Bagel Supreme

Stopped in early morning about a quarter after seven in the morning on a Thursday, walked in and it was very clean but nothing spectacular inside. It’s a small place with two tables, for seating of four at each. You can sit down and wait for your order or you can have a seat and eat. Wait time was under five minutes for them to take my order and another five minutes or so for it to be completed. I was going to order a plain bagel but I noticed they had a tray of croissants off to the side, so I ordered one lighty toasted and lighty buttered. I was a tad disappointed because they appeared freshly baked but when I tried it, I didn’t get that freshness feeling. To me it tasted just like a regular croissant that you can buy that already came prepackaged. Overall the service was decent, so I’d give it a try with something different

Got here 5:50 am to attend the pre bike ride before NYC Marathon start. Shop opened early and line had already formed with many New York’s Finest in blue. The wait was only 5 minutes, line moved quickly. I ordered the 3 egg whites on a bagel and was charged $5. I pointed out to the cashier that the menu overhead states $4.25. She said it’s the tax. Looking at the receipt, there was a discrepancy. Not wanting to hold up the line and fuss over 75 cents, I moved aside. Either she is incorrect or the system hasn’t been updated to reflect the new higher price. Coffee was a good deal for a medium size at $2. Also able to sit inside away from the cold autumn air. Place does look quite busy, not sure if the marathon played a role in this or food is just good. I do hope they rectify the price issue so other customers don’t make a fuss…

Great little spot for a quick and yummy breakfast. Staff is always friendly and orders come out in a timely manner. My favorite is a toasted sesame bagel with lox spread but we've also tried their breakfast sandwiches and breakfast burritos and been happy with what we got. It's my go to bagel spot in Bay Ridge.

definitely overpriced for what i got. as you can see from the picture, i got a bacon egg and cheese, and it was mostly bagel… it didn’t taste too great either. i also got a small coffee (cappuccino) to go with it, and it was way too sweet. i had higher expectations — okay place to try once but won’t be coming back.

I was eating alone at a table, guy sits down at my table, I said excuse me, I didn't ask you to sit down with me, while I'm eating, his girlfriend starts going nuts on me, we can sit wherever we want... workers did absolutely nothing!! Terrible the way they let someone harass a customer without doing anything. I'll never be back, and I don't recommend anyone go there. You can do a whole lot better than this place!

Food is prepared by an awesome staff. It's just a simple bagel shop but the bagels are great. Coffee is good as well.

Wow! This is lowkey a great spot. Came to try out lox on a roll with no cream cheese and it was great. Also idk why someone said over prices i paid 9.99 for mine and came with pickle and chips!

The bagel was nice, no complaints there. But paying was fairly easy UNTIL I went to my banks website and found they charged me $10.82 even though my receipt said $10.50. I don't know why there was a difference. It doesn't seem correct to be tax. And I left a cash tip. And whatever it was, I believe it should have been stated on the receipt. I wonder how many others have had extra money show up on their receipts.

First time trying it here and I called ahead to order a sandwich and when I arrived it was ready to go barely any wait which was great and kind workers. When i opened the sandwich the ham was 1/4 inch thick. I didn't see this until after I brought it home. I usually don't have to specify thickness when ordering a sandwich at a deli but here you need to if you like your cold cuts thin

A small but great bagel place in Bay Ridge near Fort Hamilton. They have Taylor ham (which is good but not mind-blowing - I'll stick to bacon) and lots of omelette and wrap options. People who work here are all pretty friendly. Place is busy and the bagel selection is extensive.

This place is trash. I ordered from them, and they messed up my order several times. I went to buy a parfait, and it had mold all over it, I checked the other ones, and they were the same. My sandwich was ordered with cheese, and they gave me no cheese. I call, and they have the nerve to tell me they put cheese. When I'm sitting there, eating a dry ass salami and egg sandwich. Like, excuse me, I know what the he'll I'm eating! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY

This Place Sucks!!! I live in the neighborhood...In the past month I have gone in there 3 different times around 1:30 PM....each time I asked for a tuna hero...I was told they have no more Tuna until the next day. I don't understand..maybe because they close at 3PM... they put it away..I have no idea.. .and don't want to be bothered!! I was in there today 1/05/24...How can they not have tuna everytime I went in there??? Plus today..I'm standing there and just being ignored for close to 10 minutes!!! One girl in there is cleaning equipment. The other guy that was sweeping finally helped me...I am a senior citizen 62 years old!! In all of my life I was made to feel absolutely HORRIBLE!!! If these people don't like there jobs they should quit!!! NEVER WILL I WALK IN HERE AGAIN!!!!! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL!!!

