Aya was nothing short of exceptional. While I typically eat vegetarian and value having good veggie options on the menu (of which there were a few at Aya), I must say I opted for the meat options in my trip and they were simply stunning. I ordered a garlic and spice marinated boneless baby chicken with rice, and I genuinely couldn't believe how juicy and flavourful the chicken was. Even thinking about the dish now is making my mouth water, the marination and seasoning was done to perfection, and pairing the chicken with the sumac onions, some of the fluffy rice and maybe some sauces, all of those components mixed together yielded one of the tastiest bites of chicken you can get. I will also give big bonus points to the hummus and ful medammas, which were beautifully smooth and also seasoned perfectly. Service was also great, we came without a booking and were seen right away, sat down, ordered and received our food not too long after. To sum up Aya in one word, I would say balance. Truly, their flavours in each and every dish we tried were balanced perfectly and there was not a negative anywhere in our meal. Highly highly recommend!

We asked our waiter to recommend a selection of starters and mains for us and were very pleased with the tasty and well presented assortment. You are encouraged to bring your own alcoholic beverages and they provide bottled water. No corkage is added, making the coat of the meal extremely reasonable. We had a lovely night.

We have been regular customers since Aya opened and it remains our favourite restaurant. Over time whilst obviously there have been price rises, the excellent quality and taste of the food has not changed. Portion sizes are generous and food is freshly cooked to order, the meze dishes and grilled meats are all delicious and the mint tea is wonderful! It’s always a pleasure to chat to the owners and to Ben who is really friendly and always looks after us so well.

We visited Aya Lebanese Cuisine in 4 different branches and to say the least we were delighted by how authentic the food tastes there. As a Lebanese, it is almost impossible to find something that tastes like home but at Aya, the food was on point! Their shish tawouk, warak enab, cheese rekakat, hummus, and fatoush were all absolute must-tries. Highly recommended.

Google
Lovely restaurant with delicious Lebanese food. Staff is friendly and you can bring in your own drinks/alcohol. The only criticism is that they could have been more generous with the salad and garnish served with the grill! Overall a very good restaurant.

I think the food here is decent and it saved me hosting people last-minute, which is great. Definitely overpriced for Lebanese food when getting takeaway. Worked out to be >£200 for 5 adults which is dining-in prices. Think that would need to come down for me to order there again.

Delicious food, highly recommend the slow cooked lamb shank and the humous beiruti and the Ata mixed grill. Service was impeccable and staff were lovely.

Yelp
Located a short walk from South Wimbledon underground station, this is a deceptively large restaurant serving authentic Lebanese cuisine. The interior is a modern, stripped back take on middle eastern decor, but with traditional imported wooden furniture. There's a small seating area the front and a larger area behind the kitchen. The food is familiar Lebanese cuisine with hot and cold mezze for around £5, from which you could construct a satisfying meal, with grilled and roasted meats, fish and stews for the mains. We chose the vegetarian menu for two at £35, which provided a choice of 7 starters, followed by moussaka and rice. We had baklava to finish. It was a great way to introduce my dining companion to this type of food and everything was wonderfully tasty. There's a similar non-vegetarian menu for £35 as well. They're not licensed but you can bring your own wine, and they don't charge corkage. Service was polite and efficient, and they waited until we had finished the starters before bringing the main course, so it felt unhurried. The bright decor means it doesn't really tick the box for a romantic evening, but it is a good choice for groups or families.

Yelp
What a fab place! Excellent hospitality, fantastic service! Love it love it! Would highly recommend this to locals and visitors alike. We had fish and a vegetarian dish, both were very well thought out. And for dessert - coffee and baklava!

Yelp
Stumbled upon this place as it was the nearest labenese/Turkish REALLY pleased! Loved the fattoush hummus mixed grill and bakhlawa and araiz! Went with a party of 10 people at 10:30 pm and the food was amazing!!!! Service was super quick and courteous!

Yelp
Very tasty food; great prices and excellent service. As close as you'll get to the Middle East in Wimbledon. Abdullah, the main cook, has good taste in Lebanese music with respect to traditions of Fairouz and Marcel Khalife - and he knows the Beirut pop beats of Nancy Ajram as well. A respectable establishment that I shall frequent from this day onwards. My standards with Lebanese food are high, and Aya has met the very highest in food quality. The only downside is that this outlet of Aya is a small "hole-in-the-wall" concept, and has a few small tables. Better for takeaway.

Yelp
Delicious, authentic and wonderfully prepared. Love Lebanese cuisine! You won't be disapointed with Aya which has several locations in UK.

Yelp
I have been to this place 3 times in the evening which is always humming with a busy atmosphere, today Friday I went for lunch. They have a lunch time menu which is good value at £6.95 for a meze. My Bestie had the shawarma meal consisting of lamb, Salad, Rice and hummus. The lamb shawarma had a fab taste, full of flavour. It was very quiet somewhat different to the evenings which kind of left the ambience a little flat. The decor is ok, service good.

Yelp
Aya is an authentic Lebanese experience. The chicken and meat Touk's are the best I have eaten. Beats the Lebanese places on Edgeware Road. Delicious!

Yelp
Aya is a non-licensed Lebanese, deceptively large as there is space at the back, but, always very busy. Discovered that it is best to call them on the day to doubly confirm your reservation as our confirmed reservation was denied when we arrived. They said they were fully booked. After some heated discussions we were offered a table by the window but we refused it as was too small and time limited. Shortly after we decided to take away, another group of 4 arrived, with a booking, only to receive identical treatment - booking denied and offered the same small table! When we have managed to eat there we do love the food and ambiance - come on guys and sort out your reservation system.
