"For all sorts of beautiful French cafe fare all using house-made bread, it’s worth the drive out to Bee Cave to hit up this daytime bakery. There are all sorts of French eggy dishes, like quiches and croque-madames. Then there are the baguette sandwiches, with options like the classic ham-Swiss cheese-butter or the brie one. Takeout orders can be placed online or in person; there are indoor and outdoor dine-in areas." - Nadia Chaudhury

"The sandwiches at Bee Cave patisserie Baguette et Chocolat’s are simple and made with really high-quality ingredients, and they’re perhaps some of the best ones I’ve had in a while. The Parisian Brie includes layers of sliced meat, fresh tomatoes/cucumbers/lettuce, and thick brie wedges, placed within a wonderful fluffy yet sturdy baguette (add cornichons for an extra crunch). I regret not ordering dessert (the mille-feuille and Paris-Brest both sound so good) and I’m also eying a quiche for my next visit. —NC" - Nadia Chaudhury, Erin Russell

This French bakery is a gem! Their croissants and pastries are perfectly flaky and fresh, and the French onion soup is rich and flavorful—a true classic done right. I also ordered a coffee, and it was fantastic, pairing perfectly with the baked goods. The place is quite popular, so there’s usually a small but steady queue, which speaks to its quality. The staff is incredibly friendly, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. Overall, it’s a must-visit spot for anyone who loves authentic French flavors and a cozy vibe. Highly recommended!

We visited on a Sunday morning, and it was a bit busy. We ordered the Surprise Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, and Croque Madame Salad. The croissants were delicious—flaky and flavorful. However, the Croque Madame Salad was disappointing. We specifically requested it without meat but with an egg on top, yet the egg was missing on the top. When we brought it to their attention, they provided the egg separately, which felt like an oversight that could have been avoided. The environment was pleasant, and the staff was friendly, but attention to detail matters. They have outdoor seating.

Google
Best bakery in Austin! Stopped buying bread, unless I can get it here. Every loaf here tastes like it’s made with love. If you haven’t visited yet, you’re seriously missing out. A must-visit for any bread lover.

Google
A nice bakery with a large selection of pastries and breakfast items. They have an extensive variety of macarons, so you’re sure to find one you like. For breakfast, we ordered a Croque Madame. It was good but a bit dry for my taste. All dishes were served in take-out boxes. The Paris Austin and macaron were delicious and moderately sweet. The Napoleon was crispy, though the sweet glaze on top was a bit much for my taste.

Finally — a real croissant in the Austin area. Baguette et Chocolat is my go-to for French-style pastries. The croissants are perfectly flaky and buttery, just like they should be. Every pastry I’ve tried here tastes fresh and authentic. The customer service is also top-notch. The staff is friendly, helpful, and clearly cares about the quality of what they serve. You feel taken care of the moment you walk in. If you’ve been hunting for legit French pastries, this is the spot.

Google
This place has the most authentic French bakes you will find around Austin. The have a vast variety of baked goods and sandwiches. It’s always consistent and they rarely mess up your order. The owner is super friendly, the ambiance is as any French bakery in France, small and cozy. There are outside tables as well. There are high chairs which makes it nice and kid friendly. The only thing I find this place is missing is a bigger space for more tables. Because it is small, when crowds are in to shop there isn’t a lot of room for everyone and sometimes you will need to wait outside. If cold wait in your car. :) Other than that, I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great French bakery experience.

Google
Best bread in Austin. Authentic and affordable, amazing since it’s very good. The sandwiches, quiche, desserts, and pastries are wonderful. Staff is nice. Take your orders to-go because the inside and outside have seating, but it’s rather small.

Sweets for the sweet at heart! Indulge your friends & family w some of the finest pastry, baguette and macaroons in Austin. Nothing compares to the dreamy selection of melt in your mouth delights that are as creative as they are tasty!

Yelp
Qui, qui, et qui! Yes! Although a bit of a drive outside of Austin, absolutely worth it. Femme, the owner from France, knows what she's doing. Our intention was to get a simple traditional Parisian baguette sandwich, and we walked out with that in addition to cafe and lattes, as well as baked goodies like peach tart (amazing). It's worth asking the staff about their favorite choices, the one choice we made on our own (pan au chocolate - chocolate croissant) was actually our least favorite because the others were just SO good.

