Highlights

Banh cuon Luu Luyen specializes in paper thin rice sheets made fresh in house. We spin each rice sheet with a feather like touch, it is harder to make than it looks. The thinner the sheets the more delicate they come out. Make sure to take a look at the kitchen when you come by. We have an open window to display the way traditional banh cuon is made.

"Banh Cuon Luu Luyen is located in a nondescript corner toward the back of the Diamond Plaza Business Center. (Look for the line of cars waiting to pick up to-go orders.) Banh cuon are delicate sheets of steamed rice noodles wrapped with various fillings. Order the platter with an assortment of rice sheets with scrambled egg, ground pork and mushroom, served with crispy egg rolls, mung bean shrimp bread, a bologna-like slice of ham, tofu, vegetables, and fried shallots. It’s the best way to experience a little bit of everything. The most popular rolls are the bánh cuốn thịt nướng stuffed with grilled pork marinated in a lemongrass-soy sauce and green vegetables. Tables are topped with glass mason jars filled with homemade fish sauce. Combine a small ladle or two with the spicy red chili sambal. What to order: Bánh cuốn thịt nướng (Grilled pork and vegetable rice paper roll)" - Jenn Tanaka

Google
Small place accommodates about 20-30 tightly. Banh cuon was well portioned and well priced. Most importantly it came out super fresh within 5 minutes after the wait staff took orders. The wait staff was nice and patient. The place was packed during lunch hour on weekend so expect a wait. The not so good - the restroom can be hazardous as half of the space was used for storage but managon the weekend

Google
supremely decent Vietnamese eat. however, I am not native enough for this offering, no lavo. I have desire to partake in the cultural aspect of these dishes, I long reach such level of understanding. bun rieu, the tomato paste soup was quite healthy and seafoody, the banh cuon cha ca was a cheor g fun with fried stick, and banh duc was not cheong fun but a more flakey rice coconut creation, and the two drinks that were mung bean based included pennywort and pandan both are quite healthy and everything was all around. definitely nutritional but little too legit for me

Google
Love this new discovery. Super authentic Banh Cuon which is typically breakfast food in Vietnam. They do it legit. Glad we came.

Bánh Cuốn Lưu Luyến is truly a gem for lovers of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. It’s a small, unassuming spot, but the food speaks volumes about the care and quality they put into their dishes. Their bánh cuốn (steamed rice rolls) is phenomenal—the rice sheets are thin, soft, and perfectly textured. My personal favorite is the Bánh Cuốn Thịt Nướng, which features lemongrass grilled pork paired with fresh veggies and their signature fish sauce. Speaking of the fish sauce, it’s exceptional and complements every bite beautifully. The portions are generous and reasonably priced (around $12 per dish), and everything feels fresh and well-prepared. Other standouts include the mung bean cakes, which are moist and flavorful (a pleasant surprise for me since I don’t usually enjoy mung bean cakes). The bánh bèo is also a winner, with a generous topping of mung bean. The food court-style seating and small parking lot might be a slight drawback, but the friendly service and amazing food make up for it. Whether you’re a long-time fan of Vietnamese food or just curious to try bánh cuốn, this place is worth visiting. Highly recommend supporting this small business—you won’t regret it!

Google
Pretty good place for lunch! Came here recently Sunday and it was packed—the restaurant is very small so there was a wait especially for a big table. Recommend the Bánh Cuốn Đặc Biệt, which is the pork, shrimp and plain rice sheet combination platter that comes with several different food to try! The Bánh Tôm Cổ Ngư (shrimp and sweet potato fritter) was good, pretty crunchy too. Bánh Cuốn Thịt Nướng (grilled pork and veggies rice paper roll) was okay. We tried the Nem Chua Heo (fermented pork)—was not a fan. Wanted to try the Shrimp Rocket but they didn’t have it available that day.

