"Axiom Kitchen Smoked Meats & BBQ is a family-run pop-up offering a unique take on Texas-style barbecue. The husband-and-wife team, Ian and Qiana Mafnas, run the operation with their children, serving smoked beef ribs, brisket, and tri-tip, all finished with a sear on a flat top. The pop-up features a variety of sides and sauces developed by Qiana, including mac and cheese, fried corn, and coleslaw with coconut milk. The Mafnas family aims to eventually open a brick-and-mortar location, inspired by the success of other Texan-style barbecue joints in California." - Brian Addison
