Banh Mi Huong Que

Truly fantastic banh mi and fresh rolls. Crispy, flaky bread. Delicious, authentic schmear of pâté. Affordable. Amazing. Not a place to sleep on if you're into Vietnamese. And, before I forget, a knock-out iced Vietnamese coffee. What more could one want than such a convergence of deliciousness?

The best banh mi you can find in Boston outside of Dorchester! Highly recommend the lemongrass beef sandwich 😋 easily customizable too on ordering screens (+/- and more or less of mayo, pâté, jalapeños, veggies on the side, etc) the service is always really friendly as well. Not many places where $9 gets you food like this nowadays!

I tried the sandwich again and it's just not flavorful enough for me. I got extra mayo and it doesn't have a lot of mayo in it, the vegetables don't taste marinated at all especially the cucumber. There are much better ones. Nice solid bahn mi! I would say not my absolute favorite ever but the meat was very very flavorful, the bread was super fresh. Personally I would prefer the vegetables have a stronger marinade, and way more Mayo/pate. The pork was good but there were a few fatty bits. Location was nice! They obviously made an effort to make it look nice and they have tap to pay and iPad ordering. Very easy to understand and customizable menu. I would say if you've never had a bahn mi before a place like this is a great place.

This place has come a long way. New space is larger and a bit more modern. Very kind staff and service. Their food and drinks are delicious! I’ve tried and recommend their Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt, Chả Lụa, Mì Gà, Mì Bò. Making it a combo with a drink and spring rolls is such a good deal.

I decided to try this place because my usual banh mi spot raised their prices and quality decreased. I was throughly impressed with this place! I ordered a banh mi cha lua sandwich. It was pretty big sandwich with perfect amount of meat for $8. You can order on a tablet and customize how you want your sandwich then pay with card. It’s mostly takeout but they have a section where you can sit down and eat as well. They are located in Chinatown so highly recommend giving this banh mi place a try.

We ate here 4 years ago and decided to come back — not with high hopes, just expecting something decent for two people. Unfortunately, it was a complete letdown. The food was served cold, and even after asking for it to be reheated, it was still barely warm and totally unappetizing. The ham had a strange, off smell — definitely not stored properly. They even added tomato (also cold?!) which made it worse. The bread wasn’t hot or crunchy like we remembered from the Chinatown version. We paid around $35 for two and couldn’t eat a single bite. Left everything behind. Really disappointing.

Mediocre Vietnamese junk food. To exclude the summer role (yet arrived with watery peanut sauce. Too watery and no taste), the rest were not good enough in our tone. Vegetarian muddled that are a chunk of rice noodles a chunk of lettuce and a role that for sure was not vegetarian and for sure there was no single vegetable inside, and on top the sandwiches were nothing to write home about. Maybe for someone who works in the hospital nearby and the alternative by here is even worst. Not sure where did the good reviews came from.

Small spot with a big heart. Everyone in the kitchen was bustling around to ensure the food was fresh and up to high standards. A solid banh mi, but could have used a little more oomph in all the ingredients. Got the #2 banh mi cha lua, very nostalgic but wish the meat itself had a little more flavor. Same with the pickled veggies, could’ve used a little more time in the brine. The homemade pate and mayo though, were great!! And the bread is super fresh.

Delicious! You place an order on the app and our food came less than 10 minutes later. The banh mi was huge for the price, more than enough food. A little spicy, well seasoned meat and crispy bread, what more could you ask? It was quite hot inside as they didn't have AC, I would recommend bringing your own water as they didn't have any out either. Some ice water for customers would be a great idea to have for this business on hotter days, but we still enjoyed it.

First time I went, I thought the banh mi was good but lacked the mayo and pate amount I usually want. Bread was nice and crispy without being too hard, ingredients were fresh and hit right, but it was just lacking the mayo and pate amount I like. So the 2nd time I order with extra mayo and pate from the ordering website. Paid a little extra and still not enough. So I stopped going for a while. Needed breakfast this morning and I wanted banh mi so I gave this spot another go around. Went inside to order, paid for the extra mayo and pate. I bit into the sandwich and couldn't detect any mayo. Also got the thinnest layer of pate. I don't know if I can get my heart broken a third time to be honest. I might like toxic love but I can't take this toxicity from banh mi. Needs more mayo and pate when you pay for extra mayo and pate. Maybe I'll be that sucker who goes back a third time. Wouldn't be a first for me but a heart can only take so much and I'll just have to say, no more!

