Bar Lucca

Great food (mostly). It was too loud for my personal taste, couldnt even hear my partner across the table half the time even if we both lean in and raise our voices. The service was super slow. There were solid 15 min waits in between our dishes. Our waitress was nice, she seemed overwhelmed with all her tables so dont think its her. Maybe they're understaffed or kitchen is slow, not sure. Started off with brussel sprouts and Tuscan salad. Both my partner and I's favorites of the night. The Tuscan salad was light, fresh, and had the perfect amount of dressing (just lightly coated). The brussel sprouts were sweet, spicy, and salty. The black garlic gnocchi was good. The sauce was too salty by the end of the dish, but the gnocchi is perfection. Pizza was good. Lamb shank was disappointing. The lamb shank was tiny, barely all meat. It was really hard to get off the bone as it wasnt cooked down. There was no way to get the meat off with fork and knife. So we had to grab it and eat it like a drumstick. The veggies that came with it was good though. For dessert, the gelato was amazing. Just like the ones we been dreaming of thinking about our trip to Italy. Got the pistachio, espresso, and raspberry mascarpone. Raspberry was ok, a bit icy. But the pistachio and the espresso was amazing. The flavors were concentrated, with a hint of bitterness at the end of each bite. Creamy, smooth and a great way to end the meal. We'd give this restaurant another try but not in a rush to come back.

We initially came here for dinner just because we heard it was good, and didn’t even realize it was restaurant week. We totally lucked out. Everything we ate (and drank!) was awesome, especially the diver scallops, the Brussels sprouts, and even the bread that’s given to the table. They gave my daughter a dish of noodles, butter, and cheese, and even that was delicious. It’s not the most kid-friendly place in terms of lack of high chairs and a kid-specific menu, but we made it work. Our server was especially patient and kind when it came to our toddler, which helped a lot. She even offered to wrap up our dessert so we could get out of there, which was an amazing idea and I’m so glad she thought of it. We will 10000% be back, but very likely for a date night.

Went to Bar Luca for lunch with co-workers. The food is delicious. The wait staff are very kind and helpful. It was a quick lunch, maybe about 45 minutes. I recommend this restaurant if you’re in the Conshocken area and have to be in and out or if you want to stay and have a cocktail. Desert is also pretty good! I would definitely go again.

Service was great, atmosphere was good. 4 stars for food - for all of the effort put into the pasta, the sauce for both me and my colleague was lacking. My carbonara had bacon - not guanciale and emulsion broke. See in the photo. My colleagues ravioli was mostly sauce. My drink was great. The dessert was good Worth another visit, not a special trip.

Great place for apps and relaxing with a few people. The specials were described and the roast chicken sounded amazing. The accompanying food was amazing but the chicken itself was very dry. I did also have the chocolate espresso chip gelato for dessert. Overall a nice place with amazing service but I will probably just stick to apps and nice company.

Really cute outdoor and indoor location. Buratta bruschetta was amazing. Wood fired pizza was excellent. Maybe the beautiful Fall weather contributed to our experience but it was a tremendous lunch. Service was present but not pushy

I had an absolutely amazing experience! The entire team went above and beyond! I was blown away by the level of professionalism. The food was amazing and let me just say the tiramisu was absolutely divine. I can confidently say that they have earned a lifelong customer.

It was a rocky start. We were the first table seated upstairs and there was a large private party. But these people were not in the reserved room. They were at the bar and they were very loud. We had to shout to hear our own conversation. It wasn't until they went into their private room, that we could converse normally. David was managing everything, the large private party, us and the bar for the first hour. He recommended the tasting menu. That is where things got really good. The food was absolutely amazing. I would skip the bread because it was cold and doughy. Save room for the fabulous food. When we left, we were stuffed, happy and said we would return. Bravo!

Fantastic experience!! Great service for 10 and our room was on the second level. We decided to not get the family style but ordered several appetizers. Cheese board, brussel sprouts, buratta were all good. Bread- free--don't fill up on it! Pizza with short ribs is fabulous. A bit spicy but not too hot. Bucatini pasta made in house was lovely. We had desserts to share and it was all great. We especially like the rose menu for summer. Waitress was a m a z i n g! She kept our drinks filled and was very knowledgeable. Would go back again for a large party or small.

