B. on the Go - Review - Lower Pacific Heights - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Fancy sandwiches! Fancy sandwiches for everyone! This is the rallying cry of San Francisco, and B. on the Go - the sister restaurant to B. Patisserie - is adding its voice to the chorus. We've got nothing bad to say about a city where high-quality meats meet professionally-made breads, smeared with artisanally-applied dollops of cheffy sauce. It's nice that the level of effort around something as simple as a sandwich is incredibly high. But then comes that nagging voice in the back of your head. Does it taste better? Did ego surpass execution? Would you be better off sampling the goods at the neighborhood deli? With respect to the last question, definitely not. Neighborhood deli sandwiches are garbage, and B. On the Go's are very much not. For example: the banh mi. Oof, what a banh mi. The ingredients appear to be typical — pork, sliced vegetables, and a roll. The flavor is not. The vegetables are oozing with pickling juices. The pork is popping with meaty flavor. The bread, while copious, is puffy and rippable. There are only two acceptable SF banh mis: a $3 version from Lee's Sandwiches, and this one. If you're gonna go high end, go here. The other sandwiches are solid, but don't quite reach the same level. The Cuban is dripping in melted cheese, so you know it won't be bad, but it ends up a bit one-note. The porchetta is drowning in bread (which, ahem, is a bit of an issue across the board). That said, the savories come with a bonus: fancy cookies! We had three. The chocolate chip won out. So, yes, we're glad SF has another classy sandwich shop. We think they should tone down the bread-to-filling ratio, which seems to be a pitfall for many bakeries that become sandwicheries. And we would love some more kick in our meats. But picking up lunch from B. on the Go – if you happen to be unemployed and hanging out in Lower Pac Heights – is a good call. Food Rundown Porchetta We would kill for an excellent porchetta. This one was decent. The meat had fatty flavor, but the sandwich was 85% bread. We love bread, but this is unacceptable. Additionally, B. on the Go needs to work on making its bread a little more bite-able. We shouldn't need wolf-like fangs to tear our sandwich apart. Banh Mi Most of this review was about this sandwich, so you get the picture. Also maybe a little too much bread in this one as well? Cuban It was good, because any competently-executed Cuban is good. It was not great, let's say that. Cookies Once you see them, you'll have to get one. Go chocolate. The rest are not gooey enough." - Max Child

Friendly staff; delicious food; relaxing environment. I enjoyed a coffee with a croissant breakfast sandwich - eggs, ham, and cheese with a side of onion and tomato. 😋

I was driving up from South Bay and needed a quick bite. B. Patisserie has been on my want to go list for a while, but they did not have online orders and B. on the Go did. Plus, B. On the Go has breakfast sandwiches. I placed a scheduled order for pick up, estimating my arrival time. Got there about 5 minutes earlier, but it wasn't a problem. The food was actually ready. The place wasn't too busy, so we were able to eat the sandwiches there before continuing our drive North. The Braised Pork Belly Breakfast Sandwich and the Vegetarian Breakfast Sandwich were both delicious. Two thumbs up! We also got an oatmeal cherry toffee cookie to split. The cookie was good, but it was a tad too sweet for my taste buds. The lunch sandwiches looked good too and I'd definitely consider coming back the next time I'm in the area.

Google
Ham, cheese, and egg croissant was amazing… very hearty to say the least! Very generous with the eggs and layers of grilled ham. Toasted croissant. I regret not getting their chocolate chip cookie, but I thought it was too early on a Saturday morning for dessert 😆 Would not order the drip coffee again though (very bitter). A lot of empty tables on a Saturday morning (if you’re looking for a place to chill).

My friend and I decided to try to be on the go for lunch since we’ve had B patisserie before. We shared a sandwich and ordered a soup. The tomato soup was super salty to the point. It was uncomfortable to swallow so I asked the cashier if we could have another bowl but he said no the salt is pre-mixed already he offered to refund us for the soup, which I thought was very kind of him. We had the pork sandwich and it was so good not only was the meat good but the bread was soft soft and warm. Although though I was disappointed, I didn’t have my soup. I’m sure it’s pretty good except it was just overly salted. Will be back for more food next time.

