We love this place. It's always part of our Napa visit. It's usually the capstone to our trip.

This was the BEST meal we had in Napa!!! Highly recommend making it a stop on your trip!!

This place has good pizza and nice service. The price is a bit high for what you get but that is the norm in Napa. My only complaint is they charge a 3% fee for using a credit card. I know this is necessary for business owners to avoid these fees but I was never informed of the fee until I read the bottom of the receipt. I checked the menu again after I noticed this to make sure I didn't miss something but it was nowhere to be found.

The food was good, service was good, but I feel like the pizzas could have had some more flavor, maybe a few more ingredients. And for the mushroom pizza, I thought there would be more variety.

Not sure what happened. This was our go-to for pizza night. Cheese pizza for my daughter came out super hot but soft in the center. Our other pizza came out burnt including the rigatoni dish. The fungi pizza which is our usual favorite was also tasted off. Too much white sauce or garlic?

I had a fabulous Italian dining experience here in Napa. It began with the professional but friendly service, that lasted through my dinner. Definitely try their Napolitano style pizza. I tried the Speck (see pic) and it was really good. I suggest asking for some olive oil to drizzle on your pizza before you inhale it.😋 Their Affogato was delicious! Will have to come here again to try their other offerings.

Because of the reviews, I was concerned that the service might not be good. But we were greeted promptly and cheerfully by the host, who was also our waiter. He was helpful, prompt, informative and pleasant. The pizza was great as was the dessert. We would highly recommend this restaurant and we would go back. It goes to show you can’t believe every review you read. I’m glad we gave it a try.

Ordered the marinara spaghetti and verde pizza. The sauce taste original but i prefer al dente spaghetti. The verde hs generous spinach topping and fragrant garlic. Overall, i love the food. Service is v friendly.

Came here with some friends after a day of wine tastings. We were seated right away, and the restaurant was pretty quiet throughout the entire time we were here. We ordered the meatballs and arancini for appetizers - both were alright, but I'd pass on them if I came back. My friend and I split a prosciutto and arugula pizza, and a white cream sauce pasta. The pasta was alright for the first few bites, but quickly became boring. The pizza was delicious and we loved the prosciutto. It was cooked in a unique way and way so flavorful. My other friends got different pizza and pasta dishes, and similarly the pasta fell flat and the pizza was delicious. Overall a decent option, but skip the pasta and just get pizza.

Such a great restaurant! My partner and I came here years ago, peak COVID, and sat at the bar area to have wine and apps. Years later we came back with family and it did not disappoint! The Caesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing. (Which I feel like a lot of places lack)! And the pizza was outstanding. They put the perfect amount of portions. Also, we brought Napa wine (shout out Robert Biale) and the corkage seemed cheaper!

Didn't think it was possible to find so much quality food for a good price in Napa! This restaurant is both family friendly and perfect for a date night! With such a vibrant menu there's something for everyone. Oh and did i mention the staff is great too?

We love Azzurro -- it's not the cheapest place on the block, but you are in Napa. The pizza comes out ridiculously hot and perfect. We've loved every dining experience we've had here. Gotta start with the Arancini: i Arborio Rice, Asparagus, Fontina, Creamy Herb Sauce - $15 ......SO good. We've had the Salsiccia: Caggiano Fennel Sausage, Red Onion, Marinara Sauce, Mozzarella -$26 -- really good, especially if you like sausage! The Salumi pizza for $26 : Salami, Kalamata Olives, Red Onion, Marinara Sauce, Oregano, Mozzarella, Parmesan. Really, the best pizza we've had here. It's amazing. Each pizza is 6 slices, so doubtful you'll go hungry. Salads are fantastic here and the wines are great as well. The best one on the menu is the Panzanella for $21: Mixed Greens, Grilled West Won Bread, Asparagus, Peas, Spring Onion, Sky Hill Goat Cheese, Creamy Lemon Dressing - SO fresh, so great. This place is super casual, great for families -- service is always good, friendly servers. You can't go wrong here.

