I stopped by this hot chicken place today to try their food since I was already getting something from the store next door. I placed my order through their website and got the first pickup time of the day. I got the plate with two sandwiches and fries. I selected one mild and one medium for the spice level. I arrived right when the place open and there was enough parking since the plaza wasn't busy yet. The worker had trouble opening the door so we had to wait a little bit, there were other people waiting as well. All of the employees did not greet or acknowledge any of us while we were inside the store. I saw they had horchata drink here so I placed an order with their kiosk for a small one for my wife. My order was not ready until ten minutes after my pickup time. The whole time waiting, none of the workers interacted with any of the guest or stayed behind the counter. The parking lot was packed when I left. The hot chicken was okay, the bread was not my favorite and they the ratio of the bread to chicken is not balance. There more bread, so it just depends on the person. The fries were more soggy so it wasn't that good but they give a good amount of it. The price is different from their website until you place an order. This place was alright to try once in my opinion.

I genuinely have no words, bangin buns is seriously SO good and you must come try it!! Workers are super friendly and will make sure you feel well served:) Also, beautiful spot! The meal was great. It was made just the way that I ordered it. I definitely recommend trying the food out here. I do reviews all the way around the world and I feel like the service here could’ve been a lot better . The lady taking the orders did not seem like she wanted to work. She did not greet me when I arrived, even though I said hello to her, she still did not say anything. She just looked at me. Everything is digital for taking the orders . It’s a quick easy process to order from the kiosk. I give this place a four star review only because service could have been better 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We've been drooling over this chicken on Insta, so we drove from Oxnard to try the chicken. It tasted as delicious as it looked! Totally worth the drive. The restaurant is small and really colorful. We love the murals. The employees were nice and our food came out quickly and hot. We will definitely be back

Traveling from San Antonio, I knew I had to try this chicken, I’ve seen it all over social media and I had to try it, the chicken did not disappoint, the fries were nice and crispy and perfectly seasoned, the Mac and cheese was good too but lacked a little flavor, but when you pair it with the chicken and fries it doesn’t matter, the server also gave each person at the table an Oreo donut on the house which was really good as well. great food, great experience, would definitely come back,

Great clean store, customer service was very friendly and patient going over options. Chicken was cooked and spice level was on point. I also like the longer bread for sandwiches, so it all fits neatly. Price was adequate for portions. Much better than Dave's. Will stop by again.

Food was really good and fresh! Smash burger was GREAT. I think the food is a bit pricey. The meal shown with an additional ranch and drink was over $30. Definitely a shareable meal, but would definitely go back.

Hot chicken X All About the Cinnamon?! Well this was one to try and honestly I love a good sweet and spicy savory/sweet meal. This one's gotta top all of them! You thought chicken and waffles was good? This meal will blow that out the water! I just got medium on the sandwich but once this collab came out, I knew I had to try it! I still love just my hot chicken sandwiches so I'd have to give this. A 6-6.5/10 for me but I'd definitely get it again! I wish I had a Dr. pepper to wash this down with but now I just have more reason to go back again! I had a friend tell me he gets a lemon pepper sandwich and just made my mouth water! Time to head to Bangin buns soon enough! Appreciate y'all!

Ordered delivery and arrived fairly quickly. The smash burger here is good. Super soft bun! The chicken lacked flavor/seasoning and soggy. My medium spice tender was pretty bare unlike the photos. The banana pudding was pretty good. Not too sweet compared to the Oreo pudding.

This review has been long over due. My little sister came in a few months ago to find out they tipped themselves the maximum option. She returned to ask them how that happened if she did not do that. They gaslit her by saying the computer automatically does that. My sister is a shy sweet girl so just left upset without standing up for herself. The only reason I remembered about this situation was because my friend and I drove by this location just now. She told me the EXACT same thing happened to her except when she confronted the cashier she just stood in silence. The cashier said she did not know how to process a refund so a guy from the back kitchen came out to give her the unsoliticed tip in cash. It just frustrates me because I figured it may have been a mistake and to find out my friend went through the exact same thing . It was obviously intentionally and to treat people as if they were stupid.

Ordered the Mac n cheese fries plate with a medium heat level and it was the perfect amount of spice! The workers there were helpful and nice thankfully. We also tried their hot honey sauce and it was the perfect addition to the fries. Only reason it's getting a 4 is because a small portion of one of the tenders tasted off and was not appealing. Will definitely be coming back though

Stopped by for lunch, the place was very nice and fresh with AC, which is nice in this heat! I placed an order for pick up , was ready as soon as I arrived. decided to eat there! I ordered a sandwich, it came with fries , pickles, and coleslaw.I chose the mild as I'm not big on spice and it wasn't spicy at all , I think next time I'll try the medium heat option! Chicken was very delicious and not dry at all! Fries were very good aswell! The only thing I'd change is the potion of coleslaw it was bearly visible at first I'd thought they forgot it , other than that everything was very tasty ! Give it a try don't be afraid if you don't like spicy food because there is options of burgers too , I'll have to try soon !

