"Just around the corner, Alexandre Polmard, wunderkind of the butcher block, officiates at his butcher shop/restaurant where glass cases at the entrance display prime cuts aged by his revolutionary method, and on the upper level, a full service restaurant proposes a menu composed 90 percent of beef." - Stephanie Curtis

Great night last evening for the patio. Ribeye and Beef Wellington were wonderful. Oysters and Cinco Leches were amazing. What really made the whole 1st time visit phenomenal was our server, Summer. She was engaging, funny, listening carefully to all questions and if she wasn't sure of an answer, she immediately went and checked. Summer was perfectly attentive, and made sure every item was enjoyed. I would have taken pics of the ribeye and Wellington, but I was so busy enjoying it, I forgot to.

I visited yesterday with a friend. The waiter recommended the ‘Butcher’s Butter’ as the “best steak in the house” when I asked. Naturally I assumed it would be ‘melt in your mouth’ considering the tenderloin dishes that abound on the expensive menu. But…It’s like a few small fairly thick pieces of very done sirloin, much of which I had to wrestle from the gristle and fat, then spit that out. Yet the waiter looked at our finished plates and said “Well, not much left of that!” (¿?). He gave us great service except for that odd non-acknowledgement. I always know better than to ask for recommendations at restaurants but learned the same lesson - again. Too expensive for the food quality IMO. If you go don’t even order the butchers butter, it’s not worth the high price, not like tenderloin, which I should’ve ordered. The gristle is in the lower left of the pic. No idea why they talk up this stuff. $300 with 2 B.B. dishes, 20% tip and one drink, one side & bread.

The food was great, as was our server. We enjoyed the PEI oysters and my brother and I liked the porterhouse and the rosemary bread. There’s a few complaints though. When it comes time to pay, the server delivers the check in this flimsy plastic checkbook that looks like it was bought at a 5 and below. I feel that if B&B is trying to improve they should buy some better material checkbooks that have their logo on them… While I could get by that, and that was truly a suggestion that the management should improve how checks are presented, I didn’t appreciate the paying itself. I believe that they should take the credit card away instead of bringing a machine and having you pay and add a tip in front of the server. It certainly adds a pressure as a customer to have a server breathing over your shoulder while you enter a tip. It’d be nicer if they returned with a merchant copy for you to add a tip to, and then you could leave comfortably knowing that the server won’t give you a bad look of sorts. Lastly, I think they could have a better selection of wines, specifically from Spain and France. I think they’re lacking in this sense.

Visited this restaurant recently and had a great experience. The food was delicious, with flavors that really stood out, and the presentation was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, making the visit even more enjoyable. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that there’s always room for improvement, perhaps in ambiance or menu variety. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for a tasty meal and good service!

The service and food are top notch! If you have a lot of money and want amazing steak this is the place to go. I had the lobster Mac&Cheese and it was amazing. The brussel sprouts and 55 day dry aged steak is a must please give this place a try you will not regret it.

The service was very good. All three steaks at the table were overcooked. Granted, they did ask how the food was which is one of the reasons I get them high marks on service. But I don't have time to wait for a new beef Wellington when I'm sitting with friends at dinner. I asked for medium rare and it was definitely medium well. Pretty pricey for overcooked steaks. Thank you for your good service though

We went for our 17 Anniversary and as angus beef growers, we were impressed. It was phenomenal. We will be back.
