"Since 1973, this stall has been serving its secret mutton soup recipe. The broth is rich, dense, and full of herbal flavours. Apart from the popular leg, also try other lamb cuts. Order bread to mop up the broth." - Michelin Inspector

9 Best Hawker Centers in Singapore—and What to Eat There - AFAR

"A longtime stall specializing in rich, robust mutton soup produced from hours of boiling mutton bones; the result is a deeply flavored broth with tender chunks of mutton topped with crispy scallion and onions, a rarity among hawker options." - Charlene Fang

23/8/2025 Arrived at 3.25pm. Joined the Q and managed to buy the mutton meat soup at 4.53pm. The owner informed that he cannot sell big bowl due to limited quantity. The ribs sold out. Service is super slow despite 3 manpower. You need lots of patience to Q and finally eat at this stall. It’s worth to note that mutton meat was very tender and delicious. The mutton soup also tasted great. The stall will close when food finishes. You can try at least once.

I was told by a Singaporean this was the best mutton soup in Singapore and they were not kidding. The chunks of mutton in the soup are very generous and so tender and tasty. The soup broth is very flavorful and thick. The gentleman that runs the place (I assume owner) was so kind and gracious, even delivered my soup to my table and thanked me for my patronage. I'll most certainly be a regular at his stall.

Needs patience to queue for 60 minutes or more at 1130 am crowd on a Weekday. Featured on CNA Red Dot: I am a Hawker ( Michelin Bib ). Mutton Soup is authentic, not oily or salty, flavorful with many spices blended. Many patrons takeway - one brought his own pot for 10 + portions for his family or friends - lunch party. Worth the 60 minutes wait - slow down our hectic pace, enjoy the fellowship in the queue where strangers shared tips on which is the correct queue for another Mee Rebus/ Mee Soto Michelin stall - Pak Sapari side by side where we cannot see the front.

If the soup was left in the fridge, even for 20 minutes, it would turn into mutton jelly, it’s so rich with collagen. But I recommend it be eaten immediately with rib and tripe. Perfection

Nooooooo, don’t buy into the YouTube hype. Super long, hardly-moving 2+ hr queue. Bang average. Tastes bland, underwhelming and watered down. The famous mutton soup in Boon Keng Hawker is far better in every way. The mutton biryani not bad la, Mr Biryani in Chander Road much better. My two cents’ worth.

4/5 star: $15 Lamb shank briyani The moment the steaming plate of biryani is set down, it is clear that this isn’t just a meal; it’s an experience. Aromatic basmati rice, infused with a symphony of spices, forms the bed for the star of the show—a succulent lamb shank that practically melts off the bone. The lamb is marinated with a blend of traditional spices and slow-cooked to perfection, ensuring each bite is both tender and flavourful. The layers of rice and lamb are punctuated with bursts of saffron and caramelized onions, adding a depth of flavour that is both complex and incredibly satisfying. The careful balance of spices, from the earthiness of the cumin to the heat of the chilies, ensures that no single note overwhelms the palate. Instead, they work in harmony to create a dish that is as nuanced as it is indulgent.

I’m not a kambing soup expert but this was quite delicious! I find myself drinking spoonful after spoonful. Like many said the bread is not great but I feel it’s just expensive ($1) for what it is. Overall $8 for the bowl of soup with bread - I feel it’s fair. Will be back again if I’m around the area!

Yelp
This the best Pakistani mutton in Singapore. IMO, the best mutton soup PERIOD. You have choice of mutton ribs and assorted spare parts. There's even brain. The soup itself is heavenly. I'm craving it now.
