Bad Habit

Popped in here on a Saturday night before seeing a show next door at the Concord and had a fabulous experience! They were a little understaffed (admittedly so) but we didn't notice a significant slow down in service. Our food came out promptly and we had plenty of time to eat before heading to the show. We both got burgers and Cajun fries and were VERY happy with our choices. The smash burger was absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend. The only mark down was that drink selection was a bit minimal and they didn't have any non alcoholic options (except sodas). Would different come back for the burgers!!

I cannot say enough great things about Bad Habit and its staff! I threw my 30th birthday Halloween party here and from beginning to end it was the easiest, smoothest, best experience! The staff accommodated all of my needs the whole way and kept everything as stressless as possible leading up to the party. Not only is the actual bar stunning and a great vibe of its own but they also have beautiful party room as well as amazing party food options. Best part is everything was affordable and they always kept my budget in mind. On the day of the party I thought I was on my own with set up, but when I got there it was all hands on deck with the staff which was an amazing feeling. My party coordinator offered to finish up decorating so I can get ready and kindly rushed me out the door. She coordinated with some vendors I had and made sure things ran so smooth while I was getting dressed back home. When I came back my I was amazed at how she made sure my whole vision came together and everything was amazing! I was introduced to another coordinator who would help me the rest of the night with anything needed and offered me complimentary drink! Thanks to bad habit and the team, all that was left to do was have fun! I hired a DJ but before she arrived the music was amazing and kicked the party off with a great vibe! The bartenders and kitchen were equally as great as everyone else had been at this point, my guest were taken care of and never waiting long for drinks or food. At the end of the night at of the staff was still in great moods and made the exiting process a smooth transition! I am not someone who leaves reviews, but I had such an amazing experience with this place I had to! I am forever grateful to bad habit and its staff for making my 30th birthday unbelievably memorable!

Bad habit was wonderful! A friend and I went in on a Saturday evening. It wasn't as crowded as we had expected. We got a few cocktails and some apps. The pita chips with the spinach dip was delicious and I could it eat those all day! My cocktails were okay. Weren't as strong as I would have liked but still pretty good. The place has a modern charm. It also seemed to have a party room adjacent to the main room. I'm looking forward to coming back.

This place just opened in West Bucktown and it is awesome! It’s got a DC bar vibe, not a large space but keeps going back and darker lit. The service was great, Chelsea is the best! We tried 6 different cocktails of the 8 on the menu to try most of them and our favorites were the Proud Judas and Nothing Good Happens After Midnight. The Bang Bang Shrimp and the Cajun fries were very good.

NEW CHICAGO BAR ALERT! I had so much fun checking out this newest addition to the Logan Square area! Not only is the space modern and inviting, but the service and food were great! The food? I could've eaten those Cajun fries allllll day and I loved the Crispy Avocado tacos and The Bad Habit shrimp tacos. Avocados are my favorite, so having a fried avocado taco was the best! The shrimp tacos were delish - they have a cilantro lime tartar that is very tasty! The drinks?! My favorites were The Adultress (made with Gin & Cointreau) and Avarice (made with Vodka & Elderflower). I loved the flavor profiles in the drinks The prices are reasonable as well. If you love mezcal, they have some great drinks for you like The Lustful Paloma, Oaxacan Temperance and Luxuria. Bad Habit is the perfect spot to grab a drink and a tasty bite to eat, especially if you're catching a show next door at The Concord. Thank you all for the hospitality and great evening! I got the drunken noodles here and it was pretty good. The server forgot my utensils with my order and by the time I received my utensils after leaving the table to find a server my food wasn't warm anymore. The drinking water is dirty which is gross. The fries were amazing and the long island I ordered was okay. It's a pretty chill and spacious environment. Overall, a slightly above average place to go to for dinner and drinks.

Stopped by on a Friday night. They have great Friday drink specials and their food is very good! We had brussel sprouts, fries, spinach & artichoke dip, fried avocado tacos, and the bang bang shrimp. All delicious and the staff was very friendly and attentive. It was dead and we have no clue why because it was a great experience!

We hosted a private event for my husband’s birthday. The team was super responsive and flexible during the planning process. They made a menu that met our budget and the night was a complete success. The private room is great - large space with plenty of seating. The food and service were spot on and everyone had a great night.

Came here essentially on a whim because we had a craving for burgers and so many restaurants were already at capacity on a Saturday night. So glad we discovered this gem though! There is a parking lot next door which is free for customers of the restaurant but otherwise $20 (such a rarity for restaurants in the area to have parking!). Anyway, we were able to sit right away (no reservation needed). We started with their specialty old fashioned cocktail, which was made perfectly. And then we each ordered their smash burger. I got mine with house cut fries + aioli sauce, and he got the Cajun fries + special chipotle ranch. The burgers came out relatively quickly and were fabulous! They had a slight kick of spice too. The fries were excellent - thick cut but still crispy without being burnt and seasoned well. Overall, I'm very happy with the experience here. The service was fast and friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. For a burger + fries, it was about $20 (menu is a la carte). Hope to come back again!