The dough, oh so yummy. The dough and the wood fired oven make the pizza although the sauce is perfectly blended and the mozzarella is so fresh. We started with the meatballs and the Gordo (remember the dough?!? The Gordo is nothing but the dough cooked in the oven). Meatballs were good and using the Gordo to finish the sauce was the deal. Ordered margherita pizza and added speck (also known as prosciutto). Also tried the salsiccia (sausage and we added pepperoni). Both were very good Service was ok. Inside is cute and very cozy and clean. If you want to spend some dough on a good pizza, this is the dough for you!

This place has the worst service I have ever experienced. The hostess was so rude, she acted like we were an inconvenience. Upon arriving she asked us what we wanted, not hello, how many are in our party ( obviously its a restaurant), never bothered to tell us the wait time. If the service is this terrible I can only imagine how the food is!!

Food was excellent. Had the baked rigatoni and Salciccia pizza and both were absolutely delicious. Great service and ambiance.

Food is great and I love the B.B.L.T. Manciata; Heirloom Tomatoes, Hobb's Bacon, Romaine, Blue Cheese Dressing.

My friend Ingrid loves this place and now I know why! Great flavors I had the soinach pasta orchetta cooked perfectly, we had the steak salad and I have to say the steak was really flavofull but the arugula salad was an issue they firgot too destem the arugula!. Servuce was another issue but the food came out hot and delicious. I loved the atmosphere and the counter seating! Yeah nice experience overall!

We sat at the bar because we wanted that vibe - our first visit (we r locals and just don't eat that much pizza) Service was Excellent - wine and beer choices were great too. We ate the salad too quickly to take a pics - we had the wedge which had a generous amount of bacon and tomatoes and the dressing was awesome and not too thick. Pizza was excellent - our friends had the meatballs and pasta dishes and loved all of it!! Oh - and we didn't have room for dessert but they have SOFT SERVE ICE CREAM w caramel or chocolate sauce - i need to go back and just have this! We will return!

Came in on a Tuesday and had a great dinner. The special pizza with gorgonzola and pear was delicious, the meatballs are always a must and a delicious spaghetti rounded out our meal. Thank you Azzurro for always hitting the mark!

This pizza-loving fool hasn't strayed far from Azzurro since moving to Napa because the pizza, pasta, and wine options here make me very happy. Plus, the staff has always been thoughtful and friendly. We've also been bringing our guests here for pizza, which they love due to the combination of food, ambiance, and vibe. Be sure to ask about the specials. Although I'm usually a traditional pizza consumer, we're currently loving their chorizo and potato pizza. I really need to introduce myself!

Stopped in to enjoy their outdoor seating and true pizza oven. The staff was very friendly and our server was great. Like everywhere else in town, they have an impressive drink list. We started with the Arancini, which was great. They were cooked perfectly and the portion was large. We then shared the Salumi and Funghi pizzas. There was just two of us and we couldn't finish both of them. They were both pretty good but the Salumi was a little too strong with olives, but that's just a personal preference. I did wish the crust was a little softer but you can tell they came out of a piping hot pizza oven. The Funghi was piled high with mushrooms which isn't a bad thing but be prepared! Overall, cool little spot just outside of downtown. They have pretty steep prices considering they aren't even downtown. The pizzas are pretty small but still it was $24 and $23 for our two.

Unfortunately, after eating here for a while I have to update my review to lower my rating. Our last experience was particularly unfortunate. Once we were seated it took a good 15 minutes before anyone came to even start our order (we were there at 11:30 and were one of only two occupied tables in the whole restaurant). The server was abrupt, unpleasant and dismissive, sneering condescendingly at my wife when she asked for a minor alteration to her order. Added to this, there was country western "music" blaring out of the speakers, it was so obnoxious and loud that we eventually moved ourselves to an outdoor table just so we could hear each other talk. After eventually deigning to take our order, we watched dumbfounded as people who had arrived *after* us got their food before we got ours. I'm hesitant to base a re-review on a single bad experience, but the completely out-of-place and way too loud country music blaring from the speakers was more than enough on its own to cause me to not want to come back here. If I wanted to go to a honky tonk and yuk it up with some guys who care more about their truck than their wife, well... I'd go do that. When I go into a modern, upscale Italian restaurant the last thing in the entire WORLD I want to hear about is some cowboy hat and his broken heart. Poor showing, Azzuro.

