The Best Vegan Restaurants in San Francisco | Eater SF

"There’s a timeless joy in noshing at Dolores Park, possibly San Francisco’s most Instagrammable park. Sandwich superhero Bandit is newer to the neighborhood, but eating the vegan sando on one of those sun-struck benches or grassy hills is an undeniable treat. The sandwich costs about $14 and features an Impossible pork patty, avocado, house-made aioli, and a gluten-free bun." - Paolo Bicchieri

Good sandwiches, some better than others. There might be a bit of a wait, but otherwise service is friendly. Location is very quiet with decent seating. Been here twice. Can't recommend the bandit, but the fancy is quite decent. They're hearty breakfast sandwiches. Nothing overly spectacular, but a great meal to start the day. Coffee is great. Worth a try if you're around the area.

Google
This is a very small spot in the Dogpatch that you might miss if you’re not looking for it. We were in the area and found this place and decided egg sandwiches would start our day off perfectly. I got The Fancy (add bacon) and the Dirty Bandit (cold brew over horchata). On the coffee - I like coffee. This coffee tasted like the coffee candy my grandma used to give me when I was a child. Nice nostalgia vibes there. On the sandwich - the tomato jam in it really stands out. It lends the sandwich a nice, tangy umami. The eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked (not dry, not wet). The freshness of the chives and soft, toasted bun help bring everything together. My boyfriend got the Broke Millionaire which I almost got but I decided to get one without the smashed tater tots (which I’m sure are delicious). I think I’ll try mine with a sausage patty instead of bacon next time. Or both. Because why not? A staff member even went through the trouble of chasing after us to return the sunglasses I left behind. Overall an A+ experience and I’m looking forward to eating here again in the future.

Google
Savory breakfast lovers delight — with wide selection of sandwiches and burritos. Hot Mess, medium fried egg and spicy fried chicken breast make for a yummy duo. Brioche bun, however, a tad dry. Cheese Eggs Breakfast Burrito, griddled and slightly spicy, rolled with tater tots, yum. Grab to go and enjoy at nearby Crane Cove Park.

I recently visited [Restaurant Name], and it was the ultimate experience! From the moment I opened the bag, I was hit with a burst of flavor. The food looked so appetizing, and each bite was a delight. The tater tots were incredibly crispy and golden, absolutely dreamy! And the sandwich? Oh my gosh, I couldn’t stop eating it. It was so delicious that I found myself wishing I could experience it all over again. This place is very luxurious and simply the best! It’s way better than any other smash burger restaurants in San Francisco, like The Melt or Smashburger. They don’t even come close! Every ingredient tastes as if it came directly from the farm. Even the names of the burgers perfectly capture the experience. Mine was called “Broke Millionaire,” and it perfectly captured how you can enjoy something that tastes like a million bucks, even if you’re on a budget. My partner had the “Notorious,” and it was just as incredible. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Google
This place was pretty busy for a Sunday morning.   The place itself is small and had minimal decor if that.   Most of the people who were here to dine were city workers, people who work at nearby restaurants,  and of course, people who live in the neighborhood who walk their dogs. I was greeted right away and already knew what I wanted to try.  I got hit with a curve ball, they now have breakfast burritos as well.. all bad for me, lol We ordered: 1.  The Bandit - Classic scrambled egg and cheese with bacon.  I love that it has avocado in it as well.  Unfortunately,  it was a little too eggy for me.  The bacon gets lost in the egg and arugula.  I felt this one was a little dry. There was nothing to tie everything together. 2.  Broke Millionaire - Everything you would want and more in a breakfast sandwich.  Eggs, cheese, house made pork sausage, bacon, smashed tater tots, grilled onions,  and avocado.  Out of all the sandwiches,  this is the one I liked the best.  The combo of the sausage and bacon, you can't go wrong.  Granted, it's a big bite, but this one is hearty. 3.  The Brekkie - This one is a sausage breakfast sandwich with smashed tots, grilled onions, chives, jalapeno relish, and Bandit Aioli.  This one packed a spicy sweet bite. 4.  Captain Crunch - (spicy) breakfast burrito with all the stuff you would want in it. Chorizo, bacon, cheese, tater tots, grilled onions, and aioli. It was delicious, not greasy and flavorful.  I was scared because it said spicy, but it wasn't spicy to me. We even added got sauce to it. 5.  Tater tots - crunchy and delicious even if it gets cold.   It doesn't get soggy or oily feeling. 6.  The Dirty Deed with Tater Tots - cheese,  grilled onions,  chopped bacon,  chives, drizzled with Bandit sauce.  This was amazing.  I was scared the hash browns would get soggy and overly greasy with the toppings. It was the opposite.   The hash browns gave it a crunchy texture, and you can taste all the various fix-ins. This place is a hidden gem and was reasonably priced.   I highly recommend it and can't wait to come back.

