Google
Quaint French restaurant next to the beach in Rockaway. We ordered a ceasar salad with Salmon and an Ahi Tuna burger & fries. Our appetizer was supposed to be escargot but the lady failed to tell the rest of the staff. She only communicated the entrees. We got the entrees and asked where the app was and that came quite some time later. The food was good, I would return. The salmon had a crispy crust on it and was not fishy. The salad seemed fresh and it was a nice size for an entree. The Ahi Tuna was great, fries as well. Escargot came to the table drenched in butter, garlic, and herbs. You could smell the seasoning right away. That’s all we could taste. The protein was not rubbery and it had a fair chew. Avoid the mocktails. The real cocktail was delightful.

Great experience! Staffs were great. Oysters were fresh and delicious. Cocktails were smooth and fantastic! Enjoyed my time there. Loved the Oysters happy hour (5-8pm)concept at the bar. Try Letters to Juliette!

Been here a few times and this is a cute little spot to grab a bite. The decor is really nice and upstairs outdoor space is a plus. Pasta Picatta was delicious and the Steak Fritas was prepared perfect. The truffle fries were also awesome. They have a very nice wine selection as well. The bar atmosphere is also very nice.

Great quality food. Pricey but worth every cent. Rare because food served at this level of greatness is completely scarce in the neighborhood this place exists in. If you are from far rockaway then you need to know this place exists, so happy to discover it today. We had: Truffle fries- so freaking amazing, perfectly fried, Parmesan cheese and herb sprinkled on top and real truffle flavor, no gimmicks here Jumbo grilled prawns- they said to beware of the hot skewers these individual shrimp are served on and they were right. $5 each is a bit expensive but the quality level and overall execution hit all the marks for me. Like I said, there is nothing like this around here. Fried artichokes- sooooo good, they are fried to perfection, crispy and served with a yummy sauce. Grilled bronzino- in the pic, served with these delicious grilled tomatoes and eggplant purée sauce all over the plate. The skin was crispy and the fish was FRESH. 10/10 on this dish Chicken skewers- same beautiful char as the grilled shrimp, super tender chicken chunks, served with quinoa on hummus. Also super great and nicely layered I had 2 glasses of chenin blanc and each of my guests had a drink. Our total was $245. Kind of expensive for this neighborhood but def worth visiting if you want a really good, fool proof meal or if you are celebrating something or can afford to eat like this on a regular day. Tip is included as the employees get paid by the hour which is great. The staff seems happy and well taken care of. Super attentive and this is def a place to go to for that fine dining experience and feel. Not to mention it is BEAUTIFUL. Bar inside, upstairs roof and outdoor patio. Live music and dj on the weekend and such great service from everyone down to the food runners/ table bussers. Great experience, super happy to have this place nearby.

Google
The lobster roll is not at all what I expected, poor quality, fries was good. Music was extremely loud and does not correspond to the declared French restaurant. Wine was brought after the meal was served. The place is poor in decor. Need some plants, pillows on stools or something on rooftop. Cocktails are good and a girl server was nice.

Google
This place hits all the marks. Beautiful atmosphere, attentive and warm service, and great food. I didn’t know a place like this could exist this far in Queens! They even had live music when we were there in a Wednesday. This place doesn’t skimp on any part of their service and makes for a very special dining experience. Plenty of outdoor and indoor space. Hands down one of the best French onion soups I’ve ever had.

Google
I'm so glad I gave this place a chance! I did not get to sit at a table, but the bar was great and the service was excellent- everyone working was attentive and friendly. We tried several cocktails throughout the night and each was an absolute hit. The restaurant is a no tip restaurant which I love because they are paying their workers fairly. I can't wait to come back and try more!

Google
Wanted to be fan but wasn’t. The food was ok and over priced. The Parmesan Truffle French Fries were the size of a McDonald small fries with very little Truffle for $12 bucks is a bit much. The Breakfast 2 eggs, two slices of bacon and a croissant for $18 was nothing to rave about and the olive lemon cake if you want to call it that was soggy $11. The sun doesn’t last too long by 1pm shade takes over so it gets a bit chilly. Wouldn’t recommend.