Yelp
One of the best bakery's I've been to - I discovered this place while in Austin on a work trip. I was desperate for a tasty coffee halfway through and decided to try Baguett et Chocolat. I can't recommend it enough! The coffee is perfectly smooth and the iced oat milk latte was so good I went back 3 mornings in a row. The pastries alone are worth the trip - they are fresh made and taste like you're in France with high ingredient quality. The selection is great and everything I tried was so yummy - highly recommend the Kouign Amann and the Pain au Chocolat. This place is worth a stop (or two or ten)!!

Yelp
We love Baguette et Chocolat. First of all, the owners are so friendly. Come in and you'll be greeted by Fem the owner, with the biggest smile. To me, it's very important. I'm French and I can say that everything is authentic. Everything is fresh, made 100% by hand, not frozen like you can find in a lot of bakeries in France. I never had something I didn't like. My favorite is the chausson aux pommes. I love that there is no cinnamon and they say it on the tag. Their croissants are so flaky, just like they're supposed to be. Their bread, any type of bread is delicious: the perfect crunchy crust. I've had sandwiches and salads from there: so delicious. Please stop by and have some pastries or breakfast or lunch: you won't be disappointed. If you're in a hurry, just order ahead bc everything is made fresh so it takes a little longer than ordering a sandwich from fast food place. Bon appétit

Yelp
Do you ever eat at a place a lot and enjoy it so much that it seems like a sin that you haven't reviewed it yet? For me, that's Baguette et Chocolat. We've had the coffee, the tea, the macarons, the croque madame, the bread, and the paninis. Everything food here is a 5/5 and priced appropriately. The macarons are the best I've ever had anywhere. When we tried them for the first time, we couldn't help but think "oh, this is how they're supposed to taste!"--each one really hits you in the face with its specific flavor and they're a great gift too. But my personal favorite is the Parisian Panini, a pressed baguette with melted brie, ham, and tomato. It's so filling and so simple and delicious.

Yelp
I recently realized, with shame, that I still haven't written a review for one of my favorite businesses in the area: Baguette et Chocolat. This hidden gem of a bakery is deeply loved by the locals (as evidenced by the constant flow of cars, shelves full of order pick-ups, and often emptied out display cases) & you gotta try them out! If you're not sure what to get, the banh mi SLAPS. My husband and I order it for a quick treat yoself lunch twice a month and I look forward to it every time. The bread is perfectly crusty yet chewy, and packed with fresh ingredients and flavors all tied together with delicious pate. For something sweet, we've never gone wrong with their cakes and pastries. The cinnamon roll is somewhat of a croissant hybrid and the texture is *chef's kiss* It's definitely not the kind of bakery/cafe for remote work, given the small space and limited seating. The website is slightly clunky but def recommend ordering online to save yourself a wait in case the place is packed... and to secure your favorite item before it sells out. Bon appetit!

Yelp
I found this little patisserie while visiting family, and I fell in love and hope to come back! I bought every flavor of macaroons for my family and I was told they were all delicious. I arrived with the goods and as soon as I set them down, they were gone. My family loved them!! And the little ones kept asking for more lol. I'm glad I had bought myself some to enjoy before I delivered the goods to my family. It's very small inside but that didn't take away from the experience. And the employee was very nice! They even had a little water station! Although their kitchen was closed when I was there, so hopefully next time I get to try their food. 10/10 highly recommended!

Yelp
I LOVED this bakery! After binge watching the Great British Baking Show with my daughter, all I wanted for Mother's Day were some amazing, authentic pastries! I got the almond croissant, which I LOVED! Selfishly, I did wish there was more almond pastry cream inside, but the flavor was great! I also tried some macrons (fantastic), the French vanilla flan (great vanilla flavor) and a raspberry layered cake (needed more raspberry flavor). The ladies who, I think, own the bakery were efficient, helpful, and had great patience! They were slammed, but so attentive to each person. I loved the cute cafe feel it had. I will definitely be back!! Ps: I normally take pictures, but everything was beautiful!

Yelp
A little shop near the hill country galleria mall area. Came later in the afternoon for coffee and a little snack. Service was great. She was helpful and nice. Got an iced latte which was decent. Go a loaf of bread and 2 mini beignets. The beignets texture was like a donut and nothing like a true beignets The little shop has a few tables and a water station. They stop making cookies food around 2PM I believe so anything after that is their baked good or dessert.

