I got take out, but did get to enjoy the outdoor seating for a bit while I waited for my food. I arrived not too long after opening, so there weren't many people there and social distancing was easy. I was really impressed by the service, and I think it's pretty hard to make much of an impression on a take out order, so that says a lot.
I got the Maine lobster roll with a side of slaw ($22) and a cup of New England clam chowder ($10). The roll was as yummy as it looked but the chowder didn't really do it for me, unfortunately. It was thinner than I expected and a little bland. It definitely wasn't bad, but next time I would try something else for an appetizer instead. I think the deviled eggs are calling to me.
I was able to get a really good craft cocktail for takeout, as well, which was the old fashioned du jour (I believe it involved bacon in some way that day). They'll mix you up a single to take home, or you can do a little bottle that has enough for 3-4 drinks in it, which seemed to be the better deal, so I did that. It turned out to be totally worth it - def get yourself some craft cocktails to take home!
If you can't find street parking, which can definitely be a challenge in this area, parking in the building is expensive. I was only there for 15 mins and it was like $7. Also, I had never been here before and was a bit confused on where to go to order my food, since the indoor dining area was still closed due to covid restrictions and that's the first thing you see when you come up from the parking garage.
I paid about $80 including tip and parking, so it was a special treat and not something I can do all the time, but whenever I'm having a "treat myself" kind of day this is a solid option.
