Stopped by B & C Teriyaki on a Thursday to grab our favorite poke from the Unreal Poke pop-up and ended up trying the teriyaki too — both were on point! The poke was super fresh, flavorful, and refreshing as always. The teriyaki beef and chicken had a rich, savory flavor, and the meat was tender and cooked just right. They also have a nice outdoor seating area that’s perfect for enjoying good weather and relaxing while you eat. Only downside is that parking is a little limited, so plan ahead. Still, absolutely worth the visit — highly recommend trying both the poke and teriyaki!

The food is good but the sauce is too sweet for me. The chicken is well chopped, and the beef is unique for a teriyaki place. It's shredded beef and really soft. It's good, but it just threw me off due to its unique texture. It's not bad, just different. On a positive note, they give you a lot of teriyaki sauce, which I liked. I also thought their veggies were really well cooked and flavorful, which I appreciated.

I love this place, the family is so incredibly nice. I usually get a #5 beef/chicken combo, extra veg, teriyaki and curry sauce on the side. It's a lot of food so I try my best to eat half for 2 lunches. Their ice tea is good, most places tend to have a dish rag taste.ive been going there for over 30yrs and it's always the same delicious quality. Unlike fast food chains that charge more and more with quality dropping every year.

Bland food, Meats had zero taste. Just a boiled texture. Just awful tasting. The teriyaki sauce was also horrible. Many years ago I remember how delicious they used to be.

Was just driving around while in town from Vegas when I drove past - turned around when I saw it and headed back. Open-air dining on a beautiful day with an amateur video crew recording for social media - sounded like a scene I wanted to check out. Had a simple combo teriyaki bowl; very tasty, lots of veg, very reasonably priced. Added Sriracha, which when mixed with their teriyaki gave it a gochujang flavor for a first-rate meal. Limited parking; so what? It's a neighborhood kind of place. Fun group of people hanging out; my girlfriend lives and was at work nearby, so I will be back again.

5/5 -- Hidden Gem for Chicken Teriyaki! I stumbled upon this little mom-and-pop shop and wow their chicken teriyaki blew me away! The chicken was perfectly grilled, juicy, and flavorful with that slightly charred edge that hits just right. The teriyaki sauce? Sweet, savory, and not overly salty you can tell it's homemade. The portions were generous, the rice was fluffy, and the veggies had the perfect bite. You can taste the love in every bite. Plus, the owners were super sweet and welcoming you don't get that kind of service at chain spots. Definitely coming back. If you're looking for comfort food made with heart, this is the place.

Nice little corner takeout restaurant. ISeating on the side, amazing customer service. We were offered a side of curry sauce to try, and it was to die for. The curry sauce was amazing. The chicken teriyaki was perfectly cooked, not overcooked one bit. Shredded beef was perfectly seasoned, nice and tender as well. Love how much rice they give you, perfectly portioned. Definitely will be back.

Every time my partner and I come to Monrovia to visit his family, we stop at B&C Teriyaki. First, you'll always be greeted with a smile. Second, the chicken curry is my go to choice. I've never had a curry sauce like this one - light but flavorful. And each bite you take leaves you wanting more. It leaves you with the kind of comfort food feeling you get from eating grandma/grandpa's food. Lastly, its worth the money you spend. I can split the regular into 2 meals. Thank you B&C!

There is nothing more inspiring and heart warming than a son wanting to carry the torch for his parents' business, preserving and honoring their hard work and journey, and B & C Teriyaki is the owner's, Ben's testament to that. I have seen their reels and have had their teriyaki several times and I've finally had the time to sit down and pen out this review. Not only is B & C a great spot for some delicious quality teriyaki, but also a community space and a place to break bread (or beef bowl in this case). I've had their teriyaki bowls at an anime event (Sugoi Sunday), a coffee place, and most recently they held a car meet event. They also do collaboration events with other businesses (clothing and food colalbs), which is pretty cool too. It's a breath of fresh air to see such dedication into the creation of aforementioned community space, merchandise, and going out to other events. I love their Mr. Teri mascot too, cute little guy. I have tried both their standard chicken teriyaki bowl and their combo teriyaki (with the Ben's special, mix teriyaki and curry sauce). Along with the protein, the orders have cabbage, carrot, broccoli, and onions as veggies. Portions are generous and they don't skimp out on the proteins, nor the sauce, so that every grain of rice is drenched in its deliciousness. I wouldn't say that the curry is necessarily spicy (though I have a high tolerance), but that it has a lot of spices in it, creating a nice depth of flavor. The rice is always perfectly fluffy and yummy as well. I've also had the chance to try their collaboration with Shinya Co., which was a much spicier sauce available. And although it wasn't excruciatingly spicy, it did build up to a pretty powerful heat as I kept eating. Things like this make it exciting to see what B & C will do next because they always keep you guessing. Sometimes they even have aguas frescas and the jamaica and horchatas at events and it goes amazingly well with a hearty helping of teriyaki protein, veggies, and rice. We wanted to try this small, family-owned business that we've driven past for years! The service was very friendly. We ordered at the window and they brought our food out to us. There is a small outdoor seating area, mostly covered. We tried the curry and teriyaki and enjoyed both. Both were tasty, although the curry is a bit spicy and not a Japanese curry, so just to be aware. The chicken is dark meat and there is a generous portion of rice and vegetables. My son had the beef and said it was good. We enjoyed our lunch here!

