Portland restaurants with locations in other cities | Eater Portland

"Over the past few years, Portland’s favorite sustainable sushi den, Bamboo Sushi, sprouted Lake Oswego and Denver offshoots. The burgeoning chain with a minimalist East-meets-Northwest aesthetic also recently announced the arrival of a new Seattle location and 2020 plans for three Bay Area restaurants."

This is my all time favorite sushi place in Portland! It is the perfect place! You get great quality raw fish and the price is truly unbeatable. I’m originally from Portland but now only go back 1-2 times a year and I make sure every time I go home I visit this place. Whenever I have a special occasion I take my friends and family to this restaurant. I have always found the service to be great and the ambience impeccable. I love the interior of this restaurant, it has a casual Japanese feel and I love it! Every single item I’ve ever tried from here is amazing and honestly you can’t go wrong with anything you get! My personal favorite is the chiefs choice nigri set. That’s is amazing!

My oldest and her dad love sushi. I’m not a big sushi fan. But we can all be happy here. I love the garlic chili chicken. My youngest was sure she wouldn’t like it but tried a piece of green machine and was won over. They all seem to crave the green machine with albacore. Then my SIL went with my oldest and liked it so much she bought 2 jars of green machine sauce to go. Prepare for a large bill - sushi’s expensive. But very high quality food and delicious.

I went here for my birthday dinner and the food was great (as always!). They had just updated the menu and I loved the new drinks menu. The waitstaff was fantastic and informed me of what I could/couldn’t eat with my allergies. There was a shift change half way through and the new waitstaff was equally amazing. I also enjoyed the complimentary dessert. Thank you Maya, and other bamboo sushi staff! :)

Love the food here. Excellent sushi. The tuna sashimi was outstanding. Felt rushed and server forgot my wine. With improved service this would easily be a 5 star restaurant in every catergory. I will be back because the sushi is so great that I can overlook service. I suggest ordering menu items separately when your ready for the next one. The kitchen is super fast. Thank you Bamboo! We will be back. 😀

Google
Bamboo Sushi is a nice spot for good sushi. The atmosphere is very intimate and semi-romantic. Our drinks for the night were the Bamboo Old Fashion and the Moonlight, both were quite tasty. Our miso salad was good. The sushi rolls we ordered were tasty as well (I don't remember which ones we ordered, but no complaints). We also ordered the brownie ice cream dessert which didn't disappoint.

Google
Great spot for some delicious sushi! Staff are friendly and helpful. I can imagine this place gets really busy during dinner time, so make sure to arrive a bit early outside the dinner rush. The black miso cod is excellent!

This is a pretty bougie restaurant, and not in a good way. Not very welcoming. When I first came in for a to go order. I was told it would be about 30 minutes. I only live a few minutes away. After 40 minutes I walked back to the restaurant because I hadn't received a phone call or text message and saw that my food had been ready and had been sitting on the table. I looked at the ticket receipt and my food had been ready 15 minutes ago. I ordered karage which was now cold. It did taste good but since it was cold, the texture was soggy. I also ordered the crispy rice spicy tuna that was pretty good. The atmosphere in the restaurant was a little strange and also it was very dark inside like no lights on. Maybe a different location would have a better vibe. There's so many other food places to eat, I wouldn't make a special trip out this way just to try this place. But if you live nearby maybe give it a try. I might have went on an off day.

Google
Went here for my birthday. A lovely experience sitting at the sushi bar. Everyone was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing and very fresh. The atmosphere was laid back and calming. My only issue is the chairs at the bar are not very comfortable for bigger people, this is compounded by the lack of a place under the bar to rest your feet.

Yelp
Food is good. Service is okay. Benefit of doubt is we went there an hour before closing on a weekend

Yelp
One of the best sushi places I've gotten the pleasure to visit. Garret and Cameron also known as G.C(Grand Champions) have both displayed their sheer Culinary talents in their art of filleting away at that delicious fish. As an honorable sushi slut, I don't often find myself taking my time with my sushi before it gets completely inhaled. Bamboo Sushi was different however, one must not only appreciate the atmosphere and the great conversations but also the culinary art and love that is put into their sushi. Time spent here is well worth its impermanence. Great price, great food, good times all around!

