The 15 Best Breakfast Spots In Seattle

"Bagel Oasis in Ravenna is one of the best bagel shops in town. No need to set alarms or wait forever in line like at other spots—just stroll in and grab an exemplary bagel on your own time. (What a concept.) And for the folks looking for a carbon copy of something you’d find on the East Coast, this is it. Bagel Oasis makes extremely basic but foolproof New York-style dough circles in a space that smells exactly like a Long Island deli. There’s a tender crackle with blistered bubbles, a light and soft middle, and a spongy squish that’s just as excellent covered in cream cheese as it is in breakfast sandwich form." - aimee rizzo, kayla sager riley

Bagel Oasis Review - Ravenna/Roosevelt - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Bagel Oasis in Ravenna is the best bagel shop in town. There's no need to set alarms or wait forever in line like at other spots we won't name—just stroll in and grab an exemplary bagel on your own time. (What a concept.) And for the folks looking for a carbon copy of something you’d find on the East Coast, this is it. Bagel Oasis makes extremely basic but foolproof New York-style dough circles in a space that smells exactly like a Long Island deli. Will the bagels change your life? No. But they meet expectations with flying colors, and that’s why they work. There’s a tender crackle with blistered bubbles, a light and soft middle, and a spongy squish that’s just as excellent covered in cream cheese as it is in breakfast sandwich form. Whatever you do, don’t miss the sourdough flavor. photo credit: Brooke Fiits photo credit: Brooke Fitts" - Aimee Rizzo

The Best Bagels in Seattle | Eater Seattle

"A lot of places have popped up across Seattle since Bagel Oasis set up shop in 1988, but few are able to replicate the classic feel and consistently good bagels found here. Ask any longtime local and they’ll tell you that trendy shops and Instagram-friendly pop-ups come and go but Peter Ryan’s Ravenna bagel shop is Seattle’s doughy, dependable constant. Search the morning’s bagel baskets for golden brown goodies but don’t sleep on bagel sandwiches like the Emerald City Gem or Meatless in Seattle." - Eater Staff

The vibe was off when I walked in the door to what feels like an old diner with 2024 prices. The two line situation (one for here and one to go) was convoluted, the service was quick and friendly but the food is pricy for what you receive. I ordered an everything bagel with lox schmear and received a salt bagel with lox schmear. When I let them know they made me my correct order immediately, however, my bagel wasn’t toasted. It was good I suppose but nothing remarkable. The everything seasoning was slightly muted. My kids enjoyed their plain bagels. I wish them the best of luck, there were enough people coming and going that I know they will survive. A couple a tweaks and they could be thriving.

Broken Boundaries

Google
I was a bit nervous given recent reviews but I love me a good NY bagel. They did not disappoint, both were toasted to perfection and plenty of cream cheese. I had a onion bagel w/ fetta, garlic & dill flavored cream cheese and it was just as pungent flavorful as I'd hoped. Hubby had a Everything bagel w/ lox flavored cream cheese. Although delicious I wouldn't say it gave the lox experience. Which is totally ok, just know that going into it. I don't love the prices, however given the cost of overhead I understand it.

Google
Look. I grew up eating bagels outside of Seattle so I know what a good bagel is. Seattle doesn’t bagel very well. It’s a fact. In fact, I think Seattle might purposely try and be ruining the bagel. And that’s fine. (It’s not fine, but honestly just not in the mood right now.) So when I tell you Bagel Oasis has a good bagel, I mean it. It is without a doubt one of the best bagel shops in Seattle. They are dense, they are chewy, and they are flavorful. Everything a bagel should be. They are trying to save Seattle’s bagel reputation, and for that reason, I’m in.

Google
Pleasant, bright interior in 1930s Ravenna neighborhood business district a mile north of University of Washington campus. Attentive, friendly counter staff. Flavorful bagels, but lox schmear didn’t have much flavor of the mix-in (garlic/dill was better) and cream cheese in both seemed like it was from the Kraft Philadelphia box. Perhaps true of many shops, but these days there are also plenty with homemade cream cheese, a step up. Chocolate malt iced latte innovative and tasty. Veggie pesto omelette was flavorful with plenty of broccoli, peppers, and other fill. All in all a decent spot, and would hit it again if in the neighborhood and hungry, but not as a destination bite.

