"Ai Do Leoni recently got revamped, and it’s churning out top-notch cicchetti and really interesting wines from the Veneto region. Even though it’s in Piazza San Marco, it’s tucked away and not near the touristy bars that will charge you €20 for a spritz. You’ll mostly find locals and tourists who happened to stumble in after taking in Basilica San Marco, and the crowd often spills out onto the street. Between that and the moody pink lighting, this spot is a fun place where you can post up for a drink and some red shrimp on toasted bread before dinner, or just hang for hours sipping funky prosecco." - Carlo Mantuano
