Where to Find Unexpected Flavors in Dallas-Fort Worth | Eater

"Like any butcher shop, it’s best to ask what’s best that day. B&B offers limited-availability cellar cuts from American 55-day dry-aged prime cuts to Kobe beef and A5 Japanese wagyu rib-eyes. For dessert, as simple as it might sound, order the mixed berries with crème anglaise. You’ll need something lighter after a huge piece of beef, and rich, tart berries do wonders. ©2021 Highland Distillers Limited. Highland Park Scotch Whisky. Google
Aaron was absolutely amazing!! The recommendations and service was outstanding. He made sure our drinks were topped off and double checked the food quality with us. Thank you!!! Will go back again most definitely. 💯🙌🏽

Google
Consistently good. Food and service is outstanding, great ambiance. Sat at the bar area in a booth but it was not overly loud like some other restaurants. I got a prime ribeye steak and while it was cooked to Perfection it was a little tough but all in all great experience.

Google
Fantastic steakhouse in Clearfork! The service was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish—attentive without being overbearing. The steak was perfectly cooked and packed with flavor. The bread service was a standout as well, especially the rosemary & sea salt bread—top-notch! They also have an extensive wine list with something for every palate. Highly recommend for a special night out or when you just want an exceptional meal.

Google
My most favorite dish is Tuna Tartare*. This is best for sushi lover! I will go back to just enjoy this dish. I am not a fan of Beef Wellington and the pasta. I got the free dessert, Chocolate Cake, it has three layer, and it is delish and nummy! It contains coffee, but i did not taste the bitter coffee at all, which is great for me!

Google
Great night last evening for the patio. Ribeye and Beef Wellington were wonderful. Oysters and Cinco Leches were amazing. What really made the whole 1st time visit phenomenal was our server, Summer. She was engaging, funny, listening carefully to all questions and if she wasn't sure of an answer, she immediately went and checked. Summer was perfectly attentive, and made sure every item was enjoyed. I would have taken pics of the ribeye and Wellington, but I was so busy enjoying it, I forgot to.

Google
I visited yesterday with a friend. The waiter recommended the ‘Butcher’s Butter’ as the “best steak in the house” when I asked. Naturally I assumed it would be ‘melt in your mouth’ considering the tenderloin dishes that abound on the expensive menu. But…It’s like a few small fairly thick pieces of very done sirloin, much of which I had to wrestle from the gristle and fat, then spit that out. Yet the waiter looked at our finished plates and said “Well, not much left of that!” (¿?). He gave us great service except for that odd non-acknowledgement. I always know better than to ask for recommendations at restaurants but learned the same lesson - again. Too expensive for the food quality IMO. If you go don’t even order the butchers butter, it’s not worth the high price, not like tenderloin, which I should’ve ordered. The gristle is in the lower left of the pic. No idea why they talk up this stuff. $300 with 2 B.B. dishes, 20% tip and one drink, one side & bread.

Google
Very awesome for a date night our server ms Cheyenne (hope i spelled it right) was AMAZING... gave great recommendations on what ti eat and had everything come out fresh ... the food was the best we've had in very long time and we definitely will be back

Google
Everything was delicious. They have a lot of delicious dry aged options, and a very nice desert menu, I highly recommend the butter cake. They have different teirs of steak at different prices ranging from regular steak to American wagyu to Japanese wagyu all at various levels of aging. The staff was helpful and polite, giving good recommendations, and was very attentive without being pushy. The atmosphere is great, very clean, and professional.

Yelp
I'd heard a lot about this steakhouse and was excited to finally try it--especially for the beef Wellington. The proteins definitely lived up to the hype; everything was cooked well and flavorful. The sides, however, were just okay. The potatoes in particular were underseasoned, which was a letdown given the price point. For the cost, I expected the food overall to be exceptional. That said, the service was impeccable--attentive, friendly, and professional from start to finish. The bread service and appetizers stood out and are reason enough for me to return. I'm also interested in coming back to try their brunch, which I've heard good things about.