Google
i don’t get the rave reviews at all for the breakfast sandwiches here. bread to filling ratios were off and overall lacked flavor. the only thing memorable was the sauce. broke millionaire: need to change the bread their using so it’s more pillowy and absorbent. takes away from the actual filling, especially since it’s already carb heavy with the tater tots. lacked flavor.

Google
Came here for a quick bite. Did take a bit of time but I appreciate a breakfast sandwich that is made to order. I thought the bread to meat ratio was a little too much. The chicken sausage was very flavorful, maybe a bit salty. The burger patty was really juicy. I’d come back to try some other menu items

Google
Breakfast sandwiches are very good. Burgers are a bit underwhelming, but that could just be my preference for more of a smash patty. Tots are crispy and tasty. Price for burgers are higher than I expected (more than the other location), but I guess typical for such a “hip” neighborhood They have outside seating and a decent parklet so that’s nice on a sunny day.

Yelp
Only a few tables inside, but it wasn't busy when we came in on a Monday morning so we were able to sit down to enjoy breakfast. My friend and I got the broke millionaire breakfast sandwich, which was pretty good and what you'd expect for a bfast sandwich. I recommend getting the hot sauce on the side for an extra kick. I tried my friend's dirty bandit coffee and I personally didn't like it, I thought it tasted watered down. I appreciate how friendly the employee who took our order was!

Yelp
Came here with my partner to get some breakfast to start off our day! It was my first time, but my partner has come a few times and enjoys the broke millionaire sandwich! I got the Fancy Sandwich and added bacon to it. It was absolutely delicious and everything I wanted in a breakfast sandwich! My partner tried the Captain Crunch burrito - it was quite good as well and the portion size was large! We also enjoyed the tater tots, which were delightfully crunchy and perfectly salted! The service was also great as well. I also enjoyed the ambiance - we sat on stools at a high top table. The space is on the smaller side, but still large enough to accommodate all customers dining and waiting! Overall, I would definitely come back again !

Yelp
It's a 4 because every single breakfast sandwich is a 5 and lunch items are more of a 3. I've been ordering take out from this place for over 7 years and it's the best greasy and satisfying breakfast sandos ever and they're even worth the trek from my place when I'm feeling a little weekend bike ride. I decided to swing by here to try their lunch and it was more of a 3. The individual components of the mofo burger are great but they're a bit inconsistent with how they lay everything on the burger, so one part can be super soggy and have condiments and another part could be super dry. The ratios are just all over the place - some lettuce piled high in this section but not that, etc. My husband got an OG burger and his patty was perfectly cooked and mine was almost too well done. We've done it a couple times and lunch is super inconsistent. Again, breakfast items are 100% every single time.

Yelp
I was craving a breakfast sandwich and a Google search led me to a cool little hole-in-the-wall spot in the Dogpatch. I got the Brekkie Sandwich ($13.95) Includes: scrambled eggs, house-made pork sausage, cheddar, smashed taters, caramelized onions, and jalapeño relish - and it was really good. The horchata was solid too. There's limited seating, so it's more of a grab-and-go place. Staff was friendly. It's pet-friendly, which some people will love - but personally, I could've done without it. I'll return for sure!