I wouldn't recommend Azzuro Pizzeria in Napa to anyone. The 2 staff members on Friday, November 15,2024 were very unfriendly. Both ladies kept sour puss faces, not a smile to our group but to every other table they were pleasant and engaging. I don't know if it had anything to do with our party having black people in it but it was very obvious they wanted to get us served and out of their establishment. The food was just ok and very over priced. Azzuro Pizzeria is a definite NO in my book.

It looks like there's a lot of good Pizzeria's in Napa. I could've been to at some other Pizzas in this neighborhood, but I chose to be at this one. Now this is a Pizzeria. It looks clean and somewhat Mediterranean here. This time I wanted a Mushroom Pizza. It features Taleggio Cheese, Roasted Garlic, and Thyme. I never had Taleggio Cheese, this is my first time having it. Is Roasted Garlic better than Confit Garlic? Thyme is what I sear and baste my Steak in with butter. The Pizza was bigger than expected. The Pizza had somewhat more of a flop than some others out there. The dough was slightly more chewy, than other Pizzas I've had. The Mushroom was so umami. It reminds me of a Mushroom Bruschetta. The Cheese was luscious. This Pizza is way above average. I also had to get a creamed soda made with real Cane Sugar and not High-Fructose Corn Syrup, it was very refreshing. I give this 4.2 stars.

Cheer cheers and here here. We are definitely here at Azzurro and loving it. The decor and vibe are one thing but the thing that won us over was that when we asked for the jewel of our existence... Water... Our server asked if we wanted ice. Thoughtful and just the perfect amount. If that isn't enough to sell you on this place, did I forget to mention then leave a full glass bottle of water on the table to service your hydration needs. Cheers again.

We tried re-ordering from here because my neighbor said I should give it a second chance; our order was actually worse. We ordered the Speck Pizza; overly salty and an almost raw center to the topside of the dough. Definitely not making the same mistake for the third time. Management should try their own products and experience what it's like to pay $26 for a undercooked delivered pizza. There are at least 10 better options for pizza in less than one square mile from this place. Oenotri has less expensive and infinitely better pizza and food.

i was a visitor, found it ob Yelp so thought give it a try!! paid $37 and after one piece got the box and leave it to homless!!! i ordered Funghi pizza, VERY salty chesse and mushroom((( super hungry, only one bite and done.. these stars are for customer service ONLY,, not food not recommending this place

Had lunch at Azzurro today- everything was fantastic!!! The service was lovely- very friendly, checked in on things and food was delicious!! The dough had a beautiful crunch and chew and the meatballs were awesome! They had great flavor and the sauce was a must to sop up with the gordo (baked pizza dough)! The mista salad was perfectly dressed- truly, everything was such a wonderful experience, we will definitely be back next time we are in Napa!

Ive been frequenting azzurros for almost a decade! I can't believe ive yet to write then a Yelp review. Azzurros is by far my favorite place to go when in napa. They have the best pizzas. My usual order is a fun new beer, the speck pizza and a caesar salad. I love the presentation of the caesar salad as it comes out full leaf and not diced for you. The dressing isn't heavily coated and has great flavor with plenty of parmesan cheese The speck pizza is unusual in that it has no sauce aside from garlic oil but it is absolutely amazing! I can't get myself to order anything else because I just love this pizza that much. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings here.

Tried this delicious restaurant during a vacation to Napa. We ordered the Caesar salad and the Salsiccia pizza add pepperoni. Both items were very good. The Caesar salad was fresh with what tasted like homemade dressing. The pizza was hot and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of everything. I stuffed my face with three (YES, THREE) pieces. The salad and 2 was more than enough but hey...I was on vacation. We'll definitely be back the next time we visit Napa!