Pretty decent! I tried the beef/chicken combo veggie plate with curry. I would like to come back and try the teriyaki. The beef is good, it's like roast beef. Very tender. I do wish the curry was a bit spicier/more strong curry flavor.

Great spot in Monrovia! I have been living in Duarte for 25 years and have never been to this place (shame on me). A friend recently recommended me to try it out and so I decided to finally stop by my Fiancé and cousin. Boy have I been missing out - the Teriyaki and Curry sauce are both amazing! Hands down one of the best teriyakis I have ever tried. The curry is savory, rich, and has a nice little kick - as a spice lover, it was the perfect amount of heat. Both Chicken and Beef were melt in your mouth tender, juicy, and flavorful. The service was amazing as well, a nice young lady rung us up and the gentleman there (owner?) recognized that we had never been there before, and was kind enough to let us try both sauces. Been driving past this place for years. Went to the eye doctor and tried it out. Told the gentleman it was my first time and he recommended the combination bowl, half teriyaki half curry. I'm not a curry person, but their curry was really good. Teriyaki was good, but needed more. I'll ask for more next time. It's a small place on the corner, little parking, we took it to go and I don't remember any tables. It's a new place on my rotation of fast (good) food.

I got all hyped about this place via social media and wanted to support the young owner. Unfortunately the food missed the mark. I was expecting grilled meat but the meat tasted boiled/steamed. They also skimped on their portions and gave me too much rice. The owner is charismatic and sold me on this place. Maybe they're having an off day. I drove out of my way from south east SGV. Thìs is not your standard teriyaki bowl. I would suggest grilling or charbroiling your meats. Maybe they're still working on perfecting their craft. I would give thìs place a 3.8 stars. There's room for improvement.

I ordered this place to go and was surprised to see they had a curbside drop off option. They asked for my car color and type and the arrival time. When I arrived there was no option to let them know I was here but I arrived at the requested time frame and no one came with the food. I wasn't that surprised and then parked to get the food. I felt a little disappointed it wasn't brought to my car as it had advertised. I took the food home and thought that the beef flavor was pretty standard. I should mention they really skimped on the meat portion. They gave pretty much 85% rice and 15% meat. I understand with the prices I should've lowered my expectations but both of these combined was the reason for my rating.

After watching the TikTok video about this place , I convinced my boyfriend to have it for dinner tonight. I wanted to love this place, but it was just okay. First, I love that it is really easy to place your order online. You could do it through their website or you could do it through the Toast app. I had their teriyaki beef and chicken combo and my boyfriend got the beef and chicken curry combo. I asked for my sauce on the side and I'm glad I did because the sauce was a little too sweet for me so I'm glad I was able to control how much sauce I put on the meats. My boyfriend thought the curry was OK... He wasn't sure what kind of curry it was. We also ordered the beef, bean, and cheese burrito... Which had a lot more bean than anything else. We also got their beef and chicken tacos to try and I definitely like that better than I thought I would.... It definitely needed the hot sauce. All in all, it was a decent meal, and good portions, and was very affordable. I can see why some people love it.

It's very easy to miss this place, I have driven past it for years. But after eating there today it is literally impossible for me to ever miss again! The staff was super helpful and friendly and the food was fresh and delicious! I was advised that the most popular menu item was the chicken and beef bowl and it was so good! The chicken and beef were cooked perfectly and the rice and veggies tasted so light and fresh! Topped with the teriyaki sauce and a little extra hot sauce it was a well balanced plate with a perfect amount to eat.

I've been coming here for 22 years, and the quality and taste has always stayed consistent! Everything is made fresh to order. The meat is so tender, juicy, and flavorful. I get the beef teriyaki bowl with no veggies, and that's been my go to since 2002. This place is one of those hidden gem mom and pop owned places to eat. If you're in town, def go check them out! B & C Teriyaki is a very reasonably-priced food kiosk. Yes, they have a couple of tables to sit outside, but other than those two, it's mainly a take-out food joint. However, it's not "just another takeout place"; their food is quite fantastic. My husband and I discovered B & C Teriyaki while our kid's team was playing at a volleyball tournament at the nearby high school. As we decided to walk towards Foothill, we came across this eatery. Interestingly enough, on this particular day that we went to B & C, there was a small herd of deer(!!) grazing on bushes on the other side of Foothill Boulevard in broad daylight. What a sight this was! Obviously, this occurrence in nature was completely unexpected in the middle of suburbia, and, quite frankly, I think it added positively to the experience of eating here and enjoying the bewilderment.

I have come to this place for years!! The son has now taken over the family business and we as a community, should support this business!! Food is delicious!! Ben is awesome!! Friendly and it's time for the parents to relax and let their son prove his magic!!

