"In the span of a year, Baby Loves Tacos went from cooking on a small portable grill on Penn Avenue to opening their own brick-and-mortar in the heart of Bloomfield. Even a few years later, this place can sell out on any night, so plan to get here well before closing (8pm weekdays, closed weekends). The menu features tacos, burritos, and bowls with specialties like cinnamon brisket and smoked pork, in addition to great vegetarian options like adobo carrots and buffalo cauliflower. It’s basically take-out only since there’s very little standing room, but even if you have to eat out on the sidewalk, it’s worth stopping by for lunch if you’re in or around the neighborhood." - Madeline Quigley

"Former Philly resident Zachary Shell opened stealthily in Bloomfield, debuting with a sign that read “Jim’s Wraps and Salads” and a pay-what-you-will menu. A surprise visit from the health department ended up a blessing in that it fast-tracked the restaurant’s inspection — and official opening in January. Today, you’ll find a proper sign along with Shell’s quirky DIY style. Expect a menu of Mission-style burritos, tacos, bowls, and nachos with options like grocery-aisle El Paso beef, chorizo, and sweet potato with feta, almonds, and scallions." - Melissa McCart

Very very nice tacos, burritos, and other Mexican-American classics. They are pretty famous for their bigly burritos, which (I can confirm) are definitely very large. And very tasty. I got to try out their roasted chicken Bigly burrito. The chicken burrito was very good. They stuffed it with tons of rice, beans, chicken, and cheese. Some places over stuff their burritos with rice, but this place keeps it nice and balanced. The chicken is seasoned super well, and it's tender as well. The cheese was a little clumped and somewhat out of place, but it still tasted pretty good. Great portion (enough for 2 meals) and reasonable price. All in all, I'd definitely recommend this spot. It's only open for restricted hours, but if you get the chance to visit, I'd definitely do it. Check out their huge burritos!

Google
Amazing! 10/10 everything...so fresh and flavorful. This has got to be one of the best places to eat in the city. We've only had 4 items so far, but based on those-- I bet you can't go wrong with their whole menu. Can't wait to go back! Worth the drive from wherever you are

Google
I can't believe I haven't left them a review before but this time I finally remembered to take a pic before devouring the food. This time around got the gordito burrito with beef and chips and salsa. Both delicious! I was actually shocked at the amount of flavor packed into the salsa. The burrito is so filling that I might save half for later. In the past have also had their limeade, which is delicious, and different kinds of breakfast burritos....the BBQ mushroom is fantastic. These are awesome people making awesome food. They never disappoint.

Google
Great tacos and enchiladas! We loved the mushroom and cauliflower tacos and the verde enchiladas. Tons of veggie options here. Make sure to get a side of their hot sauce too. No indoor dining, but they have tables set up outside.

Google
Good taste to the food, but the majority of my burrito was almost entirely rice, as shown. I also didn’t get the sides of sour cream and hot sauce that I ordered, which makes for somewhat of a disappointing burrito eating experience. Chorizo queso has a TON of grease. I’ve been pretty happy with my orders in the past, but after this trip, I'm not sure I’ll be going back.

Google
it was delicious and they use seemingly high quality ingredients, but this 1 Birria burrito is $15! Take out only. Edit for their response: I understand how overhead and cost of sales works for a business and im not knocking you alone on your prices, more just in disbelief of our current economy. Thanks for the burrito and good luck to you all!

Google
Literally the best tacos experience I have ever had. Easy ordering, fast service, and of course, delicious tacos. I had ground beef, Chorizo, and buffalo cauliflower, with sour cream on the top. All of them are warmly served. Tacos are richly stuffed with fillings; once you grab one, you can feel the weight. This is the first time I try buffalo cauliflower, but this combination kicks. Not very spicy but flavorful and juicy. Will definitely come back for other flavors and burrito. Outside seating is also a good reason to visit, especially with this 70 degree sunny weather.

Google
Great place for a quick meal. Friendly staff with super fast service. There are several tables and chairs if you can’t wait to eat your food. They have great vegetarian options for the tacos, quesadillas, and burritos. Plus the have breakfast burritos AND tacos!! If you’re in the area and need a quick bite, definitely check this place out.