I liked what I read and saw on here so much that I wanted to try myself. I got the classic bucatini and the rose tiramisu, probably a special, to go. The bucatini didn't have the pretty bread piece that you see in entree pics and the rosé tiramisu has this black plasticy webby thing that is meant for decoration and not meant to eat. Besides those little things, I enjoyed the textures and flavors of the food lot. Fresh pasta with fresh sauce and fresh rose and tiramisu. Staff is friendly . I wonder if Bar Sera is a "cousin" of Bar Lucca because they are close to each other and the building styles felt similar to me when I just happened to pass Bar Sera on the way to Bar Lucca?

Solid Italian restaurant with cute decor, nice-casual vibes, and great, fast, friendly service. My absolute favorite thing from there: THE FREE BREAD. Wow. It's reminiscent of pizza crust but with a sprinkling of flaky salt on top and comes with a tasty black pepper olive oil. I could eat that bread forever. Beyond the free bread, everything else we had was pretty good and blessedly not too salty! The fried eggplant was a nice veggie starter with crisp eggplant and fresh brussels and arugula. The meatballs were fine, if a bit plain. My husband loved his shortrib rigatoni--the rigatoni itself had a lovely chew, the tomatoes were fresh and the sauce well balanced, and the short rib was yummy too. Loved the green onion on top. My lobster ravioli though was just okay. I didn't like the flavor of the sauce and the lobster didn't add much. The prices are pretty standard for a "nicer" Italian restaurant. Overall, like I said, a solid option! I would go back just for that bread haha.

Food was okay, needed flavor. Once again, even though I asked for many items to exclude meat, one of the pizzas came out with meat on it. They need to be more conscious about it for vegetarians! Service was quick. It's always a popular place during happy hour, so get there early if that's what you are looking to do! Aesthetics are very nice.

Bar Lucca in Conshohocken exceeded my expectations with its exceptional pasta and pizza selections. I especially loved the Gnocchi! The staff went above and beyond to make my birthday celebration truly special, displaying remarkable friendliness and attention to detail. They even put a candle in my dessert! The diverse menu and warm atmosphere make it a standout choice for any occasion. I will definitely be coming back here for another birthday!

I loved this place. Good food with a very attentive staff. Feels like a little Italian eatery. Probably the quickest Italian food I've had. We did t have e to wait for anything yet the courses were spaced out properly enough for us to have an unrushed and enjoyable night.

This was the best dish at the table by far. Was a little disappointed with everything else. We had several apps/entrees/ and desserts and they were mediocre at best. I don't think it's a good value for what you are paying. You can get better tasting food for less money at other places. However, The service was phenomenal. Our server was friendly, patient, and accurate. She had perfect timing with all the meals and provided top notch service.

Great little restaurant in Conshohocken! Very popular and for good reason. The food and staff here are great! They have outdoor and indoor seating options, along with sliding glass doors along the patio. We dined here on a Saturday evening at prime time, and while it did take a little time for the food to come out, everything was delicious and worth it. We ordered Arancini and Burrata for starters, along with the Shortrib Rigatoni, Crab Mafaldine, and Bucatini for entrees. The arancini was good, not the best I've had but still yummy, the burrata was soft and not under salted. Our pasta was perfectly cooked and freshly made which was an added bonus! All of the sauces were perfectly creamy and seasoned. The short rib was very tender and a great compliment to the rigatoni. Next time I'm in the area I will certainly consider coming back to try a whole new round of dishes!

Bar lucca is a total treat. Our waitress was an absolute gem and made the experience so wonderful. To start, we had the crispy brussel sprouts and the arancini. The sprouts were so flavorful and deliciously crispy. The three arancini were large and no need for sauce. The black garlic gnocchi was decadent with the Parmesan crisps as a nice touch. The pasta special was such a treat - a veal, leek, and pecorino cheese ravioli topped with water cress which was amazingly balanced and so good. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!

The food at this restaurant is delicious. They have a variety of great options to choose from which will allow you to have a wonderful experience. The portion size of their dishes is generous so keep that in mind when you are ordering. Their drink menu is just as good whether you want a good wine or an alternative beverage. The staff is friendly and helpful. Parking is in their lot.

Bar Lucca is Conshy staple. I have always had a pleasant experience here! The food is overall good and I love the ambiance. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Excellent food! Farm to table feels all around. Literally in the middle of nowhere lies this gem. Been here a few times when I am in the area for work. Love the pasta, but the Brussel sprouts appetizer and white pizza are my favorite. It could have been 5 stars, but the service is always too slow, specially if you sit on the top floor....avoid that if possible.