I mistakenly came here Sun 12/10 for a too good to go pick up order (that was actually at a place a few blocks away). The employees tried to kindly and patiently explain to me that something must have been wrong, but I was still waking up and easily confused. I acted like an a**, and they were very kind and nice, as they always are. I couldn't make it back to apologize in person, but I can definitely confirm that the employees are nice and try to be helpful. And the coffee and food we've gotten have always been good. My kid a big fan of the muffins.

This small and seemingly hidden bagel shop sells some decent bagels. Stopped by at around 1:30 pm for an everything bagel with lox and scallion cc. Since their bagels weren't as fresh at 1 pm as they would be in the morning, we asked them to warm them up lightly. A light warming made them taste just fine. The bagels had a nice crisp exterior with a chewy interior, were large, and nicely seasoned. Bagel sandwiches are filled generously but perhaps a bit too much? While their bagels themselves are worthwhile, I personally didn't like their cream cheese. It was so stiff and sat on the bottom of my bagel like a block of cream cheese rather than a smear. I had to remove most of the cream cheese to actually enjoy the sandwich. We also ordered two bagels with bacon, eggs, and cheese but they seemed to forget the cheese. While service is friendly, they are slightly slow. To be honest, if you'd like to dine from here, I'd suggest a bagel with butter and no further. For a bagel sandwich, I'd visit another bagel place.

Stopped by to get a bagel fix! Got a toasted plain bagel with lox cream cheese spread. I love the bagels here, they're so fluffy on the inside and have a nice crispy crunch on the outside. Also enjoy that this place does sandwiches, wraps and has a large beverage/snack section to compliment your bagel.

This is my go-to spot for bagels! They carry a great variety of bagels. The bagels are chewy, loaded with toppings (except for the plain ones) and a decent size. I've gotten a dozen bagels from this place before and they keep well in the fridge. Each bagel is $1 each but I think if you buy them by the dozen they are cheaper.

Crazy out of control new guys charging unjustified prices for example: toasted bagel with lettuce, 2 eggs and bacon for $7 and toasted bialy with lettuce and tomato also $7, are you kidding me? The lady who was always there with the previous crew, they were the best, no wonder the store was empty when I walked in today. Will not be going there soon

Decent bagels, decent prices, good coffee. What more do you need? Cash only! Friendly staff, egg sandwiches for under $5.00 (hey it's bay ridge) come grab yourself some food quick breakfast. It's better than most in the area.

This place has amazing workers. Unfortunately the new owner/manager is horrible. He never wears a mask while all his workers do. He also treats them with a disgusting and demeaning matter, talks down on them with no respect.

Stopped here for a quick late breakfast on a Sunday morning. I'm not really a huge bread person but I had just ran the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon so I was down for anything. I saw the bagels with white powder all over them and asked what flavor they were. They were the French Toast bagels. I, of course, only got one because they are huge. It was the best bagel I had ever had in my whole entire life. I know... sounds extreme right? I'm not kidding though. I got it toasted with butter and killed the whole thing! I'm glad I don't live close to there or I would definitely be eating too many bagels in my future.

They delivered very fast, my sandwich was perfectly made and was delicious. I ordered a toasted multigrain bagel with bacon egg and cheese. It was superb.

The bagels are good but the service is horrible! Three times we ordered in person and they did not get our order right. Check your orders before leaving! And why do they still have grade pending for 2020?

I've been here many times and it's still the best place in bay Ridge for bagels They renovated and have a huge selection of quick food items to go Bagels and now offer a wide range of baked goods My go to is the Dozen Bagels with a couple of sandwiches and some specialty cream cheeses for the bagels Check it out and leave the credit card home or you will checkout way over what you really need

A great neighborhood shop with excellent bagels. No frills -- just a good local shop. I am required to stop there whenever I travel to visit out of town relatives. If I don't show up with a dozen bagels they send me away!

Last week bought a few bagels and they were good. This week they taste like mold , throwing them in the trash. Will never go Back again. Disgusting!!! Cashier was extremely unfriendly to add to the insult I of wasting my money.

Place used to be fantastic. Bagels are still good, but they do not use real butter. I asked for butter, menu states butter, charged for butter but it is a substitute that leaves an oily pasty grit on your tongue. Go back to butter, you can't be saving that much.

Terrible terrible store. So expensive ( 5$ ) for an egg sandwich. I ordered a bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a plain bagel. The bagel was undercooked & stale. This store was my favorite spot to go. I am not going there any more. I guess it's new owners. And their service is too slow.

On the corner of 94th Street and Fifth Avenue, between Staples and the subway. I hadn't been in that area in a while, and it was the first time I noticed the shop. They missed on all counts. Self-serve coffee in the front was cold. The bagel tasted like ordinary bread. Butter on the bagel was barely detectable. Prices were high. There was no liner in the trash can, so I carried out my trash with me. I'll stop somewhere else next time!