Food was okay. Not impressed for the amount of money I paid. Service was okay and it was nice and clean.

I went to get dinner for my soon to be 84 year old elderly aunt that was in the hospital, and even though they closed early and had not updated their operating hours online, they still graciously prepared her a posta dish that she wanted. I can't wait to go back and try some of their other food for myself. Amazing service to both the staff and chef for preparing her dish after hours. I can't thank you enough.

We had a great time here this evening. The food was so good, and excellent service. So glad we stopped here! Would totally come again.

When I called earlier in the day to ask about reservations, the guy who answered the phone told me they don't take ressies for small parties but then got kind of annoyed sounding when I asked if a particular time frame was usually busy (really?) - and for some reason decided to slam the receiver down with a loud "click" on my ear (jeez, thanks dude). When we walked in later for dinner, it was clear there was something wrong with the grease trap and the whole restaurant smelled like a sewer. We got seated but the smell was just too much. We walked out. Jerky Maitre'D and restaurant that smells like butthole? No thanks.

Best pizza in town! My favorite is the Salumi. The margherita is also really good. I like getting the Caesar salad sometimes to start. My kids like getting a pepperoni and they enjoy it. For dessert my kids like the brownie with ice cream, which I've snuck some bites of and it's nice and chocolatey. I've also tried the meatballs and they were tasty. Definitely a must try spot before (or after) your wine tasting.

This is my favorite place for lunch. Any time I am having a girls brunch or birthday celebration it's our go to place. The food is great and never disappoints!

It's ok. Quick and the food was ready on time. The mushroom pizza is super mushroom which I liked. The Sicilian was ALL anchovies. It was over bearing and we couldn't eat it.

Excellent place to dine at nor take out !! We were here last year and Let's just say, I can't wait to eat here while on vacation!! They have a full menu of Pizza and unique Italian dishes !! It's definitely a must try !!

Stopped by on a rainy Saturday for a late lunch. I was promptly seated and drink order taken. I decided on 1/2 order of Mista Insalata to get my greens and Funghi Pizza for some substance. Salad came out quickly and was good. Hot pizza followed like 5-8 minutes later and hit the spot. Service good, food good so I'll be back to explore more of the menu.

Another great to go dinner from Azzurro. BBLT Manciata and side Beat and Goat Cheese Salad. Yum. They also have a great Rigatoni and wine list. Try this out, you will love it

My friend and I asked several people around Napa for dinner recommendations on pizza and pasta, and without question, they all pointed us to Azzurro! My friend and I couldn't decide between pizza or pasta, so we ordered both, each! What I love about Azzurro is that you can order half portions of their pasta and salads. They're open for indoor and outdoor seating as well as takeout orders. Service was great and the food was filling, fresh, and delicious! You absolutely MUST order the sea salted caramel soft serve for dessert. I'm literally salivating thinking about it. It's the perfect combination of slightly salty and sweet.

Smells like a fart. I got the gluten free pizza that you food like a pizza. Gluten free and dairy free if you leave off the cheese

Locals and tourists alike can't get enough of this spot. Locally owned and conveniently located downtown. Their pizza in my opinion is one of the best in town, doughy thin crust always cooked perfectly with a good dough to sauce ratio. The salads are great too, lightly dressed with huge croutons. Obviously they have a nice wine and beer selection and the soft serve for dessert is the cherry on top. Usually you can walk in without a reservation but call in to check on weekends after 6. We appreciate that they're a nice restaurant without being too upscale (and all the negatives that come with that). Always have a nice time here!

I love this restaurant. Over the years I've had lots of different items there. Everything is pretty darn tasty and fresh. The restaurant is always clean and the service is excellent. Delish salads, pizza. Pasta, meatballs, and ice creams are all yummy. I give it 4.5 stars.