This place was great. Nice atmosphere, nice staff, oh and the food was equally as great. Started with the crispy Brussels, watch it, they've got some hidden spice. I like spicy so it was welcomed. I came for the lamb chops. They did not disappoint! Prepared perfectly, tender, tasty and succulent. Paired nicely with a garlic mash and zucchini. I don't frequently eat the entire meal, but this time I did! No leftovers from here. The desert menu looked fantastic, that'll be for next time!

Omg the food was so good here! The bread came out first wrapped in a brown paper and felt cold to the touch. I was skeptical because you usually want warm fresh bread. I was wrong. It was a delight!! So doughy and fresh and delicious! There was olive oil in the table with a slightly green tint that was seasoned with salt and pepper and who knows what else and was so so good. I water an entire loaf of bread. We tried a few appetizers which were the star of the show. The Brussels sprouts, calamari and burrata were perfection. We split a few pizzas for dinner and they were very good. Same awesome doughy amazingness. Was a little jealous of people who got pasta dishes because those looked so fabulous as well. They also had really great cocktails. Would highly recommend.

Bar Lucca is amazing! Came during their restaurant week and a parents day at a local university but the service was great! The crispy Brussel sprouts were amazing the sweet chili and honey glaze was just perfect. The crab malfadine was cooked to perfection. The amount of crab in the dish was incredible. I always think it's important to save room for dessert and the Nutella donuts were eye roll worthy!

Always tasty and fast delivery. The Brussels sprouts are delicious. Never been disappointed with our selections.

Bar Lucca make you go LOCO! Just kidding, but this joint is bussin...as the kids are saying. We were seating right away, and our waitress was super on point. Very friendly and tended to all of our needs. What we snagged: -Mussels (VERY flavorful) -Calamari (Lightly fried...like I like it) -Gnocchi Special -Short Rib Rigitoni -Soppressata Pizza All dishes were outstanding. Nothing was left unturned. The drinks were amazing too. Highly recommend for a date night, or a larger group. Will be back FOR SURE.

Great place for weekday dinner. Great pizza and salads. I enjoy the small pizza with a grilled chicken salad. This is enough for two people.

The last time I was here it was for dinner. This time it was for lunch with some work friends. We arrived around 12:30 on a Monday and they were busy. We sat in the bar area and had a high top table. Regular and outdoor seating were sold out. We had a hard time deciding as it all sounded good. A couple of us decided to split our lunch. (Pesto Chicken and Braised Short rib sandwiches). Both were delicious with the Short rib sanding out. The Prosciutto Melt was also enjoyed. Service was engaging but they were understaffed. One person, who was doing his best, had too many tables given lunch rush. So if you want a quick lunch and don't have much time........ That said, we enjoyed our lunch and the atmosphere. They were voted "Best of Conshee." We will be back.

My husband and I loved our experience here! The atmosphere for dinner was dark and romantic. They have a parking lot which is great because street parking isn't always easy to find in that area. There are tvs in the bar area where they were showing the flyers game but definitely did not feel like a sports bar. The weather was nice so they had the sliders out to the porch open. I had an amazing limoncello prosecco cocktail that I have unsuccessful tried to recreate at home. We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. They were perfectly crispy with a yummy sweet and tangy sauce. For dinner I had the short rib rigatoni which I loved. The portion was big so I had some leftover foe the next day. We will definitely be coming back here for dinner.

Amazing food and knowledgeable staff who are helpful with directing your tastes through both food and wine. The ambiance is fantastic for a group dinner or a date night. Chef Will always curates unique, seasonal items for the menu. You can tell that this is a restaurant group that cares about educating their staff to bring the customer a great experience!

Bar Lucca never disappoints...food is the best there is on the main line and it is a great place to meet friends and enjoy a cocktail. ambiance is amazing and always a spot to be seen. would suggest for dinner with friends or happy hour cocktails and apps! the best in conshy by far and best on the main line

I've been coming to Bar Lucca for years and it's always been well run with an interesting menu and a well curated wine list. I tend to get the wood fired pizza, but the pappardelle is excellent too. I'd lean towards making reservations especially during restaurant week, and they'll host private parties on the 2nd floor so those random days can be busy too. No matter the situation, the servers and bartenders have been top notch

