This bustling bagel haven serves up a variety of chewy, fresh bagels and hearty breakfast sandwiches, perfect for a satisfying meal any time of day.
"A trip to Bagel Pub on a Saturday morning is a Crown Heights rite of passage, and the crowd, discussing their Friday nights at the tables outside, or waiting in a line just to get through the door, can be overwhelming. Inside, the folks behind the counter are simultaneously slicing bagels and taking names, patrons stand in two separate lines glued to their phones, and an Ariana Grande song from 2010 will probably be blasting from the sound system. But once you taste the thick bagels, you’ll thank yourself for pushing through. Exceptional spread options like za’atar cream cheese aside, the airy bagels from this Brooklyn mini-chain will bring you more joy than at least two or three of your current friendships. And even though it gets busy, the bagels typically come out nice and hot. photo credit: Kate Previte" - Willa Moore
"This small chain of Brooklyn bagel shops turns out bagels with lots of chew, perfect for an egg and cheese sandwich or good enough on their own. Breakfast sandwiches are available in myriad forms, including those with hash browns, turkey bacon, and chipotle cream cheese. Expect a line that goes out the door on weekends, with a selection of inventive bagels — egg everything, pumpernickel everything — visible in a row of stainless steel baskets, regularly replenished." - Robert Sietsema, Eater Staff

"Locals are at odds with Bagel Pub over its leftover food. Ted Rao, a social security and disabilities lawyer, has been digging through the bagel shop’s trash at its Crown Heights location to collect and redistribute what he views as 'perfectly good' bagels, the New York Post reports. Chris Kotsis, manager of the shop, doesn’t like that: He says he’s been ticketed three times because of Rao. To stop the bagels from being collected, he’s allegedly been mixing them with wet food scraps and cleaning chemicals in his trash." - Luke Fortney
"This neighborhood bagel spot, which has locations in Crown Heights and Park Slope, has an extensive selection of flavored cream cheeses, including bacon cheddar and tofu. Sandwiches, smoothies, and other deli items round out the long menu. Order online." - Carla Vianna, Eater Staff
