Bar Ai Do Leoni

Excellent colorfully lit bar we stumbled upon while walking around in late-night Venice. Their cicchetti were delicious, and the cocktails were phenomenal. Our bartender got creative and served us all sorts of delicious drinks. The highlight for me was the one in the picture, which was their creative take on a Bloody Mary and was just amazing. Right amount of spice and just perfectly savory without being heavy. Just delicious. 10/10.

It’s a beautiful Venice bacaro right next to Sr Marks square that is not touristy enough to make you uncomfortable and gives you imaginative tapas options and a very good set of wines by the glass. The cicchetti were great no mater whether it was just sheep’s cheese with pear mostarda, sausage with pesto or some crazy vegan concoction of dried, cooked and raw vegetables or Gorgonzola and anchovies. The wine was certainly good and quite reasonably priced with both classical and natural options to entertain almost every kind of a customer. The people running the show are young, cheerful, helpful and caring. I will come here at least once on my every visit to Venice.

The cicchetti were amazing! We took these ones and enjoyed every single one (my fav is with onion and a shrimp on top).Aperol spritz was also good, so was the atmosphere in this little lovely bar. Don’t skip if you’re in Venice!

We enjoyed a selection of cicchetti and local white wine here. Tiny bar with a few seats, friendly and helpful staff. Right by St Mark’s Basilica but very unassuming. Highly recommend for a drink and a bite!

If you’re looking for a place to drink that’s open late this is it. Plus the cocktails were the best I had in Venice. Ask Alex to make you her specials. Also, you get some good views of the main square.

Beautiful cicchetti and lovely lovely hosts. A very wonderful bar with great atmosphere. Amazing drinks. We’ll be back for sure!

Cicchetti to write home about! Outstanding. Rivals anything I ever had in San Sebastián. I’m sure this place will end up on a show, so get here before the line is too long!

Great cocktails, very nice staff! Just set back from St Marks square. Limited seating but you can stand outside the bar. Good place to stop for a quick drink. I also noticed whilst I was there it is dog friendly. Cicchetti was available.
