The 38 Best Restaurants in Mumbai, India | Eater

"A late night of drinking in Mumbai has to end with a customary roll at one of the city’s Mughlai or Punjabi restaurants. Ayub’s is an old-timer in the city, having served billionaires and students in equal measure. Get a plate of mutton baida roti (bread stuffed with eggs and minced lamb), paneer tikka roll (cottage cheese wrapped inside pillowy roomali roti), and a side plate of bhurji (hard-curd scrambled eggs tossed with masalas). Everything pairs well with a bottle of Coke." - Sumedh Natu

Good food but overpriced. Loved the chicken Baida roti and mutton seekh kebab. But the rates felt very high for a small shop with inadequate/shared seating where people often eat standing on the roadside. 350 for 2 Kebabs! A filling meal for 2 people will cost ~1500+. They also do not give proper GST bills and give random paper chits.

Aayub Hotel is a great place for delicious food. Their malai kalimiri chicken egg roll is a must-try—it's truly unique and flavorful! Kebabs were yummy.Plus, it’s super convenient because you can choose to dine inside or get car service right where you park.

Best rolls ever I had in Mumbai but its too crowdy even at 1am. The good thing is do serve food in the car as drive in service which makes it convenient. Highly recommended 👌

The famous Ayubs at Kala Ghoda. Waiting time here can go upto an hour on weekends but the wait is worth it. Parking can be an issue but if you go late beyond 12am then you may get a spot. Food is excellent. The chicken malai kathi rolls are worth it. The mutton seekh is also good. And definitely try the baida roti. The chicken drumsticks are good too. Slightly overpriced but I think it's worth the hype. Definitely going here again. And again.

This is street food at its best in south Mumbai. With family and friends, take your car because the bonnet acts as a table top. Order kababs, baida/egg roti, chicken/mutton keema, etc. Avoid weekends if you are looking for a leisurely dinner. Have been a frequent diner here, experienced some bad days too, maybe the regular chefs were absent. But will keep visiting.

On the positive side, the sitting area was hygienic, and the sliced onions and chutney provided a nice touch. However, I felt that Ayub's is somewhat overhyped and offers limited quantity for the price point. I would recommend Ayub's if you're specifically in the mood for rolls, but keep in mind that there might be better options available in terms of taste and value for money.

Place for excellent rolls in Mumbai Tried the sheekh roll, egg roll and chicken tikka roll. It was awesome and the spicy chutney had a nice kick. This place is no frill place which is open late in the night

A 4bench steel seating similar to railway station benches. The place was clean and the open kitchen was equally hygienic. A shop at crossroad with parking in front of it, which was full. The food was good and the cost is average. They serve it fresh and spicy, so you have to wait for the food.