Yelp
We came in around 8pm on a Saturday night and were able to grab a table for two shortly, though I recommend reservations for large groups, as the place was fairly packed! My husband mentioned his celiac disease and the waiter didn't need any more prompting to assist us. He immediately mentioned the three or four things on the menu (which were labeled) that contained gluten, but also mentioned that the deep fryer was gluten-free so tempura and karage were available as safe options. We usually have to ask about deep-fried stuff, so we were impressed the waiter answered our question without us needing to ask. Additionally, all their "soy sauce" is tamari, which is such an inclusive move I love to see restaurants make in order to make most of their dishes gluten-free. The menu is very large and I was able to easily find some vegan options for myself as well. There was some delay on our waiter's end and he took several minutes to come back to us after jotting our edamame appetizer order and leaving us to look at the menu for our other options. However, the bartender noticed we were ready to order and stopped what he was doing to take our order. After the order was submitted, the food came our very quickly! As far as the food itself, the marinated shiitake roll was underwhelming for me, but I'm willing to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, as everything else we ordered was great. We spent $41 (minus tip) on two sushi places and two shared appetizers, which was a great value! Bonus- they also source MSC and ASC certified sustainable seafood! We will definitely be back! Note that parking is pretty limited and reservations for weekend nights are great if you can plan ahead.

Yelp
Bamboo Sushi. The name is popular in many states and cities, yet I was bamboozled. Here's a story as to why. I came on a weekday to beat the rush. I ordered a spicy tuna roll, Friday the 13th, and Bamboo dragon. There were a few errors beginning with the rice. It was way too dry and mushy. It felt like leftover rice, which is great for fried rice, but not for sushi rolls. Furthermore, the quality of the fish was just okay. Unfortunately, the taste of each roll was memorably unmemorable. Lastly, the price tag is too high for the experience and food. I was saddened by this experience. I will say, the decor inside was pleasant.

Yelp
Atmosphere: Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed the bar area Food: Enjoyed all the food that I had Price: Not the cheapest. Happy hour is good though Service: Bartender felt a bit detached and not very friendly but the sushi came out quickly Parking: Street parking. Parking in the area can be a little tight

Yelp
This Bamboo Sushi was a fantastic buffer as we had to wait 45 minutes for a table literally next door. Similar to another Bamboo S. my daughter took us to back in Sept '23, the modern style continues with a fresh energy. Our two cocktails looked real nice on paper and also when we got them- but the alcohol situation was nearly nil. Regardless, what took this moment to the next level was the deep fried Cauliflower kissed so gently with like teriyaki and cashews sprinkled on top.

Yelp
I've had bamboo prior to covid and wasn't a huge fan honestly. Moving on to the present time, I dined with a couple of my girl friends and the sushi was pretty good! I'm not huge on having a lot of sauce on my rolls or sushi in general and prefer nigiri, but the sauces on these rolls weren't too overwhelming. We got the sunset roll, Friday the 13th, crispy rice spicy tuna, salmon nigiri with yuzu, and spicy scallop nigiri. Out of all the sushi, the spicy scallop was the best! It was so well flavored and soft like butter. Our server was great, but I found it weird that we had to ask for wasabi after receiving 3 rolls and ask for water even though we left it on the side of the table empty. They were super kind but I feel like they could have been more attentive. Parking is typical in the area the restaurant is in -- street parking. It's also next door to Ken's pizza so expect to spend time finding parking!

Yelp
Bamboo Sushi is an ideal spot for vegans, offering delicious choices like the green machine with yuzu sauce and the veggie island roll that can't be found anywhere else. The avocado crispy rice reminds me of Nobu because of its crunchy texture and creaminess flavor with a hint of truffle oil. The Korean cauliflower is my favorite because the sweet thick sauce is addicting but it also differs from the tofu plate. The crispy tofu sauce was more salty, and definitely needs to be eaten with a side of rice, but I do like how it's not crunchy but still soft and not over fried and drenched in oil. The intimate, dark ambiance is perfect for sharing small plates, and the Ume blossom cocktail is my favorite because it's tequila based and has a refreshing citrus flavor. The servers are attentive and provide honest recommendations for an enjoyable dining experience. Make sure to treat your favorite vegan here, but there are also fresh quality seafood for non-vegans and pescatarians.

Yelp
While I haven't been to all of the Bamboo Sushi locations in Portland, I've been to quite a few and I can easily say that this is the best location (and also the original location!). The inside of the restaurant is a bit smaller in comparison to other locations, but it's cozy and just as beautiful. I sat at the bar when I dined and the bartender was a delight to talk to, was amazing at his craft, and put an immense amount of attention to the details of the drinks. I only ordered a Friday the 13th roll as I just wanted a quick bite and it was great. The quality was better than some of the other locations I've been to and the flavors of the roll burst in my mouth without overwhelming the salmon. I would love to come back again to try their other rolls (specifically the green machine as it's reportedly their most popular roll "by far").

