The 13 Best Bánh Mì In San Francisco - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Bánh Mì & Rolls Factory’s baguettes are the reason this Excelsior takeout spot is chronically overflowing with people waiting for a sandwich. They’re baked fresh daily, with a trademark crispy, slightly bubbled shell and an airy chew (if you can’t make it here, they also supply their bread to bánh mì shops all over the Bay). Go for the forearm-sized combo that’s swelled up with headcheese, cold cuts, vegetables, and a generous slick of pâté for some added richness." - lani conway, ricky rodriguez, julia chen 1, patrick wong

If you see this food truck in Nashville, chase it down 🏃‍♀️ Thankfully we didn’t need to, as we found Bahn Mi & Roll Factory amidst food truck Nirvana in Downtown Nashville. We decided to split the Saigonese Bahn Mi & it was delicious. Flavorful pork, pate, cold cuts, fresh jalapeños & Vietnamese style pickled veggies (cucumber, carrots etc) all on a yummy fresh roll. As a bonus, very friendly customer service.

Very good bahn mi! It's actually the only banh mi I've ever had, but it made me want to get more! 5 spice chicken was better than the Pho flavored bahn mi. It was still good, but gave me a vietnamese hamburger vibe, where the chicken tasted brighter, and what i imagined authentic might taste like. The Pho bahn mi came with pho broth. It was pretty dang tasty, with more flavor than many other broths ive tried. Also tried the steamed dumplings, the filling was good, but the wrap was a little too delicate.. then again I'm fond of gyoza with strong dumpling sauce. I can't recommend the 5 spice chicken bahn mi enough.. it was exactly what i was hoping for going in for the first time.

Went to the Country Living Fair at the Wilson County Expo & Ag Center on Saturday. There were several food trucks vying for customers and it was very difficult to decide. I decided to try Banh Mi & Roll Factory featuring Vietnamese foods. Went for the pork Banh Mi sandwich and OMG it was delicious. The flavor of the pork along with the garnish, slaw, aioli made for one heck of a sandwich and the bread…PERFECTION! Even my granddaughter enjoyed a taste! Just love how entrepreneurs with a special talent can bring such incredible flavors of their region everywhere.

Grabbed the Pork Banh Mi from the food truck today in Nashville, excellent stuff! The vegetables I think were the real hero of this sandwich though, while the meat was really good, the vegetables took it to the next level. Also the bun is perfectly soft and the sauce is also nice and rich without being over powering. A+ stuff.

At the Nashville Pride 2024, didn’t get the order right, didn’t confirm the order, didn’t go over options. Meat was overcooked and dried out. Such a shame as really had an expectations that this food was an ideal product for a festival

The Banh Mi was really good that I would have went back for seconds if I wasn't already full. The pork Banh Mi was stuffed with meat and was a really good deal for the price. The Tofu Banh Mi was also extremely tasty and authentic. The Vietnamese coffee was also really well made. Highly recommend!!

Hands down the best bahn mi in town…but be prepared to wait EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I don’t think they look at online orders until you walk in to pick up your food. Then you have to wait another half hour for a sandwich. They are very consistant in taking a good HOUR to get you a sandwich. Ridiculous.
