The Best Wine Bars in Portland

"Along with Nil and Ardor several blocks up, Company is helping turn Southeast Belmont into Portland’s go-to avenue for atmospheric natty wine. The interior captures the casual, chill vibe of a friend’s converted garage with cinderblock walls, patterned rugs, and fold-down chairs, but adds in stand-out touches like a glowing, backlit countertop menu and elegant, non-traditional stemware to elevate the space to a sleek, sophisticated bar and bottle shop. With indoor and outdoor seating that seamlessly blends in warm weather thanks to a roll-up garage door, Company offers fresh by-the-glass options each week like Georgian oranges and Oregon reds, as well as full bottles to-go or to-stay. Make sure to watch out for frequent events like “vino and vinyl” or reading evenings." - Zoe Baillargeon, Alex Frane

18 Portland Breweries Showcasing the Evolution of Craft Brewing

"Baerlic, meaning “of barley” in Old English, produces a lineup of traditional standards, but also pushes boundaries in both its style and process, as exemplified by the omnipresent Dad Beer Lager and the seasonal Dark Thoughts Black IPA, which is 6.66 percent ABV. It’s an iconoclast in terms of its space, opting for a sleek café aesthetic combined with an open ceiling concept, featuring a faux-hedge obscuring a section of booth seating. Baerlic shares a space, dubbed The Piehall with square pizza fave Ranch PDX, at the Southeast taproom." - Ron Scott

8 Best Breweries in Portland, Oregon, Currently Open for Business | Condé Nast Traveler

"With its light wood furniture and bright, modern vibe, Baerlic feels more like a café than your standard brewery; but when it comes to your drink, don't expect a flat white. The brewery looks to the past to inform the present, with beers rooted in the simplicity of malted barley, water, and hops, though they're no means bound by that. Although there's the occasional unconventional beer on the menu, most will be recognizable and straightforward: a super-dry IPA, a Northwest-style pilsner, an imperial stout, or a classic pale ale, all made with consideration and aplomb. This is a perfect kick-off point for a bar crawl around town." - Alexander Frane

Baerlic Brewing Co. – Brewery Review | Condé Nast Traveler

"What's the vibe here? Baerlic feels more like a café than your standard brewery. The long, tunnel-shaped space is awash with light wood furniture, creating a bright, modern vibe that's aided by a wall of windows on one side. The bar is small, a window opposite the front door has a few seats, and guests are spread out with pints and board games. Who can we expect to see here? Folks on a bar crawl or groups of friends who live in the neighborhood. What should we be drinking? Baerlic looks to the past to inform the present; the beers here are rooted in the simplicity of malted barley, water, and hops, though they're no means bound by that. Although there's the occasional unconventional beer on the menu, most will be recognizable and straightforward: a super-dry IPA, a Northwest-style pilsner, an imperial stout, or a classic pale ale, all made with consideration and aplomb. What do they have for food? There's no kitchen—just nuts and pretzels. But there are plenty of options in the area, from burritos and bánh mì on Division to the Hawthorne food carts. And how's the service? It's almost always friendly, informative, and whoever you're talking to is happy to recommend their favorites. So what would you recommend Baerlic for, and why? The laid-back vibe, bright space, and well-made familiar beers make Baerlic an excellent place for a get-together with friends after a long week. It's also a perfect kick-off point for a bar crawl or brewery tour." - Alexander Frane

Baerlic Brewing and Ranch Pizza Have Opened a New Pizza ‘Beer Garden’ Indoors - Eater Portland

"Baerlic Brewing has joined forces with Sicilian-meets-Detroit-style pizzeria Ranch PDX in their expansive new indoor beer garden they’ve dubbed a “piehall.” The 6,000-square-foot space once home to Ladd Taphouse sits next door to Baerlic’s flagship location in Southeast Portland, serving thick slabs of pizza alongside crisp pilsners. Baerlic had been closed for indoor consumption since the beginning of the pandemic, but had opened a large outdoor beer garden with picnic tables out back along 10th Avenue. As the season of uncovered patio drinking has now come to an end, their piehall has opened just in time." - Ron Scott

Google
Pretty good brewery with multiple outpost around Portland. Very good selection of beers styles on tap, oak Saison was excellent and had a perfect hint of oak. Very large space with plenty of seating, real wood fireplace. Bonus for small arcade area. The venue is shared with a pizza shop, which looked very tasty (a bit expensive). Beers to go for sale, along with swag. Outdoor seating as well. Great service and nice atmosphere (large old growth wooden beams and high ceilings) on street parking only. Worth a visit.