Yelp
After a wonderful first experience we decided to come back to celebrate a birthday. Unfortunately we both got a horrible case of food poisoning. We ordered the carpet baggers and beef wellingtons. I contacted the restaurant through both their website and open table, with no response. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Yelp
The quality of all facets of this restaurant is spectacular! From the service by Carlos, to the quality of their fillets, this place hit a grand slam. Highly recommend

Yelp
Service: this was my favorite place to eat dinner while in Fort Worth! The service is absolutely perfection, they have to make everyone feel special because I got different servers and hostess every time and they all made me feel like it was just about me and my party. Amazing service thank you! Ambiance: this is at an outdoor mall not a super huge dining area but nice enough to dress up for a date and they welcome the casually dressed as well which makes sense for those who want to eat good after had been shopping. A clean establishment which I always appreciate. Food: The food is prepared exceptionally well! Everything was delicious and just as we ordered it. Fresh, hot, and tasty! The bar drinks were great too! Definitely good drinks and they were generously made too. I will always choose to have dinner here whenever in town! They will not disappoint!

Yelp
I picked this restaurant to celebrate my birthday cuz I really wanted to eat delicious foods and feel fancy. We made a reservation for dinner on a Saturday at 6pm, once we showed up we were seated right away. The restaurant looked very nice, great atmosphere, and at that time there wasn't many people in the dining room. I wish I remembered the name of our server cuz he was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We started with cocktails, I'm a tequila girl and my husband is a whiskey man so we each had 3 cocktails. My favorite was the tequila expresso martini that the server recommended and now it has become my new favorite cocktail, I had no idea you could order a martini with tequila. We shared the jumbo crab cake for the appetizer, it was very good but kind of small, I could had eaten one myself. For the main course we had (we shared everything) the sea bass in a Cioppino broth that was delicious and the beef wellington. I was so excited to try the beef wellington and it was so good, definitely recommend it. For the sides we had the garlic whipped potatoes and roasted Brussel sprouts, both were pretty good. After our meal we had a slice of birthday chocolate mousse cake, it was very moist and light, just what I wanted. Had a wonderful time and will come back when we have another excuse to celebrate and feel fancy!

Yelp
Get your knives and forks ready! Because you'll be digging into this meal ;D B&B Butchers has a great date night or special occasion vibe. It's a nice modern steak and seafood house. Although, they and I will tell you... you should order their steaks. It's what they are know for and... WOW, do they come out seared and cooked to perfection. I'd say, they should also be known for their service. It is really top-notch. They do a phenomenal job at coursing out your meal, making you feel welcome and aiding in your dining experience. We ordered: - The Bread w/ Whipped Butter, Whipped Honey Butter and Whipped Mustard Butter - Crab Cake - Sea Bass - Steak w/ Truffle Butter - Mashed Potatoes My husband was absolutely in love with his steak! Personally, I can't wait to go back and get my own soon. We enjoyed the crab cake. It had the most delicious sauce and we were quite sad when it was all eaten up. The mash potatoes were perfectly creamy! Our favorite part of the entire meal was the BREAD! I know this sounds wild. We were so surprised, too. It was so fresh, fluffy and addicting! Going back? I'd go back for just the bread again haha so absolutely ;D

Yelp
The food was good but what they actually exceeded was the service. The butcher shop is next to the restaurant and you can see through the window