Tonight my 7 year old son went to a drop-off birthday party and how convenient - dinner time and in Conshohocken. So psyched to have kid free date night at a causal modern Italian restaurant dinner. Made 5:30 reservations on Open Table Located in row house neighborhood, the restaurant has a small parking lot which fills up quickly - 2 spots left. The restaurant has inside seating, a long bar and big glass accordion doors to the front patio. We were greeted by friendly hosts who walked us through a the main dinning room . The ambiance was loud and vibrant. Seated on the front patio the cars driving by was a bit loud however the weather was fabulous. I started out with a Prosecco spritzer with limoncello and mint. So refreshing! We started out with the fried calamari - crispy and fried with a light dust of corn starch's. For my main course was hard to choose - the menu was 1 page but all fresh and artisan clean ingredients- Neapolitan pizza, thin crust , homemade pastas, lamb,steak scallops and salmon entrees and a chefs tasting. I went with the short rib rigatoni in a tomato cream sauce. Fresh homemade pasta with a super comfort- garlic cheesy cream tomato and tender short rib meat. My husband ordered the sausage Neapolitan pizza- I had a bite and crust was perfect- chewy and the smoked mozzarella sausage and caramelized onions with a freshness of zucchini was delicious. Service was a bit slow at first - maybe bc we switched to outside at the last moment- however Pulitzer server was excellent attentive. Next time I will save room for the homemade deserts. Nutella donuts! Gelato! Homemade cake! I wish I could eat more. I will be back !!

I had dinner here with a group of 12 while in the area for a meeting. The venue had a cozy vibe. I ordered the bucatini which was delicious. The best part of the meal was the fresh bread and olive oil. Despite a large group, our server was patient, answered questions and made recommendations.

Loved my experience at Bar Lucca! We came here last night for my boyfriends moms birthday dinner. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to accommodate us last minute which was great! It was a Thursday night so I think it was a bit easier for us to get in last minute but would recommend making a reservation on the weekends! We started off with the calamari appetizer which was very tasty. I really liked the lemon aïoli dressing on top! My boyfriend and I decided to split the Tartufo Neapolitan pizza and the bucatini pasta. Both were very delicious and packed with a lot of flavor! The pizza was huge and very filling. Definitely could've split the pizza amongst the table. I really enjoyed the pasta dish and the pasta was so so fresh. Our server was very friendly and helpful the entire time! I didn't get a drink but everyone that did get a drink really enjoyed! Overall would come back to Bar Lucca anytime and I think it would be a great date spot! Highly recommend!

We went for a friend's birthday dinner here tonight and it was very good. We started with the burrata, meatballs and sopressata pizza. I thought these were the highlight of the night! We then split two pastas- bucatini and short rib rigatoni. Both were excellent- I slightly preferred the short rib. That said, the bucatini was vegetarian and had awesome cherry tomatoes. For dessert we got the Nutella donuts (a special), panna cotta and cappuccino. The desserts weren't my favorite. The cappuccino was perfectly hot but I didn't taste a ton of espresso. I also tried the basil drop cocktail which was fresh and I'd compare to a spiked lemonade. It was packed and depending on your seat you can watched the open kitchen a making dough and pizzas. Overall a great leisurely meal - we stayed three hours! Definitely worth checking out.

Very friendly and helpful waitstaff! Good solid Italian with great ambiance. I had the short rib pasta which was especially fantastic. Will be going again!

The food and ambiance were excellent. Had the short ribs dish. Test of my family enjoys their dishes as well. I would have given it five stars except for they had something burning that was killing all of our family's eyes. Bring the eye drops and go!

Service was good, food was disappointing. Avoid the gnocchi- mushy and bland. Ambiance is nice.

I've gone threee times now. Dined indoors and outdoors. They have a wide variety of menu items, they have great signature drinks which I have tried as well as your favorites and the prices are moderate. Staff is great and efficient and the environment is really relaxed and nice. Outdoor dining is definitely recommended to have a nice city seat on a semi busy street in Conshohocken.

Absolutely loved this place! 5/5 ambiance. It can be a cute date spot (: the outdoor seating by the entrance is really cute with the lights and looks so pretty when it gets dark outside 5/5 food. All the dishes were tasty! I especially likdd the crispy brussels and the bucatini pasta. But the sausage pizza and calamari were also really good. 5/5 service. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive. Would definitely come back!

Bar Lucca is absolutely incredible. From the service to the food to the drinks, I cannot think of one negative thing to say (other than that they are too far from me in the city!) I have dined in and also ordered delivery - no matter what, the food is perfect! Every item I have ordered has been delicious and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend the calamari and farmhouse salad for starters, and the burrata is also a classic! I could also eat the Tartufo pizza every day, it is so unique and is a great size. I also love the Basil Drop Martini! You cannot go wrong with anything you order at Bar Lucca!

