挂羊头卖狗肉,别来。Not for Chinese. Other Chinese people, please forget you know Chinese and ignore all dish names in Chinese because they are NOT what you expect. For example 夫妻肺片(normally a cold dish soaked in hot chili oil) is a boring stir fry here. Another dish had a similar problem but I don’t remember what it was. Just imagine the best thing in a dish is the cilantro on top….. There was one time I asked for take out they asked me to wait 40 min to pick up and when I showed up they told me I got here too late they need to re-cook it and I have to wait. The portion of poke bowl is very small. Just total disappointment every single time I came here. I don’t know how they managed that. I have absolutely no idea why people speak highly of this place.

Had a good lunch here today. I've had several good meals here, but I don't feel comfortable yet giving them a 5 for the food (even though I want to) because there's always something off. Not enough to ruin the meal, just a little bit not right. Example today: I started with the sunshine roll and it was some of the best sushi ever. The shrimp in it had the perfect crunch and flavor. The cream cheese and scallions went great with the shrimp. I followed with hot and sour soup served hot (temperature) and hot (spicy). It might be too spicy for some but just right to me. I asked my server, who was wonderful BTW, for a description of the crispy Thai chicken that I eventually ordered as my meal. She said it was a chicken breast, panko breaded, and fried. I like white meat chicken, so it sounded good. When it arrived, there was no white meat chicken... all dark meat. It was still good but not what was advertised. Keep trying, Lucy Ho, you're doing a lot of things right... just work on a few details.

The food used to be very good. The past few visits, I have noticed the food has gone downhill. I ordered sushi, hot and sour soup, and a house salad. The sushi was very dry. The shrimp in it was rubbery and seemed old. The salad was terrible. The lettuce was brown and not fit to eat. The soup was so hot I could not eat it. It was never burn-your-stomach-lining hot before. It may have been from the day before. I like spicy food, but it was beyond anything I could tolerate. Maybe you get better food if you dine in.

We had a great experience here for our annual Christmas Eve dinner. The service was fast, and the waiter gave us a wonderful suggestion. He was spot on as what he suggested was the amazing. The food was delicious, and the portions are huge.

When on vacation, one doesn't want just to go out for dinner, one wants an experience. And that's what my family received!!! Tuna tar tar, red dragon roll, sweet and sour bento box, seared yellowtail roll, every single menu option and drink option was beyond expectations. Stephanie was out waitress, but as soon as we walked in, we were met by Wayne, an imposing figure, all smiles and very welcoming!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service more than most places. If you are in Tallahassee, and you need sushi, this place will not disappoint!!! Job well done across the board! Thank you so much!!!!

Google
This is a Tallahassee treasure. The food is always great. We dined in for lunch for about $15 a person. The bento boxes called our names. LOTS of food that was delicious! There were few patrons; it was about 2:00 pm. The service was on point. The restaurant is clean with a very nice casual atmosphere.

First time guests - absolutely pleased with our visit to Azu! Wonderful experience from the moment we walked up to the restaurant! The door was opened by the manager, and we were greeted with a warm and welcoming smile! Chris, our server walked up to our table with an enthusiastic energy, excited to walk through the menu with us as well as list his recommendations, with details of why he recommends them; described what to expect down to the pros and cons to options available (sodium/sugar levels) WOW! I cannot even begin to express how refreshing it is to come to a restaurant and to have this level of care from start to finish! We are customers for life! Ordered gluten free options here. Food is fresh and amazing and tastes so good. I can’t wait to go back. Been twice and haven’t been glutenized. Love when I find a place that won’t make me sick. Staff are very kind and great service. Will be back often.