Came here with the wifey for breakfast. The Pork Belly sandwich is awesome! I’m a low carber so I spared the bun! 😋 We’ll be back for sure! Ps… The place is not crowded as their other store across the street! 👍🏽 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Google
Newly working in the area and wanted to try this place out. Ordered on phone at 12:01, was told 10min, didn’t get sandwich until 12:22- it had been sitting behind the counter apparently. Place was not busy. Also ordered a toffee cookie, ended up getting chocolate chip. Overall bad impression, don’t have this extra time on lunch break. Tuna melt was very mediocre, turned out to be panini style and was quite dry.

Google
Ordered the vegetarian breakfast sandwich. It was amazing. Scone was fluffy. Filling tasted home made with a lot of nutritious friberous goodness. Boyfriend really enjoyed his pork sandwich, meat made in house. Service was friendly. Had a great time sitting in the sunlight dining room. Great lunch.

We love B. Patisserie pastries and desserts, but also enjoy the sandwiches at B. on the Go. Everything is fresh and delicious. On the weekends, they serve a fried chicken sandwich that's a must!

Yelp
I wish I took a picture but my breakfast sandwich was so inviting I ended up just diving right in. Ordered the Braised Pork Belly sandwich and it was AMAZING! I got it to go to bring and share with my partner and even after having the sandwich sit in the box for 30 minutes, it was still nothing short of delicious. Fluffy eggs over succulent braised pork belly - so rich and tasty! I loved how fatty and soft the meat was and appreciated that neither the meat nor eggs were overly salted so you can really enjoy the taste of the ingredients on their own. With that said, the sauce packed a nice punch of flavor and there was a perfect amount, not overdressed at all. Part of me wishes I got a whole sandwich for myself because it tasted so good but honestly the half sandwich (+ a cookie) was more than enough for a filling breakfast!

Yelp
Stopped in around 9am on a Sunday. No line and ample seating, while there was a long line for B. Patisserie (sister restaurant) across the corner! The restaurant is simple and you order at the counter. We got a pork banh mi and a breakfast sandwich (ham & cheese) to go. We loved the banh mi! They allowed subs for the bread on the bfast sandwich. Also offered basic drip coffee (did not try) and some baked goods.

Yelp
Across the street from b patisserie, this spot serves more savory options like soups and sandwiches. There is ample seating with plentiful light through the large windows. No wait as it's usually less busy than its sister cafe. Ordered the tuna melt and the tomato soup. Delicious and filling! Would come again if in a pinch for lunch in the area.

Yelp
I don't know why kids do this but they would always, ALWAYS eat dessert first. Is it a primal instinct to satiate that carbohydrate need? (not like they need more sugar!) I hid the cookie pastry bag in my purse and gave my kid her ham and egg croissant first. So, she ate her egg and left everything else and started digging into my purse for buried treasure. Of course, I'm a helicopter mom so I caught her on time before she stuffed her face with MY cookie. (that's right, it's my cookie, not hers. LOL) She grumpily finished the rest of her croissant with the promise of getting SOME part of the cookie. Meanwhile, like a responsible adult, I happily chowed down on my nuts and seeds salad. If that doesn't fill you up, order a couple of sides. Their tomato bisque is wonderfully tart and savory and the brussel sprouts are perfection. Also, don't sleep on their porchetta sandwich! I had it awhile back and while it may not rival Roli Roti's version, it beats going down to the Ferry Building and standing in line for that.

Yelp
Sandwiches are amazing and chocolate chip cookie is the best I've ever had!! I called for a pick up order everything was ready to go when I got there!

Yelp
I've passed this place so many times, and now that I know how good it is, I will be back again. The sandwiches are perfect. The bread is made in house, and the selections are familiar offerings (bahn mi) with unconventional twists like cauliflower, chicken, and eggplant. While this place is known for take out, the friendly and helpful service will have you wanting to stay and enjoy whatever you order. The cookies look amazing but will have to wait until next time. Breakfast menu looked excellent.

Yelp
I was looking for a place to get a quick and small meal. I went here around 4:30pm on a Saturday and there was a short wait. This restaurant is very small inside, so I guess that helped make the wait shorter. I was more in the mood for food, so I got The Gobbler sandwich. I loved all the veggies and havarti cheese mixed in this sandwich since it went well with the roast turkey slices. I tend to like Turkey sandwiches, but I didn't find much in their menu so I would like if they had a bigger variety. I'd recommend this place! The sandwich I got was good and later I found out that you can build your own sandwich, but I didn't know that when I ordered.