(3.5 pizza) A solid pizza option for a late night bite but not one of the more memorable meals. Pizza is good, but it's pricey, especially for just a six slice margherita pie, and the crust didn't have the crispness or burntness I usually look for. Favorite bite was their bread dipped in marinara sauce, kinda like garlic bread but without the lingering garlic scent.

I took my daughter out on a father/ daughter date night here and we enjoyed a wonderful salad and amazing pizza! Our service was phenomenal too! We really enjoyed our dining experience which led to a wonderful evening enjoying downtown Napa!

Still my favorite place for pizza since 2010. Love Azzurro Pizzeria. The staff here is amazing. They are hard working, kind and consistent. I love that ever time I got into this restaurant, it is the same awesome people every time. There is something to be said when the employees stay. The food is always amazing too. I always get the same thing and the food always taste the way I remember it. They often have specials for people who like to try new things but I always get the same thing. For a cold day, I'd recommend the Zuppa Minestrone. It has seasonal vegetables, beans, tomato, 7 parmesan, and EVOO ($7) or the Gamberi which has grilled shrimp, rancho gordo 17 heirloom beans, sausage and arugula ($17). On a summer day, I'd recommend the roasted beets which has burrata and black olive vinaigrette ($12) or the Caesar salad which is romaine, parmesan and garlic croutons ($14). The pizza that I love the most is the Margherita pizza. Marinara sauce, fresh mozzarella and basil makes my soul happy. I hope you will like it too.

Visited this pizza place yesterday + today. We are here for a quick trip and wanted something that our son would also enjoy.... We got hooked on this pizza! Yesterday we had 1 cheese + 1 pepperoni pizza (me + hubby shared a pie). Since we decided to come back early from Yountville and other areas around Napa today instead of staying for a fancy dinner at RH Reataurant, we decided that we hadn't had enough of the pizza! Today we had 1 cheese + 2 pepperoni pizzas, as well as a 1/2 portion of the Mista salad. Tasty. The vinaigrette dressing was just right. Not to tangy or runny or pungent. The staff was super friendly during the phone takeout order and just as friendly when we arrived to pick up our pizza for both days. We walked to pick up our order from a nearby hotel and the pizza was still warm when we returned to our room. There is plenty of room at the restaurant to dine but, our fam is still following strict distancing rules that we put on ourselves so, we felt more comfortable being able to spread out in our spacious hotel room. The restaurant is in a prime location in downtown Napa. A quick walk from nearby hotels and tasting tables. Def give them a try when you're done tasting!! We are giving 4 of 5 stars because the pizza is a tad bit greasier than we'd like but, it's really good so. Or a huge deal. We will stop by again on our next trip.

We stopped for a quick bite to eat in-between wine tasting because we wanted something more than the sample foods at the tastings. We chose this spot because it was a block away from Housley (next wine stop). We ordered the meatballs as an appetizer and a sausage pizza. The meatballs were ok, We felt the sauce was not thick enough and the flavor was average. The pizza on the other hand was delicious. The crust was thin and had a nice crunch. The toppings were spread out evenly and you were able to get meat on every slice. The sliced red onions sealed the deal and made it the perfect little pizza. Sadly they didn't have any garlic rolls or bread like most pizza places do. All in all when we return to Napa this would definitely be on our list of places for great pizza.

My son and I only had about 20 mins to spare while my family were wine tasting. Had a quick root beer and pelligrino blood orange sparkling drink. The meatballs and especially the sauce did not disappoint. The bread portion were larger than usual and all was delicious! We're visiting from tampa!!!

Ordered the Speck Pizza as mentioned in another review. I usually order margarita pizza In search to find the best on this planet. But the excellent waiter (Dillon) said to try the speck pizza as well. He also suggested a beer from the 'special' board called Revision Hazy IPA. Great combination! Loved this place starting with food and then ambiance, cleanliness and service staff all was excellent. Don't second guess it, check it out!

Loved this place! Great service, dining area was bright and airy. We had the Beet salad, flat iron salad 3 pizzas and 2 bottles of wine for under 50 bucks each. And the crust melted in your mouth..great pizza! We will be back!