Yelp
We were out and about in Tally late yesterday afternoon on Apalachee Pkwy. Decided we'd grab some dinner in town. I remembered seeing reviews on Lucy Ho's AZU as being a good Asian restaurant. Last time we'd eaten in one of her restaurants was likely in the Food Court in Governors Square back in the hay day of Lucy's restaurants. We'd also enjoyed meals at her Bamboo Garden off of Monroe Street many years ago. Enough history. We entered Azu just after 4pm. One other diner in the room. We were seated in a booth (wood bench style with no cushions). First impression - the place is dark and dreary and generally tired. Our server came to the table and we ordered a couple of $5 Kirin beers. They're now produced in Golden CO vs Japan. After looking at Yelp reviews we ordered the scallion pancake and a spicy tuna roll for starters. The pancake was delicious - and the curry dipping sauce was as well. The tuna roll was tasty as well. We had no idea what to order for entrees and asked our server for suggestions. We settled on pork fried rice and honey chicken. My wife enjoyed the fried rice - rice had nice texture and wasn't overcooked. It was a bit bland but some soy sauce gave it a punch. Generous portion that went home with us afterwards. My honey chicken was tasty, but nothing special. Generous portion of batter fried chicken hunks. I ordered it with a side of broccoli instead of rice. We paid our check which was $80 including tip. I rate Azu a 3 1/2 star. If we have the opportunity to dine there again, I'd stick to appetizers and sushi.

Yelp
Having visited Tallahassee several times, I've always been a bit disappointed at the lack of Asian restaurants in the city. But this time around, I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this place. It might be a very nondescript strip mall, but the inside of the restaurant was quite well decorated and much larger than I expected. The servers are super friendly and service was quite efficient. For dinner, I got the Japanese Pork Katsu. I was quite impressed by the portion size. Loved the salad and Hot and Sour Soup that came at the beginning. The Katsu itself was nice and crispy on the outside while being tender on the inside. Loved the cabbage salad with Japanese Mayo dressing on the side, which helps to balance out the richness of the meat. All in all, a very welcome Asian restaurant in Tallahassee that I would gladly come visit again :)

Yelp
I came to visit my family and in-laws for the holidays, and my father-in-law suggested that we come here for dim sum. I grew up in Tallahassee and had never been aware of a place that served dim sum here. Being somewhat of a food snob and having lived in NYC, I had low expectations for the dim sum in Tally. We came on a Saturday morning, around 12:30 pm and were able to get immediately seated for a table of 6. We ordered the soup dumplings, wontons, red bean pancake, shrimp rice rolls, pork belly buns, the shao mai, and the spare rib in bean sauce. I honestly was pleasantly surprised by how everything tasted. The shrimp rice rolls were uniquely chewy (something I didn't expect and tasted really good), and the wontons, pork belly buns, shoo mai, black bean pork were all flavorful. The only critique I have is that the soup dumplings were really hard to eat intact (i.e. the dumpling kept falling apart and was stuck to the outside paper) so you ended up losing soup before being able to eat it. The service was exceptional, we had a great waitress who was knowledgable about what to order and extremely accommodating to my high maintenance parents. If you're craving dim sum, I would recommend coming here on Saturday for lunch! They also serve other lunch items such as sushi.

Yelp
Great food! Friendly service! Chill vibe! My toddler and I were road trippin and looking for something close to the hotel. She lives lo mein, so I decided on AZU. Fahter, our server, was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. The food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. We'll definitely be returning each time we're passing through Tallahassee

Yelp
I've been to Masa and Little Masa, so I wanted to try out this place and it exceeded my expectations! The bento box and dim sum lunch options were so delicious and a reasonable price. I got the chicken and broccoli with mushrooms, egg custard, scallion pancakes, and pork dumplings. I left full and still had leftovers. The service was top notch and we had multiple people check on us throughout to ensure our food was good. The ambiance was warm and modern, but cozy. We will be back and we highly recommend.

Yelp
I come here every month for either their dim sum on Saturdays or their buffet on Sundays. Both are amazing and very well priced! The food is always delicious and the service is attentive. The buffet includes several different pieces of sushi as well as all kinds of entrees including general tsao's chicken and honey chicken (my favorites). It is honestly some of the best Chinese in Tallahassee and the best bang for your buck.

