Great location. Food tasted good. We wanted to dine outside but told no available. The inside dining area was dark. We feel isolated. No printed menu; just QR code taped on the table. There’s a hint of sewer smell in the air, which was really strong in the opposite side of the building. I was gonna give them 3 stars, but the food is really good. The crispy flounder was a bit spicy hot for me. Not sure if the sweet and spicy sauce complemented the fish, but still tasted good. My tongue reacted to the dish for some reason. Not sure what, maybe fish sauce. I also get that when eating strawberries and cantaloupes. The reaction was not that bad though. Everything else was good. I’ll be back, but not indoor seating; it’s dark and lonely there.

Great service and very friendly and cordial staff! Ordered steamed shrimp dumplings and crispy chives dumplings. Both a hit! Mango sticky rice and the Fred rothi dessert were good too. My friend also loved her assorted dumplings/ appetizer dish. Highly recommend.

Super amazing food. Lot of variety in dumplings. Their dumplings platter is a perfect dish if you want to try almost everything. My favorite was winter squash and mushroom dumplings. We had drunken noodles and pineapple fried rice which was just the way We like. And the customer service was nice too. Would love to visit this place again and try out other dishes for sure.

Great food and location with a couple of outdoor seating arrangements. Crispy chive dumplings were my favorite. Mushroom & ginger dumplings were tasty too. The green & panang curries were wonderful. I took away one star for the service…. For it was slow, it was a Saturday evening!

The location is fantastic at GeorgeTown. Easy access and parking is very close. The food was delicious. However the service was slow. If you order draft beer, that usually should come within minutes but it took us 20min and a reminder to get the beer! Perhaps the weekend rush? But I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will visit again. The entire area is worth a visit!

Bangkok Joe's is a great restaurant hidden in a corner on the Georgetown waterfront. We were able to be seated very quickly on a Sunday afternoon with very little to no crowd. As a dumpling lover, started out with the assorted dumplings and added the lobster shrimp. Note - no subs allowed. All were good except Winter Squash that just wasn't my flavor. Thankfully I had some delicious Ginger-lemon iced tea to help wash it down. Definitely taste the ginger. Then for entrees, we had the Pineapple Fried Rice and the General Tso's Fried Shrimp. Both dishes were delectable. Too full to have dessert. The only bad part of the experience was having to get our waiter's attention throughout the dining experience, especially when there was only 1 other table to be waited on other than us. Still go check em out!

Tried this place on Friday night and it wasn’t that great to be honest. The dishes were basic and not seasoned well in my opinion. The lighting was super dim and it was hard to see inside the restaurant. The service was nice and prompt. No wait but yeah the food and vibe was disappointing to my boyfriend and I. I would not personally eat here again.

Food is really flavorful and authentic, lunch prices are extremely reasonable (Everything is around $10) and portions are great. Highly recommend. Ambiance is great as well. Best dumplings and mango sticky rice I’ve ever had!!
