Where to Find the Best Halal Dining in Orlando

"This sister resto to Bad As’s Sandwiches offers nothing but (halal) Australian wagyu burgers starting at a very reasonable $9. Specialty burgers are almost double the price ($16-$17) and double the pattied with such standouts as “The Marley,” cramming a mix of roasted pineapple, caramelized onions, jerk mayo, and gooey gouda in between brioche buns, and “The Apocalypto” with bacon, jalapeno poppers, smoked cheddar and guajillo barbecue sauce. Don’t overlook the French onion soup or the scrummy shakes." - Faiyaz Kara

The burger I had here was one of the BEST I have ever had! And the fries…delicious. We will definitely be back. Super friendly, knowledgeable staff and very casual, comfortable atmosphere. I ate my food so fast, you only get an “after” picture.

No ketchup served at this restaurant which was a deal breaker for me. Serving fries & tots with no ketchup is just bad business. Service was not very friendly. Very small dining area inside the restaurant so we had to eat outside on the patio in the heat. Prices were high in my opinion avg. price around $16 for a sandwich, fries & tots were extra.

Man, now I can't eat burgers anywhere else. The food was amazing. Fresh bun, delicious burger and the perfect combo of toppings made this a meal to remember. Service was great, too. Since it was my first time there, they walked me through the menu and found the perfect meal. If you want an amazing burger and fries from a local business, look no further.

First off I am a huge fan of their sandwich shop. Arguably the best in Orlando. Was looking forward to trying the burgers. I am sorry to say it was one of the worst I have had. Beef had weird almost bad taste to it. I could only eat 1/4 of it. The bbq sauce on it was great...by itself but not on the burger. The fries were like the hard overcooked ones at the bottom of McDonalds fries. My son's burger also had a jerk mayo on it and it was way too overpowering. Meat also tasted off on his and fries were the same. I am posting this review so the owner can know that some of his customers dont have a good experience at all and hopefully keep up on the quality control.

First of all I'm writing this because I have met and respect the owner John. I think he has a great establishment. The food was excellent as always. My wife and I enjoyed our meal very much. my concern was that I showed up at 8pm and and was told that we could not sit and eat. We were trying to do a quick date before picking up the kids. I placed the picture of the receipt so you can see the time I ordered. They said they closed at 9pm but they had to be out of the restaurant by 9pm so they are closing the tables because of that. Maybe it's the place policy but it didn't make sense to me. If it was then sorry for taking it wrong. The guy who took my order was a nice young man but it just doesn't make sense. I will continue to support because the food is amazing. I just want to make sure you're not turning people off by this. Y'all have a nice environment and we should be able to enjoy it until 9pm. So we sat in our car and enjoyed the meal. God is good. have a blessed day.

I was so excited to come try this place out after watching their instagram, unfortunately, it didn’t live up to the hype. The bun was the only yummy part of the burger - had no flavor and the cheese seemed fake also the fries were undercooked with no flavor and could taste nasty oil, although it appeared to be real clean inside.. it had a weird odor about it. Probably won’t be back.

My coworker and I decided tomorrow treat ourselves to some burgers and fries today after a rough morning at the office. We found this spot and decided to give it a try. I kind of wish we didn’t. First off, as soon as we walked in, we were overwhelmed with music blasting. It was hard to talk over, and it was all Disney movie songs, which was kind of weird. There wasn’t anyone at the counter to talk with so we ordered through the kiosk, which was an average experience I guess. The burger came to $17 and included a small order of fries and a drink. Much more expensive than some other competitors in the area, but I was cautiously optimistic. The burgers came out and looked okay. They weren’t seared patties, or smash burgers, they had a weird consistency and flavor. The bun was fresh and likely made in house, but it was so tall it made it hard to eat the burger. The burger patties themselves were really off putting in appearance and I can’t put my finger on why. I appreciate that the fries are cooked in beef tallow, and that the burger toppings were all fresh, but it just didn’t do it for me. Not my type of burger.

The food was delicious! The burger was juicy packed with flavor. The fries were crispy but maybe could use some seasoning. Their special sauce was really good. It came on the standard burger. The restaurant is a bit small. Luckily we went during a slower time so we could get a seat. It was also a bit expensive for a burger and fries.