Yelp
Decided to stop for dinner last night, service was good - wait staff was friendly. The menu gave a little of italian, a little french, a little american (alot of confusion) Anywhoo we proceed to order and chit chat. I ordered the almondine sea bass and they ordered the chicken sandwich. When we received our food I was shocked at the size of the chicken sandwich (there was really no reason that sandwich had to be so big lol ) he didn't really enjoy it but really liked the aioli sauce . My sea bass was mediocre - the salad however had a pretty tasty vinaigrette dressing that I liked . The roasted broccoli was good also . And that pecan old fashioned is definitely a go to after work cocktail . They need to work on their execution for the entree's . Considering its location Im sure they get tons of business in the summer maybe I'll come around for drinks then .

Yelp
I've come to Bar Marseille twice once for dinner which was takeout and wants for brunch. There's street parking and street parking is metered. The location is a block from Rockaway Beach on Beach 69th Street at The Tides at Arverne by the Sea the location also has a rooftop bar. ⁩ Inside the restaurant on the main floor there's a nice central bar area with ample seating the bartender was warm and friendly and very informative about the drinks that they have when you order takeout you can order at the bar and sit at the bar while you wait for your meal. I came for brunch with my family a few Sundays ago. I had Omelette with Gruyere, Spinach, and herbs and a mimosa. I also had the heritage bacon. The Omelette was good but I there wasn't enough herbs in the omelette for me it was a bit bland. The bacon was delicious and cooked well without being over cooked. The Pink Guava Froze was delicious. Guava froze included elderflower, citrus and Chandon garden spritz. I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
This place was a perfect find! We came during the holiday and it was decorated accordingly. There were beautiful winter touches and Holiday wreaths everywhere! The staff was incredibly welcoming and responsive. We arrived during happy hour and enjoyed the delicious oysters. We tried a number of their cocktails including some specialty ones like the spiked hot chocolate. The bartender took pride in his drink creations. They were absolutely delicious! The onion soup was good. The fries with the grilled cheese was also very good! This was a wonderful time! We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
After beach brunch hit the spot! Beautiful place. We sat up on the rooftop. Very nice and shady and cool. During a heat wave the temperature up there was nice and refreshing! Drinks were good. I had The Maddie. Spicy Jalapeño Margarita with Spicy chili rim. Yummmm! I had the lobster roll. Which was Devine. Lobster fresh and cooked perfectly. Some of my friends had the steak sandwich. Fries were good! Side salad on the lobster roll was good too! Also had a side of Brussel sprouts that were also sooo delicious! Really enjoy my visit here. Would definitely swing back around to taste more things on the menu.

Yelp
I really love this place super cute and cozy Food is great .. the whole staff is super nice Drinks are amazing

Yelp
We wanted to love this place. When we first arrived you could tell that the staff was not welcoming. The host was not pleasant at all and just came off rude and as if we were a bother to him. Our wait staff seemed nice but the quality of service does not match the price. You could tell our waitress did not have much experience. The place was pretty empty but service was slow all around. Food was ok, nothing special at all especially for the price range. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return.

Yelp
Decided to take a drive and try something new; Bar Marseille was the perfect choice. Arriving on a Sunday afternoon it was pretty quiet; turns out during 3pm-5pm they only serve drinks and bar snacks, but we arrived around 4:40 so were able to order dinner without waiting too long. They have a nice outdoor patio, that is well spaced out; in warmer weather there is also a patio on the second floor that looks lovely as well. We started off with the Mussels Provencal served with frites. The mussels were fresh and tender and delicious, topped with some thinly sliced fennel. The frites are excellent and addicting. Next up were the entrees; The Grilled Pork Chop served with a cold lentil salad was exceptional. The pork was tender and flavorful and paired with the lentil salad it hit all the marks; I couldn't stop raving about it. Unfortunately they were out of the chicken, so opt'd for the Steak Frites. This was also delicious, tender steak topped with some foie gras and served with more of those wonderful frites. The wine list is lovely as is the by glass selection. They were out of one of our choices, so the bartender came over with 2 others for us to try to see which one we liked. I love when restaurants do things like that. We were having such a lovely time so moved onto dessert. The cappuccino was a great version and the Chocolate Pot de Creme was decadent and divine. The staff was just so lovely and while location wise it isn't the most convenient for most, it was definitely worth seeking out and I'd happily visit again.

