The 26 Best Boise Restaurants to Try Right Now - Eater

"This downtown Boise restaurant claims to sell more than 10 tons of bacon a year. Owned and operated by father and son John and Gibson Berryhill, the Southern-inspired menu features omelets, biscuit sandwiches, and a sampling of the restaurant’s five bacon flavors in shot form. The menu has earned more than a few TV spots, with indulgences such as mac and cheese with tomatoes, mushrooms, and — you guessed it — bacon." - Scott Ki, Scott Wink

Google
The BEST cinnamon roll ever! It has a fully cooked, yet perfectly moist interior, complimented by maple and bacon. None of the flavors overwhelmed the others, making every bite superb. The cinnamon roll is also large enough to share! Hubby came for the bacon and loved the bacon shots... a flight of each of their bacon flavors. They were all so good that he couldn't pick a favorite! This was a stop for us while traveling cross country and definitely worth it! (edited for spelling)

An amazing experience! The food is unique, service was quick. We had the bacon flight, French toast, Benny Hill, bacon and cheddar scones and beignets! Highly recommend going for the experience and the delicious food!

Bacon Boise - A Bacon Lover’s Paradise! If you haven’t visited Bacon Boise yet, you’re truly missing out. This place is a bacon lover’s dream, and I’m not just talking about regular bacon – their in-house creations are next level. First, let’s talk about the Beignets – they are to die for! Light, fluffy, and warm, dusted with white powdered sugar, and paired with raspberry jelly. I just devoured five pieces without blinking an eye. Seriously, they’re THAT good. 😋 Now, onto the real star of the show: Bacon Shots. This sampler lets you try all of their signature, made-in-house bacon varieties: • Berryhill Bacon: Their traditional bacon, with a slight sweetness that makes it unique and absolutely mouthwatering. • Spicy Hot Bacon: If you love a bit of heat, this is your bacon. The peppery kick lingers on your tongue in the best way possible. • Maple Rosemary Bacon: Sweet, savory, and fragrant, with the perfect balance of maple syrup and rosemary. If you’re a rosemary fan, this one’s for you. • Candied Bacon: Perfectly sweet and addictive. This is definitely a favorite for kids (or anyone with a sweet tooth!). • Pantry Bacon: The rotating special – which has coffee on the bacon. While not my personal favorite, it’s still pretty tasty and definitely worth trying. The atmosphere at Bacon Boise is cozy and welcoming, with large wooden tables for families and intimate high-tops for two. The menu offers a great variety, from starters to hearty breakfast and brunch options. Plus, their patio is perfect for soaking up the sun on a warm day. Service is excellent and I enjoyed the conversation while enjoying the bar seats. If you’re craving bacon – or just a good meal in a fun and friendly setting – Bacon Boise is the place to be! 🥓. You can also purchase your favorite bacon for about $18 a bag to take with you!

Google
Soooo good! I got the virgin spicy bloody Mary with they're homemade bacon and it tasted like heaven! Pair that with the Benny Hill Benedict with chipotle hollandaise sauce, perfection. Will definitely be brunching here again.

Google
Absolutely AMAZING! First time here, will definitely be back. The Bacon Bloody Mary was by far the best bloody mary I have ever had, the Espresso Milk Punch also was delicious! The food was superb! Highly recommend!

Google
We heard so much about this place, we just had to try it out. And we were glad we did. Instead of being seated after entering we stood in line with a hand held menu and placed our order when we reached the register. After paying we were taken into the dining room and found a seat. The order number was displayed on the table and we waited a short time for our food to arrive. The customer service is top notch with everyone we talked to. The food was hot and fresh! And it doesn't have to be said, but the bacon is amazing here!!! We visited on a Friday morning and it was busy, but we understand on weekends this place can have a long line. So plan accordingly.

Teryn Williams

Google
1st time here, and as a bacon lover, this hits all my favorite things about bacon! Has the Bacon shots and Arkansas biscuit. My husband and I split everything. If you leave hungry, it's your own fault!

Aaron J

Google
Pros: The food was delicious and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I also loved the bacon shots! Con: The only con is that the entrance is pretty confusing. When you walk in the door there isn’t a host/hostess or even a sign that tells you that you need to walk past the bar to the back to order your food and then they’ll take you to a table. It still gets 5 stars and next time I’m in Boise I will definitely be back.