Google
Frist time here but we loved it. Food was so delicious and the restaurant is so clean. They gave us a small bowl to share food even we were not asking for that. Definitely coming back 👍🏻

Google
Overwhelmingly average. Food was ok. Made fresh but not particularly tasty (the shrimp banh cuon and the fried tofu on top were particularly tasteless and not enjoyable). The cha lua and the pork banh cuon were good. The sauce was too bland and there weren’t enough herbs with the veggies. Service was ok but utterly charmless. The space is ok. Overall everything was just so blah. We only ended up here because our favorite banh cuon place was as closed for remodeling. Originally I rated everything 3 stars but I just took a star off the food because I have a stomach ache half an hour after eating there.

Yelp
Small Vietnamese restaurant that serves Banh Cuon, aka rice sheets stuffed with ground pork or shrimp. I ordered #1 which came with plain, shrimp, & pork rice sheets, fried tofu, cha lua, mung bean cake, blanched beansprouts, egg roll, and fried onions sprinkled on top. Everything came out fast! If I come back again I would order just the pork rice sheets as I wasn't too fond of the ground shrimp; it was too gritty for my liking. Overall food was delicious and I was STUFFED. I also liked how fish sauce and chilies were available at each table so you can customize the sauce to your preferred level of spiciness.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
I've had Chinese steamed rice rolls, but this was my first time having Banh Cuon, so I didn't really know what to expect. I got #3 rice sheets with pork and shrimp and #11 pork rice rolls. I thought the texture was good. The rice paper was very fresh and the sheets stuffed with pork and shrimp paste (even though it was advertised as shrimp) was very interesting. The rice rolls were tricky to handle. They weren't sliced all the way through so tearing the rice paper made the sliced rolls fall apart. But for the taste, I thought it was just alright. They were not rich in aromatics like pho and spring rolls, both of which I really love. The fish sauce was kind of weak too. I think I would have liked if they had more sauce options available. For the prices, I thought the portions were very generous, and for two people it was very filling. I got here at about 10am on a Sunday and was seated right away, but by the time it was 10:30am it was at max capacity.

Daniel H.

Yelp
Parking was limited and apparently the lady at the coffee shop in the adjacent building had problems with people parking on that side of the parking lot so be careful where you park. Anyways, we came here for brunch and this place was busy as well as cozy. We ordered the #3 nhan thit and nhan tom (half shrimp and half pork), the #5 nhan thit (pork rice sheets), and three nem chua heo (fermented pork). The food came out after a few minutes. The nhan thit was delicious and the portion was enough for one person. I didn't try the others but just the #5 and I would recommend it. Good food here and I would come back to eat more!

Yelp
A small Vietnamese restaurant located on the outside area of what I would describe as a small business park (I think I came in at an entrance that made it a little hard for me to find this place at first - no biggie). They specialize in banh cuon or layers of rice sheets layered with meats if wanted and topped with aromatics and veggies (and served with Viet pork sausage on the side if desired). This is eaten with a fish sauce based dip. I love this dish, but it's hard for me to find this on the menu in the area where I live. I guess I would describe it as a cross between savory pancakes and lasagna (?). If you are unfamiliar, I would say this place is an excellent representation of this dish and I'm a huge fan. When I came in I was seated promptly and they were ready to take my order right away. I've been eating this all my life, but am not able to get it too often so I suffered from a little indecisiveness, but went with the #1 Dac Biet Banh Cuon - I figured it would cover all the stuff I want with it. Chili and sauce is provided at the table and you can mix to your spice level liking. Just really delicious and the prices are very reasonable. On the way to the bathroom, I was even able to get a glimpse of them making the banh cuon. Very cool. It seemed like a lot of the other businesses were closed on the weekend, so I was able to find parking in the lot very easily.

Abbie N.

Yelp
We came on Saturday and it was only a 15 min wait for a table for 2. I ordered the #1 and it was so much good, very filling and a great price. We also ordered the sweet potato and shrimp and loved it. I will definitely come back in the future. They accept card and Apple Pay which is a plus.