Google
Really large brewery with well decorated brew hall. Large pizza 🍕most of the pizza kinda spicy 🌶️ for me. It's a really nice place though. A big indoor fireplace, lots of seating inside and out.

Courtney L

Google
Large space with outdoor and indoor seating. Large selection of draft and beers to go. VERY family friendly (No review on the pizza from ranch)

Google
What a transformation this place went through. It used to be the old blitzlad back in the day and now berlic took them over after they closed and opened the place up to a huge taproom and eatery. What a great job they did with it. Super modern and upscale. Pizza was aboutly amazing. Very flavorful and fresh. Zesty red sauce had a little kick to it but had a ton of flavor. The crust was light and fluffy not too thick a very nice Detroit style crust. This is a must go spot if you haven't been. One of the best places in Portland for the money hands down

Google
Awesome place! Delicious pizza and fresh beer! Love this place!

Google
Wifi password Jul8 - creamale Decent neighborhood brewery. Good patio seating and tons of room indoors. Luckily not blaring any trendy music. They share a space with Ranch Pizza - which is average kind of like cafeteria pizza but they try hard - so there is a food option. The beer is alright but a bit overpriced for what it is. Clean bathrooms.

Google
Update: super family friendly. Toddlers abound. Plenty of beer options on tap as well as cans in the fridge. Lots of indoor seating space and some outdoor as well. Dogs allowed outside on the picnic tables as well as inside during the brief period you’re ordering beer; expect to take your pup back outside again for seating. Love the pizza partnership with Ranch.

Google
Love the pizza here. Have you tried their seasonal special? Sprouts, asparagus, pistachios.... I've never had a pizza feel so fresh before 🌱

Yelp
The beer here is Portland beer.. different and a little funky.. We did a taster flight after talking with one of the ladies working behind the bar, and while totally fun we didn't find anything to drink a pint of. The pizza is good! Very bread heavy, think a loaf of bread sliced in half with toppings.. that bread heavy. The breadsticks are good! They can be a little grease, but very taste. The space is wide open with lots of tables. It would be a great place to meet up with friends at. The parking is also Portland parking. Aka all street and you'll have to walk a block or two usually. All in all, we won't go back on purpose, but it was trying it out.
google avatar

Yelp
Atmosphere: Spacious brewery-type setup. Lots of communal tables. Also a lot of outdoor tables Food: They have Ranch Pizza inside which is excellent (but not the cheapest). They have a good selection of beers that were good enough for me Price: Standard brewery prices Service: Walk-up service. Standard Parking: Street parking

Yelp
Dropped in here last weekend to see a local vendors holiday bazaar. Nice of Baerlic to make their space available to local artisans to display and sell their creations.

Yelp
Great ambiance, great beers, and great food. What else more could you ask for in a place. Offering both indoor seating, which there was ample space, and outdoor seating, about 5 tables on a patio with a few more smaller tables for a more intimate setting, Baerlic is a great spot to meet up with family and friends to have a good time. With a Ranch PDX serving pizza that is to die for, the vibes were immaculate and provided a good atmosphere. There was plenty of street parking around, so you don't need to worry yourself there. They had a good selection of beers and ciders for you to pick from, it was a bit overwhelming for all the choices. Will definitely come back to this lovely establishment with an empty stomach and parched thirst.

Yelp
We were visiting Portland & came across Baerlic on Yelp, it's definitely one of our trip highlights! There was no wait & lots of open tables on a Saturday around 5:30pm. Food was delicious & the Just Beach beer was just what we needed after a day of hiking. We also got bread sticks & a salad, which were okay but I probably wouldn't get again. Service was also super nice & let us sample a few of the beers before we settled on one. Def would come back here if I was ever in Portland again!

Yelp
Great vibes, great pizza, great service! I loved the natural light that came in through the windows, this has lots of seating and options for gathering!

