Yelp
this buford highway location can never get my order correct. they charge for extra items so i pay for the extra items but don't get an extra portion. worse, all i want "extra" are pickles.
several times i have ordered sandwiches online to pick up. online i added extra pickles, paid for the extra pickles, made comment in the comment section that i would like extra pickles - even had to wait for my sandwich that was ordered to be picked up in 15 minutes. i swore i'd never give them another dime... or my extra dimes.
coworkers frequent the buford highway location of baldinos and during the last year they've ordered from them, i've declined to place an order due to the crappy service and lack of attention to my orders.
today, against my better judgment, i ordered an italian salad online to be picked up "asap". my salad was not in the designated pickup spot so i waited. to my surprise, the older gentleman acknowledged me waiting, stopped helping customers in line to order, walked over asked if my order was for one of two female names, i said, no. he walked away and continued to take orders from customers in line. i waited patiently for almost 20 minutes as customers came and went, ordering in line ahead of me.
i finally walked up to the counter to the same older gentleman. he asked, did you place an order? i replied, yes. he asked how i placed the order. i said, online. he said, our online orders are not working. what did you order? let me see your email receipt. i showed him my online order receipt and he placed my order then - almost 25 minutes after i arrived.
i saw him write up the order as i ordered my salad online - italian salad, no onions, no peppers. (i didn't even try to ask for pickles.)
my order was placed in line with all of the other orders ahead of me. fine. my salad was made and ready, i picked it up and asked, is there italian dressing in the bag? the guy walked over to the bowl of dressings to go and, apparently, there were no italian dressings in the bowl. he asked the same older gentleman, do we have more italian dressings? the man replied, we are out of italian dressing. without missing a beat, the younger guy adds two small to-go cups of red wine dressing.
how. does. a. sandwich. shop. not. have. italian. dressing? is no one ordering their italian sandwich??? and, why did the older man who took my italian salad order not tell me they were out of italian dressing?
there were no apologies made. no comments asking about another dressing i'd prefer instead. no to go utensils were given in my to go italian salad - that came WITH onions and peppers.
this is the last time i will ever be a customer of baldinos. ever. never again.