Got a few takeout sandwiches from this spot in Chinatown and left feeling pretty satisfied with the service! Ordering was simple and food came out quickly with decent packaging. The place was a bit small, but there were tables open to eat too. Sandwiches were all right, not the best banh mis but taste was there. For the price, I don't think I'd return, but it was a decent meal. Portion was okay, I just think there are cheaper and better banh mis in the Boston area.

This place is so worth the price!! It's pretty affordable in my opinion with my total coming out to about $16. The portions are very generous and it comes with a lot of meat. I know pho is very well known for its aromatic flavor and this broth is *very* aromatic. Almost too aromatic for my preference I think they add too much of the star anise. So if that's your thing, please come try this, if not, try something else (like their sandwiches) or go to another pho place. However, overall the pho itself with the rice noodles and soft meat was delicious! The service was good, nothing much to say since you place your order on a kiosk, pretty much self-serving. They do keep the place very clean and tidy though. They have one bathroom and a sauce station! Definitely recommend this place!

I stopped by Banh Mi Huong Que for lunch. Since I was craving pho on a cold winter's day, I looked to see what was in the area on Yelp. According to comments on the Pho Pasteur page, most of the staff there don't speak Vietnamese, so I was weary of going there, as a Viet American from Houston with high expectations for pho. When I walked in, the staff was talking in a mix of Vietnamese and (what I presume to be) Teochew. Perfect. I got the chicken pho, no extra toppings. Like others have stated, the pho broth has a strong star anise taste (which is what I prefer, actually). Bowl was delicious and filling. Chicken was a bit chewy (but I presume it's because some of the chicken I had was cut on the grain and not against the grain and/or the chicken was boiled for a little too long). 4/5. Would come here again for pho.

Stopped in for the first time, and I am already dreaming of my next order. I ordered the Fancy pork & pork belly Bahn Mi combo which came with one spring roll and one drink - all for $16.00! The staff is very friendly and helpful at the front counter, but I skipped the line and ordered from the kiosk which was very quick and efficient. You can customize your Bahn Mi easily, removing or adding extra ingredients. I thought it was really cool that Vietnamese iced coffee and Thai iced tea are included in the combo meal drink options. That would normally be an added cost anywhere else. The Bahn Mi rolls have the perfect softness and crunch ratio which is ideal for this style roll. The pork belly is cooked perfectly and the veggies are fresh. I will be back to try the beef next!

The banh mi at Banh Mi Huong Que were $7, plus 50 cents for the beef in 2024. Now in 2025 it is $7.50, plus $1 for beef. They accept credit cards, and tax is added after. They also offer Rice Bowls and Pho Noodle Soup. I ordered 3 subs to go. The bread lost its crisp during the hour and 20 min it took till I could sit down and enjoy my lunch. Tasted good though! During the pandemic, its predecessor closed shop, and the new business has flipped the space around a bit. There's a refrigerated case where you can grab a drink or dessert or something else. Previously, this was purely a take out joint, but they recently took over the jewelry store next door and so now they have some space to dine in. On another 2024 visit, I was ready to treat myself to a drink so I upgraded to their combo meal to add a Thai Ice Tea and a crispy roll. On this 2025 visit after their recent expansion, we were wanting Vietnamese subs with a dine in option. Currently, in Chinatown, I think Banh Mi Huong Que may be the only option. I went with lemongrass pork since they no longer offer my usual teriyaki or BBQ from its predecessor shop. I also mentioned to them an error with my last order, and they responded to my satisfaction. They call your name as your order is prepared, and you bust your table when you're done. A single unisex bathroom is now available for customers. They got me a roll of toilet paper when I asked, but I hope that they consider putting in a hook on the door for bags and purses at some point.

We stopped by here late on a Friday night and it seemed relatively busy for the time of day. They had a lot of orders to go through, and after ordering off their kiosk, we waited about 10min for the banh mi to be done, which wasn't too long at all. The banh mi itself was ok, it had all the ingredients but didn't wow me. I wish there was a little more meat and veggies and sauce. Overall, I liked this spot for their easy to order service, but the food was just ok.

