"Imagine what the queue for a Disneyland seaplane adventure ride might look like, and you’ll probably be picturing something like Bar Charlie. It’s a neighborhood spot with knotted rope light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, a plane propellor anchored behind the bar, and map schematics on the walls. The drinks, which range from an old fashioned with apple brandy and mole bitters to a lemon gin cocktail with rhubarb, are excellent, and the food’s impressive, too. Get the twice-baked loaded poutine potato covered in melted cheese curds, gravy, chives, and bacon." - Aimee Rizzo

Small tapas menu is decently priced and has some tasty options. Craft cocktails are a bit over the top though and could focus more on the whiskey. Rotating pie is from A La Mode and quite yum.

Lovely outdoor seating next to a fire. Creative cocktails made for us to order based upon our specific taste. Mine was a New York sour. It was as good as anything I have had at Canon or Zig Zag. They have pie that they are selling now but I didn't get a chance to try it.

I'm so glad I gave this a shot. This will be a new regular spot. Impeccable cocktails, and oh. My. Sagan. The humble crumble is pure joy. If you get it without the ice cream you're missing out. Well worth every penny.

Friendly bartender/server. The nee chef os doing an excellent job with the food. He was easily able to accommodate us vegetarians. The deviled eggs were delicious with the sesame adding a nice crunch. The place has industrial decor. Highly recommend the place for the atmosphere, food and service.

We couldn't help ourselves-- enjoyed delicious Old Fashioneds with a slice of cherry pie and a slice of strawberry rhubarb on Friday, then came back Saturday night for amazing negronis at the other outside seating, by the big fire table. Sweet and savory pies available by the slice or whole pie and classic cocktails done perfectly. They have some sassier unique cocktails we look forward to trying, too. Great service, too.

Everything is perfect except one of the waitress is the rudest I ve ever seen. Please don’t get me wrong. The pie is super amazing here, atmosphere is great and drinks are great. I love it! I have been to this place like 7times now. The owner is nice and humble. Everything is perfect except this one waitress. Tonight is the second time I saw her. She was our waitress last time too and she was also super rude but I tolerated it anyways as I LOVE the pie here. But tonight, her rudeness is on another level. We sit down and we said we want to order pie, she acted like she is our boss and said “order drinks first,” so we ordered drinks first. Then she didn’t come again to get our order for pie until 30mins later. We ordered 2 pies. She said they didn’t have one of the pie that night, and threw words at us without looking “the pies available are on the shelf” and she walked away. So we walked to shelf ourselves and picked another pie. She was SO rude the entire time, her attitude is so disrespectful and aggressive. It’s horrible. Only after the owner came in, her attitude become better and started to act like she care. If the owner is reading this, I wanna say that I sincerely love your bar and it’s just so amazing. But this employee is so unprofessional that I have to stop coming again as her attitude really ruined everything nice about this bar. There are three waiters tonight, one young man and one women with blonde hair and one woman with dark brown (almost dark red hair). The rude one is the dark brown (or red hair) women. Everytime I see her in this bar, she is incredibly rude. Please consider give her some professional training etc.
