Bánh Xèo 46A

"The air-conditioned room may be tempting, but the al fresco seating by the open kitchen promises the most authentic experience. For over seven decades, regulars have been returning for its huge Vietnamese signature crêpes stuffed with mung beans, bean sprouts, pork and shrimp. Pair with pulled chicken salad, as well as chargrilled meat and seafood, among which pork, beef, squid and prawns. Be sure to arrive well before closing time." - Michelin Inspector

A great little spot to come and experience an authentic meal. It’s definitely on the unrefined style compared to other top restaurants but it’s a good experience overall. They’re known for their “fried food with lettuce wrap style”. The place is known for their huge pancakes, pretty overrated in my opinion. The soft shell crab and steamed fish was great, good mixed salad. Plenty to enjoy on the menu. I’d probably not come back as there are much better places for this type of cuisine but I’d recommend coming a least once! The staff were great and gave good recommendations.

I’m legit impressed with this place. The food is straight-up amazing. The bánh xèo (crepe) is layered with green beans and coated with coconut milk. So freaking good. I also got the bánh canh, the soup was just perfect. Came here on a weekend, had to wait in line for a bit since it was super packed. But the way they handle the queue, take orders, and serve food is super smooth, even though it looks like total chaos. Pro tip: they take reservations on weekdays but not weekends, so plan ahead and book if you can.

It's Banh Xeo (Vietnamese Pan Cake shop). This shop is very popular for travelors, foreigners and also Vietnamese people. Their Bah Xeo was much cheaper before, but now it turn to very expensive... but the Banh Xeo itself tunrned to very gorgeous also. It has some very big shrimp and Banh Xeo itself is very big coming with a lot of vegetable. One Banh Xeoa may be enough for 3 people. As the reault, the value for the price was kinda good.

I ate at this place since the 90’s . It was a street food place. Now became much more bigger and organized as a real restaurant. Vietnamese pan cakes are typical southern dish. Food is till good and now they add some other dishes too

Authentic and Satisfying Banh Xeo Experience If you're craving authentic banh xeo, this place is a must-visit. The banh xeo is incredibly crispy and full of flavor, with generous portions that really hit the spot. One of the highlights is the outdoor kitchen—watching the banh xeo being freshly made adds a special touch to the experience. You eat it wrapping style with rice plenty of fresh vegetables, which they provide generously. It makes the dish even more fun and refreshing to enjoy. We also tried the cha gio and goi cuon, which were delicious and can be ordered in smaller portions if you prefer a lighter meal. I had a soda chanh duong to go with everything—it was super refreshing and paired perfectly with the food. The service was good—friendly and efficient, which made the whole visit even more enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable, and overall, I left feeling completely satisfied. This spot is definitely worth checking out if you love Vietnamese street food.

The highlight of this place is their crepe. I ordered the extra filling which was huge, enough for 2, the crepe is crispy on the outside and soft inside. It comes with extra prawns, pork, coated with egg and a huge amounts of bean sprouts. The seasoning is perfect, good balance of salt and pepper.

We arrived 7pm (dinner rush) and we were provided with tables right away, and minutes after we ordered, food were ready. It was amazing. The best crepe and fried and spring rolls in Vietnam for me.

We heard very good things about this BANH XEO And it did meet our expectation so I was very happy about that The only thing I did not like is that it was in a alleyway and it seemed a bit dirty around and we’re not very good ambiance compared to other places we went to but if you disregard the area around you and just enjoy the meal for where it is, then you will be very happy and pleased. It’s cool though to see the people cooking the BANH. XEO Right in front of you and the cooking so many ones as it was a very busy place Also, the dining area where we sat seem to be like or it looks like somebody’s living room that they just put tables in, but honestly, it still was nice to be in there and really was a place where locals go more rather than a tourist usually go, so it was a nice change from where I usually go As well, there is the pink church beside, so it was nice for us to see the area as well