Yelp
My son stopped here for a meal to go, for our family. He ordered: The House Salad. radicchio, basil vinaigrette, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, pepperoncini, breadcrumbs, pecorino romano. With Side Ranch, & Side Basil Vinaigrette. Hawaiian Pizza, Pepperoni Pizza, & Pie Mama Mia Pizza. There are two children in the group. They didn't ate their salad. I didn't eat my salad. Too much radicchio! (They're picky eaters, I'm not, but we're eating at home, instead I made a leaf lettuce salad, with our own dressing. Maybe, tomorrow we can cut up the radicchio smaller and mix that in with other salad veggies we have at home, then try out the dressing). I'll update. The pizza, I ate the Pie Mama Mia. I thought the sauce was really good, and the meatballs, too good! The two adults in our group, they thought they're flavorful. We all prefer the hard crust pizza. If this wasn't a take out, free meal, we probably wouldn't come back. But, that's just us!
google avatar

Yelp
Cool spot. Cool vibe. We did the barrel aged beers and they were ok. It was the season of barrel aged beers when we visited and they had a release party. We tried a handful and they were all ok. I have loved their IPAs in the past, and I will drink there stuff again for sure. I like a lot about them, but would love to visit on a non-event day and maybe try some food.

Yelp
I've always wanted to come to baerlic so we stopped here on our way to a show to watch the duck game and have a couple of beers and some pizza. Had no clue the pizza was that good even tho I just had pepperoni the dough is soft and crunchy and I'm sure they make their ranch in house. I can't comment on the service cause the GF did all the hauling around lol. It's a decently sized place it does need more TVs so far it's just a projector in the back. Place has a cabin vibe to it which is cool. I will be back if I'm in the area again.
google avatar

Nicol L.

Yelp
We took our dogs to hang out with us on their large patio. Our group had a few plates of the breadsticks (you MUST get them, they're so perfectly garlic-buttered). I ordered the NY Times and we highly recommend it! The 1/4 portion sizes are perfect. The crust is just perfectly chewy and full, the cheese is evenly spread, and there's a generous amount of toppings on all of the pizzas. I generally love sours, so I got the Sagardo Cider and it paired well ;)
google avatar

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Came here after getting tacos at Chilango next door and I really liked it! I've become more and more picky about my beer as I get older and Baerlic hit the spot for sure. I got the hazy ipa and my partner got the black lager. The person serving us was super friendly and welcoming and it was a really lively and fun atmosphere! Cute patio for warmer nights too.
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
Cute place with large selection. I tried one of their ipas as well as a cream ale. I always enjoy a place that offers multiple sizes of their pours. Plenty of seating. Friendly staff.
google avatar

Ryan J.

Yelp
Pretty easy parking. One extra reason to try out this brewery. Love that they serve 4oz. More room to try their selection! Clean and open place. Also serves pizza. I had the Good Vibes Only IPA and blueberry by Swift. Both delicious.
google avatar

Janelle A.

Yelp
What a great space to have a beer from Baerlic Brewing and pizza from Ranch Pizza! Sit inside or outside, this place is huge! I loved the Swift cider pineapple, just a little sweet! It's 9:30pm and we already had dinner but everyone ordered pizza and it looked so delicious, crispy, and thick so of course we ordered The #4, 1/4th and it comes in 2 slices! 5/5 pizza with sausage, ricotta, chiles make sure to spread out the ricotta and chiles so every bite has some! Every pizza order comes with ranch! Don't forget to clean up after yourself!
google avatar

Lauren N.

Yelp
Solid place to come have drinks and food with friends/family or to get outside. Cute place with large selection of food carts (see their website). There is plenty of covered outdoor seating. You order your drinks from the bar, and then you have the option of ~7-8 food trucks. So many options for a variety of people. Beer is mostly IPAs! We will be going back again.
google avatar

Christine L.

Yelp
Excellent pizza!!!!!! Can make it vegan too. Lots of seating (mostly booths that can fit 4). Lots of drink options. Parking has generally been easy to find. Can get busy during sports game nights. Friendly staff. Cute mini gift shop type pop up in the middle. Free WiFi and when it's not too busy it's a nice place to sit and work. Fun spot! I like how it's well lit with lights.
google avatar

Roya B.

Yelp
Enormous space, beautifully decorated, with outdoor seating, comfy booths, and high ceilings. Corner lot allows for the sun to flow in. You order at the bar for drinks and there's a separate counter if you want to order Ranch Pizza. We've had the pizza twice now and it's great! Detroit style with nice elevated pizza toppings. And the pizza always comes with ranch! A pizza is great for 3 people, 4 if you're not super hungry. They usually have a lot on draft, with taster, 12 oz and 16 oz pours available. They also have a pretty decent selection of cans to take home.
google avatar

Kimberly D.

