Bacon Social House

The best thing to say about this place is the food was good. The Smokehouse burger was great. However, the service and the cleanliness dropped this score down. Granted I came on New Year's Eve, but the waiter was very unprofessional. Sitting around in the booth next to us, not giving us space to look at the menu and decide on drinks, etc. It was annoying to be frank. I ordered a hot tea and the mug had some sticky like glaze on a part of it and the amount of water in the cup was only 2/3 full. I had to flag the waiter down for some ketchup and then he brought me an insufficiently small dish of it. The menu selection isn't big and it's quite expensive comparatively.

What a great experience! Really enjoyed the service, the drinks, the food and the dessert. We started with the Happy Hour Cheese Curds, which were solid, including an excellent smoked dipping sauce. I had a Japanese Whiskey (Santori Toki) which went down way too smooth. My wife had a glass of wine, and the pour was very generous, even for Happy Hour! We then moved to the main course, which consisted of the Bacon Flight Burger and the Mac and Cheese with steak. Both dishes were outstanding and very flavorful. The portions were large, and we even took home half the Mac. The Chocolate Bacon Brownie with ice cream was a great way to finish it off. Our server was very nice and helpful. We would both highly recommend Bacon Social House!

We went there this weekend after getting a message from google saying we would enjoy this place. 1st off this rating would be a 4 and half. The place is at the stadium end of downtown Minneapolis so not as busy but still light on parking. There is street parking and a lot across the street. it is connected to the canopy hotel. There is a very nice bar there and open area for bigger groups. They have lots a tv if you want to watch sports. We got the bacon flight of course because you have to. it. Was very good. We got the poutine with gravy and Chile peppers. You could not really taste the chilies. She got a beet salad and liked it. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf which was awesome. We also had an interesting brownie with bacon in it.. Few drinks which made the bill about 100 bucks not bad for the food and drinks we got. One bad thing is there are no bathrooms in the restaurant you have to use the hotel lobby restrooms which are very far from the bar. All and all for sure try out this place.

The bacon flight was great. The Baller Bacon had no kick and barely qualifies as thick cut. Costa Rica Benidict was bland and I'm not sure where the pork belly was hiding. Boozy French Toast was good. Bacon Tots were closer to burnt than golden brown.

Decent environment. Nice and friendly staff. Clean restroom. I got Costa Rica Benedict which is decent. The eggs were cooked just how I like it. I got the flight of 3: halapeno, candied, and featured. Ranking nice, blah, and ok respectively. Generally, I expect bacons to be crunchy; which is not the case. The bacon has more meat portion which is desirable. Pricing is slightly above average. Parking can be an issue if the place gets crowded. Overall, the visit was a good experience

Wonderful time and great food. Sausage gravy was awesome. Flight of bacon was a great deal. And the jalapeño margarita was excellent. Note the grits here are not true grits. Ask your server about that. But overall a great restaurant and experience.

Do you like bacon? Then try this place out. I got an amazing omelet with ham, bacon, cheese and a variety of other delicious ingredients. I also partook of a couple bacon bloody marries, which where we’ll sliced and included a nice think slice of bacon. BACON!

We came on the last day of the soft opening w friends. First impression, the friendliness of the staff. We got seated right away! The menu is impressive, which has options for GF, vegetarians, and meat eaters. I ordered the Bacon Old Fashioned (w the house made bacon bitter) and the Smokehouse Burger, BSH hits them out of the park! The truffle oil and parmesan fries were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, yum. My wife enjoyed her Veggie Bowl and had plenty to take home. Our server, Desean, and the Bar Manager, Erin, were the good embassadors - thank you for keeping us informed and happy. Another plus is that BSH opens for breakfast at 6am weekday and 7am weekend, this is welcome news to us, who live 3 blocks away. Keep it up. #baconsocialmsp