Vis V.

Yelp
Been here a bunch of times, and the food is excellent. I've tried their quiches, their sandwiches, and many of their desserts, and they've all been exceptional. The service is great and everything is delicious. Seating can get tricky since there's not much seating indoors but they do have some outdoor seating.

Tatiana R.

Yelp
Excellent bread and pastry. It is the best bakery in the northwestern Austin area. If you want real bread this is the place!

Deb D.

Yelp
The Bee Cave residents are so very lucky to have this little gem in the hood. The most amazing French food served by the owner. The food is fantastic. Everything is fresh. We had the Croque de Monsieur, which basically is a glorious French version of a grilled cheese but no comparison really as this is just so scrumptious. We also ordered The Parisienne Salad. The coffee is amazing. If you love French pastries then you're going to flip out!

Jenifer S.

Yelp
Exceptional French pastries, macaroons, desserts and baguette! I'm 45 minutes away but will gladly make the drive! Even the French Croutons are delectable and my son munches on them as a snack. They rarely make it home. I visited today about an hour before they close and bought a loaf of brioche, French baguette, Olive Ciabatta loaf, almond croissants (heavenly!), two vanilla custard desserts, three layers chocolate mouse bar, two dark chocolate mousse, and an Austin Eclair (filled with praline). The owner was so kind she even gave me an extra baguette which we ate a good chunk of in the car. Authentic quality. Don't miss out on this little gem behind the Trek store.

Shashikala P.

Yelp
We wanted to try Baguette et chocolat, for so long, but it's way way too far from where we live, so hadn't and finally made it. Lady at the counter was welcoming, got a chocolate almond croissant, which was delicious and ordered build your panini, it starts at $6, and I was like, Woww that's less expensive, but from basic cheese, not extra or more cheese, just the regular, they charge you with veggies and even butter, so it'll be easily $12+, so for $6, they just give you panini bread??? I dunno, but it's good, it's nice crispy outside, thin panini, piping hot and of a lunch size. The most disappointing was the coffee, they say they serve lavazza coffee, got the drip and it's morning, so you expect fresh, but it was absolutely disgusting, it was not fresh, it was burnt and weird after taste which you can't get past, so had to stop by at another coffee shop, which personally I hate, you go to a bakery in the morning, you should able to enjoy the food/baked goodies with good cup of coffee, not fancy, just decent.

Alexandra D.

Yelp
The best!!! My only complaint is a wish they didn't run out of the almond chocolate croissants early each day

Charlotte I.

Yelp
They always have the best pastries and food, but the wait is always long ( but worth it). I haven't gone to it for a long time and I'm sure it has improved. I do recommend trying the macaroons and baguettes. They always have free water so if you're thirsty go in!

Geoff P.

Yelp
They have good croissants and their sourdough baguette is the best in the area when they have it. My 3 stars is the result of the fact that 8 times out of 10 when I go there even at 10:30AM they are sold out of sourdough (original) baguette. I wish they would make more because I've now reached the point where I just assume they won't have any and that's disappointing.

BL B.

Yelp
Some of the best French pastries on this side of the Atlantic! Love the Kouign Aman and the almond croissants.

Amy B.

Yelp
I had not been to this cute, out of the way bakery / cafe since before the pandemic. My friend and I met there to celebrate her birthday and were delighted! This little place is not easy to see - it's near the back of the parking lot, just off Bee Caves. There was plenty of parking, and there were plenty of tables on a Wednesday at lunchtime. We ordered at the counter, quiches and salads ($10), and were given a "buzzer" to alert us as to when the order was ready. We sat outside at a little table for 2 and when the buzzer went off, I went in and retrieved our lunches, packed in little brown boxes, and some plastic forks. The quiches were delightful! They also offer salads, sandwiches and some of the most beautiful pastries in town! I recommend this place for lovely "al fresco" weather, because the inside area was a little cramped - I would not have enjoyed eating in there.

Sabine B.

Yelp
Excellent croissants and crepes. Cafe au lait is tasty. Wish there was more inside seating. Service was friendly. Would definitely recommend if you like European croissants and desserts.

Robert M.