Yelp
So we've discovered that's THERE IS an alternative to Irish pub and Italian food! Hooray! This place looked like a great find, so we called and found that there were no tables inside. Thinking about outside on a day that was 90 in Manhattan, we hesitated. But in the end we said let's give it a go! We ordered the deviled eggs. And another order came. Ok we'll take it!! Then a waitress comes over and says hey there's a table available inside! Ok let's move in. We sit next to a great couple, who start chatting up with us. She's Dutch, named Daniella and her husband Brett. They've been to Germany and we talk about the neighborhood, travel and family. Brett's lived here his whole life. Ok so enough with the niceties. Now to the wine and food! First a bottle of Clinet Pomerol 2016. Just soooo good. Full body really hits the spot. Pricey but well worth it! Seafood bouillabaisse for my one guest. He says it's amazing. My daughter ordered a steak sandwich with fries. My steak frites also came. Medium rare is just perfect. Also ordered crispy roasted Brussels sprouts. Just perfectly done. There's only one drawback, the place is extremely loud. If you're aiming at a quiet romantic dinner this is NOT your place! This is PARTY TIME FOLKS in Rockaway!! With the DJ cranking it up So just be forewarned.

Colleen M.

Yelp
The best brunch I've ever been to, hands down. We did the $55 bottomless veuve cliquot brunch and it did not disappoint! 2 hours of full glasses of premium champagne can't be beat. The food was delicious across the board, my only note would be the caprese salad has olives in it, which would've been good to know (not noted on menu). Ambiance was great, so nice to be able to sit inside, rooftop or outside. Our server, Yinella, was top notch - excellent at anticipating needs but never hovering. .10/10 will seek out again!

Paula L.

Yelp
I had been eager to try this restaurant. I was disappointed. The menu is small and not very interesting. The staff is very nice, but I'm not so sure about whomever is responsible for running the restaurant. The place had a lot of tables available, yet there was a wait to be seated. It also took forever in the end for someone to come and wrap the leftovers and bring us the check. The food was okay. We had The escargot for an appetizer. It was super salty. The Bouillabaisse was okay. The steak Frites were very good though. I really didn't love the atmosphere. Hated the cheesy chairs. I spoke with some other people sitting near us and they were not too impressed either.

Yelp
For a transporting experience from the South of France on the water in the very hipster happening Arverne by the sea. A trip plays standard and pop and the food and wine are.fantastic. Drank: Cote du Rhone &12 Are: Smoked trout salad Modules and frites $22 The wine list is very extensive and high quality for the price. The modules and frites were delectable. I just realized there was no baguette only thing missing as this is a destination deserving of praise.

Yelp
Came here last min to eat some good food and enjoy the vibe. At first, the place seemed nice so we were really excited to try their food. We ordered quite a few dishes and although I can't really complain about the food, I think the servers were really unprofessional and very rude up at the rooftop. They kept forgetting our orders or condiments we asked for. We had to wave our hands for a min or two while the two servers were walking back and forth not even paying attention to the tables to see if we need anything else. We asked a couple questions and the guy would just reply and walk away. So rude! On top of that they add 18% for tip. No wonder they're so rude and don't give shit about giving good service. If anything go downstairs and chill there. The bartender was really friendly and polite. Also, they have dollar oysters only at the bar and not at the rooftop!

Nico D.

Yelp
I don't plan to return based on my experience and don't recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for lunch in Arverne. Unfortunately, the staff made me feel manipulated by their 18% "Administrative Fee" on the check. Our server never alerted us to this uncustomary practice before we ordered or paid. And the tip is selected on an iPad, not on the printed receipt. The iPad does not identify the fee in the total. After asking multiple servers to explain the fee, one finally admitted the fee was a gratuity fee. No one offered to fix my tip, which was 20% on top of the 18% "fee". I felt exploited into spending more than I had planned on an average lunch. Disappointing. The food was ok. What was listed on the menu as a seared ahi tuna burger on the menu was no more than a frozen tuna burger with--bizarrely--blueberry sauce on it, rather than the olive aoli listed on the menu.