Yelp
B&B is always a delectable treat. I was so happy when I found out that there was one in Ft Worth. My first experience was with the restaurant in Houston and always dinner, so I wanted to try their brunch. It's in the posh area of ClearFork, so it's a nice date night spot or come hang with your friends. We went to Sunday brunch to eat but they will allow you to order off both brunch and dinner menu. There's live music in the bar area, in which we sat. The noise level was perfect. Our server was attentive and pleasant. I've always loved hanging in Ft Worth over Dallas just because the people are a lot more friendly. So the atmosphere was also very pleasant. I failed to take a picture of the bacon. But as always I couldn't pass up Chef Tommy's Bacon. I'm a sucker for truffle, and couldn't care less for bacon normally, but the truffle combined with blue cheese and honey is to die for. They give you 4 large pieces so it's big enough to share. We also had a Rasberry Martini which was well made with the right amount of sweetness. This establishment has always done well with making a proper martini. Lastly we shared the Carpet Bagger Po Boy with a side of Cesar. I would give this dish a 4 out of 5 only because one of the oysters was way too chewy & overcooked. The dressing on the sandwich and the Cesar dressing were delicious. The price point can be steep but it's worth it, so if you're feeling fancy and want to eat well, try it out.

Yelp
Located in the middle of The Shops at Clearfork, B&B Butchers is definitely fine dining with fine dining prices, even at lunchtime, when we visited. The atmosphere is beautiful inside and very comfortable. I can't say that I was impressed with the food. My medium burger was most definitely closer to well-done. We did love the steak fries/wedges, and the lobster bisque was a split decision between the two of us. He really liked it, but the lobster was too fishy tasting for me. I think a lot of my dissatisfaction lay in what I decided to order. I'd try their french dip sandwich next time. Finally, I want to say the service was outstanding! I wish I could remember her name, but it isn't on the texted receipt. Cheyenne? Charmaine? In any case, she was serving in the back room on Monday afternoon, and she was simply welcoming, knowledgeable, friendly, and remembered every little thing we requested. (I just wish i could remember her name to give her her proper due. Very impressed!

Yelp
Just know you are getting yourself into a high end steakhouse. It is a great cut of meat, and you can honestly order a $340 steak and have to spend another $60 on sides. You aren't getting out of there for less than $250 for a couple. But if that doesn't deter you, the service is good. The tables are a little bit small for What they're being asked to do--fine for 2 but we were a party of 4. It was a bit crowded on a Friday night and it gets noisy when it's crowded. Typically dimly lit and romantic.

Yelp
We went to B&B twice for restaurant week. I'm pretty sure people with give it low stars because of the price but you get what you pay for. The food is great, the drinks are great, the service is great. The restaurant is so pretty especially at night. I love those they have the butcher shop. They even opened it up for us after dinner so that we could purchase some of their awesome thick but bacon. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Loved everything about my meal here - so much so that we booked another res a week after going for the first time. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and seated right in the Shops at Clearfork. It's dim, romantic, and the perfect steakhouse vibe. Our server was wonderful - super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I appreciated his honesty about portion sizes and his assistance in curating our meal for the evening. The show stopper was the beef Wellington. I don't think I could come here and order another entree instead - ever. We also tried the filet mignon with béarnaise and it was delicious but it wasn't a beef welly! Other notable items were the carpet baggers which were so nice and acidic/punchy, the lobster Mac and the corn soufflé. The soufflé was unique and a nice thing to try. The Mac was great but the lobster was a tad bit overdone. I look forward to trying more sides here in the future alongside many, many more orders of the beef Wellington.

Yelp
College Graduation dinner to forget! Filthy floor had tomatoes and other slimy items under table. Wedge Salad had long black hair in it, when half way finished!! Steaks were cooked properly but meat was poor quality and was tough on Med Rare bone in NY strips. Filets looked short of their 12 ounce claim. Only the crab cakes and side dishes were close to the hype. Spent $800 with family of 6 for a crushing disappointment. Wanted to try something new but B&B just made us more loyal to Eddie V's...

Yelp
I've always wanted to visit B&B Butchers. We tend to dine at the restaurant and love their food, and never got a chance to try the butcher/deli. Well, I'm glad that we did. The same care and concern for my allergies was gladly appreciated. The food here was good. O ordered the pastrami sandwich. If yoire a nest lover, this butcher/deli is the place to go. They loaded up my sandwich with what seemed like a pound of meat, some tasty mustard (probably a Dijon) and placed it all on some specialty bread. Overall, I thought the service and attend to detail was amazing. The ambiance, was that of a deli or butcher, and the food was good. I'd give B&B Butchers another chance or two.