Yelp
My wife and I came here for the first time because today is our wedding anniversary. Bacon Boise was recommended to my wife by our friends. It is located downtown near the corner of Idaho and 9th and actually on 9th. Inside there is lots of wood--chairs and tables and furniture, and a nice bar on the right. The high ceiling is industrial with visible ducting and vents. Lots of light comes in through the front windows. We were greeted by a few young people and given menus and it was explained to us to go to the back and order, then the food will come to your table. My wife ordered a flight of bacon, beignets, a glass of fresh squeezed OJ, and, for her, bacon and eggs, and for me, a bacon, cheese, and veggie omelet. All of the food was delicious, and the staff were all very nice. We live in Star, so this is a bit of a drive. But, since we are retired, we have the time and it was very enjoyable. We will be back.

Yelp
What a phenomenal little brunch spot right in the heart of downtown Boise! I was in town to attend our new Community Ambassador's first-ever Yelp Elite Event at a nearby brewery, and we met up earlier in the day to enjoy a late breakfast (or was it an early lunch). We started with their famous bacon flight (highly recommend!) and I grabbed a bloody mary. Then I dove into my delish order of shrimp 'n grits. It was a huge portion that I couldn't finish, but it was quite tasty with plentiful amounts of grilled shrimp atop warm, gooey grits. Did they use a little too much butter in this dish? Probably! But growing up with a stepmom from the south, I could appreciate it just the same. We sat outside on their beautiful patio, and got wonderful service as we chillaxed on a warm Boise morning. If you're looking for brunch in the Treasure Valley, this place is definitely not to be missed!

Yelp
Came to Boise on business and needed a quick breakfast to bring back to the hotel while working. Bacon was a great choice! I had the Berryhill and Maple Rosemary bacons, both were a delicious bite of salt, fat, sweet, and heat. I also got the El Paso burrito. It was stuffed full of ingredients and fed me for two meals which made it worth the price tag for me. The service was quick and friendly, they were more than happy to answer questions about the menu and personally handed me my to-go order. The vibe inside of the restaurant was so fun. Overall no complaints at all, would highly recommend and will be back when I return to Boise!

Yelp
No wonder the line was out of the door! Tucked away in a bank building, bacon provided exactly what it says it'll give you...! I was not impressed with the service model: wait in line to take your order...then get seated. The rustic Mississippi juke joint vibe was cool and inviting. The food was well worth the wait ! My poutine was delicious; who can't love a savory, crispy, warm and flavorful bowl of basically French fries topped with curds and gravy?!? The bacon flight is a must, and worth trying to replicate (especially the spicy bacon)! Tourists can't miss this spot, but locals stay away as it's always so busy. I'm definitely going back!

Yelp
Walking up to the restaurant on 9th street, you encounter a warm inviting patio and outdoor fireplace. Once inside, you follow the bacon path to order and then are seated in a cozy dining room. They have a full bar but were were unable to enjoy it (working) but the coffee and food were all fantastic! Attentive staff, friendly conversationalists, bluegrass music playing softly - such a great vibe! Highly recommend!

Yelp
We ordered The Hash and the Benny Hill. The hash was full of flavor from start to finish. An excelent breakfast like no other I have ever had. The Benny Hill was full of flavor as was the potatoes and okra. We got a couple of different sides of bacon, the Berryhill and the Bourban Coffee. Another out of this world experience in flavor. Their bacon game is on point and the best bacon I have ever had.

Yelp
Yes, restaurant can certainly be a destination! Who ever thought of bacon shots is a genius!! This food themed restaurant is quality and whimsical! Service was excellent!! Definitely a must do!

Yelp
Great place for breakfast! Loved the bacon shooters, cinnamon roll, and our meals. Overall, very good experience. Only thing I would change is the ordering process, just seat people so they can relax and order vs having to stare at the menu while in line. That being said, I would go back again
google avatar

Yelp
Hmmmmm well, I think I was a little underwhelmed, given how long the line was on a Saturday around noon! We waited EASILY 20+ minutes before ordering and getting a table. However, after ordering, the food came out very quickly. I had the shrimp and grits, which I thought were good but not anything special. They were pretty greasy. The biscuit and jam that came along with it was a little plain, but everything was totally fine. Just temper your expectations :-)

Yelp
It took us forever to finally come here for breakfast and I wasn't disappointed. I got the Arkansas which is fried chicken, bacon, cheese, gravy and fried egg on a biscuit. Delicious! It's big so bring your appetite.