Yelp
How did I forget to review this place? As a Celiac and someone married to an Asian-American, the food I miss the most since my diagnosis is Asian foods of all kinds. While on vacation in Florida, I found Azu Lucy Ho's, which has a separate gluten-free menu. They also provide gluten-free tamari. As far as the gluten-free food, while I thought the house salad was a rip-off at $6, I liked the $18 Mongolian beef and the $21 Yu-Shang Triple. The scallops were HUGE too. While the regular menu is much larger, I was just happy to get some Chinese-American food for once. I'd love it if they could make a gluten-free green onion pancake because I was jealous of the normal one my husband ordered. The owner was also a totally chill guy and very personable. Overall, if you're a Celiac, I definitely recommend this place. Visited: May 2024

Yelp
I remember this restaurant well. It was either late September or early October when I went to AZU Lucy Ho's. I had been at Costco beforehand and I was recovering from a cold. I felt like having something light and warm, and well, this was close by and I had heard good things. Have to tell you I nearly missed this place. It's in a nondescript shopping center and there are many businesses there that unless you know what you're looking for, this is easy to miss. For reference, this is the final business in the shopping center. Anyway, went in on a weekend during lunch time, and for the most part, it was full of families eating there. I guess this is a locals' spot. At least that's the impression I got as some of the waitresses seemed to be quite personable with their clients. The staff was quite nice and they gave me a variety of menus. Sushi menu, dim sum menu, lunch menu, oh my! Good thing I don't have issues making decisions, more so when I'm sick. I wound up with steamed pork buns, a miso soup, and a bento box full of sushi. Ended up with leftovers and was super happy with everything, so much so that I wish my first experience there I had been healthy. I felt I would've appreciated the flavors more. It's hard to fully enjoy a meal when you're sick.

Yelp
Walked in on a Friday night and found out we were a day too early for dimsum (Only Saturdays 11am - 3pm) but I knew they had sushi on the menu so wasn't too concerned. Our sushi & sashimi fulfilled our cravings - the fish-to-rice ratio was just right & the sashimi appetizer was a nice deal for the # of pieces you get. The stir-fried eggplant and General Taos chicken entrees were very generously size portions (ideal for sharing). Both were good except the beans that accompanied the chicken were too salty. Ambiance is nice & service was good except one individual (not our regular server) who seemed to have an attitude when we requested extra rice & she also gave us mismatched containers for our leftovers. I'm not really sure why she stepped in to assist when she didn't seem to know what she was doing & our regular server was already attentive to our needs. Overall, I recommend Azu. If I were a local, I would be back to try their Saturday Dim Sum & Sunday buffet: Dim Sum - Only Saturdays 11am - 3pm Buffet Brunch - Only Sundays 10:30am - 2:30pm

Yelp
Awesome Lunch Today, a coworker suggested we try Asian fusion cuisine for lunch, so we dined at Azu Lucy Ho's in Tallahassee today for lunch and the food and service exceeded my expectations. We were quickly seated, and the server arrived at the table within one minute. The server was very friendly, patient, and knowledgeable of the menu as my coworker asked a lot of questions about the menu items seasoning and spice. What she did not know, she asked the kitchen staff for clarification. I ordered the lunch Sesame Chicken Bento Box served with an eggroll, vegetable lo mein, fried rice, and dish of the day (pork dumpling). I am not a fan of dumpling, so the server allowed a substitution for another egg roll at no additional charge. Amazingly surprised with the portion size of the protein in the Bento Box (I had a Bento Box at other restaurants and the portion were a lot smaller). The food was cooked to order and served piping hot. Everything tasted so fresh and prepared perfectly. The sesame chicken was perfectly cooked, the chicken was crispy and tender. With every bite of the chicken, I could take the sweet and savory sauce. It was so GOOD. The egg roll was deep fried to perfection, crispy and full of flavor. The fried rice and the lo mein also tasted very good. Azu Lucy Ho's 3220 Apalachee Pkwy Tallahassee, FL 32311

Yelp
Azu Lucy Ho's: A Hidden Gem Worth Every Bite Listen, if you're into cute vibes and amazing food, Azu Lucy Ho's is the spot. This little hidden gem had me seated quicker than I could say, "Salt and pepper shrimp bento box, please!" For $14 at lunch, you get a lot of food. And let me tell you my bento box was love at first bite. The shrimp? Fried to absolute perfection crispy, flavorful, and giving main-character energy. The rest of the box was a delightful ensemble that just hit all the right notes. The waiter? Sweet and helpful, like the kind of person you'd want to take advice from about everything on the menu. The vibe is cute, the portions are generous, the prices are chef-approved, and I'm already planning my next visit. If you haven't been yet, go ahead and put this place on your radar. You'll thank me later. So good I forgot to take pictures

Yelp
Great place to eat and such friendly staff!!! It's easy to get to and parking is plentiful.