Google
My coworker brings in these gems from time to time. They go fast. My coworkers will stop whatever they're doing and just enjoy their bagel for 10min. Thank you Jenny for turning us onto these yummy bagels. The Cream cheese is delightful as well.

Patrick Christie

Google
Bagels were great and closest to a NYC bagel that I’ve had in Seattle. The employees were phenomenal and very accommodating. There’s an expedited lane for bagel/cream cheese only orders as well. I will definitely be back.

Vivian K

Google
I love bagels from bagel oasis! I also love to buy their flavored cream cheese for use at home. Their food is tasty and delicious, but dining in leaves something to be desired. The space is mostly empty and when ordering in you still receive your food on a paper plate in a plastic container with the side and pickle individually wrapped- I was disappointed in the amount of waste generated from eating in. This space is better suited for a quick drop-in (ordering to-go).

Google
I'm a big fan of the Bagel-O. I'm usually there once a week to write, fueled by a couple cups of coffee and lunch. Bagels are fresh (and I'm a former New Yorker, so I'm a bit spoiled), staff is generous with the toppings, and the other items on the menu that I've tried have been good, too. Prices are reasonable. As someone who goes there to write, atmosphere matters. Top impressions: simple; warm; woody; clean; calm; big windows overlooking the street letting in the light; good music playing, but never too loud; mellow neighborhood hangout; everyone from moms with babies in strollers, oldsters on walkers, and high schoolers on lunch break come through the doors. Best part for me: the staff. I've been coming here for years, so I've seen a variety of folks working here. Without a single exception, they've been friendly and good at their jobs, and they've been more than accommodating to the guy who plants himself at table and works for several hours (me).

Yelp
With all the writeups on various newbie bagel biz, you'd think the greater Puget Sound region just discovered this versatile carb canvas. A total bagel OG indie since 1988...36 years!...in Seattle's Ravenna neighborhood. I used to live next door and acclimated to that pleasant scent. Well except way back when, seeing rolling bagels on fire. Another anecdote entirely, I digress. I've bought countless bagels for home and for work way back when, preYelp. Totally surprised that I haven't penned an actual post. Well today I stopped in during the last business hour (3pm) and was surprised to see such a surplus in the display case (9/26/24). I ordered a plain bagel ($2.75), toasted, then with an added schmear of cream cheese ($3). As vanilla as it gets. With tax & tip, this was $7.35. Wow. Seriously. I paid up and satiated the need for dunch/linner while on a budget and on the go. Having recently stopped by Toasted in the UDistrict and Eltana on Capitol Hill, I was feeling nostalgic and stopped in at Bagel Oasis. I just can't get over how much bagels, like everything else, has become so pricey.

Yelp
This is the top bagel shop in the region at the moment. At the very least, top 3. It's the one store I keep returning to while waiting for a new place to open soon. But it's not consistent. I sat and watched five or six batches of bagels come out of the kitchen one morning, and every batch was cooked to a different degree of brown (even factoring in different flavors). And the edge-to-edge thickness was not consistent in some bagels. Oh, and they crowd the bagels so they up with flat sides like a bad donut. But the flavor is good. And I can fix them at home when reheating in a convection oven. Will definitely be returning.

Yelp
0/5 for service. When I walked in at 2 30pm on a Thursday, 2 people were making bagels, 0 people greeted me. A woman in line said she'd been waiting over 5 minutes already. One of the bagel orders came out, and the person had to come back to the counter because his bagel was missing lox. After 10 minutes, the woman in front of me was finally able to order (the first time either of the people behind the counter acknowledged her) - she had to wait 10 minutes for 6 bagels and cream cheese to-go!!! I ordered a bagel with lox, and it was only after I got home that I realized that they forgot my lox, too. I returned and they kindly remade my bagel sandwich. However, they only added 1/2 a slice of lox to each side! The standard is at least 3 slices of lox, so you get a nice thick bite. What a waste of both $15 ($20 with tax and tip!) and time.
google avatar

Mariah H.