I went to Banh Mi Huong Que around Chinatown for lunch. It's a standout for anyone craving banh mì. The baguette is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, all the vegetables were soft, and I had both the fried tofu and pork which was a great combination. I enjoy the pate they use, carrots, daikon, and cucumber that has that satisfying crunch when you take a bite. The service is friendly and efficient, 3 tablets to order for the introverts (card only) but there is a cashier their for cash orders. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion size, under $10 for a banh mi. Recently renovated and you can now sit to eat. Really good banh mi for the spot! I personally would skip the Pho. I ordered the Pho with beef meatballs, it was simple, wish they had the traditional Pho Duc Biet with all the meats but it wasn't on the menu.

My first time here and I work directly across the street. I believe it has been renovated the past year. This spot took over an old business that was next door, knocked down the walls, and expanded to put 6-10 tables for dine in. I had the chicken vermicelli bowl combo that comes with Vietnamese ice coffee and an egg roll.For $16? You can't really go wrong with that. The chicken was very tasteful. A little dry but decent. The nuoc cham (fish sauce) they provide is so good. I was very surprised. I will definitely come back and try their beef vermicelli bowl. Highly recommend trying this spot out if you work in area. There is no parking at all so good luck my friends!

I usually go to this place with my girlfriend and it is normally a solid experience with banh mi for a good price. However today when we went here for lunch we were waiting for our order when I witnessed the woman at the front cough directly into her glove and then proceeded to handle and bag our sandwiches without washing her hands or changing her glove like nothing happened. Mind you this is directly in the front of the restaurant where anyone could see. I will never come back to a place where the staff are this careless in handling my food.

I'm normally nervous about getting soup in takeout, but my pho came packaged well and with care. The noodles, broth, and bean sprouts were all packaged separately and arrived warm and unspilt. The broth was a good balance of savory but not too heavy and the portion size made for a filling meal. I would order from here again or try them out in person if I'm in the area!

This place is self service. Dining area is casual. Good for 2-4 people. This is not the normal pho. The beef is different. To be honest, the beef doesn't look appetizing but it's not bad. They put a lot of beef as well. The noodle itself is ok. Soup is not bad. In general, it doesn't taste authentic. The portion is big and it's $16.32.

I live near this shop and it's a go to of mine for sure! They recently renovated and now have a small seating area and touchscreens for quick ordering. On this visit I got the lemongrass beef and it was so flavorful while still being very fresh with the variety of vegetables in the sandwich. I also frequently get their Vietnamese iced coffee which is so good and just the right amount of sweetness. I'll continue to come back due to how fresh the food tastes!

The small storefront belies a surprisingly modern operation inside, with 3 point-of-sale machines where you can place orders w/o any human interaction (like the sort in boba shops) and a tv with order statuses. For a late lunch, I got a cold cut bahn-mi ($7.50, $8.02 with tax). Compared to the other bahn mi place 2 blocks away, this place doesn't have premade sandwiches that you can grab in 30 seconds. They assemble it, which takes less than 5 minutes. Notably, the bread is still warm. Otherwise, it's a solid sandwich with pickles, pate, and filling of choice.

This is my go to place to get banh mi. It's a hit or miss but mostly hits when it comes to their banh mi's. The price of banh mi got expensive here. As long as they keep up the standards I'll pay for it. I know I asked for NO jalapeños and the girl who took my order put down less jalapeños. I didn't notice this until I took a bite and my mouth burned. I'm fine she spelled my name wrong but NO jalapeños!!! Last time the same girl took my order she gave me the most skimpiest bahn mi. So I try not to order with her when I see her. I'll start using the kiosk.

Came here on a Sunday evening around 6pm and was surprised to say the least. Coming from New York City banh mih for under 8 dollars seems quite reasonable, and it was definitely worth. When you enter you can order on two small kiosk or through the snack pass app. You can sit down to the right at a small area with 5 metal tables seating 2-4 each. There is minimal interaction with the staff and each table contains hoisin sauce, soy sauce and siracha. I wish they also had chili oil for the pho. The food came out within 9 mins and was delightful. Like always I covered my banh mi with sauce flavoring. The bread was near perfect and was nice and crunch. There was plenty of meat in my banh mi and veggies too, although I do wish more veggies were added.. All of this cost only 8 dollars which is an insane value in my opinion. The kiosk used mobile pay and accepts credit card. They also have ready to go salads and even a few desserts like flan in the fridge across the counter. I also bought two spring rolls for 1.50 each which were a great price in my opinion. I would recommend getting the combo meals, a banh mi, spring roll and drink with a 5 dollar upcharge on the banh mi. Overall, great cheap food, many options, and rapidly prepared. I would want to try new items here next time I am in the area.

