"For a variety of unique ciders: Cider bars are still trying to become a lasting, sustainable thing, and luckily, Bad Seed Brooklyn is a place worth keeping around. They have a host of unique ciders for different tastes that make for a fun evening, and at $7 a glass, it’s a fairly affordable evening out for this weekend. My favorite was a piña colada cider, the perfect beverage for someone who loves tiki drinks but wants something slightly less indulgent." - Eater Staff

Not many people seem to know about this place yet, it's super quiet and you might even have the place to yourself at the right time. They have a huge selection of draft ciders, more than anywhere else I've seen in NYC. They can do can of anything they have on tap and will do growlers as well. No food here, but you can bring in your own or order in and have it delivered there.

I really enjoyed my visit. The bar tender was helpful and friendly. Great vibe to the place overall. Lovely array of cidres. I highly recommend a flight so you can taste more of them.

Stopped by on their opening night. Very chill space. Great ciders on tap. I recommend getting a flight (or 2) first and then taking home cans or growlers of your favorites. A great addition to the neighborhood.

The place is nice. It has a good bar and tables with a back yard area. Their beer selection is Hit or Miss but that makes sense since they focus on cider. If you're into cider, I'm sure you'll love it!

Love The cider at this place. this is the local tasting room for the upstate New York site already. Everything is grown and brewed in New York state, which is awesome. They're ciders are dry and tend to be very low carb which is great! You can buy they're ciders either in 4-pack cans or they have a large selection on tap what you can purchase and growlers. Good stuff.

Amazing selection of delicious cider made right in the Hudson Valley. Doesn't get any better than that!! Great spot to meet up with friends and grab some flights, plus they let you bring food in which is awesome. 10/10 two thumbs up.

Really cool diamond in the rough. Unique idea of mostly cider-focused drink menu, and it really works. There are some really good ones and a wide variety—I particularly recommend the Whiskey Joe Cider for anyone feeling a bit adventurous (yes, it has strong notes of coffee and a bit of a whiskey infusion as well); surprisingly good. The place is hip and spacious inside, with a modern warehouse chic sort of vibe. Wednesday’s they have discounted growler fills, gonna get in on that for sure.

Glad to have this taproom in Brooklyn, I've been to the orchard upstate and was looking forward to going back - and this was too good of an opportunity to pass up to have Bad Seed Cider again. Sadly, my former favorite Apple Pie cider was not on tap, but they had a bunch of new and cool experiments to try. I ended up having two different flights with friends. If you can handle it try the Bourbon or Cognac Ciders, my new favorites, and avoid the Pineapple, which was watery. Stopped by on Thursday and it was clean, chill, quiet but not empty. The bartender at the time was very distant and quiet as a rock, but it did not detract from the overall experience.