Yelp
I ordered The Grec (rotisserie chicken, tomato, cucumber, red onion, herbed yogurt) as a salad. It was fine, but underwhelming. The base was mixed greens. The chicken was mostly dark meat, and I wish it had been at least been half dark/white meat or that there was a choice.

Yelp
Whenever I'm craving a tuna melt, this is the place that fills that craving. It pairs well with their tomato bisque. They have interesting can and bottled drink selections. Today they had different flavored seltzer. If I'm up for something bubbly with my food, I'm always reaching for their bottle of root beer. This place isn't as packed as their sister store, B Patisserie. Service is fast and the place is cozy. It's a great place to just sit down, grab a bite to eat and go back to exploring the city. Parking can be difficult because it's street parking, be definitely worth circling around for.

Yelp
Stopped here on a rainy day and it was the perfect hit! We got the tomato bisque soup with ham & cheese sandwich. The tomato bisque was creamy, slightly sweet and salty. With the ham & cheese sandwich it was the perfect duo. The hand & cheese sandwich was made out of one big slice of bread and was extra cheesy. Pro tip: walk across the street and go to B. Patisserie. It's worth the wait!

Yelp
I was in the area and after looking at the nearby lunch options, decided to grab a sandwich here. It's a nice bright corner spot and the gentleman behind the counter took my order right away. It looks like it may not always be on the menu but I got a roasted Turkey sandwich with bacon and other fixins. The desserts looked good but I decided to skip today. I took a window seat and my sandwich was brought to my table in about 5 minutes. Despite the large workspace they have in the back, it was fairly quiet with some chill music playing. My sandwich ran about $11 which I thought was good considering the reputation I have in my head about b. Patisserie. I'd definitely return and recommend.

Yelp
I was visiting my sister and she suggested we get some sandwiches for lunch at this location. It was a weekday slightly after normal lunch hours so we were able to find ample seating for 4. The food came relatively quickly and tasted so amazingly fresh. We tried several options and the pork banh mi was my favorite. The cauliflower banh mi was good but I just wouldn't get it again at that price point. Definitely recommend!
google avatar

Yelp
Got their ham & cheese croissant. Pretty solid, though I've gotten their other sandwiches before and thought they were pretty average. I believe that their breakfast sandwiches menu (which is separate from the main menu) is definitely the way to go! Service was as per usual, I ordered quickly and then had a seat. Name was called out & I picked up my food. I do like the ambiance- it has that casual cafe ambiance where you would be fine to just sit and work on your laptop. They do play music in the background which might be a bit loud, though I believed it was at the perfect level- where it wasn't too distracting.

Yelp
A cute spot to grab a quick and delicious lunch. The staff was so friendly and brought out the food so quickly. I ordered a tuna melt and a side salad and I haven't scarfed down a sandwich and salad so quickly in a long time. The salad is very simple and tossed in a vinaigrette and I loved every bite. I definitely recommend!

Yelp
Mom always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and B on the Go's great vegetarian breakfast sandwich makes it special. Hint: The breakfast sandwiches are only served on weekends. I happened to be nearby, and thought I'd order the cauliflower banh mi, when another guest said the sandwiches are large. I noticed the breakfast sandwich menu and chose the vegetarian one, with a house made potato bun instead of the cheese scone. They looked so light and fluffy. My sandwich was quickly made, and the counterperson is quite nice and knowledgeable. This is a generous sandwich, and the potato bun is delicious. How could one include so many ingredients that are perfectly balanced? It's warm too! The garlic aioli is a great touch. I will return to try the other sandwiches, and on the weekend for an important breakfast. I suggest you do too!

Yelp
As I craved something savory so instead of B. patisserie I decided to walk cross the street and stopped here to try their sandwiches. Incredibly delicious and fresh, could not ask for more. Perfect for quick bite also has a space to enjoy the meal.