Yelp
This place is our go to brewery. I am not a huge beer drinker, but Dad beer goes perfectly with Chinese food which I cook frequently. The service is always great and people are friendly. Always lots of room as the space is ginormous! I think it is a great place to have a big party in and I am guessing you can make reservations for big parties.
google avatar

Tim J.

Yelp
Excellent IPA and impossibly gooey-crunchy pizza.sat outside in the shade, enjoying it all with friends.
google avatar

Joel M.

Yelp
The beer is fine and the service is good, but $8 for a pint is ridiculous. Been coming here since they were doing the beer garden in their loading dock back in 2020, but won't be returning. There are several places in the neighborhood that are more reasonable, will just patronize those from now on.
google avatar

Sterling M.

Yelp
Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Cold beer. Plenty of tables and space. This is definitely a place I'll be returning to. They even have an indoor fireplace to cozy up next to. Pizza place inside is run by another business but it's all under one roof.
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
I've had three different beers from Baerlic Brewing and really enjoyed them! I had the Punk Rock Time which was a refreshing, fruity IPA which was a fun one to drink! The next beer was an Oatmeal Stout, Noble Stout which was very smooth and had a great body to it! But my favorite one out of the three was the Imperial Stout. The Pancake House Maple Cocoa Stout. Oh my goodness now that was a great beer! We had on a cooler day which is great for stouts and this beer was living up to it's name! The maple flavor feature was lovely and it felt like I was sitting down to breakfast with pancakes and syrup! Great brewery!
google avatar

Kareem A.

Yelp
I came for the Ranch Pizza, I stayed for the beer. This taproom has a great vibe and it's in an area by Division where it's easy to find parking and very walkable. The inside is large with a lot of tables. It feels a bit removed from the hustle, which actually feels like a good thing, since it's in a nice neighborhood.
google avatar

Liann A.

Yelp
Great spot in Portland to hang out with friends with a variety of brews on tap to choose from. I enjoyed the beer can decor on the wall. It's a large place inside with tons of tables and places where people can eat and drink. There's also a ranch pizza inside if you also want to order pizza while hanging out. They also have juice, kombuchas, and non alcoholic beverages to choose from too if you're not planning on drinking alcohol. I thought their names were very clever and the art work of the display of the different brews. I can't remember what I got, I think I got the cider that day or a Pilsner but it went well with my pizza. Great spot for groups and meet ups especially if you want to enjoy pizza and a brew!
google avatar

Eugenia Y.

Yelp
Our Airbnb was right across from Baerlic Brewing, so of course we had to try it! It was actually quite a fun experience, as they had some unique beers to try. They actually have different experimental beers, which are fun to try. Additionally, there's a pizza place connected with it, so you can have some pizza along with your beer! Great for hanging out with friends. Overall a fun experience, and I'd love to come back and try their other beers!

Elizabeth R.

Yelp
Great beer and pizza. I'm looking forward to visiting again. We ordered the Mama Mia pizza. I washed it down with the Pancake House porter. So many choices....
google avatar

Charlie T.

Yelp
I've like what they have done to the space during this time. The interior is super spacious with limited seating inside. They have built an area for outdoor seating. I had the Easy Squeezy Cider by 2 Towns and it was perfect for the weather. Sometimes you just need a nice cold relaxing drink. I also tried the Son of Man Basajuan Cider and that was pretty good. They also have Ranch Pizza that you can order... which I did and was glad I did.
google avatar

Andrew H.

Yelp
Man, will the Portland Brewery bubble ever burst? I sure hope not. This is a great brewery in a great location. We sat out on the patio/storefront. The beers are an inventive mix. About half are IPA-ish beers, about half are LAGERS! It's uncommon to see these two styles, prominently featured, together. I also love their glassware, although it definitely comes off as pro-lager, upsetting the delicate balance they have going with ales. Bartender was very friendly. Ambiance is as clean and sparkly as their beers.

Suzi R.

Yelp
Beer and bartender were top notch. Kitchen, not so much. Food service was bordering on passive aggressive... just heard from owner that this is two separate businesses. 4 stars to beer, 0 stars to food.
google avatar

Dornell P.