Yelp
Been recommending this place for years. The people here are so nice and always gave a great attitude. I highly recommend the smothered burrito, especially if you want to save some for later because it's huge!

Yelp
I'd heard great things about this spot and I really like their vibe and menu; however, I didn't love their burritos whenever we finally got around to trying them this summer. I found them to be soggy and flavorless, which is especially disappointing because I got a San Diego burrito in hopes of having that nice, almost hashbrown-esqe texture you get from the addition of fries to the burrito (and no, I didn't make any additions/substitutions that would cause it to come out that way). I was also disappointed that it didn't come with any salsas on the side - trying the different salsa varieties is always one of my favorite parts of getting street tacos/burritos! Maybe their tacos are better than their burritos? This place always gets so much hype that I just have to imagine we ordered the wrong thing!

Yelp
Food: I had the breakfast burrito and was so blown away. Got mine with steak and chorizo and was really happy with it. The menu has suggestions but appears to be largely build your own which is cool. Service: Super nice, friendly and respectful. Just a window but it was speedy which I appreciated as I was in a little bit of a rush Ambiance: Doesn't really have one haha, it's just a window stand but it's got little tables outside and Bloomfield is generally a cool little spot Overall: My buddy recommended it to me and I was super happy he did, will def be back soon to sample more of the menu but felt comfortable rating on this single experience given how good it was.

Yelp
I've been frequenting this place for years now and the quality has never disappointed. If you enjoy Chipotle, you will probably love BLT. It is a similar concept, but much higher quality ingredients and thoughtfully designed concepts. My typical order is the cheesy Gordita crunch. It is ground beef with cheese sauce, rice, crunchy tortilla bits, and some other fixings. I also recently tried the San Diego style burrito which has waffle fries inside. They recently started making breakfast items, which I've yet to try, but looking forward to. Worth noting, their hot sauce is quite spicy, so beware if you are in any way sensitive to spice. The staff are always pleasant and accommodating to requests. If you order online, the estimated pickup time is usually very accurate. There is no dining area, so take out only. Also, there's just a window to order through from the sidewalk, so there's really nowhere to wait if you did not order online and don't have a car parked nearby.

Taylor B.

Yelp
Service was quick, efficient and kind I got the tacos... I got three different kinds, one chicken, one Carne Asada and one chorizo. I almost crashed my car to eat these before I got home because they smelled delicious and I couldn't wait any longer. I got the hot sauce on the tacos and... they were so worth it.

Yiying X.

Yelp
Handsdown the best taco shop in the neighborhood! So flavorful and fulfilling with great value! Carnes Asada Taco - the flank steak is so tender and delicious, can't go wrong with this one! $5/taco is such a steal. Chicken taco salad $12 + guac $2 - plenty of chicken thigh meat and toppings (roasted corn, salsa, etc) on a bed of crunchy romaine, the box is so heavy, great value! Adding the guac is a must to me, also comes with a lemony dressing, side of hot sauce and sour cream, recommend.

Jeremy M.

Yelp
Had the queso birria brisket tacos, and they were delicious. My wife had carne asade which were equally as tasty - So good that I can't wait to go back! The woman working the window was very charming and friendly, which gives you even more reason to support their business. Next time I'd mix the tacos up or try a breakfast taco!

Trish T.

Yelp
A mighty tasty hole in the wall here! Went recently for lunch w/ hubby. Our visit started with the friendliest woman at their old-fashioned walk-up window. We ordered fresh guac and chips (all home made, all flavorful yummyness). The tacos are made with - hallelujah- CORN tortillas. Fresh. Fresh. Hubs got a chorizo sausage taco and a chicken taco. Another Yelper got a rec to blend these 2 meats - cuz the chorizo is quite oily and intense -- and I think that's the better way to go. Still - each packed a good deal of flavor. I chose a veggie bowl, and while I appreciated the nice window lady telling me to "just get both" mushrooms AND cauliflower as I was puzzling over which to get, getting both king of got lost in this mammoth bowl mixed in with other super fresh ingredients: rice, beans, greens, red onion, salsa, hot sauce, on and on. Still- everything was so so good. We grabbed a 2-top table on the sidewalk by the street -- so, zero ambiance here, but u kinda know that going in, so who cares! Bravo, taco team! Can't wait to go back.