Yelp
Charging $4.50 to add schmear to a $3.50 bagel is highway robbery. The bagels are not toasted, which I understand is a thing but you should AT LEAST ASK if people want them toasted. They're also not warm. I've come in before but this is the last time. Will just go to Hey Bagel, where you can get 4oz of schmear (enough for two bagels) for $4.
google avatar

Ana F.

Yelp
Dirty look(owner /workers ) felt the racism ,,poor service.... Only for a fresh bagel .

Kara W.

Yelp
Amazing bagels and cream cheese. They do both cream cheese and sandwiches on bagels, the workers are nice too. Their salt bagels? Absolute bomb, just be warned, it is VERY salty! Hard for me to say it, I like it more than hey bagel.

Yelp
This review is exclusively for the pumpernickel bagel! I have been separated from New York, and my beloved pumpernickel bagel with whitefish salad, for nearly nine months now. I have not sought one out here in Seattle because I was skeptical one would meet my standards. Turns out, people here are committed to making VERY discerning lists of the best bagels in town, especially for a place that doesn't have too many options in the first place. Bagel Oasis' bagels are a standout among permanent stores; the creme de la creme, of course, comes from elusive popups like Hey Bagel. The inside is a bit bleak for dining in, but the guy at the counter was very friendly! A single bagel came out to about $3. Because they don't carry whitefish salad, I took the bagel home to assemble. The taste test exceeded expectations: the crust was hard enough that tapping on it sounded like a horse's gallop, but not too tough (one can only assess bagel texture properly when untoasted); the inside was chewy without being dense. An extremely successful bagel quest!

Emily M.

Yelp
The bagels here are fine to good for a NY style bagel -- I prefer Mt. Bagel or Old Salt, but they'll do, especially for a bagel with egg and cheese. But the amount of cream cheese I got on my bagel was actually offensive given that it cost $4.25 -- that's just for the schmear! not the bagel! -- it was a painfully thin layer, probably not more than an ounce. The opposite of a real ny bagel with a massive schmear. On top of that, they forgot one of the bagels that we ordered, and we didn't realize it until we were already back at home. Boo.
google avatar

Merman S.

Yelp
This Place Sucks !!! They are extremely unorganized !! And it's definitely the last time I'll ever come here. I've watched them get 3 orders wrong in. Down a let the customers leave with the wrong orders.. it's sad. and we have
google avatar

Jeremy K.

Yelp
Lackluster service. Didn't ask me whether I wanted it sliced or toasted. The untoasted, unsliced bagel was rock hard when I bought it at noon. Will not be going back.
google avatar

Frannie Y.

Yelp
Bagel oasis is one of the better bagel spots in Seattle! It's no Mt. Bagel or Howdy Bagels but it'll hit the spot when you want a sausage, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. I've also had their bagel with cream cheese which was better than I expected! The cream cheese was light and fluffy, and they weren't skimpy with the cream cheese (although still nothing close to the amount bagel spots in NY give you).
google avatar

Becca F.

Yelp
Bagels themselves are very good (chewy with blistery outside). However, it should be an actual crime to list avocado as a sandwich ingredient and then give you sad watery guacamole. I'm looking at you emerald sandwich. Service was slow and a not super friendly. Tables were dirty. Would probably go for a bagel with cream cheese as takeout if we returned in the future.

Leonard V.

Yelp
The original bagel shop in Seattle. We have been going there for years. The bagels are fresh and hot and the flavors are delicious
google avatar

Bonnie G.

