Closing time is at 8pm on Sundays, my Husband and I went in at 7:36p. The host asked me to wait, then asked the manager where to sit myself and my husband. The manager came out and told her employee in a clipped and short tone that we could not be sat at a table because it was too close to closing time and if we wanted to order, we'd have to do take-out. She never even talked to us even though we were right there.
The manager also stated that there were "No tables clear" when there were 2 tables completely open (see below pictures), and other patrons had just told us that they were just sat at a table.
24 minutes before the marked closing at a normal dinner hour should not equate to business being turned away in the first place, let alone in such a blatantly rude and passive-aggressive way.
Being gay, my Husband and I are used to being discriminated against, but not when the business is flying a pride flag on its door and states that it's LGBTQ+ friendly.
Would absolutely not recommend to our LGBTQ+ friends and allies in this area.