Mai V.

Yelp
This place consistently serves high quality fresh made to order traditional banh cuon dishes. They always provide quick friendly efficiently service. It's a small space with tightly packed tables and seating but always clean. The #5 combo platter is my favorite and go-to order here and it never disappoints!

Katherine S.

Yelp
We were gonna go to our usual place for banh cuon but they closed on Thursday so my sister recommended this place instead. So we went and omg, we're not going back to our usual place lol. This is our new go-to place for banh cuon. Foods are legit and delicious. Service was excellent. The staff were attentive and friendly. Ample parking space is a huge plus for us. We will definitely come back soon to try other foods.

Yelp
Absolutely loved this place! I wanted to try a little bit of everything but I was warned by my friends that they give very generous portions. I definitely took it as a challenge still. I ordered the number special that came with a little bit of everything, pork, dried shrimp, and plain, I also got the fermented pork cubes and this was solid as well, and lastly I got the grilled pork and veggies rice paper roll. Combo Special- Loved every bite of it. The sauce on the table coupled with the chili paste was out of this world. Rice paper was silky smooth and you could just slurp it up no problem. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water. Fermented pork - Absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop popping these in my mouth. It wasn't too salty, and had a lot of garlic flavor, partially because there is a giant piece of garlic on top and a piece of jalapeno as well. The jalapeno gave it a nice little kick. Meat was tender and oh so delicious. Grilled pork and veggies roll- Delicious! It sort of reminded me of the dim sum rice noodle rolls. Texture was on point. The veggies added a nice crispy element to the soft and silk rice paper. Pork was nicely grilled and was hittin' the taste buds nicely. Super solid spot.

Yelp
This is one of my go to places for Banh Cuon because it has good portions, good appetizers, and it's easy to access. What I mean by that is there's tons of parking, it's not hard to find and there's a decent chunk of seats. There aren't that many tables for huge groups (8+) though. HOWEVER, if you're going on the weekend it is poppin' so send a delegate to grab a table. For me, I love the banh cuon thit. It's a classic and I like that every plate has a bunch of toppings such as cha, eggrolls, and much more. If I'm with a group or really craving it, I get their Banh Tom Chien. It's never failed me before.

Audrey L.

Yelp
Super fast service. I've never had this type of meal before so I got the mix platter. It looks like a lot and it was but it was a light meal. You just mix your fish sauce, dip and eat. The restaurant looks like a mom and pop, overflowing tables and open storage in the back so it's not pretty but the food is good. Lots of parking outside and they cycle people pretty fast. It's a quick meal! Try it!

Susan G.

Yelp
Finally got to try this place after passing by so many times! There seems to always be a wait for this place especially on the weekends but I would say it is definitely worth it! I tried their #1 banh cuon combo and it was DELICIOUS! It is definitely my favorite item from this place! I really wanted to try their mung bean pandan milk tea but unfortunately they were sold out so I opted for their green milk tea instead which was pretty good. There's plenty of parking but the restaurant itself is pretty small.

Sue L.

Yelp
Been coming here whenever I visited Southern California. Best bánh cuốn. Specially the nem chua is the best.

Kevin J.

Yelp
This is absolutely my go to place for rice sheet rolls when it comes to Orange County. I've had a few other places, but they just don't compare to this one. I usually order a number one combination rice roll and this last time I tried a number 11. Both of them are filled with meat, and the rice sheet itself is soft and fluffy. The portions are also very generous, and the staff is friendly from my both encounters ordering at the front door. The restaurant itself is not very big so I'm not sure if I'll ever eat in, but this place is so good that I don't need to eat in. Both dishes are around $12-$13 which is a steal these days with all the higher food prices. I'll continue to come here whenever I'm in the area. The next time I might try something different, but I'll always consistently order number one.

Lisa T.