Yelp
We ordered a few things, chicken lowmein, pork & shrimp rice, dumplings, and honey chicken. It was better than most of the Chinese restaurants I've tried in Tally, but a new 2nd to our favorite in Tally.

Yelp
AZU Lucy Ho's offers a delightful fusion of Asian flavors with impeccable service and a warm ambiance, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

Yelp
Food is just right the spices are perfect services better some days and other days but most of the time it's good parking is fair restaurants clean. I enjoy having fried rice and fried vegetables and shrimp and we take it home just because we like to bring it home and sit at our own table Seating inside the restaurant is nice I don't know if it's every Sunday, but 1 o'clock they start a buffet that is just to die for he couldn't believe all the food that's there and all the choices that's there and even sushi is there it's incredible the amount I think it's $21 or something like that Try a little bit of everything that you have to eat before it's all they prepared. I think you have booze

Yelp
This place has slowly turned into hot garbage if ordered to go. The Sunday buffet must pay the bills. The takeout. -The fried dishes in sauce taste like any local $7 strip mall Chinese place. Soggy. Bland. Weird chicken. The sushi used to be good. Now it sucks. The tuna and salmon tasted old and stringy. Asked twice for extra wasabi. Like every time. For two $15 rolls. I've gotten extra wasabi 2 times in 2 years. Good news is. In done with this nasty ass place. Fooled one too many times. Gross. Old. Run into the ground. They don't care about to go orders and give you a crappy look when you leave small tip for handing you a to go bag that's not correct.

Mark O.

Yelp
I did takeout of fried rice and Kung Pao Chicken. It was ready when promised with no hassles. (My only complaint is that there was no fork included.) Both dishes were excellent with the chicken having a decided kick.

Amanda C.

Yelp
Food is very good and you get alot on your plate for the price. The ambiance is nice and the service was great.

Yelp
Good food, nice atmosphere but slow coming out from the kitchen. In a strip center and is the east end unit.
google avatar

Michelle C.

Yelp
We were visiting the area and decided to eat dinner here based on reviews. We arrived about an hour before closing, but don't recommend that you come close to closing as wait staff spend their time shutting down, cleaning tables and turning over chairs. We enjoyed our appetizers but didn't the main meals. We got a California roll and pork dumplings, both were good. I had kung pow chicken and it was swimming in sauce. I asked for spicy and white rice. There was no spice and waiter brought out white rice after being reminded, but very small portion of rice in comparison to the meal. I guess I prefer more rice with separate plate yo mix rice and meat. Portions were large.

Yelp
In Tallahassee for a XC race and searching yelp for some great reviews. Portions were huge and very flavorful. We tried many dishes while we were there: sweet potato sushi no cream cheese, veggie roll, tofu lo mein, vegetable fried rice, two mushroom braised tofu (delicious), vegetable egg roll, seaweed salad and the smoke calamari salad. Stayed busy but service was quick. Bringing home leftovers to central FL

Macie C.

Yelp
Best Chinese cuisine in town! The chicken is great, never any chewy pieces. I can't get enough of their crab Rangoon.

Mark S.

Yelp
My Thai fried was pretty good. My wife's tilapia left something to be desired. Overall not bad though.

Sara B.

Yelp
My experience was a five and starts with the friendly host that smiles and has humor. The wait time was normal and the egg rolls were some of the best. I thought the wonton soup could had 3 wontons instead of 2, however it was some of the best I have enjoyed. For me it was seasoned perfectly. While restaurants are getting pricey the amount of food vs price was also to our satisfaction.

Shae D.

Yelp
We have visited Azu many times over the years, we were back in Talky for work and came by. Man, things have changed- what happened? Very disappointed. Could not eat the octopus appetizer because it was over salted. My Chirasi had tuna that tasted like a refrigerator smells, and the eel was so overcooked it was mushy. Octopus was too tough to eat. Tonkatsu dish for the first visit ever, was overcooked, dry and very fatty. The orange chicken was good, but sadly that was it. Off our list. Oh, Server was excellent and efficient.

