"A rare riverside restaurant that’s not downtown, Azul specializes in Latin-inspired seafood and decadent brunches with towers of margaritas served in Patrón bottles. A partially covered deck and heated rooftop cabanas insure that diners can admire the river in all kinds of weather. Make a reservation through OpenTable." - aimee.levitt, Eater Staff, Samantha Nelson
"You go to Azul Mariscos when you’re in the mood for the kind of spot that has a live DJ, bottle service, a rooftop and patio on the water, and gives you the option to order cocktails for the table in a $160 clay pot. This seafood restaurant recently opened along the Chicago River in Goose Island, and the food is Latin-inspired. This means the menu is full of things like lobster empanadas, tacos, shrimp aguachile, and seafood platters. Is it Miami? No, but it doesn’t feel like Chicago either. "Cielo, the rooftop bar and restaurant on top of Azul Mariscos in Goose Island, just opened. It’s full of couches and cabanas with wooden pergolas, and it also has a view of the Chicago river. Like Azul, the menu is mostly seafood (with crudos and ceviches) and you can expect a whole lot of booze and bass while you’re here. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Team Infatuation