Yelp
I would put a zero out of five stars if I could. To be fair, we had a great experience with our first round of drinks (they can even look at the camera footage to know this was true). Our daughter and her friend went to the bar to order another round, but the bartender MEGAN, requested proof of ID for additional two drinks the girls were ordering. So me and my partner went to the counter to show our IDs and faces. However, MEGAN the bartender who is much much older than our daughter continued to question, interrogate, intimidate our daughter when she was wanting to taste the beers and indicated their holiday beer didn't match what was online and on their board. Our daughter reached her point of Megan's attitude and did not back down and questioned Megans poor conflict management and bullying tactics. Megan did not like this and called our daughter inebriated, which was far from the truth!! Megan then came to our tables and took the beer we didn't finish and told us to leave. Please DO NOT support this place if you are Native person or a person of color. This place had us walking out utterly unwelcome after ONE drink...because of one power driven stalker woman manager, MEGAN.
google avatar

Matthew H.

Yelp
Delicious beer and Sicilian style pizza. No tvs at the location we visited. So good almost went back the second day on a three day weekend. Go!

Mark D.

Yelp
The beer we tasted were all 5 star. Great place to spend a rainy afternoon listening to a variety it good tunes.
google avatar

Urba M.

Yelp
Great selection of beers, very friendly staff, lots of open seating and a really relaxed atmosphere. Top picks - 'expat' lager and 'you & me'. What's not to love?
google avatar

Brian C.

Yelp
Oat soda was a bomb czech pils, and was dispensed out of the requisite Lukr faucet. The punk af friend behind the bar was a delight and the music was on point. The air conditioning may have also been life-saving. A highlight of my trip last week.
google avatar

Conrad B.

Yelp
Baerlic is a low-key superstar for Portland beer tucked away in a verdant part of inner SE. Hard not to just feel peaceful drinking a beer outside here! Full range of styles, so there's something for everyone. Did I mention the beautiful can art?
google avatar

Paula L.

Yelp
My partner always starts with one of their awesome hazy IPAs, but we both end with the Mexican stout. Holy crap - I don't like beer and I have dreams about this beer - it's that good! Add in a great outdoor area and great staff - it really can't get much better.

Fritz B.

Yelp
Baerlic brewers are very inspired. They have consistently excellent ale across all the varieties. They are doing some real magic with hops. Nice staff too, deserving of generous tips, and fine interior with variety of spaces, fireplace. I am subtracting all the stars, however, for the dreadful music they play at this place. They have a special dj set-up for the business. It is a adequate soundtrack for Portland; Call it woke-punk. Half a dozen visits and I can no longer put up with the affliction. It reminds me how our once lovely city has been destroyed by thoughtlessness, slovenly hipness and self-righteous moral presentation.
google avatar

Dan R.

Yelp
They recently expanded, going from their original small spot, to the large bar next door. In these covid times felt a little spooky, so big and empty. But the beer is very fine, with about a dozen beers on tap and a couple ciders. Plus a wide variety of their product canned to go. I had an into the void ipa, and bought their imperial stout for later. Very knowledgeable and friendly beertender.

Cheryl R.

Yelp
Had a "welcome" gathering here to kick of a wedding weekend and couldn't be more pleased. Not only do they offer a great selection of beer that thrilled our out of town guests and some good Cooper's Hall wine along with a variety of juices, but all of the staff were so easy to work with, fun and were so welcoming to all our guests. We reserved the back room area. When we arrived to set up we were met with a clean, organized space. Tables were set up for guests and a serving station was set up for pizza and salad that they restocked as needed throughout the night. We were able to spruce up the space with some flowers and a few photos of the couple and everything looked great. Thank you to Baerlic Ranch for a memorable evening. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Tip: If you're planning on hosting a gathering here, we gave each guest a wristband, so they were able to go to the bar and order beverages, hold up the wrist band arm and charges went on our tab. Simple and worked great for Baerlic and us.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Love this place try to come once or twice a month. Love the oat soda and cavelier cream ale. Really enjoyed the trickle drops double hazy too. Staff is friendly and accommodating. I take a case home every 3 weeks Their beer is so good.
google avatar

Meredith E.

Yelp
Who doesn't love drinking a barleywine at 10am? The wood working craft shows hosted by Baerlic are a fantastic place to pick up gifts while enjoying 11%+ beers. We also enjoy attending the many beer releases with live music. At all events there is a food truck out front. Any time Baerlic posts a special event in their social media, we are there! Great darker beers and a fantastic atmosphere. With over 67 breweries in Portland, we tend to visit here more often than others.
google avatar

Rebecca L.

