My coworker and I decided tomorrow treat ourselves to some burgers and fries today after a rough morning at the office. We found this spot and decided to give it a try. I kind of wish we didn’t.
First off, as soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed with music blasting. It was hard to talk over, and it was all Disney movie songs, which was kind of weird.
There wasn’t anyone at the counter to talk with so we ordered through the kiosk, which was an average experience I guess. The burger came to $17 and included a small order of fries and a drink. Much more expensive than some other competitors in the area, but I was cautiously optimistic.
The burgers came out and looked okay. They weren’t seared patties, or smash burgers, they had a weird consistency and flavor. The bun was fresh and likely made in house, but it was so tall it made it hard to eat the burger. The burger patties themselves were really off putting in appearance and I can’t put my finger on why.
I appreciate that the fries are cooked in beef tallow, and that the burger toppings were all fresh, but it just didn’t do it for me. Not my type of burger.
