"Originally from Northern China, Xin Gan, who happens to be married to the chef of Parapluie, runs this delightful French-Asian fusion place with a simple neo-bistro decor (stone walls, dark wood tables and chairs). Single-handed in the kitchen, the chef skilfully combines spices, tofu and kimchi with high-quality seasonal French ingredients, to compose dishes such as rack of pork, chimichurri, courgette cream and green curry, accompanied by a dash of creamy hummus and multi-coloured carrot ribbons tossed in an orange vinaigrette – delicious!" - Michelin Inspector

Words can not describe how good this experience was. The menu special for Monday night was a "Mystery" four course meal. I must confess I was a little apprehensive about taking a chance on dinner without knowing what we were ordering, but I was pleasantly impressed with every course presented. The food was prepared perfectly and the flavors nothing short of exceptional. We even trusted our host with the wine selection to go with our meal. Book this restaurant with confidence.

Deliciously creative. Both visually & tastefully appealing. Also helps to have amazing service by Victoria who suggested some great wines to pair with our plats. This would be our go to “date night” restaurant if we lived in Dijon. Treat yourself to this experience, you deserve it.

Amazing little place. All the food was exceptional, nothing too fancy, but the flavors just sang. The gaspacho was the best I had in my life. Wines suggestions were also much appreciated. A lunch for 23Eur is a bargain with 3 entrees and a main

Quite extraordinary flavors at Azerole! The evening we dined here, the female chef/owner brought in components from several cuisines including Japanese, the Levant, France, Italy and China. For dinner, she does a fixed price offering for 39€: amuse-bouche trio, then two dishes (seafood and meat) plus dessert. Vegetarian option available with prior request. Each dish had layers of incredible flavors. The server was professional and very nice. The only downside to the evening was the speed of dish delivery; we sat for some time between dishes. Being an American living in France, I have come to accept this is more common than not and it usually doesn’t bother us. However our other American friends vacationing complained. I would like to give 5 stars but the dish delays means 4. Very good price per value! Overall, if you don’t mind a slightly longer dinner, I highly suggest Azerole. I say come with friends and indulge in ravenous conversation during your meal! Unfortunately, only took a few photos as I was absorbed in the flavors. Note the per person spend amount includes wine.

Nice place downtown with thoughtful dishes and a great wine selection. I would give 5 stars if not for the one hour wait for the first course, cold dish. Kudos to the very kind and smiling waitress but good dishes must be related to the time in order to avoid unnecessary negative comments.

Every course was exceptional flavors, textures and colors. Our waiter was very professional and friendly. The tables/restaurante/toilets are meticulously clean. The dinner is a fixed 4 course and it seems it changes weekly as they source fresh local ingredients. Our menu started with a trio of amuse bouche, a fish dish, a lamb dish, the optional cheese plate, and a chocolate mousse dessert.

I can highly recommend this place. They are super friendly, serve food later than almost all other places around, and have great food (much lighter than a lot of the other French food you get around). They were also very knowledgeable about gluten free options and made a whole set of starters all custom for my wife who is celiac. They had a very good white wine, that they especially decanted for us, even though we only asked for one glass. I wasn't a big fan of the local pinot noir they had by the glass (quite tanniny). The person that runs the place is also from Canada and therefore speaks perfect English.

I just had an amazing experience with my GF at azerole, food was magnificent and delicious. Service was perfect, we had a wonderful moment. If you’re going to Dijon then you have to try it since it is in the downtown.