The Vietnamese iced coffee was great! And the Banh Mi Bo was excellent. Be careful as it comes with hot peppers unless you ask to not include it. Highly recommend and berry cheap.

Hit the spot! I wolfed it all down. Pretty fast experience from ordering to pick up - about 10 min total. You can order ahead online or their app but I used the kiosk inside. It's a small space meant more for takeout but you can sit in too. The papaya salad could have had a little more kick and it would have been nicer to have a dry noodle bowl instead of rice bowl. I got the cold cut banh mi as well. It had thick slices of cold cuts but there could have been a bit more veggies. Will be back when I need to satisfy my banh mi cravings!

Fresh quality food. Beef lemongrass banh mi was so good. The jalapeños give it a good kick and I'm happy theres a option to cut the sandwich in half. The pickled veggies are on point. Tofu spring rolls are yummy, so are the shrimp ones. The peanut sauce they give on the side for the spring rolls taste too good. I can easily eat this everyday. Food is great for sure give it a try

Really Fantastic! Impeccable value, quality, and service. You will absolutely not be disappointed here if you're looking for an authentic taste of vietnamese banh mi. I ordered the combo including a crispy roll, pork lemongrass banh mi, and a vietnamese coffee. Everything was delicious, and i was impressed with the way each item tasted like it was meant to be. Their banh mi's have a perfect portion of pate and butter, and their crispy rolls are incredibly savory and tasty. Their Viet coffee hits the spot, and while I've had stronger, higher quality Viet coffee elsewhere, it was still wonderful as it was included in the meal combo. I really really recommend giving this place a try, it's hard to beat the value, and the quality would be hard to find elsewhere! Their mobile ordering feature makes the experience very convenient and fast.

Was not expecting such a tasty, hit-the-spot banh mi for $9! I got one to go but decided to sit down, dress it with some sriracha, and have one bite. Huge mistake. Once I started in, I just housed the entire, delicious, crusty loaf and all the goodness inside. I made an absolute mess and got covered in crust fragments, but my god, no regrets. Sadly, the fried spring roll I added as a side was completely forgettable. It had been sitting out and was room temp and bland. If you're extra hungry, get the fresh rolls with shrimp, a salad, or even a second sandwich.

Must try: Banh Mi Dac Biet (Special Cold Cut)! Why: I was craving some Vietnamese Banh Mi during my visits to Boston so randomly explored Chinatown and stumbled upon this gem! Walked in and appreciated the simple menu so ordered a Banh Mi Dac Biet to-go. Loved it as it hit the spot and satisfied my cravings. Huge baguette and thick slices of meat packed with veggies. All for a reasonable $7.50. Washed it down with strong Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Also ordered a Banh Gio to try later, which was also good. I like how it was one layer of meat and mushroom. I didn't have soy sauce but it was plenty good without sauce. Notes: Small take-out restaurant that is open pretty early for those who need a morning bite. They have two pads to conveniently order from I wanted to chat with the wonderful lady. She was kind and made the food quickly. Would totally come back when I visit Boston again!

Stopped in here for a late night bite and ordered two lemongrass pork sandwiches and two spring rolls. The sandwiches were packed with fresh vegetables and the pork was yummy. The Bang Mi was the highlight, the spring rolls were not as flavorful as we hoped. Some seating available, with Siracha and hoisin sauce available on tables.

Maybe the best bahn mi I ever had full of flavor and the bread was just amazing fresh ingredients. Staff is very nice and friendly. They're open now till 10 PM. Perfect Chinatown spot not to forget to mention affordable. and clean and all so has seating now

The shop interior is smaller than I expected. It has 3 self order kiosks and I didn't notice until after we put our order in at the big kiosk by the entrance. We just wanted something light as we waited for the long line at Happy Lamb for Mother's Day. Surprisingly, the banh mi was good. The pickles were sour and the beef was seasoned nicely. The bread itself felt so fresh and soft. Although, every bite was kinda dry maybe because not enough spread? Aside from that, the banh mi here is pretty decent.

I'm here at least once a month when I visit Boston! The Banh mi is delicious and the actually bread that they use for the Banh mi is so delicious and authentic to what I would get back in Vietnam! So many ways to customize your Banh mi and so many Banh mi options! The imperial rolls and spring rolls are also really delicious! There's plenty of seating, ordering is super easy using kiosk, the the service is usually super fast! Overall a really great place to grab some quick Vietnamese food!

