Top notch cocktail experience - Deserves its place in the World’s Best Bars list. Cocktails are excellent, with great twists on some classics. There’s a small menu of delicious snacks. It’s walk ins only and very popular so it’s good to either arrive early, or go and add your name to the waitlist, explore the local area (lots of other cool places to check out) and they’ll WhatsApp you when your table’s free. We went around 17:45 and only waited for 30 minutes or so, which allowed us to explore the PMQ building on the next block.

We queued up a few minutes before opening and the queue was already really long! It took us maybe 15mins to get to (almost) the front of the line when we were told they were full already but we can leave our number (WeChat or Whatsapp) then they’ll just contact us when it’s almost our turn. We didn’t want to go too far in case it was our turn (since we were 3rd), but we still had to wait for an hour and a half. I think it’s more difficult to get a table for 3 vs a table for 2 or 4. We got inside around 6:30pm and placed our orders. (Note also you may have to share tables here, but our tablemates were really friendly so we had a great time!) The drinks were GREAT. Everything was so good!!! I personally liked the margarita de maiz (yes, corn margarita!) and olive oil sour— so happy with the drinks I chose that night! My friends were also happy with the drinks they chose. For the food, we tried the fried chicken & mortadella. Both were good and I am still thinking about both dishes until now! Haha

From the very first bite to the final sip, this experience was nothing short of extraordinary — a masterclass in balance, creativity, and execution. Every element on the table sang with personality and purpose. Arancini With Mozzarella & Pomodoro Golden, crisp perfection on the outside, meltingly creamy within. The mozzarella was rich and indulgent, with the pomodoro providing a bright, tangy contrast. Classic, comforting, and elevated to the sublime. Anchovy, Whipped Ricotta & Parsley Oil Crostino A bold and brilliant bite — the anchovy was salty and assertive, mellowed beautifully by the cloud-like whipped ricotta. The parsley oil brought a fresh herbal lift that tied everything together effortlessly. A perfect palate opener. Steak Tartare, Sun-Dried Tomato Mayo, Pane Carasau One of the best tartares I’ve had in recent memory. The meat was delicately seasoned, tender, and impeccably fresh. The sun-dried tomato mayo added umami depth and sweetness, and the pane carasau gave it that satisfying crunch. A brilliant reimagining of a classic dish. Focaccia With Mortadella, Whipped Ricotta, Pickled Chillis This was comfort and contrast in every bite — the pillowy focaccia soaked up all the richness of the mortadella and ricotta, while the pickled chillis cut through with the perfect zing. It was rich, spicy, and downright addictive. CAFFÈ PARADISO An absolute revelation. The cold brew’s deep roast played beautifully with the honeyed warmth of the Ratafia Rossi, and the salted cream brought a luscious, almost dessert-like edge. The whisper of green cardamom lingered on the finish like a gentle breeze — complex, comforting, and unforgettable. APPLETINI Fresh, sharp, and delightfully unexpected. The green apple and celery made for a vegetal, zippy pairing, while the Calvados and aperitif wine grounded it with warmth and depth. The black pepper added just the right bite. A modern, grown-up riff on the appletini — utterly genius. SGROPPINO A dreamy, palate-cleansing interlude. The raspberry sorbet was vibrant and tart, and the combination of elderflower and amontillado sherry added floral sweetness and a hint of nutty elegance. Light, refreshing, and totally addictive. BOOGIE NIGHTS A party in a glass. Passion fruit and sour pineapple brought tropical punch, while Aperol and hot sauce gave it a sophisticated edge and a smoky kick. The tequila was smooth and well-integrated — this cocktail was playful, punchy, and impossible not to love. Final Thoughts This wasn’t just a meal; it was a curated journey through flavour, texture, and innovation. Every dish was thoughtful, every drink bold and balanced. The interplay between Italian tradition and modern technique was seamless. If you’re looking for a place where passion meets precision, this is it. A resounding five stars.

OK so get there early and get your name down. It’s Asia and people love to line up and this place is not vastly different except you can be out and about and keep your eye on your place in the line. Superb service, filthy martini and cacao negroni is awesome. Food wise anchovies and smoked olives are amazing. A venue where all the staff show they give a sh*t about being the number 2 bar in the world (for now) vs thinking they are just cool. Can’t recommend this place enough. Just awesome.

Supposedly the best bar in Hong Kong. The atmosphere was unique with a cozy home-style interior that made you feel like you were stepping into an Italian's living room. Drink wise, there were some hits and misses with the King Kong old fashioned and filthy martini being the only standouts with their elevated flavours and spirit forwardness. Didn't really give their food menu a try but will do so one day. Overall, I'd say its a pretty nice place to grab a drink but to have the crown of Asia's best bar I'd say its up to you to decide.

Was considered number 1 in Asia. Visited during October and was looking forward to this place. Went bar hopping to check out the best spots and this one of them on the list. Got here at 7:30PM and the placed as full but not overly packed. There were two standing spots available by a table, which was shared by four other girls. Twenty minutes later, a table opened up, and the server moved us there. Great service. The cocktails were a major letdown. The ratios were so off. No balance and harmony. There was so much lemon juice it burned your throat. Then there's too much alcohol in others. This is the place you want to go if you want to get absolutely trashed and wake up feeling horrible for the rest of the next day. Ordered four drinks and sent one back to the bar. Overall, I would recommend the ambiance and atmosphere. If you're planning on having light drinks or plan on staying out late, I do not recommend it.

Pros: Service is very good Specialized in sour taste Cons: 1) There are no sweet cocktails. 2) The cocktails taste is similar to raspberry yougurt and coffee. I felt that I was drinking coffee instead of cocktails. 3) Order bespoke cocktail (specially asked for no sour personalised cocktail). But the bartender still made sour cocktail. Overall, disappointed with Asia’s top bar. This place is more specialized with sour taste. If you are looking for sweet taste, would recommend other bars

The Italian vibes are on point and the warm hospitality is second to none. The service is amazing and every drink is crafted to perfection. The perfect joint to take friends & visitors. Ranked best bar in Asia and very deserving of its accolades. Can't wait to go back! 💯 Ps. The smoked olives & the mortadella sandwich are *chef’s kiss 🤌🏼 do yourself a favour & order both