Yelp
Grabbed some french fries here as a snack while on the way to Dolores park. The inside is really tidy and modern looking. Ordering was easy and the food was ready in about 5-10 minutes! I like to try fries at most places I go and the fries here were super solid! Their Bandit sauce was also yummy. Would come again for an actual meal if I were in the area!

Yelp
My coworker noticed this burger place close to our work, and so we just had to try it. It had stellar reviews, pics looked amazing. I ended up getting their regular cheeseburger with regular fries, both of which were fantastic. The cheeseburger just the right delicious, greasy meat, with the right amount and ratio of lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, pickles and cheese. It was just a match made in heaven. It was extremely satisfying. The fries were good, although not super amazing or memorable. The food came out pretty quickly, perfect for our lunch break. The only reason why I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathroom situation. After eating a greasy burger, my hands were soooo dirty. There is no public restroom, even for customers. This is a burger place where it is absolutely necessary to wash your hands after. Sigh. I guess I'll have to do take out here only. It's such a great burger, love it so much. Just need a sink to wash my hands, is that too much to ask for?!
google avatar

Yelp
I had the bandit breakfast sandwich. Crispy bacon and egg on a brioche bun. Bacon was a little hard vs crispy. Egg was well prepared. I feel like the use of brioche made the ratio of protein to bread was off. Brioche probably perfect for the burger but not the egg sandwich.

Yelp
We came here out of a recommendation from TikTok and it wasn't a regret! Unfortunately we accidentally went to the old location in the tenderloin (big mistake), then we finally made our way over here. The parking is all street parking, but it's not too bad in the dog path area when we went. The service was super quick on an early morning. We didn't wait longer than 5 mins for our food. I really love the area but it was raining when we went, and it seemed like there was no heater to sit in and eat our food, so we didn't stay because of the temperature. I got the chorizo burrito (not pictured) and a latte and my boyfriend got a broke millionaire. I LOVED the broke millionaire. I wish I got that instead. The burrito itself wasn't bad, definitely packed with a lot of flavor but their sausage in the breakfast sandwich was so god with the tater tots and avocado!

Yelp
My friend and I were at the Museum of Craft and Design and looking for a place for a late lunch. This place was a quick walk and looked promising. We both ordered a cheeseburger with bacon, fries and iced tea. The person taking orders (I didn't get their name) was super friendly and inviting. We didn't have to wait long for our food and when we got it, we both were in heaven. It was delicious and cooked perfectly. It feels like a whole-in-the-wall place with the limited seating but because this was late afternoon, there was plenty of room for us. If I'm ever in San Francisco again I'll definitely make my way to Bandit again!

Yelp
My wife and I usually get a burger on Saturdays, and we wanted to try somewhere new. We settled on Bandit (Dogpatch location), and unfortunately it was a really bad choice. Food: We both got the cheeseburger. Wife got hers with fries, and I got mine with tots. The buns were drier than a Popeyes biscuit. Have you guys ever seen a hamburger bun crumble? I didn't know that was possible until trying a Bandit burger. I wish I was joking. The burger patty was dry on both our burgers as well...which was strange, being that it's made with American Kobe beef. We both couldn't taste the beef either. All we could taste were the pickles and onions. The burgers weren't hot either, which was strange, being that they were served to use promptly. 0/5 The tots were really good. 5/5 Fries were so-so. 2.5/5 Service: Ordered at the front counter, and food was dropped off. Cashier and server were nice, but not a sit down restaurant so interaction was minimal, with self serve water. 4/5 Ambiance: Decor was decent enough, clean, with minimal seating (maybe 20 seats total), also no restrooms. 2/5 Summary: Unfortunately, my wife and I will not be coming back. Maybe people come here for breakfast type items, but the burger was so bad we're traumatized. Probably more mad, surprised, very disappointed, than traumatized, but you guys get what I mean. Food looks a lot better than it tastes.