2024/07/19 Update: I noticed the prices have gone up a little so I posted the latest Menu and prices. The food and service remains the same. Excellent. Tho the fries in the tender plate seems less than the portion I got from the first time I ordered it.

Good service and casual ambience. Ordering was not a problem in the slightest. However, the chicken fell flat. I had come in after seeing what looked like an amazing ad on Instagram, but unfortunately I felt that the quality was just not there. It was decent value, but not one of my favorites

Food is bomb. The customer service was good too. It's as if they really want and hope you like it. No issue when asking for extra sauce, accommodating without nickle and diming.

Was hungry and in the area so I decided to try this out and ordered take out. Everything on the menu looked really good, but I ended up with the banging plate - which is 2 chicken sandwiches and fries. Wow, off of first impressions when I got my food - the chicken was huge, juicy and that SAUCE. I don't know what's in there but it stole the show! I mean to the point I was dipping the fries in it! And their fries?!! Crispy and thin, seasoned perfectly. Whoever is working the frier knows what they're doing haha Food actually exceeded my expectations. It's simple, it's fast, and it's good. I'm definitely coming back to try the other items on the menu

First time trying this gem, I order the tender (Medium & Mild) and slider that comes with fries and the bangin sauce . 9/10 my only thing was the chicken was dry but the flavor was amazing. Fries were delicious and the bangin sauce just gives it the extra flavor. I also ordered the Banana pudding.. ufff haven't had good banana pudding in a while. 10/ 10 on flavor, only thing is the banana pudding... for a very small container if $6!!!(Insane) when you can get the same size from Magnolia Bakery for under $5.. If the banan pudding was in a bigger container and worht the $6 and the chicken wasnt dry i would have gave it 5 stars

I ordered the chicken tender and smash burger combo, and both were delicious! Being a fan of Dave's Hot Chicken, I was pleasantly surprised at how close the flavors came. The real standout for me, though, was the smash burger--it had everything you'd want in a burger, and it was delightfully messy and fun to eat. The fries were also fantastic, with a perfectly crispy texture. Overall, a great meal!

My favorite order here is the smash burger and chicken tender with fries. I have never been to the store front and only ever ordered the food for delivery which is why the service and atmosphere are rated at 3, I just haven't experienced it. For a place known for their chicken, they have one of my favorite smash burgers, I highly recommend giving it a try if you like burgers. Their chicken is obviously so good, this is the fried chicken restaurant I have ordered from the most, by a long shot, I just can't get enough. Their fries are pretty good, in a generally usual and expected capacity, it's a side you get and you can eat it and be satisfied, I dip the fries in their sauce which is provided with the order. I have ordered from here many many times over the past few years and expect to order from here many more times in the future.

If you're thinking about going, do yourself a favor and JUST GO drive to this place at least once a week and i live in weho because ITS THAT GOOD. Found this place because of Trisha Paytas and I'm so grateful because the food is amazing i'm truly hooked. Can't wait for them to make an official mac and fries plate with rice and name it the trisha plate . The service is always top notch all the workers are very kind and I got to meet one of the owners G I believe his name was today and he was so kind and excited when i mentioned Trish. You could name the Trisha plate "The Trisha Playtus" They just started doing donuts baked fresh every day and they are so delicious and you can't pass up on the famous banana pudding it's better than magnolia bakeries!!! also have to note the value you get for what you pay for here. nowadays i spend the same amount at fast food like places like mcdonald's and taco bell and don't get as filled as i do with bangin buns and the quality definitely exceeds beyond expectations.

The chicken was incredible!! Bri was so nice to us.. The overall vibe was great bathrooms were clean. Food was banging my friend got to try the banging sauce and he was crying. Would definitely come back here again

The smash burger was average with a little gamy taste. The tender had a scaly, crumbling coat, not enough juicy inside and with spotty coating of the spices powder. The sauce was good but a little watery.

