"The inside of Ballard Annex Oyster House has a nautical situation happening that vibes pretty naturally with eating oysters and having cocktails, which is the only reason why you would come here. That, and the fish and chips, which at least have salt. The rest of the food is a big ol’ nope, and keep in mind that you might break a tooth and crack your filling on all of the shards of crab shell you discovered in your overcooked mac and cheese." - Aimee Rizzo

This place has been on my list to visit for some time now and it didn't disappoint. We went for oysters and we GOT oysters! Really delicious! Started with the oysters sampler, then ended up getting another dozen of our favorite -- which just happened to be half off since it was Happy Hour. Also tried the poutine which was really good with a cheesey-clam chowder gravy. Sounds like it might not work but it totally did. I'd order it again for sure. I suggest going for happy hour to try a number of dishes at a significant discount. Service was friendly and relatively fast considering we went during the Ballard Seafood Fest. Kind of feels like a restaurant that would be near the Pike Place Market, but glad it's in our neighborhood -- way more convenient.

Went here for a quick drink and oysters. Very good oysters at a great price! Got the shishito peppers as well. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back when I'm in Seattle again next time of dinner

This is a very nice and casual place to eat. The service is very helpful and nice with a happy disposition. I would say this is a great place to take out of town guest. I think the food was good but may be better. I am expecting the food to be better the next time we go.

Great ambiance and service. Extensive variety of oysters and seafood. Happy hour food is well priced, oysters are $1 until 4:30 pm, but the rest goes until 6:00 even on Saturdays!

We came here for lunch on Saturday and their fried calamari was too oily. Its not my first time eating fried calamari, loved their lobster though however it was a bit expensive for the lunch price

Stopped in early afternoon for a cocktail (Paper Plane) and an oyster dozen and it was such a treat! The oysters were incredibly fresh and wonderful, came with just the right amount of toppings and the atmosphere was pure sea side magic. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed the oysters and the mushroom pasta (highly recommend!!!), but the restaurant is fairly pricey. How waiter was especially friendly and attentive without being overbearing. I would come back, but more likely for happy hour than for dinner.

They use the oyster from Taylor shellfish, but cook them in better way. Fish and chips is outstanding as well.