Yelp
I had a hard time deciding how to rate our experience. The freshly made bagels are good, though I thought the everything bagel only had a light sprinkling of "everything" on the top. We tried two sandwiches. I had the Meatless in Seattle. Impossible to eat as a sandwich. A big mess. Thick slices of cucumber with tomato and onion with a smear, mashed avocado and havarti. The insides slid all over the place. Had to take it apart to eat it. A serious mess. My other had the 520 Quartet. He liked the textures and flavors but had pieces of fat/grissle that couldn't be chewed/eaten. We wanted to buy a couple dozen bialys and they only had 7. They nicely offered to bake more while we ate our sandwiches. They freshly made warm bialy was the best thing we ate.
google avatar

Val E.

Yelp
$13.99 for a fully loaded lox bagel? Yes please!! I had the salmon and lox sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel with a lovely cappuccino. Super sweet employees, and I like how they offer an express line for people just buying bagels by the dozen! Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.
google avatar

Liz B.

Yelp
Great bagels, pretty close to NY quality, albeit pricey! It was close to $40 for a baker's dozen and cream cheese (2 containers). Didn't try their drinks. Staff was friendly.
google avatar

Bonnie S.

Yelp
We love the bagel oasis. Very good bagels, especially whole wheat and pumpernickel. That said, come early in day if you want your choice of bagels.
google avatar

Thomas A.

Yelp
Been there couple of days ago seeking morning breakfast. Well place was nearby so I wanted to try. Paid about $13 for a bagel-sandwich which was 1/5, interior is old and in a bad condition for the price policy they asking. Coffee not the worse. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 just because of server. She was nice and polite

Bob S.

Yelp
Closest to NY bagels that I found in the Seattle area. The service is not very friendly or efficient, but it was worth the trip for the bagels. The bagels were obviously boiled and have the chewy texture that I am looking for. If you prefer a texture more like bread, go elsewhere

Karen S.

Yelp
Nearly $8 for a mediocre whole wheat bagel and lackluster sundried tomato/basil cream cheese. I was starving and desperate for a bite to eat. Hadn't been here in several years, but I remembered their bagels as being good. That was well over 6 years ago. Man, have things changed. I understand inflation, but what you pay for an underwhelming bagel and cream cheese here is ridiculous. And the seating in their booths is super uncomfortable. Not recommended, at all.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a very tough review to write, I've been a dedicated Bagel Oasis customer for over 30 years but I can honestly say this place has hit rock bottom and it's time to take my business elsewhere as they're literally not even trying any longer. First off, prices have gone through the roof. For years, our Sunday morning ritual has been to run to Bagel Oasis and pick up a dozen bagels with a couple of containers of cream cheese. With tax and tip this is now a $45+ proposition. For bagels and cream cheese. I mean, the bagels are good but it's still just bagels and cream cheese. Now, up until the Covid pandemic we would stop by at least once every 1-2 months for a full sit-down breakfast, as the omelettes have always been pretty solid and our family of four could eat for a very reasonable price. I realized we haven't dined in since the pandemic ended and for Father's Day this was my destination of choice. Poor decision. Let's start with the prices: $71 for bagels and eggs for four people. Seriously? And when I went to refill my coffee at the counter I was told this would be an additional $0.55. Excuse me? I just paid $71 for breakfast and you're going to charge me another $0.55 to refill an 8oz. coffee? For all of the years I've been coming here, I've never experienced an up-charge for a plain drip coffee refill, nor would I at any other restaurant. As they say, penny wise and dollar foolish. And mind you, we're not even talking about being served at the table... Pre-pandemic they would bring your breakfast to your table on a nice plate with real silverware. Now? Brown bag, plastic containers, plastic utensils, pick it up at the counter. Remember, we are dining in, not taking out. If I wanted to eat out of a plastic container I would have ordered takeout teriyaki. Finally, let's talk about the service and cleanliness...no service to speak of, and the restaurant was frankly disgusting. After we ordered, we went to four different open tables before we found one that was relatively clean. Note, I say *relatively* clean, as we still had to get some napkins and wipe down the table ourselves. The restaurant wasn't even busy...there were only two occupied tables, and the first three empty booths we visited were all dirty. Might the staff might be motivated to clean the restaurant, as it was mostly empty? Don't be silly...the four employees I saw were too busy standing in a circle behind the counter talking amongst themselves to be bothered. I know that times are tough for all businesses...employees are hard to find, prices for everything are high, etc. etc. etc. But if you're going to charge premium prices, at least think about how you're going to present your product and how you treat the customer. Like I said, I've been coming here for over 30 years, more than half my life, but when a business is failing itself and no longer even trying, it's time to move on to other options...of which there are plenty.