Samantha R.

Yelp
Tacos were solid! Nothing super memorable but tasty nonetheless. I like that it's a walk up window and not a sit down place because it's accessible and quick. It's located in a great neighborhood (Bloomfield) on a busy street with a lot of other options. You can tell the quality of the meat is good and the ingredients are fresh.

Dakota T.

Yelp
I wasn't quite sure what to expect here since I grew up on California Mexican food and while I can't quite compare this to Mexican food out West I can say it's tasty! I got 3 tacos and a regular burrito - in my regular burrito I got half chicken and half ground beef (ground beef doesn't exist as an option in California haha), which was awesome that they let me do half/half. I'd say the burrito was better value than the tacos but they were tasty as well!

Aaron W.

Yelp
Fun and colorful taqueria in Bloomfield. We grabbed takeout here during COVID and they have a nice storefront setup for picking up online orders. Menu is pretty standardized - basically you get one of several meat/veggie combos in the form of a burrito, bowl, or tacos. My wife got the chorizo bowl and I got the smothered beef burrito. Both were gigantic and very filling and the smothered burrito was indeed drenched in hot sauce. Both were also very heavy on the meat and rice and lighter on the veggies and garnishes. So the meal ended up feeling huge but not all that interesting or healthy. They did have some vegetarian options like sweet potato or buffalo cauliflower so maybe those would have been more interesting. Cute place, so we would definitely go back to try more.

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
Definitely get the mix of three veggie soft tacos! So yummy and unusual and the portions are large!

Zac W.

Yelp
Baby Loves Lunch Breaks. Pro Tip: don't pay for your meter until you make sure they're not on a break. I made that mistake for you. It's an hour and a half long lunch break they take in the middle of the day. There are multiple people working yet they close the entire place for an hour and a half. I watched multiple people walk up, wonder why they were closed in the middle of operating hours, and just leave. Odd business practice for a walk up window joint.

Alyssa A.

Yelp
We tried two different burritos, a variety of tacos and chips + queso. The burritos were delicious! Tacos were great as well, but the chorizo was a bit too salty for our liking. Delicious queso with a nice little kick! Washed it all down with a Mexican Coke- yum! My favorite part, though, was the staff. Everyone was SO kind. Looking forward to visiting again!

Alden M.

Yelp
BEST PLACE IN PITTSBURGH FOR TACOS, BURRITOS AND MORE! Their food is top notch. Quite literally close your eyes and put your finger down on one of their menu items and order it. You won't be disappointed. I personally recommend the breakfast burrito. The staff is very friendly and treats you like family. I come here at least twice a week. Great people. If you haven't tried Baby Loves Tacos you need to. This place is great and my favorite spot in Pittsburgh to get a bite to eat.

Cass B.

Yelp
There is a ton of heart a soul in this place. I've not met the owners but judging from their social media presence, I am a big fan. It's a couple with a young kid. They seem like hard workers that put a lot of themselves into the restaurant. It's hard for me to not want to spend my money there. Their tacos are fire. There is something for everyone. Brisket to vegan options. I've tried a solid chunk of their menu and never been disappointed. The flavors are on point. They also provided some of the food for my wife and I's wedding party back in 2019, so I can attest to their catering prowess as well. Yinz looking for fast, casual tacos that go beyond some of the gringo taco offerings in our area served with love? Look no further. Baby Loves Tacos.

April H.

Yelp
I like the concept of getting your tacos at a window. The service was pretty quick and the staff was nice. We got the Bigly Gordita Crunch Beef Burrito, the Carne Asada Queso Birria Tacos, and Brisket Chili to share between 2 people. The flavors were good overall, but everything was way too oily/greasy, so we weren't able to finish any dish in one sitting. I was a little disappointed.

Amber Q.

