At Slabtown’s New Pizza Thief, Sourdough Pizzas Arrive Alongside Rye Hand-Pies - Eater Portland

"Bandit Bar, which shares a building and ownership with Pizza Thief, offers cocktails with house-made syrups and tonics. The bar features ten local beers on draft and ciders from local cideries. The cocktail menu includes unique creations such as the 'Smoking Gun' and 'The Sting'. Patrons can also enjoy a selection of Pizza Thief’s pies alongside other bar snacks like meatballs and a charcuterie board." - Maya MacEvoy

Connected to a Pizza shop, you can buy a slice of pizza which is really delicious and grab some drinks. Great bar staff and so many local brewery beer. Decor is really nice and overall great vibes.

It's a cool little bar that is connected to the restaurant. They have a decent selection of specialty cocktails to order from. I enjoyed the Time Scan #2, which was similar to a highball. I also liked the fact that you can order a slice of pizza at the bar as well.

Maika makes some of the best cocktails in Portland! She’s so much fun to chat with and takes the time to make everyone feel like they are welcome while multitasking non-stop. I’m always so happy to see her behind the bar when I come in. Chopped Salad and Wildwood pizza are my favorites things to eat, but the staff is definitely the highlight of this NW Portland Gem!

Fabulous, tasteful ambiance with a splash of quirk and a great selection of bitters. Even the well options are classy. 11/10, I wish I could transplant this place and the adjoining pizza joint (also delicious pizza by the slice) to my home neighborhood.

How to turn a $300+ tab to a $145 dollar tab: between my friends and I, we have spent thousands and thousands of dollars at this place through the years, yet that came abruptly to an end for me today. As per usual, we went to one of our favorite spots “pizza thief” to grab food and drinks from this bar after work, unfortunately the staff, seemingly upset with me, came over directly to our table and told me that they were getting complaints by other customers, because apparently I was laughing too loud for a bar setting. There were a total of maybe 6-8 people at the bar when we showed up, I was with a group of 9 (we trickled in) and ordered $145 worth of food and drinks along with the tab that was already going before I even got there, so easily over $200 just to start the evening. I had food and one drink, and we were still waiting on more people to show, when they came from the pizza restaurant side to tell me I needed to keep it down. I understand if we were being disruptive, disrespectful, fighting, etc, or if it was a very quiet restaurant, but we were in a bar, and they came from the restaurant side to talk to me directly and when I looked there were maybe 5 people at most in the pizza restaurant. Instead of closing the curtain and letting us continue to enjoy a few drinks they chose to “shut it down” because of my laughter. Our tab for a group that big normally runs between $300-$600, so it’s not like we walk in there and spent $30 and act out. Unfortunately I will never again set foot in this place.

Super awesome bar that just happens to also be connected to the best pizza in the area. You can order whole pizza and slices from the bar.

Delicious drinks with a warm and welcoming vibe thanks to the super friendly bar staff. Feels weird to review this separately from Pizza Thief since they complement each other so well. Can't think of a better spot to enjoy great drinks alongside fantastic pizza.

Yelp
Wow! What a find! We just moved to the neighborhood and found Bandit Bar and Pizza Thief while exploring this vibrant neighborhood. These businesses are connected, so you order your perfect sourdough pizza at Pizza Thief, then grab a seat at the bar at Bandit and order cocktails as Bartender's Choice or from the wide menu. We're vegan so we had the always available vegan slices (each slice is about a 1/4 of a pie) and sat at the bar. I ordered a whiskey concoction off the menu and my lovely bride ordered a Bartender's Choice tequila cocktail made in the classic "brown, bitter and stirred." Each cocktail was excellent. It'll be hard to stay away from here!