Maria K.

Yelp
We had a very negative vibe walking in. The "empty" look , the plastic tables, a very loud table of about 10 people with kids running and screaming. We asked for a table away from them, the glasses were upside down literally stuck on the table ( something about that type of plastic made glass glued on) We almost got up to leave and thank god we didn't cause the chef deserves a Michelin star! Excellent dishes , from appetizers to main course was wow! Perfect signature drinks as well. Those type of dishes deserve a better ambiance place in my opinion. Nevertheless will def go back. We had the octopus which was very soft and excellent seasoned, a dozen oysters very fresh , a salad with ricotta very different. 2 of us had the Pan seared Mediterranean Loup de mer ... that was wow! Another friend had the steak perfectly cooked juicy and tasty with a cold lentil salad. Stuff was very nice as well.

Shaquana W.

Yelp
I purchased tickets for a comedy show and I'm so sorry I did. The service was horrible. The manager was horrible. The bartender lady, I didn't catch her name, was nice but working so hard. I came in and there was no one to sit us. I stood by the bar and the manager paid me no attention. I waited for 20 minutes until I asked for help. He said " I'm trying to get these drinks out, I'm busy. I'll sit you when I get a minute ". I never had service like this. I stayed because my mother wanted to stay, but I will never come back ...NEVER AGAIN, UNDER staff DOESNT EVEN EXPLAIN THE SERVICE OR BEHAVIOR!!!!

Karen M.

Yelp
My sister and I were so excited to try this place! Unfortunately we were quite disappointed with our dinner there. Ambiance = 3 (bare, cold, unfinished) Service = 2 (staff is very nice but did not check on how appetizers or dinners were, just dropped the food and left) Food = 1 Appetizer: Crispy zucchini with lemon yogurt for dipping. Not good. Paper thin slices of zucchini with tons of breading. No exaggeration. It was 98% breading. Deep fried breadcrumbs appetizer. Lemon yogurt sauce was delicious though. We tried peeling huge chunks of breading off some to find a paper thin slice of zucchini so we gave up. Dinner: Salmon Au Poive. Salmon was cooked with a nice crust but quite overdone on a small bed of mushy spinach. Sauce was very salty with no other flavor but salt. Would not recommend. Beef Bourginon: Disaster. Served in a lovely cast iron dish, this was really just a poorly prepared beef stew. Very thin broth with about about four tiny pieces of bitter carrots, three tiny pearl onion, three itty bitty half mushroom pieces and a meager portion of stringy and tough beef. Beef Bourginon it was not. Not even close. Nobody bothered to check on us during appetizers or dinner. Place was not busy at all. When the waiter came to pick up the appetizer plates and asked how it was, we told him it was all bread and he said he would tell the kitchen. When the busboy asked if I wanted a box for my mostly untouched beef bourginon dinner I said it was not good. He smiled and picked up the plate. I said seriously it was a bad dinner, not good at all he must have told the kitchen because the waiter took it off our check. He never acknowledged it was bad, just took it off. Nice guy but clearly not trained in how to handle that type of issue. Sad to say we will not return.

Yelp
The best dining experience I ve had since 2019! As we all know COVID has hit, and it has hit HARD. Although things have slowly been coming back to normal or to our new normal I was one of those people who was hesitant to go anywhere, finally my equally paranoid bestie and I decided to venture out to the Rockaways (for us the land of the unknown) and picked this spot. Firstly, service was amazing! The people that work here truly care about creating the beat dining experience one can wish for. We sat outdoors in 50 degree weather under their amazing heaters and felt wonderful and comfortable. The food was delicious and had a great presentation. Very nice ambiance and positive vibe to the place. I would definitely recommend this place and will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I stopped by Bar Marseille after spending a few hours at the beach. Bar Marseille is very conveniently located within a block of the Rockaway boardwalk and right on the side of the street from the beach 69th street A train stop. I had a few glasses of blanc de Blanc along with some shrimp cocktail. The shrimps were quite big. They have a brunch cocktail special at $30 for two hours. The atmosphere is awesome. They're is a view of the ocean. They also have live music at times. Service is very friendly and attentive. Definitely a great spot when visiting the beach.