Yelp
You can never miss by choosing to go to Lucy Ho's. One of the best Asian restaurants in the city, with amazing food, unmatched service and an atmosphere that you can appreciate either in a date night, business meeting or family meal. Love the buffet on Sunday's and the portions are more than generous.

Marie C.

Yelp
The food, drinks and desserts are absolutely amazing. The prices of everything is extremely reasonable and the staff is friendly!

Yelp
This used to be our go-to place for Asian in Tallahassee. (One of our daughters, who has lived in New York City for 20 years even said that it is the best Asian food she's ever had.) Alas, no more. The food may continue to be great, but our recent experience, after a 40 minute wait, resulted in no food served. This was our first visit since Florida's department of Food and Sanitation, that regulates restaurants, provided a highly negative "advisory" several months ago about sanitation violations at this restaurant. Perhaps the problem was just that we were seated at a "totally ignored" table. We knew there was problem when my wife's order of a glass of Pinot Grigio literally took over 40 minutes never to be fulfilled, while everyone around us, including those who arrived significantly after us were being served their food. We had no choice but to walk out after 40 minutes of non-service. It was my wife's birthday. Not the kind of experience we would care to remember, but she pointed out that at least she'll have a story to share with all her friends.

Yelp
Had dinner for the first time here with friends. One of those is a very picky eater when it comes to Chinese restaurants. We decided to eat family style (shared a number of entree 's) and no one was the least bit disappointed. The meal started with Tuna Sashimi. The fish and the wasabi were excellent. Then came the Hot & Sour, Miso Soup and Seaweed Salad. Everyone is still pleased. For main dishes we ordered Soy Ginger Cod with Bok Choy (excellent), mixed Seafood and Vegetable Tempura, Vegetable Fried Rice, Green Beans in spicy garlic sauce and the Black Pepper Beef Tips. For dessert it was Green Tea Ice Cream. Am usually not a fan of Fried Rice or Tempura dishes. These, however, were not typical. The Fried Rice was not overpowered by the sauce and the Tempura was light in flavor and not greasy at all, as it should be. Overall a fun meal and with good food. The only dish that was a little disappointing were the green beans. They were cooked beyond al dente and wee wilted and almost rubbery in texture. The rest of the meal made up for it. Give it a shot. Am sure you will enjoy it.

Yelp
Was not pleased with this experience. My mom recommended we stop by after some shopping so I was willing to give it a try. There was a sign on the door that said service would be slow but BOY OH BOY slow is an understatement. We ordered appetizers (2) vegetable egg rolls and a shrimp dish. It took about 20 minutes to hit our table but atleast it was warm-ish .... My mother is vegetarian so when we received two egg rolls that looked like it had a minced meat filling we wanted to double check before eating. We couldn't find our waiter so we flagged down the hostess. She checked with the kitchen and came back to tell us they don't make the egg rolls they're bought frozen and the ingredients list tofu and mushrooms so MAYBE it's that. Well .... I should've known how my meal would go from there. Our entrees arrived maybe another 20 minutes later. My mom ordered the vegetable and shrimp tempura which came with a ginger salad and miso soup and I ordered a crab explosion roll with a side of fried . My mom (who again RAVED about this place ) did eat the ginger salad but didn't eat her food and barely touched the soup. I could tell she was disappointed and offered her some of my roll because honestly.... I didn't like it too much myself. Overall the food tasted old. Her tempura was soggy and tasted like burnt oil. My roll was warm and really just tasted like spicy mayo. The fried rice was okay but nothing to write home about or make up for the experience. We paid tipped and left but I don't think I'll personally be back. If you go prepare to wait. Even though the restaurant and bar area are empty.
google avatar

Eva B.

Yelp
The food, service and ambience combined for a great dining experience. Pricier than we would have liked, so this would have to be an occasional treat. I can't ding them for the price since everything else was good and it was our choice to dine there. We will go again, eventually.

Yelp
Good food! Egg rolls were delicious. Krab Rangoon was good and full. I had the sesame chicken which had a slight kick to it. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because my Togo rice was not filled to the top. I will return

Yelp
The Sunday buffet is spectacular. The staff is extremely friendly. My children barely like this type of food and they thought it was wonderful as well.