Ambiance: clean but otherwise minimum. Good for a quick lunch, don't take your dinner date here! Food: meh. I saw they might have had BBQ pork in the past, but as of May 2025 they only have lemongrass pork and lemongrass beef. Not grilled, more like stir fried pork (or beef). It is now $7.5-$8 per sandwich. Breads are freshly toasted. Service: they do take credit card which is nice. The workers speak English and are generally responsive, which is more than one can ask for at "authentic" places like this. Overall: I wouldn't go out of my way to get these sandwiches. However if you don't want to bother with getting cash at an ATM this could be a back up solution

Best banh mi we've eaten. It was so good we went there 2 days in a row. Bread had a good crunch and the meats were fresh and high quality! We got the Banh mi Dac Biet and the lemongrass beef, both were good. We'll definitely be back the next time we come to Boston

Boston's Chinatown, a whisper of the Chinatowns of Manhattan and Brooklyn, twice the size of Manhattan's Little Italy but with fundamentally less impressive, inspiring, and vibrant vibes - not ASMR inducing, and semi-satisfying foods. The Banh Mi here at Banh Mi Huong Que, a hole-in-the-wall, in Boston's mini Chinatown were fresh and magnificent except the dense bread like Jersey Mike's Subs, not like a great baguette, but I don't usually eat a lot of bread so it didn't ruin the banh mi for me. I chose the "House Special Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt" #1: Classic cold cut special with pork, roast pork belly and black pepper head cheese and "Fancy Pork - Bánh Mì Chả Lụa" #2. If you love bologna like I do, perfect Vietnamese Cha Lua, seriously flavorful, cohesively balanced, is the absolute best thing, and their most delicious banh mi had plenty of it! Loaded down with the best ever, hefty, insanely fresh Cha Lua, the tiny Banh Mi shop has been doing things right. Each bite of the "House Special Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt" was texturally exciting with all the best Vietnamese charcuterie, crispy, crunchy pickled veg, and fresh cilantro. Thursday's night unexpected rain deluge caused me to hurry and a big rush to get back to the parking lot but I also should have got Banh Mi Huong Que's housemade fermented delights- kimchee and pickled carrots and daikon. If I go back to Boston, I'll head back here!

I wanted something quick to eat and this place was it! There is no indoor seating and is just a to-go place. I love bahn mi and I ended up getting #3, fancy pork (idk what that means) & pork belly. The sandwich itself was really good and the meats were perfect. I came in the evening and I like that the bread was still fresh and not stale.

This place is back! New ownership (from when I was here last) and newly renovated! Their system is modern with a self serve kiosk. I was looking fit bbq beef bin mi, which wasn't on their menu...but try the lemongrass beef! Sooo good!! Fresh ingredients and a delicious French bread roll. They also have Thai iced tea and my favorite, shrimp fresh rolls. I'm so glad they took over because the bread is back to the delicious way it used to be! I am so glad I came in and tried it again. So worth it when you are looking for a bite to eat in Boston! And by the way...the ordering system is quick and efficient! You can see how long your order will take on the screen. Love this hidden gem!

The perfect casual banh mi spot! Fast and kind service, delicious sandwiches, plenty of seating, and a great price. I couldn't ask for much more! So glad I found this spot on my trip, now my Boston local friend goes back as often as she can!

This spot has gone through more identity changes than someone in the witness protection program -- but it has finally found its true self as Banh Mi Huong Que. THE BEST BANH MI SANDWICH I'VE EVER HAD. IN MY LIFE. Yes, I'm yelling because my taste buds are still celebrating. Some major upgrades worth celebrating: 1. Computerized ordering system! No need to brush up on your Vietnamese or nervously point at the menu, just tap that screen with confidence! 2. Actual seating! Yes, real tables. You can now sit like a civilized human instead of running out of the shop awkwardly with your sandwich. You can gather with a few friends to catch up or just enjoy solitude with your Bah Mi. They serve Banh Mi, Pho, rice or noodle bowls, desserts, grab-and-go egg rolls, and canned drinks. Most of the food is under $15.00. And in downtown Boston, where lunch can easily hit $25, that's a total steal. I got the Lemongrass Pork Banh Mi and it was chef's kiss. Perfect balance of sweet, sour, and salty, wrapped in a crusty baguette and stuffed with generous chunks of meat. It was so good, I went back the very next day for round two. At $7.50 and the perfect balance of flavor, it is a good deal! Fast service, great food, a place to sit, and prices that don't break the bank. I could eat here every day. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I came here on the recommendation of somebody about the combo meal that they had. When I first came in, I was surprised at the space. It looked like it had been taking over by New Management, as before there wasn't a seating area available or at least not as large as it was before. I tried ordering from the kiosk, but it wasn't working for me so I ended up ordering from the cashier. I ordered the number three sandwich combo with the tie iced tea. It also came with a roll. The roll and sandwich or nothing special, but the Thai tea was pretty good, although you could see it was a little watered down. The price for the combo itself was $14, and I feel that there are better options in the area where you can either spend less and get more food, or spend slightly more and get even more food. Otherwise prices are average for the items on sale.