Yelp
Was treated here for Father's Day and they left no room for complaints. This is a dim lit premium butcher shop and restaurant. They actually have the butcher shop next door for those who prefer the diy route. Everything was prepared to perfection, and accompanied great service (your own server) to complete a well rounded experience. My party of five sat comfortably with more than enough room for dish placement. Excited to dine again!

Yelp
This restaurant was highly recommended by a friend, and they didn't steer us wrong. From the food to the service, it was all top notch!! They have a decent amount of parking, considering it is in a high-end mall. There are a lot of shops and restaurants in the area. I made a reservation online, and we got there a little early, but they seated us right away. Our main server was J.J. and his assistant was Tionie. They were amazing! J.J. and Tionie answered all of our questions and gave us some great recommendations. We ended up getting drinks, a long island ice tea, a drink that was like a spiked Arnold palmer, a Manhattan, and a z pack. For appetizers, we got bacon and calamari. We also got the bread service that came with 3 butters; salted butter, mustard, and maple butter served with rosemary bread. For our entrees, we got the ribeye and seabass, and for our sides, we got au gratin potatoes, mushrooms, and garlic whipped potatoes. They also bought my husband cheesecake for his birthday. All the food was good and the service was just as good. We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Not worth the price, we stumbled by this place heading to another restaurant nearby and decided to check this place out instead for my birthday. The steaks were good but the sides were horrendous. We got the corn soufflé, steak fries and Mac n cheese. Corn soufflé had a sour taste to it, not sure what that was about. Steak fries for too big and soggy. Mac n cheese weren't too bad. You had to pay for bread and there are no free refills for your soft drinks. I didn't mind paying for soft drinks but it was literally in a skinny glass with an ice full and definitely less than a can of coke. There is Grace and Ruth Chris Steak nearby, I would head there and stay away from here.

Yelp
this place is a solid four stars. We came here during dfw restaurant week and we were definitely not disappointed. everything was delicious and the items on the menu were extremely filling. for the lunch restaurant week, it comes with a side plus entree. we opted for the brisket ravioli and the b&b meatballs. (out of the two, i really enjoyed the meatballs). As for the entrees, we decided on the salmon and the burger. As first, we assumed since it was during lunch we would get small portions, but that is definitely not the case. the salmon and the burger were filling. Both were tasty in their own way. The salmon came with some veggies and a nice sauce. The burger was weight to it, and came with nice deep fried fries. We also ordered a cheesecake to go, and that was really good. This place is split into two sections. There is a bar area near the first and then in the back is the dining area. They also have a section upstairs, but i think that's reserved for special occasions.

Yelp
My husband and I came here for the DFW restaurant week menu! We have been wanting to try this place out and restaurant week was the push to make it happen. The ambiance is definitely more on the fancy side but not so much for lunch. We had great service and our waiter was very attentive and great and refilling our cups as needed. For starters, I got the iceberg wedge and my husband got the meatballs. The iceberg wedge was super good and the bleu cheese that was one the salad was probably some of the best bleu cheese I've ever had in my life. The meatballs for the appetizer were huge! Honestly, they could've been a meal on their own. The flavor of them was good but had a little kick to it. For drinks, my husband got an aperol spritz and liked it! He said it was close to being better than the ones we got in Italy!;) For our mains, I got rigatoni alla vodka. The flavor was really good and the sauce was tasty. The only thing missing from it was some bread to dip in the sauce! My husband got the salmon and it was tasty as well! He mentioned that it was a tad bit on the dry side but mainly because the sear on it was that good. For dessert, we got the creme brûlée and omgggg. It was so good! Don't skip on the dessert!