Yelp
A cute little place. You walk up to thr window and order. They do have a few outside tables you can eat at or take your food to go... you can mix and match your tacos which is always a plus for me. We got tacos and nachos. The tacos are aooooooo good. They are packed full. The sauce they make for them is spicy but fresh and delicious. I like the nachos. The chips were a let down. The basic circle chip yoj buy at hee grocery but why thing else was good. I also had the fresh limade. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. I didn't take pics of my food. I guess I got to excited to dig in!

Renee G.

Yelp
The guacamole alone is worth the trip! Great service. I got the birria tacos. They were made with delicious tender beef brisket. I'll definitely go back.

Katie M.

Yelp
Delicious, quality, juicy tacos at a good price, what more could you ask for? $10 gets you three loaded tacos with tons of fresh toppings. Lots of VEGAN and VEG friendly options as well as gluten free corn tortillas. Loses a star because I've tried to go here twice when they've randomly been closed without warning? Odd but I get it life happens. Anyways I would recommend stopping at this local joint! I've been wanting to go to their new location as well. My go to order is a carrot taco, a pork, and a chorizo!

Natalie Z.

Yelp
Finally ordered food on my lunch break after driving past for a year! Super filling meal of three tacos. One with pulled chicken, one with ground beef and one with chorizo. The chorizo and ground beef were especially greasy but were flavorful so I didn't mind too much. This tacos are STUFFED, which I really appreciate as you definitely get your moneys worth. I was expecting more authentic street tacos, which is why I took off a star, but that may have been an issue with my expectations versus the quality of food. Would recommend if you're in the area and need a taco fix!

Yelp
I stopped by here this past Saturday afternoon with my wife for lunch. We happened to be in the vicinity of Baby Loves Tacos whenever I remembered seeing it right on Liberty in Bloomfield. So we headed on over without knowing what to expect. Whenever we entered the space I was surprised by the fact that it was much smaller than I expected. The whole inside consisted of a place to order your food and then a standing food bar that could fit maybe 6 people tightly. Other than that there were some chalkboard menus up that showed you your choice of proteins and toppers and that's about it. For lunch on this day I decided to go with the 3 tacos while my wife went with a carne asada burrito bowl. I chose a different protein for each of the tacos and went with the BBQ mushroom (ports & oyster), Buffalo cauliflower and Chicken. Then for the toppings I decided on hot salsa, pickled red slaw, cheese. All of my tacos ended up being pretty good and I think out of the bunch that the BBQ mushroom was my favorite because it had a good texture along with a nice smokiness to it. That's not to say that the other two weren't good as they both were and I have to admit that I was impressed with the number of vegetarian options (4) that they offered. In any case I also thought that the hot salsa added a nice little spice to the tacos while the slaw added some extra acidity. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both my wife and I really enjoyed our tacos and so I plan on bringing my dad here for lunch some afternoon.

Yuanyuan F.

Yelp
I've passed Baby Loves Tacos many times on Liberty Ave but they are not open on weekends. I finally remember to order on a Friday evening, I try to sample different things, so I ordered 3 meats tacos, 3 veggie tacos, and a side of mushrooms for pick up. First thing first, the tacos looks colorful and beautifully presented. The 3 veggie tacos (mushroom, sweet potato, and cauliflower) are innovative tweaks of traditional tacos. They are delicious and only slightly too salty to my taste. Generally, I like them. However, neither me nor my partner care for the 3 meats tacos (braised chicken, ground beef, and chorizo) because the protein part of these tacos is way too salty. The chorizo and beef ones even taste bitter with all the excessive sodium. Sadly, we didn't finish these. Not sure if our experience is an anomaly, but I really hope the restaurant can adjust their salt/sodium level. At least, it's good for customers' health.

Matt W.

Yelp
Walked up and had my order in only a couple minutes. Tacos were three different meats and were delicious. Hot sauce was creamy. Salsa wasn't really spicy. Chips were so-so. I'd skip the chips and salsa next time but would absolutely do the tacos again.

Pam Pam G.