Mace H.

Yelp
No joke. Might be the best breakfast I've ever had. Sausage gravy was so good. Excellent.
google avatar

Yelp
I love all things bacon so was excited to check this place out. The line was a little long when we went around 9:15am on a Sunday. It was very long after we ordered. You order at the counter and they bring the food out. The cashier took our order but was not really friendly. Started with the bacon shots which I really enjoyed. It's 5 types of delicious bacon in shot glasses and I liked them all. My BF went with an omelet which comes with potatoes, okra and a biscuit. I had the "Beverly" Big Biscuit which is scrambled eggs, cheese, spicy bacon and sriracha on a biscuit...so yummy! If you like bacon- you will like this place.

Yelp
Did I go here just because of the name? Perhaps, but can you really go wrong with a restaurant that offers bacon shots? This is a fun place for breakfast that offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The biscuits and gravy were really good and of course the bacon shots are a must try.
google avatar

Yelp
First time dining at Bacon Boise. I wasn't a fan of ordering at the counter. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and a latte. The smell of the food when it arrived was off putting. It didn't smell spoiled, just not a great smell. The biscuits and gravy were inedible. I ate one bite. The biscuits were large, flat and very dry. The gravy was an odd yellow color, oily and unappetizing. The latte was pretty good.
google avatar

Yelp
To be fair I never had the bacon, however I did order the chicken fried steak and I've never been more disappointed. The quality of the food was subpar but the preparation was even worse. I can't believe this place could let me down like that. The steak was so over cooked half of the breading on the outside was an empty shell with the whole piece of meat shriveled up somewhere inside. The gravy had some good flavor but the texture was off. They couldn't even get the biscuit right, super dry. I really wish there was something good to say about my plate but I was truly in disgust. The picture I posted was after I was done eating, and as you can see I didn't eat much. My date ordered a breakfast burrito and only ended up eating half of the bland food. If you can avoid this place do so.

Yelp
Walking into this place it felt weird, you "follow the bacon" to the ordering counter; its not a restaurant not a bar - sorta hybrid I suppose, came with a party of 7; rather large I know... You order at a counter like Panera Bread, get a ticket & then the food comes out to your table. This is a fast casual place, not a restaurant by my definition. Had a wave down employees to get any kind of service or water for the table multiple times. Didn't clear the table of dirty dishes. It wasn't even busy there were many open tables. Food was okay, once it came out, thankfully not too long of a wait, this was a one & done place for me. Jerky was fun, enjoyed the bacon sampler. Service could be so much better, not impressed by that what so ever. But as stated previously, it's not a restaurant. Definitely a hybrid food place, not somewhere to go for service.

Yelp
If you're a bacon fan, you HAVE to visit Bacon Boise! I recently was in Boise on a work trip, and BACON was recommended to us by our flight attendant as a MUST try. I'm happy they were so adamant, because this place was incredible! It's a little unconventional, when you walk in, you don't sit immediately, but rather you follow a path to the back area where you place your order and pay. Then you go and find a seat. It's not a huge difference, but it's unique. I had the grilled cheese with some hush puppies and immediately regretted only getting the half-size order....it was so delicious that I could have easily had the full size meal. While I'm not "huge" on bacon, this place had a number of other delicious options that were just as great! We sat inside and had the option of the patio, but given it was October, we dined in. Service was quick and efficient, they did a great job. I can see why this place would have a line up, its a special spot in Boise!
google avatar

James R.

Yelp
At first I thought here I am in Boise but I feel like I am in Arkansas, deep in the south. Who does not like bacon? This place really does make special bacon (multiple styles to be exact). Add the okra and a biscuit with jam and I was sure I was in the south except I was not. Staff were chatty and provided good service with that southern ambiance.

Yelp
Cute little brunch-y establishment in downtown Boise. Very clean. Friendly staff. You place your order with the cashier who then selects a table for you. Bloody Marys are decent. The Berryhill bacon is addictive.
google avatar

Leya C.