Yelp
PARKING (4/5): There is a lot they share with the plaza, it does get really busy but you can also park on the street or in the lot next door on weekends (I think) because the other business aren't open on weekends AMBIANCE (3/5): They have about 6 small (2 people) tables and 3 large tables (6-8 people). It's quick & casual. FOOD (4/5): $5 VIETNAMESE COFFEE (iced coffee with condensed milk) its strong & I love it! $12 BANH CUON THIT NUONG (#11 on the menu): grilled pork and veggies rice paper roll. I finished this my myself and it was the perfect size. Delicious!

Derek S.

Yelp
Came by for lunch the other day and it was a decent experience. Parking was plentiful in the plaza. There was a slight wait for a table during the peak lunch hour. Service by the staff was quick and efficient. Some staff opted to wear a mask and gloves. Started off with the iced Vietnamese coffee and it was decent. It had a faint chicory flavor as an added touch. The #5 pork Banh Cuon was decent. It came out lukewarm along with a ton of toppings like fried garlic, meat loaf, fish cake, egg roll, and bean sprout salad. I found the banh Cuon a touch bland. There was an entire jug of fish sauce and hot sauce at the table to complement the banh Cuon. $20/head after tax and gratuity. Tip suggestions start at 15% after tax

Sabrina L.

Yelp
This is such an amazing authentic spot! The food is delicious and you really get a great food experience. Me and my family love the meat and all the toppings it comes with. The space is a bit small so sometimes there can be a longer wait. But overall such a great place to get an underrated Vietnamese dish!

Toshi I.

Yelp
I really craved Banh Cuon which sadly doesn't appear on any menus here in the South Bay, so my fellow foodie joined me on a culinary adventure in the Westminster/Garden Grove area for Vietnamese cuisine. It didn't take too much to convince her since we were in the area. I found BC Luu Luyen on Yelp but didn't realize until later that I had seen some IG posts about this place as well. Located in what looks like a corporate park rather than a strip mall, it appears very utilitarian both on the exterior as well as the interior. Seeing the clientele, I knew this was going to not only be authentic but very good as well with the tables turning fairly quickly. We gave our name and in minutes, we were seated. The menu was straightforward with great pics and I ordered the Banh Cuon #1 which was so good! Bean sprouts, crunchy bits (?), lettuce to wrap it all up and yummy fish sauce for dipping. Really each entree had slight variations so n you couldn't go wrong. I love the unique rice sheets here because they are almost like ravioli. There was a tiny bit of filling inside the sheet which reminded me of a steamed wonton. I also ordered the shrimp and sweet potato appetizer to share. Delicious but really the main dish was more than enough. Plenty of parking in the lot. I will definitely come back again!

Sue Z.

Yelp
recommend this place !! Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a party of 8. You have to put your name down and just wait within the vicinity for them to call your name since it's a small mom and pop shop. I got the combination banh cuon so you get a bit of everything to try. They did mention that they ran out of tofu so substituted with more meat instead. It was sooo silly and smooth and only about $12 for the dish which is a bargain! The shrimp and sweet potato fritters was also a nice appetizer to share with my party. Definitely give this place a try if you like banh cuon!

Adilene R.

Yelp
The amount of times I have returned here is unreal! I always do to go but it is consistent & the price is great for everything you are getting. I have never been disappointed & it is just so good! Will continue returning!

Phuong Dung N.

Yelp
They make banh cuon just like how people do in Vietnam!!! Service was quick and the place seemed clean. Their banh tom ho tay was...not good tho so. I wouldnt even call it banh tom to be honest. It's more like two fried shimps on top of fried sweet potato sticks. So this review is for banh cuon only bc it's their specialty.

Christine H.