Yelp
Cane here on a Sunday morning and there was a small line with seats filled inside. They don't take cash so keep that in mind when you come. We sat in their outdoor seating area because we brought our dog with us, but there were some people that brought their dog inside while ordering. They have dog treats available for free, which lasted about 2 seconds before my dog ate it in one bite, so I'd say it has his stamp of approval! I got the Broke Millionaire breakfast sandwich. Definitely on the pricier side, but it was great! I always love crispy potatoes in my breakfast sandwiches, and the pork patty plus the bacon were so flavorful. Also loved the avocado in it for some freshness. I could barely take bites out of it because it was so tall. Overall, I liked it as a dog-friendly place to have brunch, would come again!

Yelp
The breakfast sandwiches were so good! My favorite was the Lazy Millionaire (also tried the Fancy and Deviant but I wasn't really a fan of either). The dirty horchata (with cold brew) was tasty but I don't think I would order it again.

Yelp
Awesome spot to stop by for brunch/lunch in the DogPatch area. Casual spot where you order at the counter. There is some seating inside though it is quite a small, cramped space, as well as a parklet right outside. The food took quite a long time, but I appreciated how apologetic and kind the staff were (who said it was due to a kitchen equipment not working and that this wasn't their usual pace) We tried a breakfast burrito - Slinger- which my husband stated was one of the best he ever had. Super tasty with eggs, cheese, crisp tater tots. They have numerous sandwich and burger options-- we enjoyed the Impossible Burger which came with caramalized onions, their special sauce, avocado, lettuce and tomato. I appreciated that they had a salad and that it was huge, but the dressing was a bit too tangy for me with the pickled carrots and large amounts of fennel. The cous cous appealed to me, but there was a very small amount of that. Overall we love places that also serve coffee and espresso for a one stop shop. I'd say the coffee and espresso drink were mediocre though.... probably would've been more worthwhile to make another stop somewhere else, but again appreciate the convenience since not that many good solid food places offer espresso drinks! (they used a legit machine, not a lame-o button press or anything)

Yelp
Friendly service. Fast, made to order. Great Dogpatch location. Hot food. Thank you for being g open on Memorial Day! Casual atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
It's all about the fries. They are crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside--without being soggy. Both the fries and the burger were served hot and eaten on the patio. I've been here before and tried the chicken sandwich, which is also good. The space itself is small and uncomfortably warm inside (late summer), so I recommend eating outside if the weather allows on their parklet. Staff is friendly, but struggled to keep up with the lunchtime rush.
google avatar

Ria B.

Yelp
Really solid egg sandwiches. The sauce they put in it is divine and the portions are good. My only qualm would be it is a little pricey about $13 bucks and my friend ordered an impossible patty that added $3 to it. The dogpatch location is quite small inside but there is seating. Should be able to fit about 15 people or so and there is seating outside too! Service was standard they do walk the food to you and hot sauce is free which is always a plus!

Yelp
Came here for a breakfast sandwich & burrito after seeing a review on TikTok. Came at about 8am on a Saturday and there was no one in the restaurant! So we got our food pretty quickly! The restaurant was clean and nicely kept. The sandwich (broke millionaire) 7/10 & the burrito had chorizo bacon ,eggs and spicy aioli, cheese& grilled onions soo good! 8.5/10!
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
Super delicious spicy chorizo bfast burrito w bacon egg and cheese. Easygoing staff and nice place to sit and enjoy your meal. If you like spicy, i would recommend this burrito.
google avatar

Yelp
they added breakfast burritos (and raised prices) since the last time we visited, so we came to check them out. we got the captain crunch ($14.95) and slinger ($13.25) breakfast burritos. they're on the pricier side compared to other spots in the city. (i've been on the hunt for the best breakfast burrito in the city.) good serving size for me, but a little small for my bf. both burritos were solid. i preferred the slinger, the chicken sausage was surprisingly flavorful. my bf preferred the captain crunch. we got a side of hot sauce to tie it all together. we both remembered it being spicier, not sure if it's different now? taste: 4/5 value: 3.5/5

Yelp
Soooo good. Food came out very quickly. Enjoyed my cappuccino while waiting, and I liked that it wasn't busy at the time I went. I thought the sandwiches were delicious. My only thing is that I wasn't a fan of the bun. I thought it was on the drier side. Instead, I would've loved a brioche style bun. That soft, pillowy texture is perfect. That being said, solid breakfast sando.