Yelp
Bacon holds up to its name. The bacon themed options range from breakfast to lunch. Selections are rich tasting and offer flavors to appeal to many types of foodies. We had the new Jackson burrito with avocado and the Ham and Bacon sandwich with fries and puppies. The chilli dust on the fries is a must try. A breakfast margarita and raspberry mimosa hit the were perfect companions to our meal. Service was good. We enjoyed the "I love Bacon" shirts and want one of our own.

Yelp
Highly recommend Bacon Boise for outstanding breakfast food and service was top notch!

Yelp
Great breakfast/brunch spot in Boise! I'm a flight attendant and a co-worker recommended to visit over some other places in the area. Very happy I listened! The food is amazing and the service is great. Nice staff and very helpful with any questions you have about the service and menu! Will be back next time I'm in Boise, and will spread the word to others who layover here!
google avatar

Christen G.

Yelp
I'd go 3.5 stars if I could. Great concept, super great staff but the food wasn't mind blowing. I got the Shrimp and grits - grits were a little runny but the bacon was great. The poached egg was done in a pod - which felt strange for a restaurant. My friend said I HAD to get the Mac and cheese - and I see why - it was incredible. Their espresso was a little sour - so not my fav. There was no wait on a rainy Saturday morning - and the atmosphere was great! Can't say enough about how sweat the staff was - I felt like I was in the south. Counter service
google avatar

Amanda L.

Yelp
This place came so highly recommended my sister and I had to stop by on our Boise adventure. Sad to say, we were a little let down. The bacon was 5/5. We did a flight and it was fun to eat and the options were super good! Sadly, the French toast was dry and didn't have the delicious cinnamon flavor your want in a French toast. It was close to Freak Alley which is nice if you planned to stop by but overall it didn't blow me away.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
Really good food! Great service and cute place. We love Boise and all the great restaurants they offer.
google avatar

Hmmmmm O.

Yelp
Great bacon choices. Had the BLT for lunch. Much better than last time. So good. Side salad a bit overdressed so maybe ask for dressing on the side. Service nice. Ambiance nice.

Julio S.

Yelp
We waited in line like 20 min and then sat down after we ordered. Food came out in 10 min. The food is ALL phenomenal. BACON heaven. We will go back and try more. We liked this place better then the restaurants around there!! Seriously!!! They have an awesome team of waitresses thing going there!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!!!

Joe B.

Yelp
Being from Arkansas this place disappoints me but maybe they aren't going for authenticity maybe they're trying to please the local crowd
google avatar

Katie G.

Yelp
This place is so cool. It's a walk in and order at the counter and then take a # to your seat kind of place BUT you'd never know it. Once you sit down, they have the sweetest people working there to make sure all of your needs are met. The food is OUTSTANDING. The bacon flight is a must. We can't wait to be back!
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Amazing food and service every time! And the bacon...... omg! Do yourself a favor favor and go here!

Yelp
For our third Father Daughter monthly breakfast, we hit up Bacon in dntn Boise about 9:15 am on a Tuesday morning. Located at the corner of 9th & Idaho, the restaurant is nicely laid out and has a wonderful courtyard for warm weather outdoor dining. A little different set up that raised some questions. As you enter you are directed to the back kitchen area counter to order. Menu boards are available and the gal taking our order was great. However, it feels like a fast food setup versus a sit down breakfast restaurant and you end up paying and tipping for service before you sit down. Thankfully, our servers were polite and terrific. I order the Benny Hill eggs Benedict while my daughter took on the Boise omelette. Both plates came with an over abundance of seasoned potatoes. While tasty the amount of potatoes overwhelmed the egg dishes in our opinions. Maybe add some fruit instead of soo much potatoes? The eggs Benedict and bacon were good but the biscuit on the bottom was overcooked and hard. Overall service gets a 5 and the food gets a 3.5 with a great patio for warm weather breakfast!
google avatar

Dave B.

Yelp
Bacon Boise has probably featured THE MOST friendly staff we've come across on our 3-day visit! They automatically told us where to find the bathroom (how considerate)! We ordered the Bacon Shots (naturally!) and the Biscuits & Gravy. We loved sampling the 5 bacon flavors & ended up buying the Berryhill bacon. The biscuits were very soft & buttery! The gravy was generously labeled over & around the biscuits & had a unique herby flavor! The "Bacon Walk" floor & indoor decor were adorable! We'd definitely eat here again!
google avatar

Keith B.