The food quality is good and the service was fast. I hope they keep this place clean constantly and fix what is broken fast or it will be a downhill for them fast! I'm impressed with the food

I'm giving this place a 4.5 stars only because the fries were extra salty , but I'm sure I could easily ask for fry seasoning on the side . No one really knows they serve smash burgers yet . It's a new menu item and in my opinion one of the best smash burgers / burgers in general I've ever had . It comes with grilled onions , pickles , cheese and 2 patty's . Everything is made to order and fresh . I'm grateful this place hasn't gone viral yet for its smash burger because I'm sure the line would be out the door and a long wait . The inside is a cool vibe with a few tables to sit and eat with nice art on the walls . Friendly cashier as well . Anytime I want a burger this is where I will go . This is also my favorite chicken sandwich spot .

All good on my first try here ! They made my burger well done as requested , and put all the necessary condiments and utensils in the bag - nice ! My side of slaw was above average, as was the dessert - I shall return !!

Tried out Bangin Buns today for delivery. Chicken and smash burgers were packed right, but the smash burger was a bit too salty and kinda bland. Chicken tenders? Just alright, had better. BUT that 2-for-1 deal hit different...super solid value! Overall, not bad, but they could step it up a bit.

I have to keep it honest and in perspective. This place is mid. The sauce is the worst sauce I've had at a hot chicken place. It doesn't really feel like a hot chicken sandwich. The chicken flavor is decent but like I said the sauce ruins it for me. It's almost like a thousand island dressing instead of the traditional hot chicken sandwich sauce like Dave's. Speaking of Dave's just go to Dave's instead of coming here. If you want spicy make sure to go bangin or bangin plus because the medium and hot spice levels are lower than average

They totally live up to the hype! I've been following them on Instagram for a while and finally got to go on our visit to LA in January. Ordered bangin fries and hot chicken breakfast burrito and both were amazing. Medium spicy was a little too spicy for my taste but it didn't stop me from eating, and my husband loved it. Service was quick! Way to go Bangin Buns!

We ordered two smash burgers with tender and fries and two lemonades! Where are the two drinks? The driver said he did not know?? Obviously, not in the bag! He says they told him the drinks were in the bag, no you could tell they were not in the bag. waste of time and money. The driver and this place are a joke! Why bring food half ass and missing items!!! Then you cannot even call?!

Got the smashburger+sandwich. Looked really good Fries were seasoned perfect and cooked perfect. Alittle crispy on the outside, faint heat, alittle salty and fluffy or crispy inside. The smashburger was okay. Good meaty/shortrib flavor but It needed some ketchup but that just might be my preference. It was also not that crispy which was what I thought it was going to be. (-0.5) The chicken sandwich was the best. I got the mild spice level. Flavor on the chicken was phenomenal and it was still crispy. Alittle bit of that sauce with the sandwich went perfect. The pickles were nice but I did not get that much coleslaw in my sandwich which was a let down. (-0.5) I think this made my sandwich alittle too sour at times as the pickles werent evenly distributed and clumped up at times and lack of slaw. I will get just the tenders next time or slaw on the side. Overall, chicken was the best and I'd come back again 4/5

This place is FIRE!!! I have tried a lot of hot chicken spots in the valley and this is my new go to. Walking in the vibes are there, great ambience and the cashier guy was super friendly. We checked in on Yelp for a FREE drink and this strawberry lemonade was BOMB!!! I would literally go back here just for the lemonade haha. Now for the food, I got the tender + sandwich plate spicy level Hot. If you enjoy spicy things this is def a good heat level to get. The chicken was spiced to perfection & tasty on the inside. I ordered an extra sauce because of how fire it was. You definitely want to add this spot on your list!!

Great chicken place!! Loved how they opened late for late night munchies. I will get more slaws next time to cool down the spiciness. Service was great too, they recommended good choices, and couldn't go wrong with them. Definitely worth stopping by this place if you are around the area.

I have always come here the food is very tasty a bit pricey but worth it . Until today I will never go back . All because of one employee I didnt get his name , I guess they don't have name tags . Dude had a long line and he was texting on his phone for like 15 minutes ignoring all the customers . I saw a few people leave . Also the guy was trying to fight a customer apparently over a wrong order . Not sure who hired this inconsiderate prick and for sure loosing customers over his lack of professionalism and or misconduct. I Will never go back . Time to go to Nashville or clucking chicken instead

The food wasn't bad, but this white shard (plastic? it's very hard) was in my burger. I didn't enjoy biting into that. When I went to pick up the order, the guy behind the counter was ignoring me on his phone, so idk if they just don't really care lol. Mistakes happen, so I gave 2 stars.