Yelp
I was looking for what places in SF that have lavender drinks. This is one of the places listed. I learned it is a couple of blocks where I worked. When I went inside. Love the atmosphere. Love their menu selections. The hours of operation also accommodate for people in the morning and afternoon. The drinks are awesome and food is also good that I already been going to that place for at least once a week for 4 weeks. I recommend this place if you work close by or a date option or going solo or no more than a party of 4.

Yelp
I guess I'm just not a fan of breakfast sandwiches. All the ingredients sound like it would've been tasty, but everything was really bland. My first time here so I decided on the "Broke Millionaire" breakfast sandwich, "Dirty Deed" fries, and horchata. The best thing here was the horchata, although it was rather expensive at $6 for it being half filled with ice. The best thing about the breakfast sandwich was the smashed tater tots, but everything else didn't have much flavor or texture. I was especially perplexed by the tasteless and dry bacon. The fries were decent, but I had to throw 3/4 of it away because I was too filled up on the disappointing burger, and it basically had the same flavor profile. Maybe the salads and beef burgers here are better, but for what they're known for, I'm not too impressed.

Yelp
Brief Summary: - Close to one of the MUNI T-line stops - Ordering can be done on a kiosk too - Indoor and outdoor seating available - Crispy fries, soft inside - Coffee is not sour We were planning to walk around in the Dogpatch, and as we were looking for places to eat, this one caught our eye. The photos looked fabulous, the soft but solid buns holding up the inside together? The simple yet beautiful interior of the restaurant with shining green tiles on the kitchen side, the well-known San Francisco style windows at the entrance. It is close if you take the newest T-line MUNI and ride on it a few minutes. After stopping at the 20th street, it is across the block, tucked around the corner of a taller building on the other side. There is outdoor seating with the street booths, and there is also some seating inside. There were two sides of the menu, and usually, I would have ordered a burger. However, it was still early in the morning and I wanted to eat a meal that can be paired with coffee, so I opted for a breakfast sandwich this time. For my order, I chose the Bandit and a side of fries; the coffee is a lavender latte. Since we decided to dine in, we got a cute little metal sign with a number on its face. The wait time didn't feel long, and the staff brings the food to your table. Coffee arrived first and then the meal. The lavender latte is lightly sweet and I tasted gentle lavender notes after each sip. Very pleasing taste. The breakfast sandwich was very good. The brioche buns were as sturdy and solid as shown in the photo; it secured the bacon, eggs, and other fillings while I ate it. The bun didn't grow soggy despite having different sauces. I should also take a moment to praise the sauce. The scrambled egg tastes great too, it is mixed with seasonings, so it wasn't just an egg. Final touch is the bacon. Technically, I'm not a fan of bacon but this was cooked in my preference. It's not cooked to a hard crisp; it still retained its pork softness with a sliver of fat. It's very good and the soft texture balanced out with the sandwich.

Yelp
Bandit is a small casual cafe joint located in the Dogpatch. It's very close to the T line and there's a decent amount of street parking in the area. We ordered for takeout and got the Bandit Sandwich, Broke Millionaire Sandwich, Fish Fillets (2 pcs), and Tater Tots. I was really impressed with the packaging - both the sandwiches and tater tots were super secure and the 2 pieces of fish came with lemon, tartar sauce, and vinegar. My favorites were actually the tater tots and fish - the tater tots were perfectly crunchy on the outside, and the fish paired super well with the vinegar that they had provided. The sandwiches had good flavor as well, but I felt like the bread maybe wasn't toasted enough or the bread to egg/meat ratio was slightly higher than my preference, but still a good sandwich regardless. The food was already ready when I got to the restaurant - super quick service and an overall tasty spot! I'll have to try some of their other sandwiches/burgers next time.