Yelp
oh my goodness. The bigly gordita crunch beef burrito is the largest, heaviest burrito I've ever held in my hand and put into my mouth. For only $14, it could have fed me for 4 meals. It was jam-packed full of delicious ingredients and I ate way more than I should have, but still had half a burrito left over. My only gripe with the burrito was that the brown rice was underdone so it was quite crunchy and got stuck in my teeth. The 3 meats tacos were also super delicious; they asked if I wanted hot sauce or sour cream. I said both and I'm glad I did; the hot sauce was not too hot but tangy and added great acidity to the tacos. the meats were all delicious; my favorite was the chicken. The store itself was very covid-friendly and neighborhood-friendly. They have a Black Lives Matter poster on the window and a Pay it Forward menu option where you can help provide a hot meal for someone in need. Would highly recommend to anyone and will definitely be back! #ThankYouThursday

Yelp
Been wanting to try Baby Loves Tacos for quite awhile. Seems like we've tried almost every taco shop in town but hadn't tried this one yet. My wife arrived right as they were opening, really about 10 minutes early, and they were very friendly and happy to take her order even though they hadn't officially opened yet. I got the three meat tacos and she got the burrito bowl. Both were very good. The meats had great flavor and both dishes were filling. We got the hot sauce on the side, which was a good call because it was a little too spicy for my wife, especially since she is pregnant and experiencing some pretty bad heartburn. However, we both really enjoyed the smokiness of the hot sauce and saved the leftovers to be used on other homemade meals during the week. There is still a lot of the menu that needs to be explored and we will definitely be back!

Jason O.

Yelp
Wow!! So incredibly good. The enchiladas were amazing and my son loved the meat filled quesadillas. Can't wait to come back and try the rest. The staff were super friendly and the food was ready faster than a fast food chain. Well done!

Misti M.

Yelp
I've been eyeing up Baby Loves Tacos on social media for months... today I finally got myself there to try! (It was the buffalo cauliflower taco that pushed me over the edge to drive to Bloomfield!) The small shop doesn't offer seats but has some standing area to enjoy your tacos. I ordered the buffalo cauliflower and a chicken taco to try two different kinds (tacos are 3 for $10 or 1 for $4). Both were very good! While ordering I heard my two favorite questions... "Do you want guac? and Would you like it spicy?" Yes and YES! The quick trip was worth it - they were spicy, flavored well, and the cauliflower was a great change! I'll be back soon!

Justine W.

Yelp
This place has been on my restaurant list for a minute and I was finally able to try it today. I ordered 3 tacos (chorizo, chicken, and ground beef) for $11. The tacos were okay, nothing great or special about them. The chicken was my favorite, but I was not expecting the level of spice on it. Overall if you're looking for a cheap, quick lunch I would recommend trying this place out.

Valerie M.

Yelp
This is a great concept. There's a walk-up window to order at and they have many options. Pick your protein, pick your meal type (they don't just serve tacos here), and get your food. It's reasonably priced and delicious. I tried both chorizo and mushroom taco and they were both fantastic. I would definitely go back here again and recommend if you're looking for a quick and delicious bite to eat that's priced right. I feel like I need to go back and try a breakfast burrito at some point.

Lauren W.

Yelp
These tacos were so good and exactly what I've been craving. I got chorizo, chicken, and barbacoa, and all the meat was juicy and super flavorful. The only thing I'm mad about is this is walking distance from my boyfriend's apartment and we didn't come here sooner... But we'll be back asap!!!

Paige D.

Yelp
Don't know why anyone would go to chipotle or Moe's when this is an option. We got a chicken avocado burrito, a smothered burrito, and chips & queso. I would definitely want to come back and try the tacos. It is to-go only and a window outside to order, they did have some small tables outside. The food came out pretty quick & was definitely a popular spot. My only critique is the chips which reminded me of larger nacho chips that you find in lunchables (I swear they were exactly the same) I would have loved some homemade tortilla chips with the queso. Next time I would get queso and just get some chips from the store.

Elizabeth F.

Yelp
It isn't a traditional taco place and more of an interpretation of filling tacos. Don't expect a taqueria and think more fusion. We stopped in to get three tacos each. The fillings were slow cooked with care, pronounced flavors and great blend of ingredients. The tacos are quote large. You can definitely eat two and be full. Tip, not much seating, just grab and go for optimal enjoyment. Vegetarian options are available.