Yelp
First time. A casual spot across from the main location. They feature sandwiches, salads, and a few baked items. We had the tuna melt and banh mi. Service was friendly and efficient. The sandwiches are made to order so they can take a few minutes to make. The banh mi had a good taste but we were surprised that it was not served on the traditional soft roll, but rather a larger sandwich type bread. The tuna melt also had great taste and was exactly as expected in terms of presentation and taste. Both sandwiches were filling. We couldn't get over that the banh mi was non traditional and didn't quite meet up to the "expectations" for a traditional Vietnamese sandwich. Nonetheless, t was still a pleasant sandwich. The best item was the cookie. Substantial, sweet, chewy, and full of flavor with every bite. We tried to buy a second one since the first was eaten in minutes but it was sold out. We settled for the traditional chocolate chip cookie which mind you was also very good as each bite contained chips that melt in your hands and mouth, but the oatmeal cherry was by far the best, IMO because it's not a typical cookie that you would find. Check this casual spot out for a place to chill and enjoy a nice lunch.

Yelp
Really solid sandwiches! Got the gobbler with spicy mayo which cones on hard bread. Interesting option to have brussel sprouts in a sandwich as well. Toasted to just the right temperature and about $12 per sandwich is great for SF pricing. Large indoor seating space too

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday morning and was the best start to the day! We ordered the Braised Pork Belly and Friend Chicken sandwiches, which are weekend only specials. Both were amazing but if I had to pick one, I would've chosen the fried chicken. It came with a delicious white sausage gravy sauce that I could devour by itself. The braised pork belly was also great with a generous portion of egg. Though the sandwiches are on the moderate side, they are a great in between of satisfied but not overfull. But if you come super hungry, maybe just order two because you'll be able to try another great sandwich anyways! Can't wait to come back here!

Yelp
I loved B on the Go! My fiancé and I go to b patisserie all the time, but we wanted breakfast before we had their delicious kouign amann. Saw that b on the go was right at the corner and decided to give it a try, amazing!! Their service was great, gave us recommendations, and chit chatted with us, wish I remembered his name!! I got the gobbler, which was pretty good, couldn't go wrong with it, and my fiancé had the banh mi, which he's usually picky about, but he loved this one, the meat was super tender!! Their bread was super fluffy and tasty. Definitely will be coming back!!

Chet M.

Yelp
Ehhhhhh. I got the banh mi. It was ... tolerable, but nothing so great. 1. roll was too tough 2. meat (pork belly) was inadequately spiced 3. pickled carrots/daikon were incorrectly pickled (not sweet at all) As a sandwich, it was fine, I guess. But it wasn't a banh mi, or at least, not a decent banh mi.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Good place for a sandwich though it is a little pricey for the relatively small portion. The pork belly in the Bahn mi is very good, the combination of ingredients creates a very tasty and satisfying flavor. The ham and cheese was also good though not as interesting. I also got a ginger beer which I liked a lot. The service was good and we got our food pretty quickly. They have free water as well. Overall, a great place for a quick bite. Much better sandwich than your Panera for a similar price.
google avatar

Candice N.

Yelp
Smack dab in the middle of the city, this cozy café serves up delicious and hearty organic breakfast options, salads, and sandwiches made with local ingredients. "Grab B in the Go"
google avatar

Michael K.

Yelp
Great little sandwich place. The Gobbler is on my short list for best sandwiches in the city: a perfect turkey and bacon masterpiece. Also love the cherry oatmeal toffee cookies. Great ambiance too: lots of windows and natural light, and plenty of seating. Service tends to be pretty quick. They used to also have this amazing fried chicken sandwich on weekends, that went away for a while, bur I think is back. I need to go on a weekend again, cause that fried chicken sandwich...mmmmm
google avatar

Alyssa B.

Yelp
Love the Porchetta sandwich, chicken grec salad and side of Brussels! The mochi is also delicious!

Yelp
Went in on Thursday at 3pm. Club like loud music blaring. Way too loud to talk inside. Also not welcoming to people when the music is that loud. Bahmi potk belly sandwich was super soggy. I don't think they strained the carrots/veggies enough. Porkbelly was dry and tough. The roasted brussel sprouts were barely cooked and difficult to chew, but nicely charred. Only order if you have good teeth and can chew well. Best thing I ate was the chocolate fudge cookie. The staff was nice.

Angelene C.

Yelp
I came here on a rainy day and made an order for pick up through the phone. I was indecisive as many of the sandwiches sounded very enticing, but ended up going with the banh mi. Very delicious, rate 10/10 !!!! The service was amazing as well. The guy was very friendly over the phone, and when I had questions about the cookies in the front, he was very helpful. Not too big of a restaurant, and if it weren't for them closing soon after I bought my food, I would have ate there!
google avatar

Jessica O.