Yelp
These are some tasty burgers. We have ordered them for work a few times now and pleasantly impressed with the burger, toppings/flavors and the fries. I've never been in person, but had these burgers twice now. The burgers actually look like the photos on doordash and I think the buns really make the burgers better. They are fluffy, yet do not fall apart, even with all the toppings and sauces. There is a lot more I can say about these burgers, but then I'm going to get hungry. Can't wait to try one of their breakfast sandwiches soon, they look delicious as well.

Yelp
Egg- cellent sandwich! Got the one with a chicken sausage patty that was a great punch of flavour. The buns are very soft and just the right ratio of bread to egg to sauce. They have a ton of options to choose from, I will be coming back to try around the menu. Really reccomend it if you're in the area

Yelp
Food was really good - got a breakfast burrito with chorizo, bacon, egg, cheese and tater tots. Tater tots were gas - so crispy crunchy. Coffee was pretty good too. Ambiance is fantastic in this place I love the design and color scheme in there. Service was quick and friendly!

Yelp
We visited Bandit on Sunday at around 11:30am. There was only a short line, and food came after 10 minutes. There is seating indoors and outdoors. The shop is quite small and cozy. Parking is street and was difficult to find. My boyfriend ordered the slinger burrito ($13.25+$3), and I ordered the brekkie sandwich ($11.95). He really enjoyed his burrito, and it was surprisingly filling for its size! The brekkie sandwich was mediocre in my opinion and a little dry. Both items included soft eggs, crispy tater tots, and hearty protein. I loved the crunchy tater tots, however there wasn't much in the sandwich. I was wishing for more aioli or jalapeños relish to bring more moistness and flavor. The brioche buns were overwhelming, too thick and filled my mouth with bread. My only issue with the burrito was extra $3 for a few slices of avocado... crazy!!! Overall, this is a solid breakfast spot with a great selection of items. Looking forward to come back for their burgers and other sandwiches.

Yelp
I was there this morning for the first time tried to order food was still there was a 25 minute wait which I understood we proceed to order a decaf latte which they don't offer decaf at all according to the person taking out he was extremely rude and unprofessional we order a hot chocolate and a mocha when I ask him about my mocha because it did not taste like mocha tasted like a latte. He told me well. I put a lot of chocolate in there. What do you want me to do? I said can you please add more chocolate? He seemed upset by my request grabbed my cup put the chocolate did not even stir I noticed that he will come to every table and hand their drinks directly, but to me and my child asked us to get up to get a drinks so I'm not understanding why we get different treatment anybody else in there which I find it like extremely rude and insensitive

Yelp
Order two breakfast sandwiches and a turkey sausage breakfast burrito before heading to wotk. The sandwich bread is divine. However, the ingredients inside gave off. "I cooked it at home." The burrito was dry needed more sauce and something green like green onions. I wanted to order the tater tots, but for the price for the potion, I reneged. People at the counter just one human managed to rake orders and make espresso I a polite and timely matter. The space is very small. Need to reconsider the seating arrangement. It consists of a hightop for 6 and 2 regular 4 tops. Maybe it's just too many chairs, with hips and dips it's hard to maneuver.

Yelp
Imagine a burger but for breakfast! Served on a fluffy bun. Lots of layers including of course an egg. With a side of tater tots is the ideal breakfast. Gave it 4/5 stars because this was not my favourite morning spot. The inside is not super cozy and to get to the bathroom you have to go through the kitchen which feels a bit unsanitary. The coffee was great and we enjoyed the food but probably won't be returning anytime too soon.

Yelp
Best breakfast burrito I've ever had! They always come out super fresh and the portions are great as well. The slinger was my favorite

Yelp
Best vegan sando I have found in the yay area. Quick service and in a nice little cafe on 20th street off 3rd near the shipyard.

Yelp
I honestly had fairly high hopes for this place only to be severely disappointed. The sandwiches looked good in photos but in reality were sub par. The bread was dry and possibly even stale. I got here when they first opened so this is their first fresh order of the day on a weekend. The actual components of both sandwiches were just bland. The brekkie sounded like it was going to be a lot of flavor and items but it was just a sad mix of boring flavors. The staff were kind but I don't think it justifies coming here. It's a small place and fairly clean.