My husband and I happened to walk past this place after spending time in Wicker Park. This bar is located right on Milwaukee Ave near the Concord Music Hall and a handful of restaurants. We both had the Luxuria cocktail (Gin, Mezcal, Coochi, Americano, Dry, and Orange Bitters). This is a good gin cocktail with a noticeable flavor profile. I would have also tried their rye cocktail if it hadn't been the tail end of our night. This bar recently opened, so I assume that there may be additional options added to the menu in the future. I hope they add one or two more whiskey or rum cocktails to the menu. The service here was attentive and friendly. I look forward to trying them again.

Drinks were super creative and yummy. Cool little spot next to concord. They're only open on weekends, which leads me to believe it's owned and/or managed by someone associated with concord. Their food is good too, and the kitchen is open late. I would be here more often if they were open more days a week!

I can't say enough good things about Bad Habit, and the main reason is the incredible bartender, Jace. Every visit to this bar is a delight because of him. Not only does he craft the most delicious cocktails with precision and creativity, but his personality and charisma add a special touch to the entire experience. The atmosphere at Bad Habit is great. Whether it's your first time here or you've come back, just like me, you'll always feel welcome and appreciated. Cheers to Bad Habit and the exceptional service provided by Jace!

My food was alright, husband not so much... $21 got me a portobello sandwich and fries. Fries were supposed to be with some garlic parmesan topping, but came naked. Portobello was actually mini bellas- big difference IMO when you're vegetarian and paying $16 for a portobello burger. Taste was ok. Husband ate a few bites of his turkey burger and had to use the bathroom. Waitress saw he only ate a couple small bites then ran to the can and that we declined taking leftovers, but didn't even inquire about the food or his well being. Suppose I could have returned it and demanded the charge removed but its really just not my style. When we come back to the Concord in a couple weeks, we'll eat somewhere else. Total bill for two burgers, fries, water was $60. Meh

Ah the name! Love the name!!! I can make so many cheesy Ed Sheeran jokes, but I will refrain. Bad habit left me wanting more, I shall return again for sure. The place is sooo cute. Perfect spot for date night as it is dark but not enough to not know who you are on a date with. The bar is locked and loaded with a great beer selection and has an incredibly creative cocktail menu to go with it. Because I am a lover of old-fashioned drinks, I got "nothing good happens after midnight." It's a twist on the classic but with a citrusy taste to it. I loved it. I didn't get to try the food as I came after the kitchen closed but I will return for sure. They had a burrata and tacos on the menu that I would love to have. I aint mad. Just gotta come again. Gotta say, staff is in top of it too. The bartender was quick and engaging. We also got to talk to the manager who came and sat with us. Arbi made us feel welcome. Can't wait to come back. That burrata is calling my name. You should visit too my fellow yelper.

First time here (concert at Concord pre-show drinks and dinner) and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, modern bar. Bartender was extremely friendly and answered any and all questions. We had tacos and Cajun fries, both of which were delicious. This place should do quite well when concerts are happening next door or anytime someone wants a night out!

Got there just as they were opening. Convenient got the comedy shows and good food and drinks. Micheal, the bartender, was excellent.

Bad was was lit amazing , My personal favorite drink was the adulteress... I got it 3 times so you can tell I love it.. The food was amazing the Cajun fries was little everything especially with the dipping sauce , The Italian drinking noddle was a pasta lover's dream & the Wisconsin chicken sandwich... No words.. I definitely recommend Bad habit for my vegetarian... the crispy avocado tacos too die for and Shockingly the butta at honeydew salad was very good.. I would order again.. The service was amazing everyone was super helpful & friendly and the ambiance was definitely a a cute date night or girls nights .. you don't wanna miss it.

Would have left 5 stars but the number of TVs need to be brought down by at least 1/2 for that :) such a great place! Why ruin it with sports!? Food, drinks and service are off the hook! Had the pork tacos, spicy Paloma (killer!!!) and Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing. Great tunes playing, staff was super friendly and engaging. What a great place to hang out, especially before a show at Congress. Will be back for sure! Give the TVs to the poor for the love of god!

I got delivery so I can't talk about service but my gosh. That Italian drunken noodle was so freaking delicious. It was the best thing that I have eaten in a awhile and I seriously love food. I tried to eat it in portions so that I could enjoy the rest the following day but I kept waking up in the middle of the night to finish it. The Italian drunken noodle!

The spinach dip... perfect. You must order it. Friendly, not too busy, and great bathrooms. Might become a regular soon.

food was meh, drinks seemed watered down. service was okay I guess but so many more special spots in the area.

The old fashioned are excellent. The food is not good. We ordered burger and a chicken sandwich. The bun was cold and the meat was over cooked. I don't recommend this place

Our team walked over for a happy hour last week and we had a fantastic time! They took good care of us and everyone enjoyed the food and cocktails. Great menu with enough variety for everyone in the group, great service. We will be back!