Yelp
I was looking for somewhere that had a good bun thit nuong and stumbled upon this little gem. I'm surprised I haven't heard of this place, but I'm so glad I found it because their food was amazing and fresh. My friend and I both got the bun thit nuong and although the dish is simple to make, I think it was on the better end of the ones I've tried. The meat was super flavorful and it was packed with fresh veggies. There was also an egg roll in there that was also yummy. I was struggling to finish it because of how much food they give you. I love how the dish also doesn't make me feel greasy or unhealthy. I'd definitely come back to try their banh cuon. There was plenty of parking and we were seated pretty quickly on a Friday. The staff is also really nice and gets your order out fast. Cash and credit card accepted!

Jacob W.

Yelp
Get #1-5, my favorite! Drench in fish sauce and/or hot sauce. Many tables, usually busy, easy parking

Maggie P.

Yelp
Banh Cuon is one of my favorite Vietnamese dishes. My mom made a variety of dishes, but I always come back to this simple dish. It rice paper wraps filled with your choice of ground pork and mushroom, shrimp, or nothing! My personal favorite was the ground park. Their rice paper tastes house made, and dare I say, their dipping sauce (fish sauce base with sugar, chilis, etc.) is as good as my moms! (sorry mom). We also really enjoyed the fried shrimp and sweet potatoes. I will definitely be coming back again! Parking is tight, but it's the plaza, not the restaurants fault. The space is a bit small so may not recommend for large groups, however they do cater and you can order to go of course. I don't think you can make a reservation ahead of time, as soon as we got there, we checked in with the hostess to get our name on a list.

Tina A.

Yelp
Update: had take out early in the day and the banh coun dac diet extremely good this time The skin was so thin and delicious and all the fixings were hitting on point! I ate like 1.5 orders and it was better than my last visit Would definitely come back again!

Vy T.

Yelp
Really great food and amount for the price. A small hole in the wall place but worth a try for it. Seats are limited inside fyi.

Connie T.

Yelp
My bestie at work recommended me this place when I ask for a good banh cuon place. I really enjoyed this place. We ordered grill pork Banh cuon and the original pork Banh cuon. We also ordered an appetizer the firecracker shrimp. Service was great but do have to walk up to pay the bill. A small mom and pop shop in an industrial area but have many restaurants near by. Very delicious and hit the spot for me. Would definitely come back to try other things.

Katy C.

Yelp
Nhan Thịt + Nhan Tom (1/2 Pork + 1/2 Shrimp Rice Sheets) Nhan Thịt (Pork Rice Sheets) x 2 * our table practically drank all the fish sauce so having a giant mason jar of it at each table was a plus! (highly recommend drenching each rice sheet before eating, sauce was on the sweeter side and lacked acidity) * topped with an egg roll, cha lua (steamed bologna), fried tofu (unseasoned), fried onions, banh cong (mung bean shrimp fried cake), and steamed bean sprouts * rice sheets are delicate, thin, and freshly steamed Nem Chua Bo (Fermented Beef) x 5 * topped with a slice of garlic and chile * addicting bite-sized cured beef that was tangy and salty * must-try! * closes early and is always bustling with customers (have to join waitlist in-person) but definitely worth the wait * friendly and quick service * very reasonable prices for filling portions 10/10

Karen V.

Yelp
I grew up going to banh cuon tay ho as a kid but this is my new favorite spot! Their portions are huge and the price is very reasonable! I really love the mung bean fried balls as well. It's exclusively where I eat my banh cuon now!

Nichole P.

Yelp
Went here last week for the first time. It was in a little corner surrounded by businesses. We were greeted right away and asked if we were ready to order. We asked for a few minutes and was left alone for a bit. I got the #1 combo. It came with plain banh cuon, meat, and shrimp. Since it was my first time, I wanted to try it all. My friend got #2, which is plain and meat since she didn't know if she would like the shrimp one. Everything was really good. Banh cuon was a little on the thicker side, but that doesn't bother me. The sweet potatoes were good. Not too greasy. I appreciate the mason jar of fish sauce on the table so you definitely don't have to ask for more. I also for 2 orders to go and they were made quickly and accurately. My mom complained about not enough cha since you only get 2 pieces of steamed cha and 2 pieces of fried cha, but I was ok with it. The prices are decent and I'll definitely be back. Bonus points for being so close to my house.