I love to go and get a fresh bagel every now and then but sometimes when u see something like the lady there using one glove all day long than u asked if she changed it before giving what you need she goes mad its very simple just change the gloves you can't touch meat and bread with the same glove. I asked for a bagel than she went grab the bagel with the gloves she is using making hamburger for someone else am like please change the glove she goes ok than wait am the only one working all day .... its simple people

Came here for the second time both times horrible....why I tried it again.. I have no idea. Asked for a grilled Cesar chicken wrap got a salad with chicken on it way to much salad dressing and soggy lettuce. I even pointed to the picture. My fault for coming here again after the water down coffee i got the first time. I learned my lesson never again..

Whole wheat everything with regular cream cheese for $2 total. Bagel was fresh and tasty. Will come back the next time I take the R train from here.

I'm not sure what the history of this place is, but it sure is good now! You can see it has been renovated, even the name has changed to Bagels Supreme. A bagel store most present itself in a way that makes you feel you can pick any bagel from the batch and get a good one, this place does that. The bagels are separated but in a neat way, and you can tell which ones are fresh because they are in open air and visibe and not hidden in a glass case I ordered an egg bagel with cream cheese and an arizona iced tea, came out to $2.99 which is fine by me considering what other places charge. The bagel was chewey just the way i like it and the cream cheese was cool which makes it taste better. They have boars head deli meats and other items like gourmet muffins. Staff was friendly and multi-ethnic with an Italian guy, an Asian woman and a Spanish woman. I really like this store and i will take a trip back when i'm in the area.

When the owner is there, everything is great. Food is great tasting if only they can get my order right!! I've given them the courtesy after they messed up my order 3 times but now it's every single time I go in I've never left with my order right. And when I let them know they just say oh but this is what you ordered.. I'm sorry. Any other place will correct it instead of saying I'm sorry and not even admitting to their wrong. I wont accept it anymore. I pay expecting to eat what I ordered, not what THEY ordered. Fix this

Great fluffy BIG and fresh bagels. I am a big fan especially after having sub par bagels next to my apartment. I am willing and wanting to walk the extra blocks for this bagel place. The only reason I don't give it five stars is because they're cash only which is a minor inconvenience besides that awesome bagels and awesome customer service!

This is a newly renovated, family run bagel business at the fork of 4th and 5th avenue in Bay Ridge. The new layout is spacious enough to allow for a line formation with visible digital menus and about 3-4 tables. I think they could have benefit from furniture that is more inviting. Nevertheless, my experience is always a bagel breakfast to go comprised of delicious and decorated sesame bagel with vegetable cream cheese ($3.00.) This may sound weird, but because these bagels are so filling I usually have half left which tastes better the day after!? Maybe the cream cheese is too fresh and the flavor of the veggie bits have a chance to seep into the cream. Don't get me wrong, too fresh is never a complaint! Stop by for a bagel or what look to be delicious wraps, a carton of OJ and get your day rolling. There is diagonal metered spots across the street, but you will probably be in and out within 5 minutes so if you like to live life on the edge, save your quarter ;] One thing I'd hope they improve upon is their hot coffee which is usually a bodega style small cup with a gross amount of milk and sugar though YMMV.

I've often gone to Supreme Bagel on my way home. After today I'm very concerned and will never be back. I stopped in around 5:30pm on Feb 27th. The employee was vacuuming and **took out the trash** before taking my order. I told him what I wanted and he went behind the counter and immediately started making it without washing his hands or putting on gloves. I was appalled and told him he just took the trash out and needs to wash his hands. He rolled his eyes. Turned on the sink, got them wet and turned the sink off. He never used soap. I was horrified an employee was so cavalier about handling trash and then serving a customer food. He needs to be fired and all employees need to be reminded the importance and THE LAW to wash hands.

Nice and fresh bagels...make your coffee the way you like it... Staff are lovely and so friendly... Place is clean... Environment is amazing for a good breakfast.. I tried cinnamon raisin bagel with olive cream cheese...and it was really good..

Hands down best bagels around. How could anyone give this place less than 4 stars at the worst? The staff are super nice and wonderful members of the community. The bagels are the best I've ever had. They beat H&H bagels (before they closed). A nice crust on the outside and perfectly done on the inside. Great whole wheat options. Lots of choices of spreads. My worst complaint is they sell out of my fav bagel on occasion before I can drag my butt downstairs to grab one. Seriously, they are pretty great.

11 a.m. no one in store and no one acknowledged us yet after 10 minutes. Co worker asked if he can place an order. ..lady turns around and goes back to doing nothing. He is better than me. He chose to order a sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. He received ham and eggs on whole wheat toast. With a big old side of attitude. Now, someone who speaks thier language comes in and out of the blue the lights in the bagel counter come on and his order is taken and he is out the door. I will continue to spend my money where they value all customers with the same respect.