Yelp
I feel compelled to leave a review! We were greeted in an unfriendly way and reminded sternly of COVID rules. As if we have not been in a pandemic for 12+ months and it could have been communicated more calmly. The bartend pouring our beers got the orders wrong and acted inconvenienced when we would not just accept the wrong beer from him. There are so many wonderful breweries in Portland, please don't waste your time here!! There was hardly anyone in the brewery and staff milled around without greeting you or looking you in your eyes. What a terrible way to spend an afternoon for our group!

Marc C.

Yelp
If you're reading this from the future, you might remember back in 2020 all the bars and restaurants in Portland shut down for the COVID-19 pandemic. Not a good time for beer drinkers. I figured that instead of getting my usual IPA from my grocery store, I'd try to support local businesses doing delivery instead. I put in my order and paid online, and the next day I had delicious beer delivered right to my front door. It couldn't be easier. I got a couple of my favorites I've had before, and some interesting new ones to try. Definitely more exciting than what the grocery store has to offer. Yeah, things are bad right now, but at least I have beer. Thanks, Baerlic!
google avatar

Corey E.

Yelp
First time here and I'm sure I'll be back! I enjoyed both the IPAs I tried. Baerlic has a ton of seating both indoors and outdoors and there was friendly service the whole time. If you're here you should definitely get some pizza at the attached Ranch Pizza spot. A friend and I shared a half-and-half pizza with cheese and veggie. Wow! The veggie was yummy and while I'm not normally a ranch-with-pizza guy, their ranch was scrumptious.
google avatar

Jennifer J.

Yelp
Great little brewery with a bright, comfortable tasting room. While newer to the ever-growing Portland beer scene, Baerlic seems to be doing it right. As a fan of browns, I was pleasantly surprised to see a Northwest Brown on tap. It was roasty and full of those yummy malt flavors. My hubby enjoyed their IPA, too. The atmosphere was quiet and laid back on a Monday morning. We enjoyed a pint or two and played a game of cribbage with some of their salty bar snacks to get us through until lunch. The beertender was super-friendly and knowledgeable. Baerlic seems like a solid contender in a city where beer has become its own art form.
google avatar

Dirk W.

Yelp
Stopped in to Baerlic Brewing Company on a Sunday afternoon. I apologize for not remembering her name but the individual who served us was extremely knowledgeable about all the beers, even the ones I wasn't interested in. She let us know about upcoming events that we are now excited to attend. Def recommend this place as a beer mecca.
google avatar

Tom G.

Yelp
The beers were really enjoyable, but they don't have many. The bartender was very friendly and the space is nice with some outdoor seating. The beers: Guzzolene dry Stout on Nitro (very good) Eastside oatmeal Pilsner (good) Everlight saison (very good)
google avatar

Lisa D.

Yelp
Delicious beers. Friendly sud-slingers. And, free snack mix. What's not to love? Everyone should try a pint of USA [Ultra Summer Ale] while you can. The Cavalier Cream Ale is also refreshing on a hot summer day. So glad Baerlic is in one of my favorite neighBEERhoods!
google avatar

Kirsten M.

Yelp
Portland has a lot of breweries and beer options, but many of them specialize in hop-heavy and high ABV IPAs, which is my least favorite kind of brew. When they do offer alternatives, it's usually a lager, porter, or stout, which are also not my style. I'm so happy that I found Baerlic! I tried tasters of 6 of the brews, and was a big fan of the sour/wood-aged Harshmellow and the tart Starlighter gose. The Triple Dog Dare schwarzbier was also very nice and a great change of pace. The Cavalier Classic cream ale was a little bland for a winter afternoon, but had a soft rice-flavor and would probably be very refreshing on a hot day. Most of the beers hovered around 5-7% ABV, which is also a great change from some of the places I've seen where 8-15% ABV covers most of their options other than a token lager. As a person of not great size, it's great to know that I can order a full pour and enjoy it without consuming more alcohol than I would prefer. The bartender was very friendly and spent a lot of time talking to me and explaining the beer selections. Her suggestions were on-the-mark and very well informed. AND they have wifi! I'll definitely be back. Great place to hang out alone or with friends. A new favorite for me.