Robert M.

Yelp
Marco was great. Made great suggestions. I ordered a steak and asked me if I wanted it cut up because I couldn't use my left hand. It came back great will be back often and will ask for Marco to wait on us Wonderful place and food.

Marie A.

Yelp
This spot is the perfect summer escape. Came for lunch and didn't want to leave. Got a spread with friends that included an awesome lobster roll, super tasty calamari with a spicy aioli , crispy Brussels sprouts, French onion dip with chips and some really fab Maggie's (their take on a margarita). The staff was extremely friendly and the vibe was super chill. Definitely recommend before or after the beach

Yelp
I am a Real Estate Agent, with Laffey Realty in Little Neck. Our Manager organized few Events there. it was absolutely very well set up, delicious food, excellent service. Everyone had good time, and will be back. Today I am setting up a group of 20 Friends to get together. Working with Eva, was easy. Cant wait for 5:00PM to have great dinner!!!

Fontona M.

Yelp
Nice vibe, Good food & Drinks , perfect place to dine solo and people watch ... Amazing

Yelp
I'm so happy there's such a good French place on Rockaway. I usually have to drive all the way out to my favorite spot in LIC to get my fixing. Service was great and helping when answering questions. There's limited options on the menu BUT everything we ordered was great. It's ambiance is nice for lunch and the train doesn't make loud noises when passing. It's more picturesque adding to the view of anything. We got the goat cheese appetizer which was a perfect share and more than enough for 3 people. It's was a rich herbed goat cheese spread paired with slightly charred on the grill sourdough slices. Really lovely. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich (I wanted a burger but we were ordering off the lunch menu - dinner doesn't start til 5pm.) It was a nice thicker cut of chicken marinated well with aioli, greens and bacon which came together nicely. Quiet filling which was surprising. I did order the seasoned fried which I prefer with a sandwich over salad. Also I wasn't too into the desert options so I had the brioche French toast. ABSOLUTELY the best choice for something on the sweeter side. I have to say I enjoyed that French toast more than the chicken. It was thick pieces with I believe is a cream cheese type stuffing. I enjoyed that it was just a dab of cream cheese since I'm a little lactose intolerant. It was accompanied by a spread of freshly made jam and HOT maple syrup. Completely mouthwatering and satisfying. I'm not a breakfast person whatsoever and I'm so happy this is on the menu. This place is really more than I expected and I'll be back to try dinner! I hope it lasts for many years to come.

Deesha M.

Yelp
Beautiful ambiance! The food, wine and cocktail list was so on point. Loved the grilled oysters, truffle fries, Thai moule frites and Bouillabaisse. Really great service. The rooftop was very charming and not too chilly. Great for intimate dinner/drinks and birthdays.

Suzanne R.

Yelp
Wonderful menu choices ranging from the simple to the sublime. Attentive service and extensive bar with signature cocktails. This is going to be a big hit & "must try" destination in the Rockaway's.

Jerry G.

Yelp
Went to Bar Marseille with my boyfriend & my "work wife", after spending the day at the beach!!! Everyone - the manager, the hostess, the bartender, the server, the food runner - were ALL very friendly, accommodating & professional! We had oysters, cheese & charcuterie, a burger, a sandwich, mussels, ratatouille, and macaroons!!! The cocktails were amazing, well balanced & delicious!!! I recommend EVERYONE should try this place....

Doug M.

Yelp
Saw a story about their opening and had to go out to support them. Very glad I did! Nice looking space, even with 25% indoor capacity. Very friendly attentive service. Interesting menu too ... not a formal French restaurant at all but I'd say elevated bistro. Lots of choices for drinks too, along with fun cocktails. The four plates I tasted were excellent: * super fresh raw oysters with a mignonette sauce. * mussels and fries ... clean, plump tasty in a Thai broth. Fries would make any French bistro proud. * chicken Provençal ... juicy chicken falling off the bone with toasted bread for the broth. * pork chop with black lentils and squash purée. This now surpasses St. Anselm's pork chop as my favorite ever. Moist inside with an amazing char on the outside, seasoned perfectly. I was literally gnawing on the bone. Hope they do they well, they deserve to get a following!

