We tried a little bit of everything and it did not disappoint. Located on the second floor, Azule Taqueria featured a plethora of flavorful combinations, textures and menu items. We had vegetarian members of our party that went back for seconds. Delicious, fast and convenient. I highly recommend Azule Taqueria!

We decided to try out the new food hall in downtown Santa Monica. We opted for a bowl of chicken tortilla soup and the Taco Sampler for 6 tacos. The chicken tortilla soup was hearty and flavorful. We were given suggestions for our choices and selected the cauliflower al pastor, garlic shrimp avocado, pineapple pork belly, and the asada. All were good but my most favorite was the cauliflower al pastor since I’m not much of a meat eater. The tortilla was freshly made (a plus in my book). Keep in mind that the tacos are street taco sized.

Great cheap eats spot in Santa Monica when you’re craving Mexican but don’t want to head downtown. I’d recommend going on Tuesday when it’s 50% off tacos (comes out to about $2-3 a taco). For vegans/vegetarians, the cauliflower al pastor was surprisingly good - well-seasoned and I like the big chunks of pineapple. You could get the cauliflower al pastor bowl too if you want a more substantial meal than just tacos - comes with white rice, refried beans, and fajitas. For the meat-eaters, I particularly like the chicken and the shrimp tacos. There is a salsa bar inside for you to serve yourself, and a shared water station. If you’re in a group, I’d get an order of chips and guacamole. The chips are large so be sure to break them up to get a good chip to guacamole ratio. You pay first (they do take credit card) and they’ll give you a buzzer. You can sit outside and people watch but there’s tables inside as well. You can order takeout through various apps like ritual and the food is usually made pretty quickly. Service is alright, just your standard fast food. Overall this is one of my go-to spots for a cheap quick meal.

Great for happy hour! My favorite taco spot in Santa Monica, with a great patio upstairs. I finally tried the nachos with beach barbacoa... they were amazing!

The food isn't worth the amount of money we paid. 1 bowl and 4 tacos shouldn't be $31. I should have stuck with Chipotle or taco truck. The food wasnt even that good. When we ordered the bowl, we told them NO ONIONS but they put onions in the bowl and on the tacos. The customer sevice needs improvement. While I was waiting for my number to be called, a random guy came and took my machine that buzzes when my order was ready. I thought it was weird .... anyway, I wouldnt come back here again. Better off at taco truck .

Tacos are average. Nachos were very pathetic. I ordered for delivery and was beyond underwhelmed. Given the choice I would rather have eaten a $2 taco from a taco truck instead of a $9 taco from here. The $11 nachos were literally just a ton of chips, 3 pieces of poorly cooked meat, 3 pieces of pineapple, onions, and a cheese sauce. I threw them away after 4-5 bites as they didn't taste good. A bag of Doritos with queso would have been better. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I was very pleased with the Cauliflower Al Pastor taco. It was full of flavor! I just wish it was bigger. But I ordered it as a bowl and my server was very kind enough to add a tortilla along with it. The bowl was HITTIN! Would definitely recommend that choice to anyone not just vegans!

I was craving tacos and remembered seeing a sign on the promenade for this place. I ordered a couple tacos at five dollars a piece and was dumbfounded by the portion. They were small street sized tacos, not medium sized like I assumed based on the price. The asada was good but the price left a lot to be desired. They didn't even give any chips with the order! Money not well spent. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place if possible and check out Tacos Por Favor on Olympic instead. More bang for your buck and it is tastier.