Yelp
Another Saturday means another sushi date at Bamboo Sushi, this time at their Kerns location! I feel like each location of Bamboo has a distinct aesthetic and vibe, with this one being slightly more upscale and great for a date! My fiancé and I ordered two different versions of crispy rice - the tuna and the albacore, and a green machine. I got the little ume drink and he got the sucker punch. Our server was Royce and he and all of the other wait staff were excellent and kept on checking in on us! All together our bill was $59 for two drinks, and three different sushi dishes - money well spent in my opinion for quality and delicious food!

Yelp
Got the setto for 2 people, it came with 3 rolls , crispy tuna, some nigiri , and 3 different kinds of sashimi Food wise- the salmon nigiri was so good honestly kinda life changing haha . The crispy tuna was definitely life changing , flavors melted in your mouth and I really enjoyed the texture . Fish tasted fresh as for the rolls I enjoyed the green machine the best. For two people it was very filling . The price is pretty well priced in my opinion since we came out stuffed . The service was great! Waitress was sweet and attentive! My last meal in Portland and it was a banger! Would come again when I visit again! Ambiance- it was dark but felt nice and classy . Sat next to the door so I was a little chilly! Made reservations day of!

Yelp
Portion size was small. Rolls were loose and a little sloppy. This was the "hip" place to be, but I've had the same quality sushi at all you can eat sushi buffets. I might go back here in a slower night to see if it's any better.
google avatar

Nicole S.

Yelp
Really good food! Great service. Cute atmosphere. It's a solid place for sushi and other small plates to share with your party. We got the crispy tuna, miso soup, sunset roll and black sesame brownie and all items were perfect.
google avatar

Bruce R.

Yelp
The food was OK, not great like I remembered it, but tolerable. The prices were very high, in my opinion much too high for the quality of the food. The main parts of my order never arrived. I asked about it. The order was "on the way". I finally cancelled the remaining part of the order. They were not busy enough to justify the extended delay. As he accepted my cancellation of the remaining part of my meal, the waiter did not offer anything other than a tepid apology from the delayed delivery. I had waited for it as my dining partner ate all of his meal. They dropped the charges for the never delivered portion, but did not offer any other sort of compensation or even more of an apology. I was shocked. My memory of Bamboo Sushi from several years ago was so far removed from this evening's reality. Normally, I am pretty forgiving about glitches in service, but tonight was more than I can tolerate. Sadly, I will not be returning. There are too many other good sushi restaurants in Portland.

Yelp
While visiting Portland, my daughter and I stumbled upon this place when the restaurant that we were originally going to (Swiss Hibiscus) was closed. I never tried sushi in Oregon, but to my surprise this place was quite good. I found out later that it's a chain restaurant, but I'm not judging. Actually, I am. Hahaha! At any rate, I started with a Sapporo draft beer $7 and my daughter had a fufu mocktail $14. We had the Spicy Edamame $7, I ordered the Chirashi Bowl $35 and my daughter had the Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon $15. The edamame was dooo good. I need that recipe. The fish was fresh and the sushi rice was on point. Service was awesome. Parking is free on the street and side streets. I'll be back when I visit my daughter next summer.

Yelp
WAS my go-to sushi restaurant. The last few times I've been there, the food quality was very inconsistent, the service was spotty, the dining room is DARK and LOUD. I'd reserved table #11 in the front, brighter, room. The table was empty when I arrived (on time), but the host said I couldn't have it - and could not explain why not. Very aggravating and disappointing. Not interested in unpleasant food or experience surprises.

Yelp
Great presentation and the sushi tasted super fresh. Place makes a perfect date spot.

Yelp
I really enjoy coming to Bamboo now and I have for almost a decade. I was sad to have to abstain for a few years because of the pandemic and financial strain, but we are back, baby! I love their happy hour menu - you can get an excellent $6 hand roll that is just filled to the brim with deliciousness. If you want to splurge and hit up those sashimi options - go ahead, make your day (they are $$$ though). If I had all the endless $ to spend on their carefully crafted sashimi, I'd spend hundreds every day here: THEY ARE DELICIOUS. I can't, though, but I can happily and endlessly recommend the happy hour options. And every now and then will enjoy some of those beautiful nigiri.