Yelp
Came for an early lunch/late breakfast on Sunday. This place is POPULAR, so as their signs say - Be Patient and good luck trying to find parking. It wasn't long before I ordered and then waited a few minutes to get my food, but I could tell that if I didn't arrive at such a wonky hour, this place would be crushed. The food was fantastic and the people were great, so I understand the appeal. I had the Parisienne sandwich. It was a great ham & cheese with dijon on a perfect baguette. Crunch, chew, tasty all at the same time. The thing was ginormous! Really enough for two people or two meals. I also got a pear tart because a) didn't know what else to get and b) never had one before. I'm such a rube! Anyway, that thing was insanely good. Perfect pear taste with a brilliant pastry base. I'm coming back! On some miserable weather day between real meal times or whenever else I could predict few people would be around... Pro-Tip: they were doing a lively business for on-line orders. This is the route to go.

Yelp
This little French bakery is tucked in the back of a shopping center and you'd easily miss it from the Main Street. We decided to chance it due to an intense craving for kouign aman. There are a handful of bistro tables inside and out, so be prepared for a takeaway experience. They have a fun bistro menu you can order from, but the pastry display is what wows when you walk in. It is so tempting to want one of everything. This visit we opted for the previously craved kouign aman. They were perfectly flaky and delicious, although a few had burnt tops due to the caramelized sugar. My breakfast mates felt it was a little sweeter than our favorites, but they hit the intensive craving for sure. We also ordered an apple tart which was more sour than I anticipated. I wish there was a little more of the creaminess I lend to expect underneath the fruit slices. And my daughter wanted some chocolate macarons, which came in a super cute box. She ate them all before we made it home. The service at the counter is efficient and friendly. Their takeout shelves were filling up for breakfast already, so I am sure they're busy on weekends! Bottom line? Amazing local French bakery that we will definitely be back to. Just don't come when you're actively jonesing for a pastry... you might walk away with more than you anticipated!

Heather C.

Yelp
Delicious with a side of excellent service :) Some of the best croissants and wonderful omelettes in Austin! A must for croissant and chocolate lovers alike

Viri B.

Yelp
Love everything about this place including the staff. Yea, it's that good they are busy and they sell out at times. So I suggest you go early rather than later in the day. I love their homemade croutons for my Caesar salad.

Debra B.

Yelp
Fabulous authentic French cuisine with a Paris bistro feel. The food is all homemade and dry high quality.

Shahrzad Y.

Yelp
Cant go wrong here with whatever you order. I prefer the baked (dry) pastries and bread here but truly everything tastes wonderful. There isn't much seating available so be prepared to eat in your car or take stuff home! A must go place in Austin!

Eugenia L.

Yelp
Kept it simple and ordered a butter croissant and almond chocolate croissant. Sat outside since the inside was converted to a counter service set up and no longer a dine-in style cafe. I liked the rich butteriness of the plain croissant and it had distinct layers. However the texture of the dough was closer to thinly rolled bread instead of the expected crisp light layers of pastry. This also unfortunately applied to the almond chocolate croissant as well. The pastry was very dense and compacted like a bad scone. Eating more than a few bites leaves you feeling heavy. While everything looked attractive in the case, my experience left me wanting better.

Angelique G.

Yelp
I'm half and half on the experience. Mainly because the price doesn't match the quality. We bought macarons, a chocolate croissant, a quiche, Nutella type beignets and 2 drinks. A total of almost $60. I could have had an expensive breakfast at a high scale restaurant. Pulled in with no customers and had quite a wait. Nonetheless, I'm not sure if I would make the stop here again when we return to the area.

S V.

Yelp
Have loved this place for years but today I was incredibly disappointed by multiple things - the omelette was very hard and chewy (and totally brown), the mozzarella in one of our sandwiches was not their usual fresh one (definitely stale) and the beignets were actually chewy and doughy. Not sure if the original owner/chef is no longer there or was simply out but we miss their original cooking and touch. The place is a mess with things strewn about and they had one woman at the front counter; I felt bad for her because they were clearly overwhelmed.

Greg L.

Yelp
Been here multiple times when i come in from Houston. Never disappoints. Everyone in the family crew is happy. If you like french pastries this is the place.

Stephen L.

