Back Bar is tucked behind the lobby of the Hotel Eventi, with over 30 signature cocktails, and a section of $12 craft cocktails. No, that's not a typo. Built with a serious cocktail program, Back Bar takes pride in offering a curated selection of libations that change with each season, showcasing the creativity and expertise of Beverage Director, Jason Hedges. With the added charm of live music on select nights, and the occasional cameo from some of New York’s best bartenders, Back Bar is a hidden gem for cocktail enthusiasts all around. The interior of the space has been designed by interiors firm, Creme, with supporting creative direction from Reunion Goods & Services. The interconnected rooms feature an eclectic collection of objects and furniture, sourced by ‘we came in peace’, as well as an impressive contemporary art collection curated by Kyle Dewoody.

I used to come here when it was The Vine. I actually didn’t know it had changed until met up with a friend here for drinks. The menu isn’t as good anymore and I was devastated to hear they no longer serve the Frose! This is the first place I ever tried it and it is (well was) still the best I’ve ever had! For a drink, I ordered a Mezcal Negroni; it was all right. We also ordered the fried calamari, crisps & dips and French fries. There’s nothing really inventive about the menu and it is standard bar fare. For the most part, the food was fine but I really didn’t like the crisps & dips. Our waitress was nice and the food came almost too fast. The atmosphere is better than your standard hotel bar vibes. Not sure I will come back here.

One of the best bars I have been too. Well kept with a nice fire place in the back. I recommend getting a reservation and the inflation proof pricing is brilliant!

Stop by Back Bar located in the back of the Kimpton Hotel to relax and unwind your day. With a variety of beers, ciders, wines, cocktails, mocktails, and bites, there’s something for everybody. Their friendly staff took our order of three different kinds of our favorite cocktail, Old Fashioned, along with one refreshing cocktail. They even have an extra fancy Pappy Old Fashioned made with the 10 Year Pappy Van Winkle. It’s an amazing experience to enjoy a Pappy cocktail in a cozy, warm, dimly lit lounge type with an amazing margherita pizza.

Hosted a work happy hour event, we had a private area with amazing service and delicious food and drinks. Standout drinks are the Watermelon Cooler and the Frose, and for food the calamari and meatballs were great.

Great place to stop off for a drink and some light bites, can't beat a $12 cocktail in this economy... got the sour attitude and it was delicious. Walking distance from Penn Station/MSG, highly recommend the next time you're in the area.

Very cool spot. Bar is in four sections. A main bar area a lounge with large glass windows, an elevated lunge with fireplace and jazz on some nights and a speakeasy bar lounge. Had a good time here. had a nice energy. Only had one food item CRISPS & DIPS ROMESCO, GREEN TAPENADE & TZATZIKI, QUINOA, FLAXSEED, AND JASMINE RICE CRISPS. Really good and very generous portion. Menu and cocktail options looked solid. Service was very friendly and courteous. Godo date spot in the lounge area and the speak easy style bar in the back. I'm definitely going back here.

We went to the speakeasy to try Schmuck’s drinks and ended up having the best time! The drinks were out of this world and we enjoyed the whole experience so much we went back the next day to get food and drinks by the fireplace. Came in for the weekend, paid over $3,500 for the room, and was treated very poorly by Joshua at the bar. Instead of asking me if I wanted to order anything, he rudely kicked me out over a plastic cup GIVEN TO ME BY THE BAR STAFF. Terrible attitude and customer service. Avoid this bar at all costs. Joshua needs to learn how to better treat guests.

A friend and I came here for afterwork drinks and was highly surprised with the live band. It was a very cute vibe. Now if your on a date this could be a sexy starter. Since this is inside of a hotel seating is not a problem. The staff was excellent especially our sever a young lady working in the back my the outdoor seating. The drinks were that good I forgot her name lol!! We order the chicken sandwich and the meatballs, both were very delicious tender and seasoned. This particular night the bar Blacksails had a pop up in the back of Back Bar and their drinks were strong and refreshing at the same time so tasty. We also ordered the Cuban sandwich back there. I highly recommend it to share the bread was everything. Overall top notch experience A+

Bar bites and creative cocktails await you at Back Bar located off the lobby of Eventi Hotel. Laid out into three distinctive sections, each with its own ambiance. Service staff is friendly, attentive and accommodating, careful to keep track of your requests and table needs. We've eaten here a few times, bar menu favourites are the pizza and burger. Same kitchen as L'Amico, less choices of course, but what they do offer is very good tasting. There is a good assortment of bar stools, 2 person tables and spaces with larger couches for parties of 6 or more. Prices are fair.

My friend and I came here for a drink. I liked how we were able to sit anywhere we desired. They had a comfy leather couch with pillows and rugs. It was the perfect place to be as it rained outside. I ordered a desert paloma cocktail which I enjoyed. We also got some fries. Delish! Wish they warned us about the kitchen closing because we wanted to order some more.

Fantastic vibes, really good food, reasonable price, solid menu tucked way in the back of the hotel entrance. We were looking for a place to get dinner in the area and didn't find anything that wasn't a pre-fix or long sit down dinner. This was a recommendation from the Steak Frites place next door Wanted to give it a 5* as initially the service was fine, server went out of his way to get us a soda... but then he disappeared. Literally disappeared after serving our drinks. Someone else brought out food out, and eventually had to track down someone at the bar to pay. Really enjoyed my chicken sandwich (it was suggested) and the salad was very nice and light as well.

Staff is great. Drinks are just fine. Management seems to ride staff on silly savings and rules. ("Don't use a big cube for his drink!" Don't take a glass into the lobby!") One night I was in here it was packed and the vibe was solid. The next night was empty and boring. This is an okay place, but not someplace I would go if I were not staying in the hotel.

Excellent cocktail menu and very chill/cozy vibe. Great place to unwind after work in you're in the NoMad area or you want to grab a drink before heading to a show at Madison Square Garden. Added bonus - If you get hungry, there are two delightful restaurants next door, so you don't have to walk very far (L'Amico & Skirt Steak).

Love this new cocktail bar in Midtown. They have an amazing cocktail program and extensive spirits list. They also have live music a few nights and week and a selection of $12 cocktails (unheard of in Manhattan). Great spot for groups after work or on a date night. Would definitely recommend.
