super friendly and cheerful behind the counter… so nice! The ice cream options are full of funky flavors. Lavender earl grey is packed with lavender smell and taste, could get a boost from a creamy texture-but understand this is probably made with the normal ingredients. Happy eating

Google
Still the best place ever. Got to go here Easter weekend and they didn't disappoint. Saturday got the cookie of the month,(suntella stuffed cookie)and lemon dreamsicle both were amazing. Sunday came in and got the caramelized banana split. The ABSOLUTE BEST EVER. 4 scoops of their ice cream, 2 toppings and caramelized bananas(all of which is top 9 allergy friendly)( ice cream is coconut based.) But you can't tell a difference between theirs and a regular banana split(except theirs is waaay better) Been here twice and this place is so awesome!!!! I've had to deal with food intolerances now for 3 years, so its been quite a change for me. But this place makes you feel like you're eating "regular food" just like everyone else but way better than regular food. The chocolate cake slice I had on my first visit is by far the best chocolate cake I've ever had. Also tried their bday cake choco taco and it was so good. Then went back for valentine's day and they didn't disappoint. Got the valentine's basket full of goodies and everything was amazing. My husband who doesn't have food issues tried the cake and a choco taco from them and totally agrees that they are the best. If you're in the area you owe it to your self to try them out weather you have dietary needs or not. You will definitely love anything you get from there.

Google
We were in the city, and my daughter was seeking a vegan bakery. This establishment was the closest to our location. The Lavender Early Grey ice cream was exceptionally delectable (I sampled my son's). The Lemon Berry cake was satisfactory, although it lacked the moistness of our homemade version, but the flavor was comparable. Upon entering the establishment, the individual at the counter emphasized that the establishment operates on a vegan basis. It is noteworthy that the establishment does not carry cash and imposes a fee for card transactions. Due to the establishment's inability to provide change and my lack of a card, I had to meticulously search for the exact cash amount to procure our desired items.

Google
Awesome bites is awesome! The Choco taco is to die for and awesome. We don't live close which is probably good for us because then we'd go broke supporting our chaco taco habit.

Yelp
My first trying something - gluten and dairy free it was ok they didn't have a lot of options to try like I saw in the pictures they were a little expensive, the service was nice and it's a small place they have a few chairs outside

Yelp
I had high hopes for this vegan bakery, but when I came in today there was barely any bakery items to try. I was expecting plentiful options to choose from, but what I saw was a section for ice cream, refrigerated items, and a tiny glass case of baked goods. The sweets they had was the brownies, one tiramisu cupcake, lemon blueberry "cheezecake" and tiny muffins. That's it! I follow Awesome Bites Co on Instagram and I often see the owner posting a wide variety of goodies. However, today 06/28/2025 they had more ice cream flavors to choose from than anything else. Disappointing. I got a sample of the lavender Earl Grey ice cream and fell in love with it. I ordered two scoops. It is creamy, subtle sweetness, tasted fully like Earl Grey tea by Harney and Sons brand with a lemony flavor with each bite. The scoops are small. The other flavors didn't seem too appealing especially the sunflower butter and olive oil one. I purchased the lemon blueberry cheezecake (as I wanted to compare it to Sinfull's). The cheezecake was an absolute scam: it was just moist cake with blueberry compote in the middle with vegan cream cheeze topping. I didn't even finish it because it was overly sweet and too moist that it began to stick to the roof of my mouth. Sinfull's taste more similar to traditional ones I remember from my childhood. The restaurant itself is small on the inside no indoor seating. It's decorated in a ton of rainbow items. It's a local business that's women and Asian owned. I wanted to love this place so much. The customer service was meh; the cashier wasn't interested in making small talk like they do at Sinfull's and it appeared as if it was strictly taking orders. If I plan on returning, I'll come for the lavender Earl Grey ice cream and stick with getting my baked goods from Sinfull Bakery since they have more options and abundance of items to choose from.