Yelp
My family took me here for Mother's Day!! It was my first time dining here. The food was delicious however, the hot food was served cold. We decided not to send our food back after the wait. Disappointing to say the least!! Our server was amazing!! Attentive & on top of things. The restaurant is very classy & perfect for getting all dressed up! In all honesty, for being an upscale restaurant, it was a tad not disappointing! Some items are definitely overpriced!!!! My children were saying that they'll only return for dinner after this poor experience! They would have received 5 stars if the food were served at the proper temperature!!!!!
google avatar

Katrice S.

Yelp
One of my & my husband's favorite restaurants in clearfork. The staff are all very friendly and the food never disappoints. I think that's a reflection of the work environment for the employees and overall culture of the restaurant. When you feel appreciated you want to put your best foot forward for your customer. Always a great experience.
google avatar

Stephanie T.

Yelp
The boyfriend and I went here for lunch today as part of DFW restaurant week, and were not disappointed. The servers were super attentive, you can definitely tell it is more upscale, and even made food recommendations. Scott got the meatball appetizer and the Reuben sandwich, and definitely said the Reuben was the better of the two. I got the whipped ricotta appetizer and the pan seared salmon, which were fantastic. We also shared the calamari which was excellent. The ambience is obviously different during lunch, and we got there pretty early, but by the time we left it was packed. Definitely a good choice at a reduced price for restaurant week.
google avatar

Kelly K.

Yelp
Amazing! Best Ruben sandwich I've ever had, and I typically don't like them very much. The flavor was good and the meat was fresh and delicious. The Cobb salad was also a hit, big and good flavor/dressing with big pieces of bacon. Service at the bar was excellent
google avatar

Yelp
Wow oh wow guys... This is primarily a classy steakhouse, which just so happens to have a fantastic butcher shop next door, which just so happens to make the best sandwich's you've ever had. On a typical day on the butcher side, you'll have 1 of 2 incredible sandwich artists assisting on your journey: Ashley and Valerie. They are genuinely pleasant, professional and engaging. Excellent customer service and happy to assist in picking which magnificent sandwich will be your lunch. I don't really want to say too much about the offerings. All you need to know is the ingredients are superb and the end result is a lunch to remember. WARNING: Lunch in the butcher ship will increase your desire to come back later in the evening for a steak dinner... which is also epic. Lastly, the front of house manager Zach is also a gentlemen. Management of this company absolutely knows what they are doing. Absolutely worth checking out as long as you don't mind becoming addicted to the food and friendly service. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Yelp
The hubby brought me here for my birthday dinner. Arrived 5-ish on a Sunday without reservation and lucky for us, not fully booked. We started the evening with a glass of wine each and some raw oysters. On a 100 degree day, they were perfect refreshers. Our server was so attentive and gave us a little more time to decide our meal as our 6-yr old was with us. The hubby settled on the Butchers Butter and this birthday girl had her steak and cake treat. We killed our respective meals...and that went for our 6 yr old and his salmon dish. Such robust flavors all around. For dessert, we split a slice of Uber-rich cheesecake that made my not-keen-on-cheesecake husband a believer. He said it was so smooth it was like he was eating ice cream. My son had his fair share. Lovely evening that was immensely enjoyed. Cheers!

Yelp
First off I do want to say that they have an excellent customer service. No beating around the bush on that. They are very respectful, definitely attentive to your needs and very knowledgeable. The ambiance of the place is also top notch. Fancy date night, throw $300 for dinner then this is the place. I do want to say though because of those 3 factors; service, ambiance and pricing. I was expecting an excellent dinner. But I was disappointed to be honest. It's a specialized steak restaurant right so I should be getting a better meat than if I would've gone to del frisco double steak, lonesome dove and all those restaurants. I mean the name of the restaurant is "butcher". So we ordered 55day ribeye, and then lamb chop, also beef Wellington. Which they overcooked on all except the ribeye. I was also expecting the ribeye to be more flavorful because it's aged but it didn't meet expectations. Lobster whopper potatoes were disappointing as well. It was just too much. Too big of a portion and we ordered half portion! Lobster Mac was kinda dry, wish they would've put more sauce on it. Spinach and Asparagus was ok nothing to complain there. Drinks were strong! So great job bartenders! 5stars there. I really wish I enjoy this restaurant more. But I might give it a try one more time and maybe order a5. We'll see.