Yelp
Baguette de Chocolate in Bee Cave is a delightful bakery that caters to chocolate lovers and pastry enthusiasts alike. The moment you step inside, the heavenly aroma of freshly baked goods envelops you. Their specialty, the baguette de chocolate, is a true masterpiece. Each bite unveils a perfect balance of crisp, flaky exterior and rich, gooey chocolate filling that melts in your mouth. The bakery also offers a wide array of other delectable treats, from delicate croissants to decadent cakes and pastries. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients are evident in every creation. The friendly staff completes the experience with their warm and welcoming service. Baguette de Chocolate is a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a heavenly chocolate indulgence in Bee Cave.

Eyesewpale K.

Yelp
One of the worst places for fake French pastries. These are bought in . Seen them throwing away the boxes to the dumpster. Macrons , croissants, chocolate croissants, Apple turnover, cinnamon rolls, . Miniature donut. The mousse cups.

Eyesewpale K.

Yelp
Frozen, bought in croissants, chocolate croissant, apple puff pastry, macrons, cinnamon rolls ,all shipped in. We watched as the empty boxes were put outside. Some of the product is from New York.

T. D.

Yelp
First of all, round of applause for the staff here. They dealt with the rudest, most entitled, pretentious Westlake customers you could imagine. I heard maybe ONE customer say "thank you" out of the constant stream of people coming in for Saturday brunch and bread pickups. Kudos to the staff for keeping a smile the entire time! The place itself is tiny. There's maybe two tables outside and four little tables cramped together inside. Most indoor tables had outlets, and there is free wifi, but good luck grabbing a spot. The selection was also significantly smaller than what the photos make it out to have. Not necessarily a bad thing, considering their food is very filling. I got an omelette with goat cheese, basil, and sundried tomatoes on a croissant and a Napoleon to go. The omelette took maybe 10-20 minutes. Understandable when there's a lot of customers and not a lot of space in the building. It's tiny! The Napoleon looked much prettier than it tasted. The layers of cream didn't taste of much, and the icing on top was too sweet (too much powdered-sugar flavor?) The omelette was the star. It was hot, buttery, flavorful, and was way too big to fit in the croissant. I thought it would be a measly portion, but I was very wrong. I was stuffed. They really know their laminated dough--next time I'll just get croissants.

Yelp
What a great small local French Bakery! Drove all the way from Driftwood and this mom pop shop didn't disappoint! Came back from a trip to France wanting some pastries and baguettes....look no further! Located in a plaza and they have a couple of tables to sit outside. Authentic! You have your French sammiches, Chocolate croissants, cafe, delish pastries, macarons..... If I lived closer I'd be a daily customer!

Lisa L.

Yelp
Husband loves the baguettes Nice sandwiches Yummy Pain Au Chocolate Quick to pick up

Melissa W.

Yelp
The most delicious pastry I've had in decades! Authentic, creative, beautiful and delicious! The staff were really sweet and considerate. The energy in the shop is relaxed and very inviting. New favorite shop!!

Megan F.

Yelp
Phenomenal French bakery! The chocolate almond croissants were amazing! The macarons were amazing. We also got sandwiches. Mine was build your own sandwich, goat cheese, sundried tomatoes, pesto and French bread. Loved the selections and the pastries!

Holly H.

Yelp
We used to get all sorts of goodies, tarts, holiday cakes, sourdough etc.... They have changed ownership over the past 2 years and have limited the menu options, taken away the eat in option and the quality has definitely gone down. Every time anyone asks about what we used to be able to order the static response is "we don't have the capacity" Even when you "eat in" it's in a box. The wonderful quiche, and French menus options have been ruined.

Heather J.

Yelp
The food here was absolutely delicious! It was our last day on our trip and we looked for a quick brunch before hitting the road and happily found ourselves at our second French restaurant in as many days. I ordered the best spinach quiche of my life, as well as a salad that I had for dinner that night. The quiche was, as I mentioned, spectacular and very authentic, and, of note, not too oily which is always a plus. The salad was pretty uneventful but I was not given the vinegarette (and unfortunately did not realize until I was two hours away) so that may have been a contributing factor. Definitely recommend.

Liya S.

Yelp
Incredible place with a French owner. Everything Is fresh, delish and beautiful. Bread sells out early

MARIA S.

Yelp
Horrible Chocolate Eclairs, very small, but no flavor. So disappointed. They were supposed to be a Mothers Day remembrance of my Mother.