Mike L.

Yelp
One of my main goals to's for banh cuon. Swung by on a Monday morning at 10am. Place was busy, but plenty of seating left. Ordered the banh cuon dac biet. Plate came out quickly and disappeared just as fast. They do a good job. Very decent portion so I left happy and full. Definitely will keep coming back.

Tonny V.

Yelp
Not too big Banh Cuon restaurant. It's located in a big plaza. It gets very busy during weekend morning. They have a few big tables and a few small tables for 2-4 people. I and my family love their banh uot and banh cuon here. We normally order the one with fried fish paste. They are delicious.

Cecile H.

Yelp
I came here on a weekend for lunch and it was crazy packed. Since the restaurant is not that big, there were only a few tables inside and the wait was about an hour or so. I ordered #3 which was half pork and half shrimp rice sheets. It was good and I really enjoyed their shrimp rice filling.

Dan P.

Yelp
My Vietnamese mom would usually order 2lbs bánh cuôn nhân thịt (rice noodle filled with pork) for our family of 5 for breakfast and lunch. This is our family's favorite bánh cuôn shop as the rice noodle is thin and freshly made each morning and there is a lot of that wood ear mushroom + ground pork filling. Filling is definitely more on the savory side and the rice noodles paired well with a spoon of sweet garlic fish sauce drizzled on top. You can also order a roll of their freshly made chá chiên (fried ham) which is, in our opinion, much better than chá lụa (steamed ham in banana leaf). Paired especially well with lightly cooked bean sprouts, herbs, and cucumber. Service - friendly and quick. there is usually a wait in the morning as this is a famous breakfast item in Little Saigon so call in and order ahead for to go. shop is a bit small for dine in so we usually just order and eat at home.

Julia V.

Yelp
Just got #7 togo,my office nearby 2mins drive lol. It was good but nothing too special for me $11 pay cash and they charged tax 97 cents total almost $12,the portion was not too big, overall it was just alright. Maybe I'll be back for something else in the menu if i don't want to prepare lunch my self. The staff girl was nice-helpful,that is the reason i like to be back.

Joann V.

Yelp
3.5 stars I came to this restaurant hoping for a quick lunch and was disappointed that I had to wait 25 minutes. Based on the reviews, I knew it was popular with the locals, but I hadn't realized how popular it actually is. There were many parties before and after me with many to-go orders in between. There is a list that you should add your name to if dining in. I ordered the Banh Cuon Nahn Thit (rice paper rolled with ground pork) and thought it was decent. The rice paper was thin and every bite had a good amount of meat in it. I poked a tiny hole in it to allow maximum absorption of the nuoc mam (fish sauce). The nuoc mam was just ok. As another yelper has pointed out, it is sweeter and missing that acidic touch. The chili had a rich spiciness to it and balanced out the sauce. I was impressed with the portion-to-price ratio. While I can't say that it's the best banh cuon I've had, it was still a solid choice. The service was prompt and polite. The restaurant is small and crammed with tables and chairs. They have a big parking lot with plenty of space to park.

Kat N.

Yelp
Turns out I had this place bookmarked and for good reason, it is delicious and affordable, while still taking card payment. My brother and I shared the Dac Biet/special plate which came with pork, shrimp, and plain rice rolls ($12.99), which we unable to finish and took the remainder to go. The variety of toppings was excellent with two more items than you usually get at other banh cuon restaurants. There was the usual of crispy fried garlic, four pieces of gio, and the bean sprouts with herbs, but they also had tofu and banh Kong. We also ordered iced green tea (and it was definitively green and well brewed), though the cup was a little small, the price was only $1.50. My dad got the bun moc which is rice noodle soup with meatballs, which also had a nice flavor. Noticed on the way out that there is an option to add a side order of the rice rolls with the egg mixed in, which I will definitely make sure to do next time. The waiting staff walked by with a very delicious looking sweet potato topped with shrimp, adding one more item to order on the return visit. Service is a bit slow, but they are very busy and once the food order is in, it comes out pretty quick too!