Yelp
One of, if not the best brunch spot in Boise. Not only is the bacon great, burrito, and all egg dishes are worth ordering. Their entrees, flavors and menu items are well thought out. This is a cannot miss spot.
google avatar

Mary D.

Yelp
The ambience is cool, but I wish we could sit and order. Especially if we wanted to order more bacon :-) I don't want to stand in line for another 20 minutes to update my order, but if a server had come to my table for the order I would have definitely ordered more. The service to the table for water and bringing out the food was quick and friendly. Loved the oatmeal, beignets, and bacon sampler. Not a huge fan of the gravy on the biscuits or chicken fried steak as it wasn't a traditional sausage gravy.
google avatar

Gisela J.

Yelp
I have been wanting to try this place for such a long time, and finally, I made it in. I gotta say it was a little different from what I'm used to for breakfast restaurants. You walk in and you go order your food. After that, it's self-serve for coffee and water. Then, a host/ server will seat you at an open table. Someone else will bring whatever other drinks you order as well as your food. Someone checks on you after your food gets dropped off. Someone else picks up plates. It's like an all for all type of service. The way the place is run its pretty interesting, and it seems to really work it flows well, and they do get busy. I was surprised at how busy they did get. But the food does speak for itself.. The bacon I had its the main one they served, and wow, it was so delicious that it almost melted in your mouth it definitely left me wanting some more.. but I just didn't want to get in the huge long line to order more. Lol.. same with my alcoholic drink. I am definitely coming back. I was also ver happy with the place it was really nice. I was looking out the window while waiting for my food, and I noticed so much beauty of our beautiful downtown Boise the old buildings and the bear heads on the walls and the fishes on the walls. Loved it.
google avatar

Leslie K.

Yelp
Nice ambiance Indoor and outdoor seating Service was quick Too much potato. A whole chopped up potato came with breakfast For the amount of food and quality it was kind of expensive Good for groups Ate here in May 2023
google avatar

Kris s.

Yelp
Long wait for breakfast even after getting on line while driving there. Super noisy inside. Great menu, but I think still working on implementing it flawlessly. Only two of three entrees showed up. By the time my niece's eggs Benedict came, my daughter's breakfast was nearly cold. Drinks never arrived (juice, water and coffee) No explanation or apology but all appeared on bill. Has potential to be epic but think they are trying to do too much too fast, slow down, limit menu some might help. Overall, I would not return during breakfast rush. Not worth a 90+ minute wait and rough service.
google avatar

Amanda N.

Yelp
Order then they seat you. Paid parking garage across the street. First hour is free then it's $3/h after that. Indoor and outdoor seating. Beautiful ambiance and great good. You cannot go wrong with anything you order. Similar ingredients in most plates but they taste so individual and have their own unique taste. I will definitely be back here next time I'm in Boise!

Yelp
Overall solid with just a few items that distract from what should be five star experience. Firstly, the good: -- Service. The staff were awesome. From the Host to the server accepting orders and the line cooks, top notch service. Very friendly, helpful, and the food was really well done; -- Food. As mentioned above, the food was really good. I had the Benny Hill (eggs Benedict with a chipotle hollandaise). The eggs were cooked perfectly and the side potatoes and okra were done very nicely......not too much oil/fat, just enough to keep them from getting dry; -- Coffee. The foam on my cappuccino was done beautifully and the proportions (espresso, milk, foam) were spot on (many places call it a cappuccino, then really make a latte); -- Both my food and drink came out in fairly short order and within maybe 30 seconds of each other. Room for improvement/distractions: -- Check-out. Ordering is counter service....no problem there, but when I went to pay via the terminal, I was queued for tips for "19%", "20%" and "25%". Especially considering that this is asked *up front* and for walk up service, this was surprising and I found it off-putting; -- Service. I was eating in.....my cappuccino came in a paper cup. Just seemed like a party foul. The server who brought it offered to fix it and "re-make it, it just doesn't do well when it's transferred" (which, that's a testament to her level of focus and that of the staff), however I elected to enjoy it vs wait for it to be remade; -- Coffee. The cappuccino was ok, it was a bit sour though.....ok, but disappointing, perhaps just pulled a bad shot(?). Again, overall a solid experience and I'd go back, I'd just opt for tea as a hot beverage and ask up from for a ceramic cup.