C J.

Yelp
They could do so much better. The menu looks good but the food falls flat. I ordered three apps, champagne, and a house cocktail. None special. A person who seemed to want to display his in-charge-ness talked way too loud without having any awareness of the customers around them the whole time I was there. (I'd hate to work for such a person). He was drinking and started all his sentences with, "Um...". Fix the food, fix the manager, also the acoustics need some work. Could be great!

Meg A.

Yelp
Too bad we really wanted to like this restaurant but it just missed the mark in every category plus it was not inexpensive. The service was terrible the bar staff talked amongst themselves as we wanted to order or get a question in. N O masks behind the bar just COVID-19 unsafe! That was a tune off but the food was ok, the drinks ok appetizers not great, the fish was good but not for the price. I won't be bank to this place. The tip was 18% built in so that's pretty much explained the shit service.

Jennifer P.

Yelp
Bar Marseille never disappoints. We've been coming for our anniversary and their menu is always delicious. Their Caesar salad is to die for.

Ricky S.

Yelp
I went there to try it out since they are recently open ,I had looked the menu online I said why not made a long trip from Jersey to check this place food and drinks was outstanding great ambiance and our bartender Ulises was amazing making our cocktails right in front of us and describing every single ingredient ,we had the goat cheese, the clams and onion soup for main course we shared the fish wrapped in fingerling potatoes and asparagus with French fries see the photos below Amazing experience

Liz D.

Yelp
Ordered the chicken sandwich which came with a side salad. The chicken had a char on it which I liked but in some areas became a bit much. I have to say I kinda hated my cocktail and couldn't bear more than a sip or two. So much for that $15 :/ But you can never really tell by a experience if a place is good or not so I went once more. The mussels in the curry sauce were DELISH and I don't tend to like curry dishes. I also got a steak which was cooked well and fries were very fresh and crunchy. My friend got a simple pasta which was light and aromatic in flavor and she seemed to like.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Disappointing experience for dinner. The rooftop is promising but there is so much more they can do with that space. When we arrived the hostess brought us upstairs, only to have us come back downstairs since the tables were not set. We then went back up with her. First round of drinks arrived quickly as did the appetizers. Main course took over 30 minutes to arrive and was cold. One main course was inedible cold & had to be returned. Make sure to check your bill they double charged us for wine. Luckily there is a pizza place across the street in the event you do leave here hungry. Staff was extremely nice but seems as though the organization of the restaurant needs major improvement.

Nicole D.

Yelp
Sat at the bar at happy hour on a quiet Sunday evening. Was charged full price for drinks. On top of that, they add 18% "service charge" to bill without telling you. Will not go there again.

Kente J.

Yelp
I wish I had read Nico's review before I went because I too was "tricked" by this administrative fee and selected the 20% tip that was on the iPad. So I ended up paying almost half of my bill in gratuity. I appreciate and support service but I can't say the service I received was at that level. In the middle of our meal, we were loved to make room for others, the staff was not attentive to us or the party sitting next to us (who were also moved) - perhaps because we did not appear to be on as a familiar as those we were moved to accommodate. But being sidelined and then doubled on the gratuity is not a way to get people to want to come back. You almost forget how the meal was. And it seems that even if you dine alone, they throw this administrative fee on - I'm am accustomed to seeing this with large parties. The response to Nico mentions that this is on the menu - I did not see that at all so it cannot possibly be something noticeable. It is a disappointment- as a Rockaway resident, I want to support our local restaurants but now I don't see myself going back any time soon. All I can do here is alert future diners about this practice.

Trinaka B.

Yelp
The food and drinks were decent but the menu is very limited. Nice atmosphere and beautiful views. Our check included an "Administrative Fee" of over $11 ($73 check) to our surprise. The explanation was that it would help make sure that all the staff were compensated. THEN there was a tip suggested of about $5. Very confusing. Nice summer hangout but beware of the fee.

Melissa R.

Yelp
The cocktail shrimp were good. My friend said his steak was ok. The truffle fries were amazing. Drinks were regular as well. I would stop by if I was in the area again

Sunita H.

