We visited this place after our hotel receptionist recommended it. He joked that this place is the second best for snails in Granada, the first best being his mother’s!
After having a lunch here, we completely understand why it is highly recommended. The snails were the best we’ve had.
We also tried the berenjenas con miel. This was aubergine, thinly sliced and served with sugar cane syrup. CMIIW!
The croquettes came in a minimum of 3 pieces and very delicious.
Finally, our server recommended their special almond dessert. It was perfect, crunchy but not overly sweet.
The food was excellent, prices were extremely reasonable, and the service was warm and genuine.
Also it’s important to note that staff don’t expect tips and were actually surprised when we left one. This said a lot about the honest hospitality. A a true local experience in Granada!