I think this place was a bit overhyped to me. I saw a few videos calling it the best breakfast sandwich in the city so I decided to check it out in the dogpatch area. It is nice to eat outside or at the crane park area. The sandwich itself was tasty but nothing too special. I thought the egg was well cooked and bacon was flavorful, but the arugula felt like a strange add-on and there was a bit too much bun. Still a solid sandwich, I will say- just didn't wow me.

Yelp
Really yummy breakfast sandwiches, with short wait times at that! We only had to wait 10 minutes for our sandwiches to be ready! The deviant 4/5: This came with chicken apple sausage patty, meunster cheese, avocado, and a medium egg. The muenster cheese added a nice creamy bite to this, but overall I found this to be the saltiest of the 3 sandwiches we got - likely due to the sausage patty. I think some hot sauce would have helped. The hot mess 5/5: fried chicken? Sign me up! This came with a medium egg, spicy fried chicken, cheddar cheese, arugula, chives, and a spicy maple sauce. I thought was a bit too heavy for me to consider a breakfast sandwich, but as a brunch or lunch sandwich it's great! I loved the sweet and saltiness of this sandwich, and it had a slight kick but not really spicy so I think even those who can't handle spice would be able to enjoy this! The fancy 5/5: This is a vegetarian sandwich with srambled eggs, gouda, mushrooms, grilled tomatoes, chives, and avocado. I really enjoyed this one! Seasoned very well, and felt much lighter than the other 2 we tried. This was my favorite of the 3, and I don't even like tomatoes. I think I'll add caramelized onions to this next time.

Yelp
Delicious breakfast sammiches, was sad to see them leave the Geary location but can understand the frustration with repeatedly having to replace huge glass panes that would get broken into. Travesty that they were dealing with so much cause they're great folks and the food is so delicious!!straight comfort food can't go wrong with any of the breakfast sammies. Ty e fish and chips is onmpointntooo dunno if they brought that with them to the newer bay view location but yep everything these fine folks make is bound to be delicious

Yelp
Great location. Smart concept. Bread/bun was "day old" and dry which ruined the bf sando. Tots were delish. Solid cup of coffee Friendly service. Fix the bread issue + 5 stars

Yelp
Came by on a Sunday for lunch. Lots of people standing around but sandwiches came out pretty quickly so it wasn't a problem. The sandwiches are more like burgers, breakfast burgers, and we're bigger than i expected them to be. Ask for Tapatio. 2 sandwiches, hash browns, and 2 coffees +tip ran us about $35 total. The restaurant itself is nice, walnut counters, forest green tile, and yellow painted accents; i might have to copy it. We'll definitely be back. Only downside is parking - it can be difficult unless you get lucky.

Yelp
Holy crap! One of the best brekkie sandwiches I have had in a LONG time. A T M O S P H E R E / S E R V I C E: Friendly service and it was quick. One thing I noticed (doesn't affect review) is that Toni Braxton's Unbreak May Heart was played twice during my time. Even though it was busy and crowded, line went quickly. F O O D: I ordered the millionaire sandwich but subbed the chicken sausage for the pork. The brioche was perfectly soft and not crumbly. Juicy, savory, constructed well and didn't fall apart(!), why haven't I been here before? To be honest, it lives up to its name because there was a LOT going on in there. Maybe I could've gone without the bacon (but that's me since I'm not a bacon person. Sausage Patty or link? Let's go!) If you like spicy, order the jalapeño relish. Unique take on spicy and sweet. Note: $1. Sigh. They do have sides of hot sauce which I think was tap but it could also be cho. Definitely not sri bc, you know, shortage. I did cough up $5 for tots which I didnt need bc the sandwich was huge and already had smashed tots in it. Oh well, carb loading I suppose. Or just letting my summer body go (didn't have one to begin with...) D R I N K: And the latte: egh. Should've gotten something. Parking can be a challenge given the area but towards ResHardware you just might.

