Baba Kebab (HALAL FOOD)

I came here with a couple of friends on a Saturday afternoon, not expecting much. They're located in a corner where several other shawarma carts are located in, so I figured it would just be another option but nothing exceptional. I was wrong. I ordered the Shish Kebap, and was given a very hearty, filled to the brim, dürüm (a wrap) filled with veggies and beef. The beef is tender, marinated to near perfection and juicy. The vegetables are finely chopped, compliment the beef well, rather than overwhelming it, and add nice texture to the dürüm. Even though they're 18 dollars, they're big enough for two portions if you cut them in half (each dürüm is like a pound worth of food). Highly recommended place, street food with excellent, restaurant-level quality. Service was great, even if a bit slow but it's understandable, due to how well made everything is.

This is a MUST EAT. Doesn’t matter where you’re from. You’ll love their food, if you like good food. Adana was amazing. Shish kabob was amazing. Owner and the crew are super nice and friendly. 100/10. Definitely coming back.

Grade A (97): We had to drive around a bit, Google maps points to address on Sunset Blvd, it's actually around the corner on Figueroa, don't give up, it's well worth it. Everything is grilled on Charcoal. Very nice Persian guys running the stand. Please be patient with them, everyone (including us) ordered many sandwiches, they can only go fast, these are not pre-made, they cook right there so if you're in a hurry, go to McDonald's!!! We ordered the Ribeye steak 🥩 I watched him grill it on the charcoal and it was amazing (bone in), also ordered the beef kebab, chicken kebab, ground beef Koubideh, and the lamb. I was hesitating with the lamb at first but it was delicious. Everything was delicious. I will definitely go back. The whole thing (4 sandwiches and the Ribeye Steak) cost about $100. It was just the 2 of us, portions were big so we took a few pieces to each of our homes. Good 👍👏👏

Good portions, tastes fresh. Great price. Plenty Tables/chairs for eating at. Also glad to sit &chill over to the side while they finish cooking. Guys working are gueinly nice folks. And The vibe is always upbeat and friendly. $12 Chicken kabob will fill you up. Best prriced streetfood you'll get on this block for sure (Sunset & Figueroa)

The food taste really good! Vegs are fresh and the meat are flavorful. Also very fair price with large portions. Definitely will come back

Found this place through YouTube or instagram and it did not disappoint! They make their kebabs on a charcoal fire and they are seasoned to perfection. They have 1 item which is a wrap filled with onion, parsley, and tomato with a choice of chicken beef or lamb

This place never fails me!!! It’s delicious and you can taste the smokiness in the meats 🔥🔥🔥the tomato/onion/parsley and meats are made to order and it’s so fresh! Meat is marinated super well. Can’t get enough of it. Fairly priced. You won’t regret coming here.

Truly delicious, fully deserves its 5-star rating. If you don't believe me, you'll understand after you come and eat here. It's really great, I'll definitely come back, I'm already coming!

Maybe because there's a bunch of other stands in the area each night, this place has limited offerings. They pretty much specialize in kebap wraps with three different types of meat. Even though the menu is pretty streamlined, they do what they do very well. I ordered a chicken wrap, and the meat was well seasoned, and it was really juicy. Sometimes when I order chicken, especially grilled, I worry that it's too dry. Not the case here. Along with the grilled meats, the wraps are stuffed with fresh herbs and chopped tomato and onions - not unlike a fresh pico de gallo. The guys making her food and taking your orders are very cool. The vibe is like a group cookout. And excuse my ignorance, but it seemed like a lot of the folks enjoying the food as well here were of the same ethnicity or culture as the gents cooking. That gave me an additional comfort I'm in the right place. If you're looking for delicious kebap wraps for a reasonable price and a nice community like feel, this is the place. Also note - I think two of my reviews of different vendors in the area were merged into the same vendor then both deleted, so my pics are gone. :( My visit was early 9/2025

It was delicious!! Simple ingredients with huge flavor. I went right after work. Everyone was nice and service was fast. No frills just good food. There's seating available but I can imagine this place gets busy. I would have taken a picture but I was starving.

Best tasting chicken I have ever had! The guys are always so nice to me and my boyfriend. One time I even fainted in front of their stand and the owner rushed to my rescue. As embarrassing as it was, I still come because the food is that good!!!!!

I came across this place when I went to check out the Colombian food truck that parks next to it. I came back to try it out and it is nothing like what I have try before. The food is so tasty and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I tend to avoid trying new spots because Im allergic to certain ingredients such as meat tenderizer but after I eat this I felt great, and didnt have any issues. I have came back a few more times in the last 3 weeks as my after gym treat and even with the rain the service is amazing and food quality continues to be 10/10. I know this place is getting the attention it deserves and it keeps living up to the expectations :)