Yelp
Great selection and everything is natural and vegan and gluten free. I believe even the dyes are made from natural things. I will say the girl who helped me was real nice but a bit too mellow. I think the owner who when I came in to double check if everything was vegan was a bit snarky and seemed unhappy and defensive. I really didn't know and I wanted to ask because I was getting the items for my child's teacher and I had to confirm they were vegan. I mean are people who are vegan happy? I don't remember being especially happy when I was vegan. I was probably missing the hormones from the animal products or something. Either way I came there around 930am so not too early. Felt kind of blah about the experience but it's nice to have a vegan bakery with lots of options.

Yelp
Service was okay. Drip coffee was cold and expensive. A 3.5% card service fee is applied no matter how you pay (credit or debit) with no option to pay with cash. Was really looking forward to visiting this business during my trip. Definitely will not be back.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp and was so very excited. Our grandson is highly allergic to eggs, milk, peanuts, and tree nuts. He hasn't really got to experience going out somewhere and indulge in the sweet things because all desserts seem to have some kind of milk, egg or nuts in them. We got him the strawberry, vanilla and caramelized banana ice cream. He absolutely loved the banana. Of course he has been on a banana kick lately. Ha ha I also got some cookies and muffins and a cupcake for him to try later. Super excited for him. Thanks to the owners of this place. You made us feel safe while letting him try all the things... best part ....NO REACTION!!!

Yelp
I'm visiting from Los Angeles, CA to celebrate my bachelorette weekend and was excited to see that Houston caters to its vegan community. I ordered the Cookie Monster probiotic mylkshake. I have an appreciation for health supplements so I was thrilled when I see the probiotic ingredient to the mylkshake. Four Stars: The flavors were incredible, but the texture didn't quite have that classic milkshake consistency. I'd suggest skipping the added milk and using just the soft serve to achieve a thicker, creamier texture. That said, the customer service was exceptional! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Houston.

Yelp
Came here on a whim after eating at local pho. Nice bright atmosphere. Everything in this place is gluten free and dairy free. Staff was friendly offering free sampling of the ice cream. The caramelized banana ice cream was good, they have other flavors like chocolate with olive oil, earl grey, dark chocolate with raspberry. Decided to go with a caramelized apple donut. It was good, nice and moist with actual apple bits in the middle. The one donut was $5.03 with tax and gratuity. Was fun to try this place but nothing screamed at me to make me want to hurry up and return.

Yelp
Suuuuuper yummy. Sad I didn't know about this place before! Everything is so good and tastes super fresh :)

Yelp
I have to preface this with, I am not vegan, so my opinion may mean nothing to someone who is. I will pretty much eat anything. However, I had just finished eating, across the street, and was walking back to my place when I saw Awesome Bites Co. Admittedly, I was intrigued, so I went inside. I ordered a super muffin, and the husband and I each got some N'ice Cream. I thoroughly enjoyed the N'ice cream, mainly because I don't do lactose. I am sorry to say that I do not remember the flavor I got but the texture was just like regular ice cream, so that was a huge plus for me. Whatever flavor the husband got was more like a sorbet texture. It was still delicious, but the one I had was better. They will let you sample the flavors so you can decide for yourself. The shop is cute inside and although the staff is very quiet, they were still very nice. No pix on this trip, but I will definitely be back! They do custom cake orders, too, so that is really nice.

Yelp
It's a charming little shop with vegan products. Some of the ice cream flavors may sound unusual at first, but once you try them, you'll love them. I really enjoyed the Earl Grey lavender paired with strawberry lemon.

Yelp
I love this place and honestly should have written a review a long time ago. This is the best place to go period. But ESPECIALLY if you have any allergies or intolerances. As someone with celiac's disease, an egg intolerance, and an allergy to a common preservative, I feel 100% safe eating any thing that comes from this bakery. I've convinced my friends and family to try this place, because I'm obsessed and want everyone else to be too. The donuts, cake slices, cupcakes, cookies, and beanie bars are my favs. They are a bit pricey, but I kind of expect it due to the type of ingredients they'd have to use to remain allergen free. I've never had bad service from ANYONE at anytime, everyone is so kind and willing to answer questions. The owner, Jennifer is also so sweet! 10/10 recommend whether you have allergies or not!