Yelp
We chose this spot for my husband's 40th birthday and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful, and has a second floor, which is where we sat. Our waiter was so nice and very friendly, he gave us great service. The food was so good!!! The meatballs were so tender and fell apart. The ravioli app was awesome as well. The prime rib was delicious and the potatoes au gratin were out of this world! The Mac and cheese was also delicious. Cannot wait to go back and try more. Everything was wonderful!

Yelp
Pretty pricey menu, but it's a nice place to splurge. We arrived early for our 8 pm reservation on a Friday night so decided to try to grab our predinner drinks from the bar - which was very crowded. It was hard to order drinks without leaning over the people trying to enjoy their food. By the time we had drinks in hand, they were ready to seat us at our table. Now for the food, we had the burrata and prosciutto appetizer. It was garnished with fresh basil and both the cheese, and the meat were fresh and had minimal fat on the paper-thin slices - just the way we like it. The warm bread was good and came out with a side of butter. I would've liked the butter softened or whipped, but that's me being picky because my personal favorite comes from Pappadeaux's. For entrees we had the skirt steak, a filet, and the butcher's butter. The skirt steak was cooked medium rare, as requested, and came with a very tasty chimichurri topper. The 8 oz filet was cooked to medium rare, also as requested, and topped with truffle butter. The loaded mashed potatoes were made from scratch and delicious - there were 2 pounds of potatoes mashed and topped with all the fixin's, served in a cast iron skillet. Now for the butcher's butter medallions... the server suggested to be cooked to a medium temp because of the intense marbling in the ribeye cap. However, having had this cut before at other places, I opted to have it cooked medium rare. Unfortunately, it did come out more on the medium - medium well side and served over some average tasing spinach. For the price, I should've sent it back since it was overcooked but alas, I didn't. To be fair - it could've just been a fluke because our friends have been there a few times and the butcher's butter has been cooked medium rare as requested the last 2 times they ordered it. We shared a bottle of the Stags Leap Pino Noir. The decor is elegant with white tablecloths and polished glassware. If you're looking for a place to have a nice dinner, you should give it a try. There is a butcher shop on premises, as the name suggests, so be sure to check out the aging meat hung in the display case.

Yelp
Calamari appetizer was enjoyable. Wagyu filets were perfection as well as our garlic mashed potatoes. But the star of the show is always that rosemary bread! Oh my goodness, we can't get enough lol. This place is just good & the service is always top notch

Peggy B.

Yelp
Ambiance, good. Service, okay. Steak, horrible! 22oz bone -in was so over aged. It was dry, tough, tasteless. We were a party of 8. One person ordered a steak salad, but was told he wanted a bacon salad???? And that is what was served. Totally unacceptable for such an expensive meal. Our hostess for the evening did not want to make a fuss, so nothing was said; however, if a meal comes out of the kitchen like that again, it will go back...and we won't be back.
google avatar

Yelp
My Wife and I recently came here for dinner with some friends. And this was the Best Restaurant in Fort Worth. 100% best food we have had since we moved back. Recently ate at another steakhouse and they can't even touch what B&B is putting out. This is our new Favorite Spot and will be coming back way more often!!