Small place. Offers an assortment of fresh bagels and cream cheeses in addition to muffins, some hot and cold sandwiches, chips, coffee, and soft drinks. They had a French Toast bagel (signature) and a crunchy caramel cream cheese which looked interesting. I ordered 5 different bagels with different toppings and my order was 100% accurate. Bagels were good, reasonably priced, and big. Some of the things in the display looked like they'd seen better days. Don't expect service with a smile though. The counter guy barely makes eye contact, grunts responses, and walks away while you're talking to him. It's whatever, that's the Brooklyn way. I'll probably be back to try that French Toast bagel, maybe on his day off...

Best place ever. We drive 30 minutes just so my 6 year old can get the strawberry cream cheese bagel. Staff are super nice and friendly too which makes it a great experience every time.

Waaaaay rude. The cashier didn't communicate clearly for an order and instead of offering what I'm PAYING to order - a toasted bagel with butter, she just looked at me dumbfounded and asked if I wanted to microwave my bagel. Lady. Get a clue.

Best bagels in Bay Ridge, possibly Brooklyn! So fortunate they are just a couple blocks from me and really close to the subway. A super convenient spot for on-the-go breakfast and coffee. I recommend the sausage, egg and cheese sandwich on plain or sesame, or, plain bagel toasted with butter. Only downside is they are cash only but it's worth planning a trip to the ATM for Bagel Supreme!

Super cool spot I just discovered! Food is always fresh..I'm very surprised. I always see the young man taking great care of the store. And the customers. He always has a pleasant disposition and makes the best sandwiches! I def recommend this hidden gem

Really too bad that such great bagels have to be enriching a far flung enclave of bay ridge- where as I would travel a mile out if my way gladly to consume these immaculate huge holed beautiful gastronomic monsters! The place looks like every other bagel place, flashing lights, boars head signs. But inside the manager is particular to detail when taking orders. Bagels are so wonderful and crisp and the huge old boiler takes up the back. If only every bagel shop were at least an imitation.

The bagels are tasty, portions are huge, and they offer better prices than other bagel shops. The omlettes are good too - and come with toast and homefries - all for only $6.50! The prices can't be beat! Plus they offer sandwiches and other items. Haven't tried their specialty bagels yet, but looking forward to it.

While the place might have two or more names (the sign says "Bagel Supreme" but this Yelp listing doesn't), I can honestly say these are some of the best bagels I have ever had, and I've lived in Brooklyn my entire life. Each bagel is handmade, and it shows. No two bagels are the same shape. The flavor that is embedded in these bagels is perfect. Each bite is doughy by not too doughy, slightly sweet, fluffy, and well-balanced for whatever spread you happen to choose. I have had their egg, everything, whole wheat everything and poppy seed bagels, and I have not been disappointed on any of them. I almost always get their tuna salad, which also happens to be delicious and not over-dressed. You actually taste that it is tuna, as opposed to mayo with a little but of fish thrown in for good measure. Few things will get me to take the trip all the way to the end of the R line in Brooklyn just for the hell of it. These bagels are one of those things. HIGHLY recommended, 100%.

I'm a regular by nature as I live only 3 doors down from Bagel Supreme. Their Bagels rock! Hands down, the best I've ever had! The grill food is great too! I just had what I'm calling The Best Breakfast Wrap Ever. I think it's the best breakfast wrap ever. Going back for another in a few minutes. Btw, they're open 24 hours on the weekends! The entire crew there is awesome! I have no complaints.

Terrible combination of a stale bagel with a tasteless spread. It was really disappointing. The "cash only" sign is also taped right over the register so you can't see what they're ringing up. Bad bagels, bad business practices.

my boss gave me a 10 to get him a coffee. i paid first for that and then proceeded to order my own food as a separate order. i realize that i have 3 dollars change for one coffee. i ask how much a medium coffee was and he says it was 2, i explain i gave him a 10. he doesnt seem to believe me but gives me my correct change. i am now waiting for my BLT that i ordered, i hear the men laughing by the grill but i dont think anything, when i get back to my office i open my sandwich and there is a several big slabs of uncooked or half cooked bacon. mind you i was the only person in the store being that the morning rush was over so its not like they were pressed for time and couldnt cook it properly. i dont know if it was because of the change incident or they just done care, but that shit is gross and pisses me off as the first meal i was trying to have today.

Ordered a bagel sandwich and it was delicious. Yiu can tell the bagels are fresh and made on premise. Nothing spectacular about the place but if you want a good bagel this place wont fail.