Great food. We waited almost a half hour after our reservation time to be sat and service was very slow.

Had dinner there on 3/18. We showed up without a reservation on a Saturday night. They were able to squeeze us in. We were seated at the bar upstairs. The service was friendly and helpful. The food was awesome. I had the scallops, my wife had gnocchi and my daughter ordered a pizza. The was a lot of sharing of food because the food was all so tasty. The cocktails were great and the service was fast and friendly. I will certainly go back next time I am in the area.

Delicious Neapolitan pizza! As good as I had in Naples. Service was friendly and prompt. For those who prefer al fresco dining, there is patio seating next to the street.

Holy cow. We came here originally as a second choice option because our first choice happened to be closed on Monday's and I couldn't be happier about our decision. Me and two girlfriends shared a fantastic afternoon enjoying the breeze and the shade on the front patio while savoring every bite of what we ordered. We split the farmhouse salad, gnocchis and a pizza that I cannot pronounce as well as Brussels sprouts to start and everything was incredible. I'll be back with my husband if, for nothing else, to try every pasta on the menu. Amazing.

Fantastic people and wonderful food! My wife and I always look forward to having a dinner date at Bar Lucca! I can't say enough about the staff and how consistently friendly they are regardless of how busy the restaurant is!

I'm leaving a 4 star review only because they don't give you a 4.7- 4.9. I want it to be believable I have had dinner & lunch in the brick & mortar building a few times. I have also had stuff delivered to my Home. Unfortunately it's never the same as in the restaurant.m, and that's technically nobody's Fault in the restaurant end. My personal dining experiences have been good ones. Even though things have never been perfect , there's not a restaurant can be perfect. It's literally impossible.That being said. They are on point and do an amazing job. My last meal there, was the grilled/ seared bone in pork chop served on a bed of fried sage seasoned mashed potatoes/ with asparagus tips. It was not my usual selection, even though I dig pork chops. it was the quintessential sleeper meal for me, and I'm fussy. I am not over the top fussy, I believe a hotdog should taste like a hotdog and be cooked like a hotdog. And everything from their forward. I will be back again. I dig the pizza & wine. I actually prefer to sit at the counter where they make the pizzas and you can see the kitchen. I hope this review was helpful. Will definitely return

I went to Bar Lucca with friends and was so happy with the service! They have so much spacious outdoor seating options, and my party of four was luckily seated in the front tables - so pretty! Our waitress was extremely attentive (and always wearing her mask), she was constantly checking on us. Since we had a later reservation, she came out mid dinner to offer the dessert menu and check if we wanted to make sure that the fryer in the back didn't shut down. Never once did we feel rushed through our meal! The drinks were great and food was delicious!

Came here for dinner and a few drinks. Staff was very welcoming and informative about the men. Food was delicious and came out once it was ready "tapas style" Portions for appetizers are large so be prepared to take home leftovers if you underestimate the portion sizes!

Not only is chef will skilled at creating such a delightful menu his passion shows with each dish. Ally from management is equally passionate about each guest relieving exceptional service. Experience was top notch not just once but every time I've visited. I will be returning no doubt about it.

If you're ever in town, do yourself a favor and see Aaron at the bar, order an espresso martini and get a menu. This place is phenom!!! I had the sort rib rigatoni, the burrata and the chocolate Carmel cake. Everything was orgasmic!!! The ambiance was friendly and the food was above anything in the area. The staff was welcoming and the bartenders recommendations were on point!

Rating out of 10: 5 I'm confused on the 4-5 ratings for this place. This place is mediocre at best. By the time I went to dinner, they ran out of bread. Ordered a few cocktails and they weren't strong or anything special. Then go the entrees: the gnocchi was ok. Wasn't my favorite. The other pasta dish with prosciutto was good but nothing wowing or special. Pasta dishes were pretty small To have paid 80-85 dollars for 2 drinks and 2 entrees that weren't worth a second try, I'm not impressed. I would recommend checking out another spot.

So delicious!! We started with the arugula and prosciutto pizza which I loved! I wish the mozz was spread out more, there were some bites that were all cheese and some with none. My boyfriend got the carbonara which he loved. It was creamy and spicy and very filling! I got the scallops over sweet potato purée and they were so delicious. We didn't save room for desert so we will have to come back! Our waiter was also super friendly and very attentive, I think it was Tim or Dan. Overall great experience I can't wait to come back and try something new!