Yelp
Tried Bandit's *Vegan Sando*. A few things: the highlights is that it tasted fresh w/ clean quality ingredients- arugula, avocado, mushrooms. The gluten free bun was quality - nice & fluffy. Even the aoli was exceptionally pleasant (got it on the side cuz I typically deplore mayo). ::: Unfortunately it wasn't reminiscent of a Breakfast Sandwich at all. I tucked it away & didn't wanna finish it. Felt a bit sterile ironically. Unlike an indulgent, succulent, semi-greasy concoction. I'd recommend this to cleaner eaters wanting something crisp & light. The semi-sweet grilled tomato was out of place. I also am not a fan of Vegan items being priced more than the heftier omnivore sandwiches on the menu. Other Perks: Dirty Horchata! Tater Tots (far more enjoyed than the sandwich)

Yelp
Waited 30 minutes for a breakfast burrito and when I asked for an update the curly headed cashier in the front blamed it on the fact that I was taking it to-go. Weird encounter.

Yelp
Solid sandwich spot in Dogpatch! Cute and clean decor, plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and friendly staff. Plenty of parking along Illinois Street and conveniently located two blocks from Crane Cove Park. Had "The Bandit," which had the fluffiest scrambled eggs and perfectly cooked bacon drenched in their secret aioli. I am still not over their pillowy brioche bun either. Their coffee is strong as well which is a plus. Looking forward to trying their other sandwiches. Come support this business!

Yelp
Bandit Here for the hype but unfortunately wasn't as good as I'd hope. Since it's in the name, I got The Bandit (9.50) breakfast sandwich which included: scrambled egg's, butcher's cut bacon, Muenster cheese, baby arugula, and avocado w/ a side of tater tots (5.50). The sandwich was honestly a bit dry, I barely could taste any of the Bandit sauce. Knowing that it was a brioche bun, I was hoping for a sweeter, less dry, bun, but unfortunately that was not the case. Nothing about the sandwich nor the tater tots was super amazing for me, but it was decent.

Yelp
American Kobe beef hamburgers. If you're using that kind of beef, you'd better be making a good burger. And they do. I had their straight cheeseburger with added bacon. House-made pickles, tomatoes, green leaf lettuce (!), and their house aioli. Worth coming back to!

Yelp
Great breakfast sandwiches and friendly staff! I came to The Bandit as I was craving a breakfast sandwich and had seen them show up on my social media a few times. The restaurant is located in Dogpatch right next to the T stop making it very accessible. I ordered the Bandit breakfast sandwich and a vanilla latte. The breakfast sandwhich had plenty of filling (though definitely lighter on the bacon) but I didn't love the burger bun. The flavors are also very dull with little kick or strong flavors coming from any of the ingredients. I could barely taste their house made aioli and felt the arugula was bit weird. Next time I would recommend to try the Brekkie sandwich - that one looked delicious. The vanilla latte was great but a little on the sweeter side so ask for less syrup if you don't like your coffee too sweet. The staff was very friendly and patient as I was quite indecisive. There is also some seating which is mostly unused (I was basically the only person there at noon on a Saturday). The restaurant is quite small but still a cozy breakfast stop!

Yelp
Stuff I hear for a late breakfast on a beautiful sunny day in the city. I've gotten coffee here before, but this was the first time I've tried one of their breakfast sandwiches since I showed up during off-peak hours I didn't have to wait too long for my food I ordered the broke millionaire just because of the absurd amount of toppings on a single breakfast sandwich. I was not disappointed because the brioche bun perfectly contained all the contents and considering how much was in there I'm surprised the sandwich didn't slide around more. The sandwich was wrapped tightly, so this definitely helped. I'll be back :-)

Yelp
I was walking in the area and remembered I heard good things about this spot so decided to give it a try! We originally started off with the Broke Millionaire and tater tots. Both were so delicious but what really blew me away were the tater tots - the crunch on the outside without being too fried was amazing. My only complaint with this was I wish there was more ketchup but to be fair, I didn't ask. Since we loved the broke millionaire and tater tots so much, we also ordered a cheeseburger. Also delicious but wasn't as wow'd. All in all, a very delicious meal with also very reasonable prices.