Yelp
Our favorite spot for dairy free treats! My kiddo had a dairy sensitivity as a baby and awesome bites let us still enjoy delicious treats without having to worry about dairy or added food colors!!
google avatar

Iris L.

Yelp
Super cute and trendy spot. It's located near Sawyer Heights and in the same plaza as Mainly Lobster. I love how there's so many options from Gluten free sugar free, egg free, nut free to dairy free options. With people with food allergies these days, this place offers desserts for everyone. That makes me so happy to see because I do have people in my family that are diabetic and it's hard for them to find shops that cater to their needs. They had cookies, cupcakes, ice cream, coffee, teas...even to go options to take some goodies home with you. I tried their oatmeal chocolate chip muffins, which had no sugar added. It was nice and moist and delicious. It came in an order of two since they were mini. It was enough to satisfy my sweet craving without feeling guilty about eating them too.
google avatar

Alena B.

Yelp
Vegan and gluten free sweet treats. Taste is on the healthier side for some of the muffins but the vegan ice cream is delish! Service was very friendly and there wasn't a rush when I got there so I could take my time trying to figure out what I wanted. It's a small place for grab and go but I believe they have an outdoor seating area to hang out.
google avatar

Anne F.

Yelp
The food and drinks are fine....just really expensive. A milkshake was almost $20. I understand the upcharge to keep things vegan/dairy-free, but I feel like other bakeries do this at a lower price point. Unless you have serious food allergies (which this place caters to very well), I don't think this place is a must

Mariana M.

Yelp
This place is a rare find. They're items are good and makes great treats for allergy friendly and non allergy people. The only problem is that I only care for their cup cakes and donuts. Those are only on Wednesday or Friday. I wish they had donuts or cupcakes everyday or a few more times a day. I went in around 5:30 on a Friday for their cupcake day and the girl told me she thinks they are out. I've gone on other Friday's and they are out of cupcakes or Wednesday and they are out of donuts. Today they only had a donut cake for $10 a slice. I got it but didn't think it's worth it. Their cupcakes and donuts are better flavor and more moist in my opinion. Call before you go maybe?? I know I went in later but I wish they'd have another day for donuts/cupcakes because it's hard to make it there on a weekday any earlier.
google avatar

Joanne C.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place and read gluten free, plant base, and allergy friendly.....whaaaaa!?!? So, I gladly made my way in! Super small and cute inside but there is seating outside for you to enjoy your tasty treats! By far the mint chocolate and the olive oil chocolate were my favorite! Okay okay, I didn't try all the flavors but once I got to taste these two I quickly ordered a scoop of each. I am not a straight chocolate girl but for me to have loved the olive oil one says a lot! My sister ordered the lavender Earl grey and that was tasty also. They do have pints to go and I so wished I had purchased them because it isn't close to my house. They have the best gluten free donuts! Moist and delicious! We got the lemon raspberry and cookies n cream. My sister and I are both mom's and I just had a newborn, so we brought the donuts home to share with our husband's and completly forgot about them till the next day...haha mom brain! But even though we consumed it the next day it was still soft and moist! Have I sold you yet??!!?!? Definitely telling my friends to go and figuring out how I'm coming back with 2 kids under 2 because just that alone is a challenge =p
google avatar

Yelp
Although the shop is small, the flavors pack a punch. I love their flavors and the moistness of the cakes. The service is overall good. Nothing too notable. I'm not going to knock them for this but their tea was just tazo tea so don't get any coffee or tea here. You will be disappointed. You can literally do the same thing at home. Yes cakes - no coffee or tea.