Yelp
I'm sure I've done reviews of B&B Butchers before. On June 8th we dined there to celebrate our 54th anniversary and our daughter and son-in-law's 19th anniversary. We were greeted with an anniversary card and message signed by one of the managers. Then Cheyanne, our favorite server brought us complimentary sparking wine.We ordered calamari and the BLT salad to start. I ordered a Monkey 47 Gin Martini and was pleasantly surprised to learn they had Monkey 47 Gin. We splurged for our main course meals. Our son-in-law ordered the Bone. In Ribeye Steak. Our daughter ordered the Steak a La Berg. After a few bites she said best ever. Her plate was full so she took what was left home. My with ordered Dover Sole which was deboned at our table. I ordered the Butcher's Butter. It was 10 ounces of one of the most tender steaks ever. We always order the corn soufflé as a side. It's always tasty. We also always order the Berry Butter Cake for desert. We try to dine at B&B Butchers at least once a month. The managers always stop by to say hello. Cheyanne always takes great care of us. There is always someone making sure our water glasses are full. One thing I especially like is that many things I've eaten at B&B including my Butcher's Butter is unique.

Yelp
We arrived without a reservation however the manager and hostess were very accommodating. We waited less than 10 minutes to be seated. Javier was our server, over the top friendly and helpful with suggestions. We ordered the sausage gumbo, bacon Brussel sprouts , salmon with garlic potatoes and scallops and steak. Everything was to perfection, we cleaned our plates. The interior is gorgeous and comfortable. Seating seems awfully close. It is really noisy difficult to carry a conversation without screaming.

Yelp
My wife, daughter and I ate at B&B one evening after events at TCU. It was a Sunday evening and we had no reservation. We took a gamble that a table would be available, and one was. We were promptly seated, greeted quickly by our waiter, had water served, wine and food list. Wine was fantastic, service was good. food ordered, arrived at appropriate intervals. Food was cooked to perfection. Checked on by waiter throughout meal, thanked by manager for coming in. Dessert and coffee was good. Appropriately priced for quality and ambience. B&B, we will be back!

Yelp
This was the second time, my family and I dined here. The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is elegant. Love the staff as well. Very professional, attentive, and going above and beyond. Our waiter, Aron, was superb. Would highly recommend asking for him. The Prime rib here, is definitely top-notch, as was the Calamari, Oysters, and everyone who had steak, was extremely pleased. Awesome job B&B Butchers and Restaurant.

Yelp
Change is good but if anyone taught you "don't mess with success", it applies to the roast beef sandwich at the butcher shop. I've tried their reuban and Italian sandwich after the roast beef thinking it would be good to change it up, but they do not come close (especially the Italian one) to the glory of the roast beef sandwich. Perfect bread, toasted on the outside, soft on the inside. The roast beef is tender, flavorful and accompanied by hot or sweet peppers (I've had both) and gourmet mustard. There is a bit of cheese, but it is excellent with or without it. This roast beef sandwich is pretty close to perfect. The only thing that could improve is the pickle, preferably to one without dye. Find me a better roast beef sandwich in Fort worth. Cheers to b&b for an excellent sandwich.

Yelp
We are at B&B Butcher for thanksgiving day, heaving celebrated with our family the weekend before. The options were prime rib or turkey dinner or order off the menu. We opted for the turkey dinner. Typically a pre fixe menu is disappointed or barely passable but not so at B&B. The entire dinner was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. We were blown away. I'm considering taking my entire family there next year. Well done B&B. Delicious food and beautiful service. Definitely not a typical pre fixe holiday meal.

Yelp
One of the better steak houses i have been to. Had the NY strip medium rare perfectly cooked. Not overly spiced and thick cut. The service was excellent.

Yelp
I love the ambiance at BB; it has a top-notch bar area with knowledgeable and prompt service. The menu is fantastic. I used to find the food a bit bland, but I don't feel that way anymore!

Yelp
WOW! What an unforgettable experience!! Kristin was incredibly kind and accommodating when I reached out to book a group dinner, and Gina welcomed us so graciously into her store! They surprised us by booking our party into the butcher shop for a private meal with a prix set menu for the occasion! To say they went over and above is an *EXTREME* understatement!!! This was an experience of a lifetime with, hands down, the best steak I've ever had! It's so hard to find a place that can nail well done without it being dry and B&B is not only up to the challenge, but entirely capable of exceeding expectations! Everything we tried was amazing and all of us left full and feeling so incredibly grateful thank you again for such a wonderful night, you really made the evening sparkle!