Yelp
This has been one of my favorite dining places in Tally in the past. Our visit last Saturday evening did not hold the torch though. Our server seemed to have limited knowledge of Asian food or the menu so the focus is not on training these days. She was pleasant; however, after we placed the order, we never saw her again until we had to flag her down to pay the bill. Drinks not refilled, dishes piling up on the table. No sign of management present. I walked over to the kitchen/bar area a couple of times for condiments and a menu. The scallion pancake should be a mainstay but it was too thick and lacked flavor. For some unknown reason, there are about half a cup of blah mayo on the side for this small pancake. I went to the kitchen seeking a chili oil that is the typical condiment. .....lack of quality control. The kitchen did execute my order for a veggie Mu Shu pancakes to substitute steamed tofu and add broccoli. The 4 soft rice pancakes were appreciated - the overall dish lacked flavor. Most of it was left behind. How about improving the dish and not aim for quality over quality? Mom ordered teriyaki chicken and it was a huge portion. Chicken was a bit overcooked though. Bam bam sushi roll was ordered by other family member. Also over sized. Next time, may just order traditional sushi but will inquire if fish is really fresh. Not feeling very trusting of them at the moment. Any sushi type place that serves Krab and not crab is questionable to me. We may think twice before visiting again.

Yelp
This place is a gem!! Have been in Tallahassee for more than 5 years. I've never heard about we have a Chinese restaurant serving Dim Sum. The last time I had dim sum is in NYC. The food is legit!!! Please add chicken feet to your Dim Sum menu Already spread the words, hope more people can try Dim Sum here.

Yelp
Don't let the strip mall front fool you this place is cool inside. Nice separate bar space, clean interesting decor. The food is tasty prompt and piping hot. The staff seems attentive and knowable about the food. I will need back

Yelp
Edited: Bump my review up to 4 stars. I go here often and enjoy the previous items and the seafood rice.

Yelp
First timer. I came at 2pm for "lunch" and this place is full! Miso soup: 4.5 stars. Typically at this type of places the miso is just generic and "meh" for taste. I was surprised with the taste!! :) Veggie Tango: 4 stars. I looks amazing and is big! It is good but all the ingredients do not marry with each other :( The soy sauce and ginger kind of brought the flavors together. I think the extra garnish (bell peppers) on top took away from the main ingredients. The mango mayo was a nice twist. Good but not memorable. Mango Veggie: 5 stars. It looks a lot simpler and is more flavorful!!! Both roles have very similar ingredients so O bought them on purpose. This role is memorable and the mango stands out. Again, the mango mayo is great! No need for soy sauce and ginger (I ate those on the side.. hehehe!). Fried Cheese Cake: 5 stars. Very simple and very delicious. Enough cheese cake to ice cream to tempura ratio!!! Loved it. Service: 3.5-4 stars. The place was full and it was a little crazy. Of the two rolls they got me the wrong one so I had to wait but it was ok. Was served water twice and had to extend the last glass. Will come again :)

Yelp
A seriously solid Asian restaurant! I ordered takeout and because the delivery time was about 45 minutes I opted to pickup which cut my waiting time significantly...I think I arrived in 15 minutes and my food was piping hot and waiting for me. Great service! The woman asked me if I was okay with putting my seaweed salad in the same bag with my hot food. I thought that was a very nice courtesy because most places wouldn't have even bothered to ask. By the way, their seaweed salad is the first I've ever eaten that didn't require adding soy sauce for flavor! I mean this was just really fresh and had perfect flavor with a little hint of spice. Delicious. And beautiful too. Don't let the price tag scare you, the portion is enormous. Gyoza were very tasty. It's rare to order takeout fried gyoza that actually still have a crisp when you're ready to eat them...these did! My go to Chinese dish is Mei Fun which unfortunately wasn't on the menu here but they did offer something very similar called the Taiwanese Style Rice Noodles. I didn't love this but I also didn't hate it. I think I just missed what I'm used to so it affected my tastebuds, maybe?! If I find myself in Tallahassee again, I'd certainly visit this place again. The location is also very convenient.