Yelp
***REVIEW UPDATE*** In reply to the owner's reply: Yes, your store employees lack knowledge. I've been in several times hoping the next would be better than the last. Your employees don't wash their hands, handle money, then stick that same hand back on an ice cream scoop that is then falling back into the ice cream. At checkout, they flip that screen back and forth asking for customers to tip and sign then flip it back over with a bare or gloved hand and continue to type on it. Or they're using gloves for everything. As I said before, gloves don't work if you don't use them properly. No. My cell phone is not as nasty as the handle on your door, or your ice cream scoops. Neither is my home. I understand cross contamination and microbiology well enough to not make the simple mistakes that take place in your Awesome Bites establishment. (Clorox wipes on a cell phone is a thing and so is disinfecting your home, not wearing shoes past the door etc.) The fact the owner is defending their lack of hygiene in their store with the rebuttal of "I bet your house has germs," is pretty disgusting and I see practices start from the top down. Yes, anywhere is going to have germs. But anyone with half a brain would know not to eat off a sofa or the floor, and to clean and disinfect their kitchen. Lastly, to the owner, fix what's broken instead of defending it before the health department comes for you. Thanks. *****

Tique L.

Yelp
Great service. Eat outside only. Cookie was a hit. Ice cream was like eating medicine. Sample before you buy. I tried all but one, I don't eat vanilla. Great service. Reasonable prices. If ever again in Houston, I would go back only for cookies.
google avatar

Randie L.

Yelp
I've been buying these goodies before their storefront opened. I am very happy to be able to go to a permanent spot and buy treats. It is so rare for people like me to be able to enjoy ready-made nutritionally packed desserts inside a super cute store. They created a little spot out front to eat sweet treasures. My husband recently surprised me with several treats that he picked up on the way home from the airport. I ate my first fruit tart by Awesome Bites and it was heaven. Delicious.
google avatar

Roma B.

Yelp
Vegan and allergy free dessert shop. Came by at night after dinner. Got a cupcake and some ice cream. The cupcake was cold and hard, so I asked them for a fresh one. It seemed like a chore for them to get me another one. I also wasn't a huge fan of the taste, the oil in it tasted a bit old. The ice cream was okay as well.
google avatar

Yelp
Dessert is amazing! I am gluten and dairy free and I LOVE their cookies!! We drive to the store and I always let my kids get something while I pick up a dozen cookies. My kids love going! The ladies serving could be a tad bit kinder, but I know they are busy.

Yelp
I live on the east coast, so anytime I'm in Houston to visit loved ones I ALWAYS make sure to stop by Awesome Bites Co! I love their mission and am in awe of all of the allergy-friendly desserts they make (they look amazing AND taste amazing)! Some of my sister and I's favorites include: Chocotaco: This has only been available a few times the last 2 times I've been there. But wow-- the crunch and yummy chocolate plus ice cream is perfect! Gingerbread Loaf: I could probably eat 3 of these in one sitting. They're so moist and taste like Christmas in a mini pan :) Donuts: We get these on Wednesday! I loved the cinnamon roll ones, and my sister enjoyed the s'mores. We also got the cranberry orange and Homer donuts which were delicious and moist too! Lavender Earl Grey Ice Cream: I had this during the summer and it was a nice mix of lavender + earl grey :) I wish they had an East Coast location especially this time of year since walking into this location just makes me happy due to the fun colors! Give AwesomeBites a try--you don't be disappointed! The staff and owner are really friendly too :)

Deborah B.

Yelp
I love Awesome Bites Co! It's my favorite dessert shop. The chocolate cake and donuts are delicious. I wish they had weekly deals on their popular items. Anyways, this place is truly awesome!

Yelp
Such a cute shop! They have a variety of allergen friendly treats. We came here for the gluten free aspect. All items are GF. They had brownies, muffins, cookies, donuts, cupcakes, and ice cream! We got the donut cupcake and the double chocolate cookies. WOW the cookies are a must!!! crunchy on the outside and sooo gooey in the middle!!
google avatar

Sami L.

Yelp
PHENOMENAL! Full of flavor, but not too sweet. A very light sweet taste, coconut base. The waffle cone was crunchy, gluten-free and absolutely divine. Also love how they had a chocolate and a regular one. I highly recommend vanilla ice cream with the regular waffle cone and caramel banana ice cream and the chocolate waffle cone. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area for sure! Reasonably priced, easy parking, clean inside and fast friendly service.