Yelp
Came for brunch, food was delicious, unlimited bubbles was a great option. We had the calamari and tuna burgers and they both were fresh and delicious. Come if you can to support this business, you can tell that they try very hard to provide high quality food and service. You wont regret choosing bar marseille!

Everything was really enjoyable but their billing is shady. It was just my wife and I but we were charged an 18% admin fee. The receipt listed the liquor not the actual drinks making it impossible to verify the bill. Nice place but nothing unique will not be going back. Felt ripped off.

Yelp
I placed a delivery order through Grubhub. received a couple of messages saying sorry your order will be late and after over one hour got a notice saying my order was cancelled. No explanation. Poor customer service.

Yelp
Wanted to be a fan but wasn't. The food was flavorless, small servings and overpriced. The truffle fries had very truffle and the cake, if you want to call it that was soggy. Paid $23 for small fries and a slice of cake. Never again. I'm all for supporting local businesses but the prices are ridiculously high. Also, the sun fades after 1pm and there's no outdoor heating so it gets very cold.

Yelp
Bar was so dark couldn't even see going into the restaurant. Not handicap friendly at all

Yelp
Great business with amazing bar tenders. Danny, victor, Oliver, Natalia, Laura, Andrea -- the champions and always take care of customers. Prices are great. Services is always better! Love this place.

Yelp
Happy hour $1 oysters here are WORTH IT. I take back my 3 star review previously like months ago from brunch. Their BOUILLABAISSE mussels shrimp combo is worth it - so delicious - still drooling over it. Definitely will be back! 1 star minus from a 5 star coz everything is still a little bit on the pricier side (non-happy-hour oysters for 6 pieces = $24). So happy to have found this place downstairs as a go-to after work! Also their pasta Tagliatelle was delish.

Yelp
Staff really kind and nice, dishes with extraordinary flavor and they take care on every ingredient that they used, I can't really eat onions and they also offered made a different version of the linguine seafood and was amazing. They gave us two free shot for Valentine's that actually were pretty good. Definitely I would recommend this awesome jewel in far rock away. Totally recommended.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Rockaway Beach restaurants. Their food and drinks are quality, and the service is fantastic.

Yelp
The place has potential to be good but it's not The food is so-so at best and the menu is limited Nothing on the menu that you would say hey you have to try their "whatever" Asked about their oysters, two servers had no idea what kind or where they're from Ordered oysters and deviled eggs Says it comes in an order of 3 and 4 Not the case, they come in single orders now... don't assume the price is divided by the original orders and original price because they're not The deviled eggs weren't bad, they come with shrimp on them which I've never had before. Anyways we get the bill and there's an 18% admin fee When paying the bill I asked the server is this a gratuity to you? He says no this is for the company to make sure they can pay their employees. Which doesn't make sense to me at all... isn't the food and product you sell suppose to keep the company afloat and pay for everything? 18% gratuity I would understand (which is based on the servers work and interaction with their customer) But an 18% admin fee that goes to a company that has numerous restaurants and establishments and I know this because they have it posted on their business card and right when you walk in the door is ridiculous. So a place that has five restaurants under their hospitality company needs to charge an 18% fee to pay their employees? No that company needs to come out of pocket because they made a bad investment. This place won't last long in rockaway

Yelp
Sat upstairs which can get windy! You muuuuuuuuust get the oysters Rockefeller. This is something I wouldn't be able to replicate and they probably have an award on this oyster....sooooo sooooo good. $4 bucks a pop so savor it ...your taste buds will be like "waaaaa" and the iris of your eyeballs will widen...that kind of effect...i thought these were excellent. Raw oysters were smooth and sweet...I don't think I've ever had a bad oyster...knock on wood...I think I just jinxed myself.... Mussels Thai version is skippable...maybe I should have known ...it's a French restaurant.....the grilled octopus is good...like 8/10 good...not knock off my socks excellent...it was well cooked and it had like a veracruz topping.... The marseille salad is a big bowl of super pretty good looking greens and purple leaf lettuces and herbs...didn't get the lavender hint.... Overall good.... The king is the oyster Rockefeller for sure
