We had a wonderful dinner at BABO, a Georgian restaurant that blends traditional flavors with a modern twist. The décor is incredibly tasteful — a perfect mix of contemporary design and warm, inviting touches. We sat on the terrace, which was lively and atmospheric thanks to the live music playing that evening.
We started with two different salads — both were fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. Then came a seasonal khachapuri with dill and mushrooms, something we’d never tried before. The fragrance from the dill and mushrooms gave it a unique and unforgettable taste — a delightful summer variation.
Next, we had khinkali, and honestly, these were the best we’ve had in town. The dough was beautifully elastic, and the broth inside was rich and deeply flavorful.
To drink, we had a feijoa compot and a non-alcoholic cocktail that was super refreshing — perfect for a warm summer evening.
Special thanks to our waitress, Dana, who truly elevated the experience. She was attentive, warm, and ensured everything went smoothly throughout the night.
Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