Yelp
Presumptuous and overrated in my opinion with slow service and food that isn't as special as prices would certainly suggest. Pretty good wine list, though.

Yelp
We went for restaurant week and we were treated very nicely. Their bread and butter is delicious, they have a Great Drink menu available. I really like that they have a huge variety of appetizers to choose from. Of course their meat menu is unmatched. They have a huge variety of selections to choose from as well as cuts. Their desserts are also pretty delicious. Tip: This is in the Clearfork Shops, ensure that you park in the parking garage. Make reservations as well. Make reservations

Yelp
This is the best restaurant in DFW. All the staff works together in synchrony without hesitation. It's a true team from top down. I judge ever other restaurant now because of how well B&Bs runs its staff. From Conner to Zack to Steve, AB, Mike and Cheyenne. This place needs a Michelin start from the service alone. Everything is top notch.

Yelp
The place is located in a really good spot and tons of shopping. Nice place to talk and be heard. Service was ok and the food was the same. We both had steak and it was cooked close to the way I like it. I cannot recommend the sides we chose, however the bread service was amazing. If you want a steak they definitely have many choices.

Yelp
Update: 2nd visit was a bit different. Service wasn't like the first time. The Carpet Bagger was recommended and it wasn't great. It was cold and I wasn't a fan of the Buffalo sauce or the chewy bacon. My wagyu skirt steak was a bit chewy also and my steak fries were hard. I couldn't eat them.

Yelp
So every time my husband and I go out for our birthday, I always make a reservation and say it's for a birthday. This is the first place that has recognized it and gave my husband a birthday card. We both ordered drinks which were delicious. We shared the brisket ravioli. He ordered the beef wellington and I got the scallops. We shared the corn souffle and garlic whipped potatoes. And he got a free cheesecake for his birthday and I got myself the creme brulee. The place is nice and quiet and the staff was perfect and professional. Everything was super yummy, although the beans with the scallops weren't my cup of tea but the scallops were amazing. My husband enjoyed every part of his meal. Liked it more than Toro Toro even though he enjoyed that place too.

Yelp
Lots of people talk about this and I thought we would try for my Birthday. I'd give it a 4.5. Here is a breakdown: Crab Cakes: Perfectly cooked and paired very well with the sauce that was underneath it. Bacon 3-ways: Chef Tommy's bacon is heaven sent and this is the only part you need to be concerned with . The lamb was so-so and tough. The Thick but bacon was good but not that good. Long story short, get an order of Tommy's bacon and prepare to defend your bite. Chateaubriand: Best meat I have had in years, so good....soooooo sooooo good. I do not believe that it was a whole 16oz. After cutting, 2 men got 2 pieces of beef. I'd say our whole piece was like maybe 8-10oz (not the advertised 16oz) Beef Wellington: I am not gonna comment since I am meat purest and don't believe you need to put a tenderloin in a pastry. It's blasphemy. However the wife loved it. (and the nice gentlemen next to us licked the plate) Loaded Mashed potatoes: Ours looked like they had been in the window for a while. Not very appetizing. Brussel Sprouts: Another grand slam, so good and so perfectly cooked. Simple a perfect side Butter cake: Save space in your gut for this, you have to get this morsel of love. The perfect dessert, not to sweet, warm and cold with ice cream. Crème Brulle: Not worth the money, it isn't the greatest I have had in the world, seemed like the augmented the yolks with vanilla pudding. Tisk tisk. There was vanilla bean, just not enough for the entrée. Here is the breakdown: The Chateaubriand is enough for one person, skip the 3 bacon sampler and get Tommy's instead, Skip the potato sides and get asparagus and brussel sprouts, finish with Buttercake.