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this restaurant after hearing about the good reviews! I love sushi so I had a lot to look forward to. We ordered the bamboo crispy rice spicy salmon ($15), bamboo dragon ($15), Friday the 13th ($18), unicorn ($19), nigiri scallop ($9), nigiri king salmon ($10), chili garlic chicken ($18) and salmon roll ($8). Total came out to be $112 for all that's in the photo. The sushi was absolutely delicious! Definitely a high-end sushi spot, so the expensive price was worth the quality. My favorites out of everything were the signature rolls and the nigiri scallop. The signature rolls tasted pretty similar. I loved the yuzu flavor added to the nigiri! I would pass on the chili garlic chicken next time. It didn't go well with sushi, but I'm sure it would taste good on it's own. I was looking forward to vegetable tempura, but it wasn't on the menu today. I'd love to try the other different types of nigiri, sashimi, or signature rolls next time!

Sharque A.

Yelp
Inventive and delicious vegetarian sushi. Like nothing I've ever tried before. A foretaste of the vegetarian/vegan sushi wave that has yet to arrive. I can only imagine what the non-veggie options taste like. Overall, great concept for a modern sushi restaurant. Service can be hit/miss, although they get super slammed during peak hours, so it's more than understandable.

Hannah S.

Yelp
We live in the area and have been coming to this location for a while now, and the service and food have both been pretty good. This time around, the service was horrible, and allergies were not taken into consideration when the food came out. We watched our server mingle with a table right next to us for over 15 minutes, and we had to ask 2 different servers and the host for things we needed (chopsticks and soy sauce trays - they took them, which was also odd, considering she knew we were eating sushi) and to address being given something we could not eat. We tried to get the managers attention, but he was sitting down, talking to the bartenders for nearly half of our stay. It was a slow time, and I wish he walked outside, but he did not. After waiting 30 min for them to remake the dishes without the allergy item, we had not gotten any refills, and our server checked on us once. Terrible experience and frankly very disappointing given our pleasant dining experiences in the past.

Amber C.

Yelp
This place is amazing and delicious. The sushi is wonderful and the wagyu burger is to die for.
google avatar

Remi P.

Yelp
The spicy tuna seems to be inexplicably cut with red tobiko roe.. so when you order anything spicy tuna, be prepared for beet-red dyed roe and less tuna than you would have expected. All the prepared rolls had such unpalatable "creative" flavor combinations.. you'd take one bite and think "interesting".. but have no interest in finishing the rest. The salmon is farm raised which to me is so sketchy - yes it's sustainable, but they also feed farmed salmon the equivalent of dog food...much higher incidence of parasites. Farmed salmon gives me crazy gas because the fats of the fish are not natural- it's just bad all around. The tuna and other sashimi was very good- stick with that.
google avatar

Danielle J.

Yelp
whenever friends come to town it's always the perfect excuse to indulge in all the things, including your favorite restaurants. we ordered the spicy edamame, unicorn roll, shrimp tempura and sunset roll to share for a table of three. overall very pleasant experience, was overjoyed with the company visiting from out of town so the laughter and conversation just made the food taste so much better. the ambiance and severs were welcoming and attentive to the table. the mocktail my friend ordered was probably the best item on the table, very creative and expressive flavors of berries bursting through.

Yelp
It's aight. I arrived in Portland about two hours ago. We were all set to eat at Papi Chulos, as recommended by a friend. But sushi is my favorite cuisine. Everywhere I go, any day of the week, I can always eat sushi. So this restaurant has the most reviews and the highest rating out of the sushi places that came up in a search. So we decided to give it a try. I can't think of enough words to describe average. Actually, after biting into the second sushi roll we ordered I started listing out synonyms for basic and run-of-the-mill. Both of our rolls had way too many tempura crunchies on them. And the flavor wasn't anything to write home about. It was the most uneventful and the most average sushi I've ever tasted in my life. The service was wonderful and the location trendy. But I wouldn't return. This one just didn't do it for me. It was the most simple, basic and uneventful sushi I've ever had in my life.
google avatar

Randall C.

Yelp
This place looks like a sushi restaurant and menu is more traditional with no need to know all the Japanese names for fish and dishes. Do not be surprised if the sushi bar does not have your favorite as all fish must have be sustainably sourced. The Toro, Sake and Maguro sashimi are of the highest grade with a very silky texture and clean flavors.

Lee V.