Linda N.

Yelp
Delicious food, reasonable price and good friendly service! Take out is also quick and easy. Highly recommended!

Christie T.

Yelp
Tasty, affordable, and so much to eat! To beat the crowds, we came at 8:30am for breakfast. Service was friendly and fast. For anyone who isn't familiar with Vietnamese cuisine, the menu has pictures so it is super helpful. Fish sauce and chili oil. So good. Can't get enough of it!

Kevin N.

Yelp
Friend recommended this place so tried it out with her. Came in and got gestured to sit in the booth seat. Inside: Quiet inside other than the Vietnamese movie/show playing behind the counter. It was slow hours so workers were prepping foods or organizing miscellaneous things on empty tables. I did notice each table had their own fish sauce jar with a ladle in it. The jar wasn't covered which I'm sure is a health code violation cuz bugs or dust can get in it. I didn't care though because that's when you know it's legit and sauce tasted bomb with all the extra possible flavors jk, but it did taste good. Bathrooms are a little dirty. Menu: The menu was easy to understand and had pictures. Food: I ordered the combo 1/2 pork 1/2 shrimp banh Cuon and it was delicious. Service: Friendly workers. Overall I would go back. None of those other things really mattered, what I ordered was delicious.

Sarina L.

Yelp
My friend recommended me this place as a hole in the wall banh cuon place and I'm in love! I never thought I'd love banh cuon until eating at this restaurant. Not only is the food good, it's affordable, no crazy wait and plenty of parking! Service is always amazing and I can feel the love in all the food they make. My go to order is always any of the banh cuon and a bowl of bun rieu to share. Two dishes can stuff 2 people under the price of $30... I'll always be here for lunch if I could

Randy T.

Yelp
Happened upon this place by a recommendation from a friend. I got there and was told there would be a 30-45 min wait for a table. I was fine with that because I wanted to check out their Banh Cuon. I ordered the #1 Dac Biet which had a Combo of Pork, Shrimp, and Plain Rice Sheet. It comes with an egg roll, steamed ham, fried ham, tofu, mung bean shrimp cake, mixed veggies, and fried shallots. This is definitely the plate to get. I had never had Banh Cuon that was flat before so it definitely was a treat. I poured some fish sauce over the plate and devoured the whole thing. I also got a side of the Banh Tom Co Ngu which is the Shrimp & Sweet Potato Fritters. I love these in general and they make a great version of them. The shrimp is quite large and the sweet potato sticks are perfectly fried to a nice golden brown. Looking forward to making another visit soon!

Yelp
Loveeee this place! Their noodles are so thin but chewy. The filling is well flavored and perfect with the fish sauce. We ordered the #5, #11, and sweet potato and shrimp fritter to share for three people. The portions were big and filled us up. Everything was delicious. I love their pandan mung bean milk tea as well. The pandan flavor is strong and it's smooth with the mung bean. 5/5 rating for everything! Definitely recommend! Lots of people here for takeout and dine-in. Be aware that there's a small lunch rush but the service is great with friendly staff.

Yelp
Made a special trip to check out this modest diner known for making rice sheets fresh to order. Arrived at 10:30am on a a Sunday and their famous lines had not started yet. Portions were large and the rice sheets were tender and slippery. Both the pork rice rolls and the grilled pork rolls were tasty. Their fish sauce has a little kick to it, I would have preferred no heat. I wished the grilled pork rolls didn't have bean sprouts and were cut all the way through to make it easier to eat. And gotta admit--was craving a little soy sauce to drizzle on since they remind so much of Chinese steamed rice rolls. A satisfyingly different genre of rice roll. Service was friendly and efficient. My walk up togo order had a wait of 20 minutes and was very well packaged for travel.