Yelp
Five star review for customer service. Everybody was very welcoming, warm, and explain the menu in detail to make sure that we have the best experience. Food was very large portion and we definitely could've shared any food plate that we ordered. The bacon shooter was fun to try out all the different Bacons And the cinnamon bacon rolls was just gigantic. We enjoyed the experience and I had a great time there.
google avatar

Blake C.

Yelp
Bacon Boise is an amazing find. I had the bacon shots and one of the breakfast burritos. Probably the best breakfast burrito ever. They have a very impressive Bloody Mary and great coffee too. I highly recommend Bacon Boise.

Bill H.

Yelp
Highly recommend. Great food and great service. One of those restaurants that cook from the heart and care about the food. Not just produce food. My waitress Bailey was awesome helpful friendly. John the owner was great conversation and fun to visit with. 5 stars

Kayla O.

Yelp
The employees were all very nice but the food was not good at all, unfortunately. The "big biscuit" is not that large and the country gravy wasn't appetizing because it was 50% oil. I wasn't able to eat my food due to the oiliness of the gravy. Overpriced for the quality of food and the "pissed off" version of the Bloody Mary wasn't that spicy. Overall I won't be going back.
google avatar

Arin P.

Yelp
Sat at the bar and ordered our food right from the staff at the counter. Great way to bypass the line! We started with the bacon flight and split the Arkansas Biscuit. Both items were excellent and the food came out quickly! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
First time here and I was shoooooketh! The food was amazing. I was a little weirded out by the set up. Normally, you'd be seated then order but this establishment has you in line, ready to order, then they seat you. We had 3 adults and 1 child. The line went by pretty quickly and the place started to fill up. The food was amazing. AMAZING. I had papa's poutine and omg, I couldn't stop eating it. It had the right amount of everything on it. I would have given this place 5 stars, but some of the servers are young and dressed very inappropriately. For instance, one girl had on the leggings that scrunch at the butt so her butt could appear bigger. Another girl had on a top with no bra on, nips everywhere. That's fine for an older crowd, but families come here. Children. No one wants to explain to their child to look away because the server is showing her tits. Come on, now. Food was great. Service was great. Just clean up the wardrobe a bit. Me, I don't care. If they make tips that way, great. But be mindful of the kids.

Yelp
Great concept and a must stop in Boise! Service was fast and the food was super yummy. I had the eggs Benedict and it did not disappoint at all! Okra was delicious, which is not an easy thing to accomplish. The sauce was legit as well. And most importantly - they sell bags of bacon. So we're bringing something delicious home to our dog!

Marty D.

Yelp
I just hosted a baby shower for a friend in their Berryhill room. I had no idea that Bacon even had a private room in the back, and they do, and it's so cute and intimate. I emailed their team essentially begging them to allow me to have my baby shower brunch there, and they got back to me quickly, and we're so kind and gracious and accommodating. When you book that room, you don't pay an extra fee for having that room. And they start the table with coffee, mimosas, and various appetizers. It was delicious, and they let me bring in flowers and placemats to make the room my own. The party kept commenting on how good the food was, and how wonderful the service was. And they were impressed with how inexpensive the whole thing was. The staff at bacon was so kind and very good at communicating, I'm just so grateful that I held the baby shower there because that team was so good. And the food was delicious!

Yelp
First visit- the nontraditional line/seating is weird, but the food is really good. The bacon shots are a must do for the first visit so you can understand what the place is about. And they mean it when they warn you about the spicy bacon (which was also my favorite). I ordered shrimp and grits- it was just ok. It needed more cheese and less onions or whatever was on the sauce that watered stuff down. It did not need more bacon- as you can see. Also- that raspberry jam for the biscuit was fantastic. I'm not a jam person- but holy crap- Side note- not the best shrimp and grits in the TV- and I'd want to order something else next time. Husband ordered the Papa's Poutine- and he somehow ate all of it- which portion size wise- quite the accomplishment. He was much happier with his order than I was- and said he'd gladly get it again. Is it a trendy sort of foodie hipster place- sure- but it's also really good and worth the weird bacon line.