Yelp
I love this place and these bagels sooo much! You have to get the everything bagel with the scallion cream cheese. So delicious!
google avatar

Erica P.

Yelp
Let's start with the good: the bagels. I am an avid lover of bagels and I enjoyed these. I had an onion bagel with scallion cream cheese. The onion bagel was nice, soft but chewy and nicely onion-y. The cream cheese was full of scallions, almost, but not quite overwhelming in its scallion-ness. The not so good: the customer service. The staff was almost surly at times. I could definitely see how constantly instructing people where to go to order take out vs dine in could get old and frustrating, but if no one is paying attention to your nondescript signs, maybe you should either a) make new signs or b) revamp your process. Even though we did follow said signs, we were still met with a heavy sigh when ordering, we had to repeat our order multiple times and still our take away order wasn't right; we ordered 6 bagels and some schmear, nothing fancy. Overall, an underwhelming experience.
google avatar

Arlene S.

Yelp
Ordered two bagel sandwiches. The cheddar and roast beef was just ok. A real disappointment was an onion bagel with cream cheese, tomato, lox, onion & capers. The lox was nearly non existent, as was the cream cheese. The bagel was good though.
google avatar

Kristen B.

Yelp
This is my second time ordering Uber East and Grub Hub delivery .. I really love this sausage egg and cheese bagel sandwich .. On a Garlic Bagel so delicious and always arrives warm cheese still melting ..So delicious ! I also ordered three everything bagels and some vegi cream cheese. I store in a ziplock and they stay soft and delicious for the week! If you are craving bagels in any form this is your one stop shop! My favorite!!

Liam A.

Yelp
13.50 for an untoasted bagel with almost no cream cheese and some shitty egg. L bagel shop
google avatar

Audrey B.

Yelp
Best Bagels in Seattle for my money. Buy them when they are hot and you will be in heaven biting into one. Atmosphere of restaurant is 1950s diner style. No fun to eat there. Second favorite bagels are from Epstein in QFC, University Village. But Epstein doesn't have any other food and Its not a restaurant. The young lady who serves us is a delight.
google avatar

Kendra D.

Yelp
Order from here almost once a week, good bagel sandwiches and love that they are on grub hub since I work close by

Tanya P.

Yelp
Excellent bagels and comparable to a New York City bagel! The plain sourdough with butter and pumpernickel were great!
google avatar

Pamela F.

Yelp
Very stingy on the lox. And we ordered a bagel sandwich to go for our plane ride. How brainless it was of them not to even cut in in half! What really angered me was that they added an additional dollar to the generous tip I left them! WOW! How unethical is that? Also, they need to update their website; the priced don't match the actual prices! No. We won't be returning.
google avatar

Trinity M.

Yelp
So good! Tried this for the first time recently. Blazing Bagels is our go-to but it was far too crowded on a Sunday morning. Went here instead. Pleasantly surprised! Got 4 egg, cheese, and sausage bagels, 1 everything bagel with scallion cream cheese, and a coffee. Price was reasonable at ~$45 or so. Only thing was the wait was a little long, but understandably so (Sunday morning lots of traffic). Parking lot was conveniently located just around the corner with lots of spaces. I would come back for sure!
google avatar

Joshua B.

Yelp
Our bagel was average however, my girlfriend ordered a sausage and egg NO cheese and she ended up with bacon AND cheese. I ordered sausage & bacon with no cheese. I ended up with bacon AND cheese. Clearly not the best listeners
google avatar

Jena P.

Yelp
I really enjoy this shop. My only complaint is you cannot remove items from a meal/sandwich if you order online or through an app. The meatless is Seattle is delicious, except the avocado spread. Definitely a tasty stop.
google avatar

Robert K.