Yelp
I wanted to love this place. It's in a neighborhood. They gave a discount for being out in icy weather. The place was inhospitable in these ways: The lighting was dim enough that I could not read the menu. There were no descriptions for the dishes. I do not know this because I could read the menu (lighting issue) but because there was not enough writing to consist of a description. I told my friend that I wanted to leave. He thought I was kidding, he likes Japanese things, so we stayed. I was familiar with some of the dishes, but with diet restrictions, had to stay with unfamiliar dishes. I ate them only because my friend looked so happy. My heart sunk when he ordered more sushi, wanting to make sure I had enough. I later discovered he was so happy because he thought I was happy. If you like room temperature slabs of fish with a very small bit of rice, along with ginger, gf sauce, and wasabi, come here. I ordered cooked fish. It was raw and room temp. Not good. Or, if you are not gf, order something else and tell them if it is not the right temperature.
google avatar

Larry A.

Yelp
The ambiance and service couldn't be better. This is a great, attractive, lively place and the server was totally on top of things. So, naturally, you expect the food to be great and it was on the good side of average. Sunomono had no discernible vinegar in its dressing. Meanwhile, the miso Caesar salad was also bland, helped out only by ordering an extra serving of the dressing. The sushi was good -- just fine -- but nothing you (and I) haven't had at a dozen other places. So, Bamboo chef, we'd urge you to take things up a notch and make your food as great as the rest of your place.

Yelp
Bamboo is our GO TO sushi place. They area fresh and sustainably fishing which I really appreciate. Their Miso is one of my favorites and the hoki poki box is another. Thank you for the excellent service, treating us so sweetly on a recent birthday visit and for being conciencious.

Clark K.

Yelp
I took a date to bamboo sushi and we had a fantastic time. We were personally shown to our table by the manager, Thayne, who was friendly, courteous, conversational and very professional. The atmosphere was chill. The food (and drinks) were both excellent. I'm definitely adding this to my list of restaurants to return to.
google avatar

Pamela D.

Yelp
The food was good but they were training wait people and a cook so it was slow but very responsive. It was a Sunday and it wasn't crowded but seemed to be picking up. Our grandsons 10 and 12 y/o love sushi. There is an upstairs where we were sitting. Might be a problem for some. There were 7 of us.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is raising the bar for sushi in Portland. We were committed to staying with our favorite seafood restaurant exclusively, until we stumbled on Bamboo Sushi. This is the place. We are amazed by the inventiveness of the Hoki Poki Box, a delectable and delicate work of art. The Coho/Sockeye/King nigiri needs to be tried together, an excellent marriage of the fish and unique toppings to augment their flavors. The rest of the creations are not to be missed. We have yet to be disappointed. We will keep returning and bringing our friends and family. Thank you!

Yelp
We couldn't decide on what to eat during the dinner rush so we were glad that we were able to walk in and get bar seating without having to wait. Loved the ambiance of this location with it's modern decor, mood lighting, and bar set up. Bar seating was great as we were able to chat with the bartender and that's when he let us know that they were doing a partnership for the bees so they had a special drink and if you posted it on social they would make a donation. It seems like this campaign was happening across other businesses so we had to order it. The bartender was also super attentive, knew the specials and really convinced us to get them. haha | WHAT WE GOT | - EDAMAME - SPICY TUNA CRISPY ROLL - CHIRASHI BOWL - SASHIMI SPECIAL (specific to that night but had 5 pieces) __________________ Edamame here is standard but loved presentation and the salt added on top. I've never gotten a crispy rice roll before but really enjoyed this one! If you haven't tried it before you should give this a go for a nice crunch from your standard roll. The chirashi bowl was yummy and the fish tasted fresh. Great option to keep to eat all yourself or share. The sashimi special they had that night was wonderful as well and nice to give us options without ordering the full 18 piece on the main menu. Overall, I can see why Bamboo is popular and has multiple location in the city. Curious to see the decor for the other locations but really enjoyed the experience here.

Yelp
I have never had an experience at bamboo like this. It takes a lot for me to write this review but we ran into a little problem with our order and were met by Dorothy and her wrath. I'm not sure if this was a server or a manager but she lacked not only professionalism but just basic kindness. Will take my sushi desires to lake Oswego next time.

Yelp
Fabulous quality fish, amazing presentation and stellar service. Went in for a date night with my partner and left full, and happy. The creativity displayed in the cocktail menu is also remarkable. One of portlands top sushi spots.

Cash C.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time off uber eats because my local sushi place was closed. The food looked cery similar to the photos even from delivery, so I'll have to go in person next time to get a better experience. The food tasted amazing and the Wasabi was basically perfect in my opinion, but the only thing holding me back from giving it 5 stars is the portion size to price ratio. One roll to get delivered to me was 16 dollars and it was 8 relatively small pieces of Sushi that tasted great, but weren't the most filling. I will be going back for more.