Cara K.

Yelp
My husband bought 2 boxes of macaroons from here today, and sadly 3 of the macaroons in the first box were completely stale. They must have been a couple days old. It was very strange because the other macaroons in the box (rose lychee and chocolate) were quite good, but the violet and the earl grey ones were as hard as a rock and wholly inedible. Also, the lavender flavor wasn't stale, but had too much lavender extract in it, to the point of tasting like soap. I'm a bit scared to try out the second box given how inconsistent the first one was.

Ellen B.

Yelp
Awful. SO disappointing bc I was really looking forward to a fun breakfast stop after a workout. The " 8 oz" cappuccino to go was in an 8 oz cup, but only had about 4 oz of liquid in it! When I went in and asked about it they told me that's the size a cappuccino is supposed to be. Really? For $6?? The napoleon was tough and almost frozen. . So sad. Won't be back.

Isabel V.

Yelp
Great fresh food. I love their quiches. Can get a little busy but online ordering is available. Good outdoor seating options, not many indoors. My favorite place in the area

Maritza M.

Yelp
So, this place is a delight and I'm sad that it's so far from me in north Austin. Amazing COVID protocols that actually are designed to protect the STAFF as well as the customers. So only one customer/group is allowed inside at one time. But plenty of seating around the building while you wait. We got there too late to get their pastries, but were able to try a build your own cheesy panini and the parisienne sandwich. The prices are super low for what you get in terms of size AND high quality ingredients. I couldn't finish my sandwich but enjoyed it for dinner later that day. They also have something I've never seen before, a baguette that is basically a tear-and-share. So you have like 8 tiny baguettes in one thing. And the bread is sooooooooo good. I would always come here for bread if it wasn't so far away. Thrilled that this business made it COVID!

Tuan L.

Yelp
I love pastries so natural French gravitate towards me. My favorite being croissants.

Johanna J.

Yelp
Adorable, authentic and cozy little bakery. The pastries and sandwiches are delicious. One can easily make stopping by a weekend ritual. It does get busy and items tend to sell out quickly so best to go early. Limited seating which can be a con for some but this place is worth the trip - I do recommend!

Jordan N.

Yelp
In the entire Austin area, this is the best French bakery (patisserie) - but maybe also because it's the only one I'm aware of that offers a full assortment of French pastries. Bonus points for also having crepes and the galettes bretagnes (buckwheat crepes) - it's definitely a mark of authenticity in my book. Alongside with chouquettes, mousse, eclairs, tarts, croque monsieur, etc. Maybe it's only missing canneles. The quality is great, the indoor seating is nice, and the atmosphere is fast casual, but also mom-chic, if that makes sense (or just not rustic La Madeleine-style French, which I honestly prefer, atmosphere-wise). I'm sorry that this place is far out in Bee Cave, as Austin proper is missing something like this. A true French patisserie and cafe.

Emily B.

Yelp
First time stopping in I got the vanilla flan, the vanilla beignet and a chocolate eclair. I will definitely go back to get the vanilla flan again. It was delicious.

Alison M.

Yelp
My friend raved about this place so while we were in the area during my Austin trip we stopped in. She was right that the croissant was one of the freshest and best tasting ones I have had since actually being in France a few years ago. It was light and fluffy and didn't even need anything on it. I did ask for butter which was served to me hard as a brick and ice cold.... good thing it didn't need any. I ordered an Earl Grey tea and they were out of creamer at the do it yourself counter so I asked for some - then asked for anything other than half and half and was told they charge extra for that but they'd give me a soy side "this time". So I waited for that. I ordered the quiche and my friend ordered the croque monsieur which is like a warmed ham sandwich with cheese and egg on top (think French toast bread). Both were out in about 10-15 minutes and both were fresh, warm and delicious. The quiche was actually a huge portion and I couldn't finish it all but it was very good. The menu isn't especially healthy friendly.... no greens, salads, avocado toast, or anything like that. The dishes are served with a very small and lightly dressed salad of sorts but it's heavy cream, butter, eggs, cheese and such on the food with signs all around that they do not change or accommodate special requests or customize anything. Service isn't especially friendly and they don't accommodate anything outside the listed menu but they have some delicious options if you are in the mood for French breakfast and the bakery had a lot of yummy fresh-made sweets in the display.