Yelp
I came to b. on the go for the first time for a late lunch. You order at the counter and there are a couple of tables inside for seating. I got the porchetta sandwich and my boyfriend ordered the cauliflower banh mi and a side salad. The food came out pretty quickly but it wasn't too busy inside. The porchetta sandwich came with thinly sliced pieces of porchetta, chicharrónes, arugula, and a pesto sauce on ciabatta bread. The porchetta was seasoned well, and the generous portion of delicious and fatty slices of pork was definitely the star of the sandwich. The small, crushed up pieces of chicharrónes added a great textural contrast to the fatty and tender pork. The bread was also fresh and had a great chew without being too hard. Overall, I was happy with my sandwich and I felt like the cost was reasonable. My boyfriend wasn't really a fan of the cauliflower banh mi, he felt that it needed more sauce since the cauliflower was pretty bland. I'd come back here in a pinch and I'd definitely try other items on the menu.
google avatar

Derek S.

Yelp
Came by for lunch the other day and it was a fantastic experience! Street parking in Pac Heights was available. The staff working behind the counter were all wearing masks along with Shamrock brand latex examination gloves for safety. Ordered the Porchetta salad and it was huge! The salad was very fresh and light. The vinaigrette was also light and wasn't overly acidic! The porchetta was very fresh out of the oven, warm and super tender! Portions were huge! Sufficient for lunch and dinner! They have plenty of tables for indoor dining. There is also a bathroom next to the bussing counter!
google avatar

Yelp
B on the go has some of the BEST vegetarian sandwiches in SF (I've tried a lot of places!). Our favorites here are the Cauliflower banh mi and the Brussel sprouts with Parmesan. The salads are decent too, but their veggie sandwiches are what stand out to us the most and keep us coming back for more. The portions are generous for the price, and the ingredients are consistently fresh. Cauliflower banh mi- the bread is the perfect crispy texture and portion is balanced with the other ingredients. The flavors of pickled veggies, cauliflower, jalapeño, and spicy mayo pop on your taste buds. It can be a little messy, but that's part of the fun my dream sandwich would be this one with some slices of avocado, although I don't think the restaurant currently allows for this customization through their online orders system. Brussel sprouts with Parmesan and anchovies- the focaccia bread on this one is to die for. It's super fresh and has a nice glutinous chew. The Brussel sprouts have a good char and are cooked to ideal texture. The Parmesan flavor is complementary to the subtle bitterness of the sprouts. My fiancé would've liked more anchovy flavor but that's her personal preference. This sandwich is also very messy, beware We are really excited to try their mushroom cheese sandwich next time we visit!
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Always a solid spot for sandwiches. My go to is still the porchetta sandwich. The bread holds the ingredients well and the arugula provides a bit of freshness. Also had the roast beef torta. The peppers, cheese paired well with the roast beef. It's a bit of a messier sandwich. They are currently just doing takeout. Take your sandwich to Alta Plaza Park and eat, while enjoying great views of the city!

Michael R.

Yelp
I've been here a few times on the weekend for their breakfast sandwiches and while the food is quite tasty they've gotten my order wrong more than once and the people at the register are not very responsive. The tomato bisque I ordered with my sandwich was given to a different customer the last time I was here and that pretty much killed my interest in coming back. Still, my experience doesn't seem to be the norm here so maybe you'll have better luck with the customer service.
google avatar

Josie D.

Yelp
The porchetta sandwich brought me back to Italy. Pork was tenderand juicy with so much flavor!! SO delicious!! The brussel sprouts were perfectly cooked and topped with the right amount of parmesan. Couldn't decide which cookie to get so I got both. So glad that I did!! Service was awesome! The crew was very nice and welcoming!

