immediately the staff treats you like family when you walk in the door. we couldn't figure out who the owner of the establishment was because every employee was taking the time to get to know and speak to every customer.
our table was in a cozy corner with a bench on one side with decorative pillows and a lit candle. our server, Hugo, was so accommodating and personable. he made us feel so comfortable and welcomed, and was extremely knowledgable of the menu. the thing that stands out to me most about this dining experience was the fact that we were not rushed out the door. we arrived at 6:30pm and didn't leave until almost 9:30pm. I really admire that the staff isn't trying to get as many people in and out the door as humanly possible. it's a slow, methodical dining experience.
my partner and I had lots of things off the menu, so ill rate them below:
elena pinot grigio: 10/10
proscioutto appetizer: 10/10
burratta: 8/10
lobster mushrooms: 10/10
tortellini: 9/10
tagliatelle carbonara: 9/10
will absolutely be going back as soon as possible! this place is very very special.