Yelp
I've been going here for years after being diagnosed with Celiac four years ago. I can't say enough good things about this place! Customer service 10/10, sweets 10/10, snacks 10/10. Thanks to awesome bites I haven't had to go without a birthday cake for any of my recent birthdays. My mom (who does not have any allergies) is obsessed with they're beanie cookie cake and regularly requests me to get her some. I love the ice cream, particularly the lavender earl grey. Everything is delicious and the ambiance is A1. Every with or without allergies will find a treat they enjoy, absolutely go check them out! Thanks for the tart it is delicious!

Yelp
Love this store. The food is amazing. I am very thankful to have such a nice shop with so many vegan options close to my home. I also appreciate the specialty items that can be ordered. Parking is also very easy as they are in a nice spot with lots of parking. My personal favorite is the lavender earl grey ice cream.

Yelp
Not sure what voodoo magic they use here but you wouldn't even know it doesn't contain any of the top allergens in their goods. Wheat, eggs, diary are synonymous with baked goods and they don't use any of them and still crank out cookies, donuts, cupcakes, etc that would rival many other bakeries that do have them. My daughter is allergic to 7 different things including those common in baked goods so this restaurant is a god send (though I wish she ate less sugar). I am allergic to none but I have no issues going here with her because I enjoy it as much as she does. Our favorites are probably the cupcakes and cakes and then the donuts. We typically always have some ice pints stashed at home as well. Trick here is to let them thaw a bit before eating. My daughter loves the confetti cookies when available and we typically keep muffins around as a snack since they have some veggies in them. The cakes/cupcakes are so moist, I really don't know how they replicate that. This place is really one of a kind in Houston. I fee like I've tried all the bakeries in Houston that are sensitive to allergens and none come close to this place. I just wish it was a bit closer to where we lived.

Yelp
I'm kind of surprised the reviews for this place are so good. I was in line for ages even though there was only one person ahead of me. The counter worker was just moving at the speed of a snail. They had two people working the front and instead of helping me the other girl just went to the back and all of that was annoying but fine- they're young and it was a Friday- whatever. But the cherry on top was when after my dog ate some of my ice cream I called to check the ingredients because they don't have them listed online and I wanted to make sure my dog wouldn't die and the person who answered was either an idiot or a dick because she snapped 'Im not going to give you the recipe!' Ummm WHAT? Then after I told her my situation and repeated that I just needed an ingredient list, she named two ingredients- lavender and earl grey- for the * Lavender and earl grey ice cream*- she then asked an in person customer what she could get for them. Mid conversation. But also where was that hustle when I was there I was so shook I just hung up so I could start googling the likelihood of my dog eating something bad for her (she's fine!) but it still put a bad taste in my mouth- pun intended- about this place All of this is bad enough but I kind of read through the other reviews and found multiple instances of bullying from the owner that are honestly disgusting. People have posted valid concerns and/or their experiences and they came in with some passive aggressive caps and saucy remarks. There are too many small businesses who value kindness to support to be supportive of this one.

Yelp
Unable to get refund for a dairy free chai latte with old oat milk. Expensive prices and the drinks are not as fresh.

Yelp
Awesome Bites Co. is great for offering allergy-friendly and diet-friendly options for those that have issues with conventional pastries and desserts. While I'm not a regular, I do have some friends that visit often and they really appreciate it. It's conveniently located close to Downtown, which makes it accessible to all areas around Houston and it's just a 5 minute walk from the nearest METRO bus stop. I have sampled some of the desserts there and they are delicious. I hope to see this business continue thriving.

Yelp
In SoCal, there's tons of options for dairy-free, and I was worried I'd have to make a cake myself at home. Thank goodness a place like this exists in Houston! This was exactly what I needed for my little one's 2nd birthday. We got an Chocolate & Vanilla ice cream cake, which is made from a coconut base. It was so pretty and delicious! We've also tried their beanie bars and super muffins. The price is a little up there but the quality is there. With all the food allergies in kids these days, this place is a diamond in the rough. Thank you for existing so our kids and all of those with food allergies can eat what everyone else eats for once / on their birthdays at the very least! I would for sure be back more often if it were closer.