Amazing place and amazing service! two young gentlemen helped me out. I believe Ben and Johnson? The cashier was very sweet too. The food was delicious 5/5 star. I will definitely be visiting whenever I'm in the area. Btw, the two men that helped me were very handsome. Johnson smelled like cherry blossoms and Ben was quite hung in his worker greaves. I always order the chicken curry bowl with light rice and my bf gets the beef teriyaki bowl. Been going here for decades. Curry is spicy and delicious. Service is excellent, the owners are super nice. Price is good just over $10-$11 per one entree bowl. They just repainted outside and it looks great! Easy dining on their patio or taking to go. Never disappoints!

I ordered chicken and curry, and it was SO GOOD. It was a good amount of spiciness but SO flavorful. The owners are also super nice and kind. Outdoor seating is very nice and shady and environment is great.

Been eating here all my life and I can't seem to get tired of it. The teriyaki and curry sauce go insanely well together with both the beef and the chicken. Not a single menu item that misses. Classic spot with delicious food. We always get the chicken curry bowl and the beef teriyaki bowl and it slaps every time! I sometimes do light rice because I love their veggies, I find the cabbage tastes especially good. Great prices, nicest owners, and they just did a cute remodel of the outside. my boyfriend got the same thing. it was our first time going and we will definitely go back. the flavor was a 10/10 and the service was great, and attentive. there is an outside dining patio and it was spacious. we seriously loved this gem we found on yelp. not only is it healthy and filling but overall a great spot!

This is one of my go to spots for teriyaki. Portions are great and it's a family owned business. The owners are nice and friendly. They take card now also which is a big plus. The shredded beef is a must try. They refreshed the dining area also.

B & C Teriyaki is a great place for casual takeout or dining in. The meals provided are of excellent value and quality, with the portions served being quite filling. I've been here twice and will continue to stop by. The staff is friendly and accommodating and the place is kept tidy. The place also accepts credit card now so it is no longer cash only which which is a plus for convenience of course. Highly recommend this place!

This place is such a stellar eatery, to the guy that said he didn't understand the hype about it he must be dumb haha This little eatery is easy to miss but packs such a delicious punch it's crazy! Super healthy options and such flavor in every bites. Wonderfully seasoned beef and chicken cut to pieces over a cascading bed of rice, with carrots, onions, and broccoli. It's drizzled in your choice of sauce - either teriyaki or curry and they are both great options (though I prefer the slight slickness to curry) I have become addicted to this place and make sure I stop by when I'm in the area for a nice healthy lunch. Stop by here on my way to work. I'll give it one star because it won't allow me to give zero stars. My chicken was old, the beef was very chewy, and my vegetables are soggy. Very disappointed. Definitely not worth $13.

Boy I really never complain about food because I'm a big lady who love to eat ! But when I tell you this has to be worse then dog food . If I could give zero stars I would, let me start off by saying the prices here are ridiculous!!!! 10$ for a teriyaki chicken bowl with horrible quality, the beef bowl I ordered was chewy that's how you know it's cheap quality. Why even charge so much when the chicken and beef they order is horrible!! The worst 30$ I've ever spent on food in my whole life. I will never try this spot again. I will continue going to Mako bowl or B mans. Please don't waste your time and money here you will be very upset and disappointed.

It's ok for an Asian/Mexican fusion bowl. The meat is a little chewy but the flavors are there.

I really want to like this place since its family owned and so close to home. Unfortunately- its just not good. We had the curry, beef, and chicken teriyaki. The curry was odd tasting and very spicy. the beef was like dry pot roast with below average teriyaki sauce. Chicken was ok.. just not good. Rice was mushy. We also had beef tacos. This was the same Pot Roast meat on cold corn tortillas and lettuce.

We've been coming here since I was a kid and it's still amazing! The food is delicious. John the owner and the other employees are so nice. The teriyaki chicken bowl is my go to when I don't want to cook. It's located conveniently off foothill with just enough parking. ITS CASH ONLY, but you can run across the street and hit the atm there. It's in a friendly neighborhood and the outside patio is always clean.

Love their food and their service! Both sauces are their own secret recipe and you won't find anything like it anywhere else. We come all the way from Glendale whenever we're craving teriyaki or curry (I don't even like curry but I crave theirs)! Food is served fast and I've never had a bad experience here. Also, the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Highly recommend!!!

This little eatery is quick and convenient, but the menu is a little more limited than I expected from a Mexican Asian fusion place. The brain and cheese burrito was pretty bland, even with onions. But the sweet chili sauce that comes with the tacos helped with that. My husband enjoyed his tacos, as well. We would come back again but I would try ordering something different. You can't see it from the street but they actually have a pretty big patio area to eat at and it's surrounded by foliage and a rain cover, so it's a pleasant place to eat.

Delicious beef teriyaki. The chicken teriyaki was also good. This is not a sit-down restaurant, but rather a booth where you order at the counter and take your food away. They do have some outdoor seating available next to their booth.