Yelp
I wanted to see why this restaurant always had a long line out the door, so my friend and I dropped by for brekky. Staff immediately seated us in a cozy dining room. However, I froze in ick when I visited the restroom - it could use a thorough cleaning. With a warm smile, a worker recommended banh cuon dac biet, bun rieu, and banh cuon thit nuong. Food was alright! Egg rolls: Crunchy, plain. Banh cuon dac biet: A sampler plate with plain, pork + mushroom, and shrimp rice sheets. The best thing on this plate was actually the crispy mung bean fritters! Banh cuon thit nuong: Dry pork. Each table had a mason jar of cold nuoc mam, so I drowned everything in sauce! Otherwise, nothing really stood out in flavor or texture. I might come back to try their bun rieu.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try this place for more than a year, I've been missing out! There was a 5-10 minute wait when I went, they only have about 8 tables inside, it gets tricky when some bigger groups take a longer time to finish. However, whatever the wait time is, it is worth it! I ordered the number one, which had everything in it. Every component was yummy. The rice rolls were soft and silky. Don't forget to add a little sambal to your nuoc cham to give it a little kick! Will definitely be back to try the other dishes!

Yelp
Saw this place on ig and it is spot on for their banh cuon. There would be a small line and you have to check in with the front, I was standing in line and some lady cut in front of me, at least the guy at the front switched me and the lady so I went ahead first, 5 star service ! Took about 10 min to get in and after we ordered be aware there is a wait as everything is made fresh, took about maybe 20 min but the food was worth it. If you like thit Nhung get it on the side and just order the shrimp and veggie rolls. Overall the restaurant is very clean and all the utensils and sauce you'll need is at the table. Overall it's really good and the service was on point, thanks ig for the recommendation.

Yelp
This was my first time trying banh cuon so I don't have a baseline, but I really liked this assortment of flavors and textures. The rice sheets are plump and wholly enjoyable on their own (plain) as the perfect accompaniment to the medley of tart, salty, sweet, and savory flavors and meaty, crunchy, and crispy textures also in the dish. The visual arrangement and overall proportion worked well for me.

Yelp
I've been coming here for many years and they have gotten very popular. I arrived on Saturday at 8:45am and there were people already waiting to pick up their catering/to-go orders. There were plenty of tables still available for dine-in. However, when we were done around 9:30am, about 4 more parties had arrived. They are known for their banh cuon but there are several other items on the menu. I got the 1/2 pork and 1/2 shrimp banh cuon order and it was so delicious. It came with cha, beansprouts, cucumbers, fried onion topping, fried tofu, and this special fried pea/flour thing. All of this for $11. I wasn't able to finish it all and took half room for dinner later that night. You can see the cooks in the kitchen making the rice sheets in the back. Freshly made. amazing! No wonder this place is so busy. I wish I lived closer so I could frequent this place more often.

Yelp
Decided to try a highly recommended spot for banh cuon over our usual, and I'd have to say, I'm sticking with our go to. Located in an odd plaza on Euclid. Tucked away in the back corner of the lot is this establishment. Very tight inside, beware for large groups. Ordered over the phone, picked up at the front. They accept Apple Pay which was nice. Food: 3/5, the highlight was the super thin but still chewy rice paper sheets, but everything else fell short. Parking: ample Service: N/A, ordered to go over the phone We might come back to try it in person, but it's 50/50 at this point.

Yelp
Food was still as delicious and plentiful as the last time I came in! The dac biet is the best option if you want to try a little bit of everything. We came in around 2:30 so the line was a lot shorter than last time I came, and as soon as we were seated and ordered, our food came out within 10 min. The banh cuon was very thin and perfect.