Yelp
Surprised o haven't reviewed this place yet but I've been here many times before and even now during quarantine they provide a sense of normalcy to my past trips into the city. They had easy ordering online via the website and ordered porchetta Sandwich and lots of pastries. The porchetta meat has the right amount of fat and they add just enough skin cracklings to give it a good crunch. It is also placed on an artisan bread roll with greens so it is a very good lunch sandwich. For the pastries, I highly recommend the KA and the chocolate chip cookie if you haven't had them before. Honestly it is my favorite cookie of all time. See my b. Pattisere review to see what I mean. During covid 2020 they are open Friday Saturday and Sunday and allow you to order online or at the store. I recommend ordering ahead so you don't have to wait as long and your items are boxed up for you to enjoy at home. Pickup line had 1 person in front of me where the order and wait line was around a dozen deep. If you order there, you order at the register and they call you when your box/bag is ready. For pickup they had my items ready when I arrived. Support local and shop small.

Yelp
The cauliflower banh mi had vibrant flavors and felt quite healthy. The porchetta sandwich had thin-sliced meat and a zesty chimichurri. Brussels sprouts were good but could have used some acid. We will drive into the city specifically for B Patisserie. We still enjoyed our meal at B on the Go, although I wouldn't make the drive specifically for it.
google avatar

Matt C.

Yelp
Fast and friendly service and great food. I've tried every sandwich in their menu. I've never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes, or more than ten minutes for my order. While all of their sandwiches are delicious, I give high praise to the carnitas, the cauliflower bhan mi, and the vegetarian breakfast sandwich that is unfortunately only available in weekends. The chocolate chip cookies are amazing, too!
google avatar

Lance L.

Yelp
Perfect sandwich spot that gets the job done at an affordable price for the quality. Customer service has improved but was an issue in the past. Overall solid spot.

Nancy L.

Yelp
Had the porchetta today and it was good. Haven't had it in a while but it was tasty. Could have used more pork skins for added crunch and the price is fair for Bay Area

Yelp
On my most recent SF trip, I met up with some friends at B on the Go based off of their recommendation. They have a very simple menu consisting of a few sandwiches, salads, and sides. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food that you receive. The prices can range from $4 for sides on up to $9-10 for salads and sandwiches. // FOOD // Porchetta: Served with chimichurri and arugula on a house ciabatta. This sandwich has plenty of flavor and comes out on a fresh ciabatta roll. The crunch from the pork skin along with the tender meat gives the sandwich a nice texture profile. 4/5 Roasted Brussels Sprouts: anchovy, lemon, and parmesan. My friends were raving about the Brussels sprouts so I had to try them out. Think of Brussels sprouts topped with Caesar dressing. So it's a salad? Not really, but it was a great addition to the sandwich and had plenty of flavor too. 4/5 Overall, B on the Go was a great spot for lunch. The food and sides were excellent and the prices are very reasonable for the city. I would definitely recommend coming here for fresh and delicious food!

Yelp
I stopped by B on the Go for my lunch break and order a Chicken Grec Sandwich with a Chocolate Chip Cookie for dessert. The Chicken Grec came with rotisserie chicken, herbed yogurt, cucumber, tomato, red onion on a house soft roll. I thought the sandwich was bland, chicken was moist but the sandwich overall was lacking depth/flavor. The Chocolate Chip cookie was fresh but had too many chocolate chunks in it, nothing special. Nice looking restaurant, friendly employees, but I was pretty disappointed with what I ordered. I will have to give other menu items a try next time.
google avatar

Amy C.

Yelp
Came here for lunch. Sandwiches are about $10, and there is a pretty broad selection. I got the pork belly bahn mi ($9.50), which was very filling. The pork belly didn't have as much flavor as I would like and was a little fatty, but overall it made for a satisfying lunch. Service was fast and the sandwich came out quickly. Overall I thought almost $10 for a bahn mi without any sides like a salad or fries was pretty expensive. I also tried their Brussels sprouts and home fries (both $4) which are pretty good.
google avatar

Mari M.

Yelp
Got the chicken grec, porchetta, and side of Brussels sprouts. When waiting for my food, I did see a worker playing on his phone with his food service gloves on... in the time of COVID- can u say yuck?!! Chicken grec has a nice balance of flavors and the tzaziki sauce was tasty. Porchetta lacked any kind of flavor and just tasted super oily. Brussels sprouts were decent but didn't blow me away. Overall food was okay, but probably won't be back.