Small hole in the wall. Crispy and delicious fried crispy rolls. Excellent fresh banh mi. Spring rolls are fresh. Venue is insanely dirty, which makes this place the real deal. Hidden gem in Chinatown you don't want to miss. No seating so take it and go. It gets busy.

Very good banh mi for a reasonable price! I recommend asking for extra mayo when you order as it can be a bit dry without it. I highly recommend the beef option, but you can't go wrong with any of the sandwiches here. Their coffee is also delicious!

I've visited this spot a few times now, and it's a pretty solid option for a good sandwich when you want something quick and affordable. I've definitely had other bahn mis in the Boston area, but the ones here are about what you'd expect. The bread is crispy yet soft on the inside, and the crunchiness and freshness of the vegetables balance out the meat. The bread-to-topping ratio is a bit off in my opinion, but that's my only complaint. I believe this place is cash-only, but you can order for pick-up online using a card, just FYI.

Stopped in for a quick bite: veggie crispy rolls are very good. Fried just right and a reasonable price. Their Bahn mi tofu sandwich is also amazing, and easily enough for two small meals with the rolls. They have a special for this! Service is very fast too. We had a large order and they got everything right. Thai tea was also very tasty, I was a little scared because I saw them put a lot of half and half in it but it was excellent. The ambience is nonexistent, this is absolutely a to-go place with no seating options. Still, I would come back in a second. If it keeps the prices low and the quality high!

Tofu Banh Mi--Good, not Great I ordered the Teriyaki Tofu Banh Mi to go at around 1 pm on a Friday. This is a to go place, there is no where to sit, fyi. On the spectrum of tofu ban mi's, this was fine, but not memorable. --Baguette was very good, crusty outside, soft and fresh inside --The basic ingredients were all just "present"--baked teriyaki tofu, cilantro, pickled julienned carrot, daikon and cucumber. --Very little marinade on the tofu --Not enough spicy mayo to really taste A great Banh Mi should have layers of contrasting flavors--salty, sweet, sout, spicy--but this particular sub had none of that Vietnamese wow factor.

I got the banh mi dac biet (number 1 on the menu). Baguette was was crisp on the outside. There is too much bread compared to veggies/meats. My jaw was kind of sore from chewing so much crust. Flavor was on point though. Service was fast. It's a quick grab and go. Very casual.

Stopped by once and got lemon grass beef pho. It was a touch more expensive than the surrounding places in terms of price to portion, but it was steaming hot and just what I was looking for

Small little shop in chinatown. I've been craving bahn mi for months and this really hit the spot. I received jalapeños in my sandwich even though I asked for it to be taken off but that was a very minor mishap. Food was good and people were nice so I don't have complaints.

Omg this place is garbage. I'm Vietnamese, from San Jose, so maybe I'm extra picky. I'm in Boston for work, and after 2-3 days anywhere, I'm looking for Viet food. I looked at so many pictures and ordered the bun thit nuong thinking theirs looked most authentic. What I received was some super dry stir fried pork with horrible egg noodles. The whole thing tastes like celery. If this is the best Boston's got, it's so sad. :(

Really solid banh mi place! I'd say it's my favorite option in the Chinatown area. I really liked the bread, very crispy outside, soft inside. Fillings are fresh and tasty. Could use more cilantro, but I'm nitpicking. I ordered at the kiosk inside the store and the order was ready within minutes. Looks like they've added a seating area relatively recently so you can sit and enjoy your food there as well. I'd recommend if you're in the area!

Great price, easy to order, good seating! The bread wasn't too thick which is often a struggle with Banh Mi's, and I would recommend this place.