Whoever worked on Sept 16 at 4:30 the service was amazing, she really hooked us up and had a great attitude Besides that the food was so damn good and the portions were great

SO GOOD! Definitely the best of the "hot chicken" places I've tried. The bread they use is delicious and not dry. Their chicken has the perfect crunch and tenderness and their sauces are delicious! Also the vibes inside are super cute and have a 90s feel IMO. It is usually busy but not more than a 5 min wait to order. The wait for food is not the fastest but also doesn't take too long and it is definitely worth the wait. I love that their sandwiches are not super greasy - also their fries are really good and flavorful! 10/10 recommend

Hours say 1130pm. I walk into the location at 1059pm. The employee was like "We are closed" As ppl were still hanging out. Which I understand can happen. But when I politely ask if there hours had change to 11pm on Sat she quickly respond with we are out of everything. I replied a like smirk ( understand not the best way to reply but I was caught off guard) "your out of EVERything!?" With a frustrated voice , " yes everything!!" Then walked away. A1 service.

F this place very bad service and the guy that was there FN rude and the food not good as well. Had better as well. Dave's chicken much better. Just remember your customers are the ones that makes your business, not the way you act with a big headed attitude. Once again not good and won't recommend.

Always hits the spot. Never tooooo busy. I can get in and get out with ease. Decent parking. Staff is always friendly. Just found out they're now serving smash burgers too!

Literally the best hot chicken been coming here since they first started in the parking lot and been coming for years. The staff is friendly and the environment is great as well. Would hella recommend this place and plus the food is very good.

The food portions were really big, I was able to eat my food for lunch and dinner. I enjoyed everything I ordered, and they were accommodating when I asked for my coleslaw and pickles on the side. Also, when I went, their fountain drinks weren't the best so I asked if I could just exchange it for a canned soda and they were very nice about it. There wasn't too many seating areas so if it was busier when I came, I probably would have struggled to find a place to sit, but other than that, the place is really pretty.

I ordered the 3 tenders plate, it is pretty good and the chicken is flavorful and has a good consistency. However,sitting down and eating there is not pleasant. The music is so loud you can't even hear your friends talking to you, and the staff there is very unfriendly. If you promote a free drink with check in you should honor it without a hassle.

Removed previous review update with continued better experiences... Finally hand cut fries!! I was beginning to think that all these chicken joints opening up were going frozen and lazy. I swear the food speaks for itself. These places get so wrapped up in advertising online adding color to their photos that they stop caring about the ingredients as long as it's Instagram pretty. When I ordered Bangin' Buns with Door Dash, I had no idea it was fresh cut fries, but at first bite, I knew exactly. That was about a week ago until I ordered the same thing today and then had to go on their website to confirm. Its such an inexpensive add-on, but tastes so much better, I don't understand why other places don't do make fresh cut fries. My hats off to you! Forget all the other joints, I'm a customer here for good! They got some delicious chicken and needless to say, one can infer a lot about the quality of ingredients used just by the fresh potatoes on the menu instead of store bought frozen, crinkle cut or shoestring fries you get at all the other chicken joints. Bangin Buns sandwiches sit on a nice sweet french roll bun, with perfectly sized tenders, and sweet and tangy cole slaw, pickles, and sauce that creates the best bang of flavor. At a price that's competitive with all the other joints, I don't see any reason people would go elsewhere! Huge kudos for being the first and only spot (that I know of) that uses fresh ingredients! I'd be making huge recommendations to my followers to visit this spot and be WOW'd like I was! The food flavor speaks for itself! I'm looking forward to dining in soon to check out the cool looking atmosphere from these pictures.

I've been following their IG for a while and their videos always looked super yummy so finally made the time and effort to drive to the valley from Santa Clarita to try it. My husband and I were not disappointed. I got the Bangin plate and he got the breakfast burrito. It was delicious. We enjoyed every bite. The gentleman who waited on us was kind and courteous. We will definitely be back.

We were in the area and looking for late night grub :) The late hours are definitely a good thing. As far as the food, the chicken was good, and the fries were nothing special. What made the food flavorful were the sauces. I was a fan of the nacho cheese. Mmm.... Banana pudding was good. I'd get it again if I was craving dessert We finished our dinner a little past 10pm, (Wednesday) and the trash can next to the exit was overflowing, which made an unpleasant experience when throwing my garbage away. Service: There was one gentlemen up front, didn't see a smile from him, sadly, BUT he was helpful w whatever I needed. I'd come back for more chicken and cheese :)

First time here at the new place in LA, it was delicious and I definitely would recommend if you enjoy Nashville Hot Chicken. Service was quick and there was no line since it's new but it was great. Ambiance was calm and not as busy as I'd expect.