DJ J.

Yelp
This baby still loves tacos and BLT's doesn't disappoint. The place had a short line and is really take out. Lots of flowers and hanging baskets out front and in the window. They had a three person production line. You get plenty of meat or veggie filling. Unfortunately they were out of califlower today. They did have mushroom. You can get tacos, burritos, a burrito bowl. Decided to try 3 different meat tacos at the suggestion of the person behind the counter as he was recommending the pork and brisket ($1 more for brisket) and a chorizo. All very tasty and good. They come on a double soft corn tortillas. My pork did make the tortilla fall apart so make sure you get a fork and napkin on the way out.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Three tacos for $11 isn't a bad deal. I ordered the beef, chorizo, and barbecue mushroom tacos. Out of the three, the barbecue mushroom taco knocked it out of the park. If I went back, I'd highly consider getting all three tacos as barbecue mushroom tacos. I will say, the chorizo and beef tacos were hotter than I was anticipating for this kind of stand. This place is just walk up and order at the window, so expect to eat them at home or in your car.

Eva R.

Yelp
Have been wanting to try this place for a while as I am always on the lookout for the best tacos in the burgh. Even though it was raining out, there was a line for their tacos. I did the 3 for $10 and had the buffalo cauliflower, chorizo, and chicken with guac. Their menu is pretty limited, but with the amount of people there I knew it had to be good. There is no seating, but my friend and I were able to grab some space at the standing counter area. The decor of the place is cute with a lot of succulents and candles giving it a warm homey vibe. The tacos were delicious. I love corn tortillas, so I was happy that their tacos each come with two corn tortillas. They load up the tacos with toppings such as salsas and cheese and give lime on the side. The buffalo cauliflower had a nice kick to it which I was not expecting. The chorizo was on the oily side, but tasty. After three tacos, I was pretty full. A perk was that the guac was no extra cost. Overall, a great place to grab some quality tacos. You truly can never have enough tacos. I will definitely be back to try some different proteins!

Adelina M.

Yelp
I love the concept and the food. I like that the spot is fun and easy to get to. The owner Zach is funny and following his instagram really makes me want tacos every day of the week. I will say that I wish there were stools by the window ledge. I like the stand and eat feel but if this is going to happen can we get some hooks under the ledge for my purse. It just was weighing me down and I would have liked to be able to move just a bit more and take up less ledge space by plopping it down next to me. They are not truly open yet but I look forward to them being 100% ready and up and running. Everything I have tried has been awesome. I cannot wait to taste more of the menu as Zach changes it per week. Also as per my usual taco complaints this place ACTUALLY uses corn tortillas. I love it! Cannot wait to go back!

Isaac M.

Yelp
I had driven by Baby Loves Tacos so many times in the year or so since it opened, that I finally decided to stop in one day as I road by on my bike. It was ~Meatless Monday~ so I opted for three of their vegan taco options, mushroom, carrot, and buffalo cauliflower. The carrot and mushroom tacos were pretty good, but I was very underwhelmed by the buffalo cauliflower taco. I was expecting something coated in breading, like a standard fried vegan "chicken wing." These tasted like raw cauliflower frond dipped in Sweet Baby Ray's sauce from the jar. This criticism aside, I want to commend Baby Loves Tacos on the quality of its ingredients, especially their tortilla. I'll revisit my review upon a second meal at this place.

Bethany Z.

Yelp
Baby Loves Tacos is good! But I took one star away because I liked it better when you could go inside the restaurant to fully customize the order. Now that it is just a window you order at (and I get the reasonings behind the window), it's almost like whatever you order is set and you just have to tell them what not to put on the food. I normally get a bowl and before when it was inside, I could see everything and they would ask me about different hot sauces to add and whatnot. Now I feel like there's not as many ingredients in the bowl as there was before (I weirdly miss the radishes!)

Daniel H.

Yelp
Quality breakfast burrito with nice spice. Nice little find in Pittsburgh as a good breakfast option.

Rachel C.