Yelp
Been missing the porchetta sammies which I used to get for lunch from Roli Roti pre-Covid. Now that I don't go to the Ferry Building anymore, I was so happy when I discovered this place also has porchetta sandwiches. Located in a corner diagonally across B Patisserie The sandwich here is hearty and super tasty. Pork is very tender and love the crunchy bits of chicharrones too. Can't wait to have it again

Yelp
Perfect weekend spot for to go sandwiches or dine in. Have been here multiple times for a quick breakfast and brunch. They have a great variety of brunch and lunch sandwiches. We always get the banh mi and roast beef sandwich - both fresh and delicious. Roast beef sandwich with multiple types of cheese is dreamy - they roast all their own meats for their sandwiches. The green juice is also a great add and you can always get theirs breakfast rolls and cookies here without the wait! Service is fantastic, great light filled dining area and prices are typical for the area 12-14 a sandwich and 5 for the green juice!

Yelp
Delicious, I can't wait to go back. I saw the menu was very simple: Bahn mi sandwiches or the same made into a salad for a dollar more. I chose the pork belly and it was delicious diced into morsels over tender greens and cilantro leaves and lightly tossed in a vinaigrette. The roasted Brussels sprouts looked tantalizing and I couldn't say "no" when I read they're accompanied by aioli. The aioli tasted like it had lemon zest; it had a nice zing. I wish I'd asked for the aioli on the side because it was a little too much and swamped the sprouts. I saw the much-talked-about rotisserie oven behind the counter but nothing was roasting. That said, it might've been too much to bear waiting in a long but fast-moving line at lunchtime! I ordered "the shrub", a lightly carbonated drink with a mix of lime and mint- refreshing. I took home a piece of olive oil cake and while I liked it, I was expecting a denser cake, not one that was fluffy. It was just okay. B on the Go was busy on an average Wednesday, impressive and speaks to the restaurant's quality.

Yelp
Why haven't I eaten here sooner?? Their sandwiches are purely mouthwatering deliciousness. I came right when they opened at 11 and there were already a few customers trickling behind me. I ordered the porchetta and the chicken grec. The porchetta came with arugula and a good amount of meat. The chicken grec was saucy and flavorful. I really appreciate the bread in the chicken grec, not too tough on my teeth, but soft and also crisp enough :). I tried the cucumber shrub which is a bubbly drink. My bf thought it tasted too similar to pickles, but I didn't think so. I liked the drink but would rather try their other flavors like guava! Parking isn't easy around here. The entire block is metered unless you get lucky on the street (2hr parking w/o residential permit). I'd come back and try their other sandwiches. Everything and anything from Belinda is good and worthwhile. If you haven't, I recommend walking over to B patisserie!!

Yelp
Oh man, this is definitely my new favorite sandwich shop! I already love b patisserie for their flat breads and pastries but I've recently been coming here for their sandwiches and they have all been tasty! There's usually a short line but orders come out real fast! I've tried the weekend special fried chicken sandwich and it was amazing. The batter is perfectly crispy, slightly spicy and incredibly juicy inside. I loved how it's topped with some honey and sausage gravy. It's definitely a hearty sandwich but I'm glad I got to try it after seeing all these pictures of it! I also tried the porchetta sandwich and it's the most tender pork I've ever had. It also goes so well with the veggies and the chicarrones. I am literally drooling as I wrote this review! I'm glad it's so close to me cause I'll definitely be back for more in the future! Oh yeah, don't forget to try out some the pastries in the display. The cherry oat toffee cookie is out of this world! It sounds like a weird combo but it's really amazing! We also shared a butter mochi and it reminds me of Hawaii and I'm absolutely in love with it. I've ordered a slice every time I've gone! Total for 2: $35

Yelp
This place is one of my favorites in pac heights! The sandwiches are unique, super affordable and taste great! I tried the porchetta which seems to be the most popular sandwich here and i can see why it gets the hype. The sandwich is filled with meat and is definitely meant to be an indulgent sandwich. The meat is tender with some fatty parts and the sandwich is sprinkled with crispy chicharrones which gives it a nice crunch. It comes on super fresh ciabatta bread and a chimichurri herb sauce. The only thing I would have changed would have been a less oil based sauce (since the sandwich is already rich) and less fatty pieces in the sandwich. I came back again the next weekend and tried the roast beef sandwich which was tasty but less unique and had less meat. You can also get a small selection of pastries here but the vast selection is at B. Patisserie which I have written a review on as well. In short, pastries are amazing!
