Cocktails, beer, wine, and good company in one of Detroit's most vibrant communities.
"Loved the Chicano rocker vibes and creative, affordable drinks." - Serena Maria Daniels
"Neighborhood watering hole Bagley Central is pretty affordable to begin with but treats its regulars to a reliable happy hour with a long ordering window where customers can get $4 domestic beers, $9 boilermakers, and $4 well drinks. Hours: 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday" - Brenna Houck
"Bagley Central is offering its menu for curbside pickup and takeout in the Hubbard-Richard neighborhood. Call ahead or drop in to place an order for batch bottled drinks, kits, and build-your-own beer six packs." - Brenna Houck
"Polished neighborhood bar Bagley Central joined Peso in Hubbard Richard in April. The bar leans casual with affordable cocktails, beers, and seasonal sangria. Choose from options like the Tope Atomico with mezcal, habanero, cucumber, citrus, and orange liqueur or the classic Pimm’s Cup. Although it doesn’t have a kitchen, Bagley Central does serve jerky snacks and occasionally hosts pop-ups." - Brenna Houck
"The neighborhood cocktail spot from longtime local bartender Mike Ketelhut debuted this month at 2545 Bagley St. with affordable drinks and bar snacks. The property, which shares a wall with fellow neighborhood newcomer Peso, underwent a huge change over the past several months. Bagley Central’s team took the space in the opposite direction with some lovely results. The bar embraces dark colors, jewel tones, and stylish velvet furnishings. Some fans of the shuttered Huron Room may notice that its booths and bar stools have been refurbished and moved into the new bar. The restaurant color of the moment — emerald green — sets the facade apart from its neighbor and makes its way into the interior as an accent on wall, furnishings, as the base for the cinched-waisted bar. Although the look is certainly inky, but it’s broken up by touches of shimmery silver paint and gold-tinted windows. Overall it’s quite a polished appearance, but still fun thanks in part to the addition of artwork and several projector screens." - Brenna Houck