Yelp
Yummy! Stopped by to pick up some desserts for a work party where some of my coworkers are allergic to dairy and gluten. Bought the doughnuts (Choco Mummy, Pumpkin Spice), dream bars and chocolate chip cookies. Oh my gosh! They were delish! And so moist! My co workers loved and appreciated that they were allergy free. The staff was so helpful at the store as well. Helped me make selections. And very clean and sanitary. Would definitely com back.

Yelp
Oh my I've found me a new bakery. I was going to the nail spa and saw this place and of course I has to stop in. I'm not vegan but I love pastries and normal pastries will instantly put 10 lbs on me so i do seek more of healthier pastries. First off the staff was fabulous, friendly and knowledgeable. Secondly they offer samples. I came in to get one pastry and walked out with: 1.Lemon blueberry muffin perfect taste and size. Just enough to clear my sweet craves. 2. Salted caramel brownie. Well unfortunately once I got home it appeared to be just a plain brownie and not the salted caramel but it was still good. I will go back to get the salted caramel. 3. Chia pudding. I haven't tasted it yet but it looks delicious. 4. Lavender Earl Grey ice cream. I tasted it in the store and couldn't not leave it behind. It taste soooooo good.

Yelp
Unfortunately my bad food experiences have continued even in the dessert department. The ice cream shop is super cute small and straight to the point. Had high hopes but it didn't deliver. No bananas for the splits. The 3 cookies were uninspired. The flavors of the ice cream were bland, 3 of the 8 ice creams we got weren't winners. Very overly priced for the serving size for the serving size. Even with being made from scratch and in house you should still be able to enjoy the natural flavors. Overall I wouldn't return as I'm used to a more flavorful healthier tho ice cream type of shop.

Yelp
For those who have strict diet, this bakery is for you. They have a variety of options; brownies, cookies, ice cream, muffins, cake, milkshake, etc. I got their special Easter cake with strawberry filling. This cake wasn't for me. Wasting food isn't an option for us, so we had to power through it. There was no taste. Felt like I was eating a dry dry cake. Only good thing was the icing. The shop is cute and clean. The people behind the register are absolutely helpful too.

Yelp
I had read in "The Leader" (an area publication, that there was a new vegan bakery. I went to Sawyer Yards to try it. The service was great the baked flavourful, with lots of choices. The prices are what you would expect from a nice bakery there is tonnes of parking z a first choice in the area

Yelp
SO OBSESSED. I'm gluten and dairy free due to allergies and I was like a kid in a candy store being able to walk in and eat EVERYTHING in this bakery! I loved all of their options from their milkshakes, ice creams (lavender earl grey was the best), cake and more. I wish I wasn't visiting from Dallas and wish there was an Awesome bites up there near me! Definitely a go to for those with allergies.

Yelp
SO delicious for allergy friendly options! My niece's birthday cake was from here due to a dairy allergy (an ice cream cake-- made with coconut based ice cream) -- it was beautiful AND tasty. The ice cream had a smooth coconut flavor, and the thin chocolate cake layer at the bottom was moist & delicious

Yelp
As someone who has many kinds of food allergies but likes desserts and loves ice cream Awesome Bites is like heaven to me. When I step into the store I can't decide what to buy and eat first. I've never had anything that I didn't love for here. What saddens me is the fact that I live in Minnesota and can only get here a few times a year when I come to spend time with our kids and grandkids. Keep up the great work!!!!

Yelp
Literally my FAVORITE PLACE for allergy-friendly sweets, treats, coffee and tea. All of their products are free of the Top 8 Allergens and made with only the best, high quality ingredients. I typically visit once a week for their specials like Donut Wednesday, Cookie Thursday, Cupcake Friday and N'ice cream (dairy-free) Saturday. The staff is as sweet as the items they serve. I've had the pleasure of engaging with the owner. She is very knowledgeable about her products and can be found (most days) working her tail off in the back to ensure that her customers receive fresh and beautiful items. Subscribe to their newsletter and follow them on IG & FB to stay informed of Awesome Bites Co. Weekly specials!!