Yelp
Not terrible... service was average and I give this perspective based on how hard the servers were trying to do a good job. While I sat there I saw some being double or triple sat. I heard tables around me complaining about the delay in their bar drinks. One table's sushi has arrived before their bar drinks. The food was decent, it tasted fresh but the General Tso chicken was a little bland. I may give it another chance if I were to find myself hungry on this side of Tallahassee.

Yelp
Environment: 5 - very clean and great for couple Staff : 5 - great! Always checking up on customers Price: 3 - price is a bit high for the same quality elsewhere Food 2 - basically it's made for American people. Rice is dry, meat dry and Chinese dish is way off. Season is not quite there

Yelp
Saw all the good reviews, so I decided to venture. Highly disappointed!!! Crispy duck was old and hard, tasted like turkey. Had no duck fat, so I think it was turkey. I guess they thought I wouldn't know the difference!!! Dumpling skins were chewy. Fried Calamari Was old and chewy. I asked for Seafood Shumai that's on the menu and they said they only served that on Sundays (but it's on the menu). The BBQ ribs were okay but nothing to rave about. I ordered some other stuff but my wife is not happy with me putting a bad review on a small town restaurant, so I'm stopping it short. The staff were very nice. But over all it was a waist of $110!!!

Yelp
I like Azu Lucy Ho's, I think the dining room is decorated beautifully and the dinner food is amazing! However, the Saturday dim sum service was disappointing. Being the only place in town that serves dim sum, I was exciting to fulfill my craving but not expecting anything super authentic. The waitress was friendly but swamped with several tables, but she got the order in quickly. We ordered shumai, rice rolls, dumplings, and soup dumplings, deciding that we could order more food if we were still hungry after the first round. Unfortunately, the everything took 30 minutes to come out of the kitchen and the soup dumplings took an extra 10 minutes. The dim sum was good, I thought the meat in the soup dumplings was delicious (they just weren't very soupy) but it wasn't worth the wait. A lot of the dumplings kind of stuck to the basket so they fell apart as we picked them up. The waitress didn't grab soy sauce when she first dropped off the food, and we were unable to ask her for some because she didn't stop by our table until it was time for the check. We left still kind of hungry. We will be returning for the delicious dinners, but I would skip the dim sum!

Yelp
So many good things to say about Azu!!! The Ambiance was lovely. The service was wonderful. The food was . My boyfriend is a duck man. He has tried the duck at most of the Chinese restaurants in Tallahassee. This is THE DUCK! I am a sweet and sour chicken girl. Their Cherry Pineapple Sweet & Sour Chicken omg. I will never order it from anywhere else ever again. He doesn't want duck from anywhere else in Tallahassee. Please go.

Yelp
Consistently 4 stars, good food and service, only not 5 stars because I've never left thinking that was the most amazing thing I've ever had but I'm always really happy and I'm not going to say no if this place if suggested. I guess they recently took away bar seating which is a bummer for me. Also, I have an addiction to ginger dressing and I really do not like their ginger dressing, it's watery or something. The decor, lighting, and music could be a little better but you shouldn't pass up on at least trying this place. I'll be back probably semi consistently a couple times a year.

Yelp
My buddy loves Asian food. I visited Lucy Ho's back in 2005 and thought it was a mar-vel-ous Chinese establishment. It was a must try as we were traveling through Tallahassee. The location has changed though as it is not near the interstate. We ordered crab rangoon as our appetizer. I love the fact I can get fried cream cheese at a Chinese restaurant. Only once have I ever had crab rangoon that tasted crabby and I'm glad that was only once. Lucy Ho's was no exception. I did not like the sauce that came with it though. I think it was a sweet and sour sauce. My go to for Chinese is General Tso's. For $14, I got my money's worth as I was able to get 2 meals out of it. It was full of flavor but not overwhelmingly spicy. I enjoyed every moment of it. My friend though...not so much. He ordered Ramen. He said it was unflavorful and the noodles were instant for $14. I think it serves him right as there have been times he has kept me from my favorite places and he has tried to persuade me to try that overloaded chicken noodle soup known as Ramen haha. It did come with dumplings which were very tasty. If you go to Azu Lucy Ho's, go with the prepared Chinese dishes and skip the Ramen and noodles.