Yelp
Passable, but. Not extrodinary. Mediocre at best. That's the best I can say. The interior is very attractive,.

Yelp
Been hearing about this place all over the internet so I had to hop on the first chance I got to try while I was in Portland! Fried Cauliflower - SO GOOD. The way this is battered and fried does not make you feel like you're eating anything remotely healthy LOL. However, fantastically paired with that spicy black bean sauce it is a great veggie alternative to eating the meat appetizers. Bamboo Crispy Rice Spicy Salmon - Had to order this because I still have not yet tried sushi with crispy rice!! Truthfully, fun to eat but I wish it had stronger flavors. The rice was bit soggy when we actually began eating it but I guess it cannot be helped with ordering to go. Would probably order again to eat fresh but not my favorite. Garden of Eden - I'm a sucker for tuna tataki so this was a must. SO much amazing flavor in this roll and the fish was so fresh. Probably my favorite! Overall, a pleasant experience but I wish it was nearly perfect for the price we were paying. The rolls were smaller than I would have liked and it also took a pretty long time to pick up the food (more than half an hour for 2 rolls and an appetizer).

Yelp
If you live in Portland ,you already know Bamboo is pretty popular and even though in my humble opinion there are a few other places that do Sushi better than them , they still would be in my top 5 for the ambience ,good service and of course Sushi . I had not been to this location before as there are two other locations that are much closer to where we live but we decided to give them a try . I would say this is a nicer spot than the other two but that's just my personal opinion . The service was pretty good from the start and our food arrived quickly . we went with the tried and tested and ordered items we knew they do well . The cocktails were a pleasant surprise as they turned out really good too . Overall , a good spot for a nice dinner .

Yelp
If you ever come in make sure to sit at the sushi bar! Great sushi chefs and even better service! Let me tell you, it was a rather rough day for me until I came in and sat at the sushi bar, Sushi Chef Chaz was of the most knowledgeable and caring sushi chef I've ever had. This fine young man, gave us great service and great knowledge on the fish we were over indulging in . Best service we have had of all the Bamboo sushi locations! If you could do a 10am at review Chaz's great knowledge and intellect would be all the reason to give someone a 10star! Will be back soon!

Yelp
BEYOND amazing! We made friends with some of the sushi chefs and crew. We go every Tuesday. Ella, Sheldon, and André always give us the best conversations at the sushi bar. But tbh- everyone who works there is amazing! Truly like family and they treat you as such. Extremely fresh sustainable fish selection with plenty of veggie and vegan options too. You can not go wrong with this place! Coming from Cali / SF- I have high expectations for sushi, and this place truly meets them if not surpasses them. 12/10 in my book.

Yelp
I was so hungry got my first capital one credit card 20 years ago. I ordered with just number didnt have the physical card. He let me have the food. Over the next 16 17 18 years we ordered sooo much food from bamboos china. I never got to know them personally, however we supported them their business, their food, service, employees were awesome.

Yelp
Best sushi place ever, very clean and they have vegan options. My favorite roll is the green machine. Pretty light on the stomach and not overpriced. Very popular place.

Yelp
Don't ever order bamboo sushi for delivery it's trash. I literally think they want to deter people from doing carry out. The food is just not good

Yelp
Nice looking restaurant, the food is super tasty and fresh and the drinks are great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Miso, sushi and wonderful drink. The non-alcohol ginger citrus was amazing. Long wait for our dinner time seating, and it was worth it. The zigzag sushi was my very favorite of the night

Yelp
The fish is fresh and high quality, something that is expected by now at Bamboo sushi. The omakase is great, if a little basic, but enjoyable nonetheless. The real issue holding this location back is the poor seating set up and very dimly lit environment. I get the ambiance that they're going for, but I want to be able to see how beautiful the fish looks. In addition, we were sat near the host's podium and during our entire meal we listened to the staff socialize. Overall, food was good, service was quick, and even though I could name a handful of other establishments that do sushi better, I get why this is such a popular restaurant.

Yelp
The food has greatly diminished in quality post pandemic. This used to be a go to for consistently great sushi, but now they are cutting quality corners and it shows.

Yelp
Sushi is a very delicate and delicious way to enjoy fish, and for years Bamboo Sushi has been our go to sushi, for a few years, but since new ownership has taken the helm, somethings have changed not for the better. Regrettably while Bamboo is still really good, it isn't our favorite anymore. Pretty said that they don't even offer fresh crab.