Yelp
I wanna start by saying I love their food. The bagel sandwiches are so good. Would eat them everyday! However, the customer service at this place is diabolical. Everybody here is very stand-offish and extremely anti social. I was the only person here about a week ago and I ordered 1 breakfast bagel sandwich. After waiting about 15 minutes I started to pace back and forth to make my curiosity and frustration visible, yet the girl saw me and chose not to acknowledge me... Fair enough. Then after about ten more minutes I go up and ask what's taking so long and the girl says "oh the person who's qualified to make the sandwich was on break, but they just got back and is gonna start making it now". This is probably the rudest and most inconsiderate interaction I've ever had in my life at a restaurant. This venue needs a manager. The young adults they have running it are making this place an atrocity. Owner, take notice of all the reviews about the terrible customer service and hire better employees!
google avatar

Howard W.

Yelp
I'm visiting my kids from the east coast. While Bagel Oasis bagels are good, they are very small compared to NJ/NY bagels and more expensive. The service from the staff is mediocre at best. Someone took my order this morning, and then goes off to do something else, leaving my bagel sitting there. Then someone else made my bagel sandwich, tossing the bagel I had picked back into the place it came from and picked another bagel from same flavor pile. The Schmear was light also. I'll good to Blazing Bagels next time!
google avatar

Ruth T.

Yelp
For a $7 bagel, this is one sad looking breakfast , they didn't even try. There is potential in this place being amazing but not like this. Not sure if the photo did it justice on just how little eggs they use. The egg is paper thin? Bagel is pumpernickel and it's good so that gives it a star
google avatar

Sarah E.

Yelp
this review is specifically in regard to cross-contamination and food handling issues that I believe other folks in the community should be aware of before eating here. my order of a cinnamon raisin bagel toasted with plain cream cheese was clearly cut in half using a knife that had either lox or lox cream cheese all over it. I was about to begin eating the first half of my sandwich and noticed there was orange goo all over the cream cheese. my partner opened his bagel sandwich (an everything bagel with scallion cream cheese) and it actually had a whole chunk of salmon on it. I am pretty deathly allergic to salmon, so I couldn't eat my sandwich at all ...but even if I weren't allergic, this is still unacceptable. cross-contamination is a food handling no-no. it makes sense now that they only have an "Okay" safety rating from King County. had I not been paying close attention before eating, I would have landed in the ER. won't be back, which is unfortunate because I'd otherwise heard good things and this spot seemed promising. but it's not worth risking health and safety for an overpriced bagel and cream cheese.

Yelp
I would give them a 0 if I could. My boyfriend and I went to grab 2 lox bagels to celebrate a special day. We came in 20 mins before they closed at 4, as another customer was just walking out. The girl behind the counter seemed annoyed to be getting customers in the last half hour, so we were extra friendly, ordered, paid, left a very nice cash tip, and waited outside until our order was ready. It was provided in a large paper bag so we were able to take it home (4 mins away). Upon opening our containers, we noticed that one crucial piece was missing on both our bagels- the lox. We knew they were now closed but called the store in case anyone picked up. Someone did- not the girl who helped us but someone else. We explained our situation and to our surprise he abruptly told us to come back the following day for a refund. We explained that we would not want a refund if we could just come back and have them hand the salmon to us, we don't even need to come inside and ask them to add it to the bagel. They refused, and refused to provide a refund either over the phone or in person. We did not want to wait until tomorrow in case they would refuse a refund since it was the next day and the food would be gone or in the trash. My boyfriend drove over anyway, since it was a literal 4 min drive away. The two employees looked at him and chatted amongst themselves when they saw him at the door. The person who answered the phone eventually came up and opened the door, refused to take the bag back as proof of purchase for the next day, refuses to provide a refund OR just hand him the salmon. When calling the manager AND owner of the store, both defended their employees terrible customer service and refused to provide a refund as well. NEVER AGAIN.

HH H.

Yelp
They best bagels in the city. Been coming here forever! We adore the everything bagels and the scallion cream cheese. Fabulous staff!