Yelp
This could be one of the best tacos I've had in Pittsburgh, let alone ever. No lie. I'm kicking myself for not coming here sooner! It is a teeny tiny spot with no seating, just a window to order some wickedly good tacos and eat in your car like a slob... I mean, that's what I did. I have the stains to prove it. The nicest guy ever was behind the counter and suggested I just trust him and he put together three tacos for me to try. I had the mushroom taco, which could have been my favorite... But maybe a tie with the chorizo and then the carne asada, which was also tasty. I believe some of the toppings were pickled onions and cheese. My mouth is watering just thinking of them! I cannot wait to go back and will make this at least a monthly routine. I don't care if I have to eat them in my car and stain more clothes, it's happening!

Benjamin S.

Yelp
Parking: It's not actually that bad in Bloomfield. You might have to pull a quick u-turn to find that right spot but you're not going to run into a situation where you give up out of frustration. Service: It's a small establishment with just two workers on this particular day. We showed up before any rush! Quick service all around! Facilities: You can tell that there is a bit of a makeshift counter that they put in place. I'm certainly not one to judge considering the end product! There is really no available seating for patrons and most of their business is really just walk up. We managed to find an opening at the small picnic table just outside. Food: Delicious! The nachos were on POINT and the carne asada burrito was legit. Would absolutely visit this place again!

Yelp
I ordered for 2, getting the big gordita crunch, 3 meat tacos, and chips + hot salsa. The burrito was 5/5, large (but eatable), generously filled with fresh ingredients, and satisfying. I'd consider it 2 steps up from a place like chipotle. The tacos were 1/5. Pittsburgh struggles with tacos for sure, and this place isn't fixing that problem anytime soon. They were greasy and soggy (the chorizo was pure grease). The tortillas seemed undercooked to me. The fillings were fine, but the overall quality suffered from the meat and tortilla. Compare this to a place like Las Palmas and its night and day. Chips and salsa 3/5. The salsa was fresh and bright but a little heavy on the chipotle flavor. I typically eat pretty spicy (order a 7-9 / 10 at Thai places) and would consider this salsa moderately spicy. The chips were not my favorite, Too thick and they seemed overcooked and under-salted for my liking. Overall, I'll be back for the burrito, never order the tacos again, and maybe order the salsa without the chips (using store bought ones instead).

Yelp
I ordered 3 vegetarian tacos and they were the best tacos I've had in Pittsburgh. Everything was fresh and delicious and an easy pick up process!

Yelp
After hearing my friend rave about this place, we finally went yesterday and it was so delicious! The small storefront doesn't have seating but that doesn't stop the traffic flow. People came in before and after us. I ordered the three tacos for $10. One chorizo, one chicken, and one carne asada (grilled and sliced beef). The chorizo was my least favorite mainly because of all the grease, but it had pretty good flavor. The chicken however was my favorite. Perfectly grilled and with good flavor. The carne asada was decent, I probably wouldn't get it again. All added ingredients I got on each tasted delicious and fresh including the cilantro, pico de Gallo snd jack cheese. I know some people are like: why would you go to a taco place that has 'tacos' in the name for nachos? But I feel like these nachos would be fire so I'm gonna do me next time I walk into this little charming taco stand.

Yelp
Tasty food. Good Service. Great Vegetarian Options. Inexpensive. BLT is my favorite taco shop in Pittsburgh. All of the components are top-notch - from the protein to the produce. I love the bowls and salads, but the tacos are delicious as well. And the portions are HUGE for the price (it is heftiest street taco I've had).

Yelp
Stopped by while out for a walk and were pleasantly surprised by this awesome find. The tacos were fantastic! We had Buffalo cauliflower, sweet potato, chorizo, and chicken and they were all delicious!! We would definitely recommend and go back.

Yelp
First thing first, the actual tacos, burritos, gorditas are good. They're pretty big too, so expect to get your fill. The issue I have is everything else. If you order the Rice & Beans... that's all you're gonna get - - RICE & BEANS. No seasoning, no squirt of lime, no sauce, nothing. I thought the limeade would knock my socks off but you're better off drinking a half gallon of Simply Limeade for the same price. They say their limeade is fresh squeezed, but it tastes like really watered down concentrate. I'd opt for a conventional drink.