Trevel T.

Yelp
boors work. in the morning, if you don't want them to ruin your mood, don't go there. Your morning isn't worth it. especially if a plump, fair-haired girl works, she doesn't respect her clients at all.

Natalie B.

Yelp
Tasty coffee, kind staff, and GREAT bagels. My breakfast sandwich came on a freshly baked sesame bagel and it was a 10/10 Stop by this cute and cozy local shop!

Leslie M.

Yelp
This bagel place is the same as it was 15+ yrs ago and while that might be good for some, the value is not the same. 3/7/24 and I paid $6.62 for 1 toasted bialy ($3) with cream cheese ($3 for either a light or regular portion). And while it's the closest thing to a real NY bialy I've found in Seattle, it's probably cheaper to have them shipped to me by the case, frozen from the East coast. The vibe inside is not cheerful or uplifting, music would help as would updated seating.

Yelp
By Seattle standards it's a good bagel, if I lived in the area I'd stop by from time to time because they are decent bagels (and I do love Bagels). Like many others that lived on the east coast , they just are not amazing. They are too small and the taste just isn't there. Blazing Bagels is still the best (NY style) bagel you can get in Seattle area. Eltana is the only Montreal bagel in town. So if your in the area, sure....but I wouldn't drive for these bagels. The staff was nice and the place was clean.

Yelp
The bagels are good and chewy and somewhat close to New York bagels, but the prices are just ridiculous - 7 dollars for a simple bagel and cream cheese. Also their bagel variety isn't as big as some other Seattle spots. Still think it was a solid bagel but the value for money wasn't there

Yelp
Say wha?!? I can't believe the rating is sooo low! Granted, it appears most of the low ratings are due to service/wait times and I have only experienced Bagel Oasis from a food delivery service... I've regularly ordered from Bagel Oasis for the last 6/7 mos when I get a hankering for bagels. I like their bagels. They actually taste like bagels and not just bread that's been formed into the shape of bagels (yeah some of the other bagel places taste like this!) my go-to is the everything bagel but I like to change up my cream cheese game. Like one of the other reviewers said the bagel could you just a lil more chew, but it is still quite solid in consistency and flavor. The feta and dill cream cheese is yum to the max!! Good ratio of the cream cheese to dill-it's light on the feta so not overpowering. The lox and veggie are great too! One of my coworkers swears by their egg on a bagel with sausage and cheese.

Yelp
Good consistency of the bagel but they are also flavorless. We tried plain, salt and sourdough. Yes the staff isn't friendly as others have noted. No need to come back here. Maybe if you put a bunch of stuff on them you won't notice.

Yelp
Gross! I got my usual of a plain bagel with strawberry cream cheese and the fruit salad. I went to take a bite of the fruit salad and the honeydew was fermented! Yum! Fortunately they were nice and understanding and gave me a refund for the fruit salad! The bagel and cream cheese has always been good! I was just surprised to bite into a piece of fermenting honeydew! I will be back; but now I know to stay away from the fruit! What is going on??? Just went back today...thought I would give the fruit salad a shot again, and yuck!!!! The grapes were okay; but the honeydew and the cantaloupe both tasted disgusting! I'm becoming angrier and angrier with this place! The cantaloupe and the honeydew both tasted like the fridge! Not even joking! I had a piece of honeydew that tasted like meat! How is that even possible? This place has decent bagels and spreads; but at this point, I don't think I'll be back!

Yelp
In Seattle we are starting to have choices when it comes to bagels. As such Bagel Oasis needs to step up the game. The bagels where ok. I got a salt bagel and it just a slightly salty plain bagel. It did not have that punch in the face salt that it should have. The smoked salmon spread was blended, which is nice, but not enough salmon. It was slightly fishy plain spread.

Yelp
What a fun small business to step into! The freshly baked bagels with an omelette is a must-have! The staff were super friendly and responsive. However the bathrooms were a bit dirty and hard to find. Overall a great place for a fulfilling bagel sandwich!
